"The Clarksville restaurant offers traditional Chinese fare and a limited dim sum menu until 10 p.m. The famous soup dumplings are, obviously, not to be missed. The small dining room can sometimes get crowded, so reservations are always a good idea." - Darcie Duttweiler
"Another successful restaurant by Chef Ling Qi Wu, known for its Asian cuisine and being a favorite among guests, including celebrities like Martha Stewart." - Michael He
"Lin is from the same team as Qi, but despite the half-mile proximity and the significant menu overlap, the two places feel worlds apart. Part of that is probably the old, remodeled house that Lin is set in, which adds a sense of crowded intimacy to the experience. During dinner, you’ll be able to order from a menu of about a dozen different dumplings, baos, and egg rolls, but on the weekends during brunch that expands to about 30+ options. Soup dumplings should definitely be a part of your order, and if you’re feeling especially adventurous, you can order a giant soup dumpling that’s about the size of four normal ones. Just keep in mind that dim sum here—dumplings in particular—comes at a hefty Clarksville premium." - nicolai mccrary
"Lin’s soup dumplings are virtually identical to the ones at Qi—it’s from the same team, and just a few blocks away—but the biggest wild card here is that you can order a massive one that’s roughly the size of a baseball, and filled with a rich pork, chicken, and duck broth that you can slurp out with a straw. We prefer the classic-sized dumplings—they’re a little easier to eat and feel more balanced—but the Texas-sized version is worth trying once just for the novelty." - nicolai mccrary
"A little more casual than its swanky Downtown sibling Qi, Lin Asian Bar in Clarksville is where you should head for an upscale Chinese dinner on Christmas Day when you don't want to deal with crowded parking. It’s also the only place we know of where you can get a jumbo, baseball-sized soup dumpling that makes a pretty good last-minute gift for your dining companion." - nicolai mccrary
