"When Noble Rot’s Mychal Dynes and Nodoguro’s Mark Wooten opened this palace of mezcal and tacos in September 2017, it quickly became a destination. The menu includes tacos with fillings like carrot pastor and crispy carnitas, as well as hefty tortas like the Suadero Americano with braised beef and melted American cheese. Smoky mezcal cocktails accompany the food menu, with an impressively long mezcal list. Dynes and Wooten opened a second spot in downtown Ridgefield, where they offer a lunch menu that includes burritos; the space splits time with their other business, Bunnie’s Pizza, which features specialty pizzas like an heirloom tomato pie and pasta dishes like pork ragu over penne." - Rachel Pinsky

"Nobel Rot’s Mychal Dynes and Nogoguro’s Mark Wooten have added a parklet with heaters to the space outside their beloved mezcal and taco spot in downtown Vancouver. Taco lovers devouring meaty oyster mushroom tacos and cheeseburger-like tortas Americano, while sipping mezcal-infused cocktails, fill the tables in Little Conejo’s warmed parklet, spilling out into the unheated picnic tables lining the outside of this corner space. Little Conejo doesn’t take reservations so it’s best to come at less popular times around lunch time and before the dinner rush." - Rachel Pinsky

"This cheerful counter-service taqueria in Vancouver grinds its own masa every day for its tortillas, which end up loaded with juicy and flavorful suadero and wicked-crispy logs of chorizo filled with gooey cheese. Any combination works well with the restaurant’s extensive mezcal collection." - Nathan Williams, Ron Scott
