The 18 Best Restaurants In Burbank

"Sandwich shops are everywhere in Burbank, a neighborhood dominated by hungry studio workers who are all short on time. If we had to pick a favorite, it would be Little Nelly. The all-day spot functions as part bakery, market, and gift shop. Come for a mayo-slicked, herby chicken salad sandwich and you'll leave with a frozen La Morra pizza, a few scones, and an artisanal rolling pin. This is a to-go operation only, so just do what you always do and eat in your car with a teeny tiny tear rolling down your face. If you’re an assistant whose job it is to feed an entire set, rely on Little Nelly for their robust catering services, which include bagel spreads, BBQ packages, and build-your-own sandwich boards. " - brant cox

Little Nelly - Review - Burbank - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

Burbank’s New Little Nelly Cookbook Market and Takeout Restaurant Opens - Eater LA

"Little Nelly is now open in the city’s Magnolia Park neighborhood at 3815 W. Magnolia Boulevard, selling everything from sandwiches and breakfast burritos to hot sauces and popular titles from famous chefs and authors. Little Nelly is the newest offshoot of under-the-radar catering outfit Whoa Nelly Catering, which has been managing private events in greater LA for more than a dozen years. The small, sunny shop is the group’s first foray into a truly public-facing business, and it comes as greater Los Angeles continues to see a rise in tiny spaces with big retail ambitions. Customers can pick up breads, biscuits, pastries, cookies, and cakes by the slice. The shop will also sell goods made elsewhere, including pizzas from La Morra and burritos from Burritos La Palma, as well as cookbooks from names like Molly Baz, and of-the-moment brands like Graza olive oil. The cozy, wood-rich shop was designed by Preen, the firm behind Lasita, Pine & Crane, and more." - Farley Elliott

Google
We catered my son's 5th birthday party with sandwiches from Little Nelly. The only reason I don't have photos of the fantastic presentation and packaging is because the platters were devoured so quickly by our guests! Everyone said it was the best "party" food they've ever had--which means a lot to families who are usually stuck with their kids' leftover pizza. Little Nelly was fantastic to work with, always answered questions quickly and helpfully, their delivery was on-time and reasonable, and the food was farm-to-table deliciousness. One big reason we ordered from Little Nelly was it's unique kids' menu offering--sunflower butter & jelly sandwiches for guests with allergies! That option made everyone feel at ease and accommodated. We look forward to using Little Nelly for our future party needs!

Google
Just finished thoroughly enjoying today’s Sunday breakfast burrito special. We come to Little Nelly on the regular. Whether it’s for sandwiches, breakfast or their delicious baked goods, Little Nelly hits it out of the park every time. Thankful to have this gem in the neighborhood. Nice selection of grab n go eats for events like the Hollywood Bowl or Cinespia movie nights, Beautifully curated items such as tablewares, pantry items and cookbooks. Great gift ideas!! Love supporting small business. Everyone is always so welcoming and helpful. Parking is always easy. Little Nelly never disappoints. Highly recommended. 10/10

Google
Easily the best sandwiches in LA. The egg and biscuit (weekend brunch) is unbelievably delicious. You can't go wrong with anything, but that one in particular goes so very right.

Google
This place is amazing - the sandwich bread alone is just so good. That perennial turkey sandwich is something my entire office raves about. Such a gem in Burbank. The salads are freaking delicious too. We have submitted several large orders here (for 14+ people) and they knock it out of the park each time. Support local!

Google
A beautifuly currated shop with gourmet eats. They are just starting out but I see they already agree with my olive oil tastes. The food was delicous and the baked goods are the better value over the toast. This well-appointed shop is a great place to get something for your mom who already had everything.

Google
Egg sandwich is delicious. Thank you Little Nelly for this little ounce of happiness and peace for me and the SFV community during the fires.

Google
Ordered catering from Little Nellys for my toddlers park party and they called to confirm, detailed my requests and were easy to work with when I had to change the date. The food was amazing, larger portions that I expected and it was all ready and beautifully packaged right on time! Would highly recommend Little Nellys for your next event. They also donated a ton of food to the LA firefighters!!

Google
Little Nelly has the most delicious food with the most amazing, fresh ingredients in their seasonal menus. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the shop is beautiful and always a joy to visit.

Yelp
Every time I come here I love it more and more! 1/2 off baked goods from 2pm-3pm There is always something good to eat, drink, and fun gifts to buy! Still wish they could add some seating, somewhere outside maybe?

Yelp
Delicious farro salad and desserts! I originally was going to get a sandwich but once I read the description of the Farro salad, the flavors sounded perfect for a light, yet satisfying lunch. The greens were fresh and gave a nice bite. The lemon dressing was bright and tasty, and the harissa flavored farro with garbanzo beans tasted great together. The browned butter walnut cake with espresso maple glaze was SOOO good! Dense, moist, perfect texture, almost like a banana bread. Delicious to have some bites after lunch. Good portion that I was able to split with someone too! Such a cute lunch spot with lots of things to "window shop"! Cute, unique cards, cookbooks, seasonal themed tea towels, you name it. Would go again!

Yelp
Incredible ingredients. Nice, helpful employees. Delicious sandwiches. I had the summertime panini (it was called spring something) and had mozzarella and turkey then panini grilled. I also had one of their crazy organic local artisanal nectarines and a coco nut lime cookie Everything was delicious and well prepared. They have a lovely little gift shop vibe and have a beautifully curated selections of food, snacks, drinks and little cards and gifts. It's a lovely little place and both ones I've been here, I've thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambiance.

Yelp
Oh my YUM! There are certain places I eat at and right away, I'm like I gotta write a review here because it's just so good! This is one of those spots. The place is cute and the pastries are homemade. I had the orange zested and cardamom cookie and with that first bite, I was in LOVE! The service was great and I'm already looking forward to coming back here tomorrow. The only thing is, they don't have dine in services.

Yelp
Beautiful takeout/cafe boutique which DELICIOUS food! I love Yelp for helping me find places like this that I would otherwise have no idea existed. I will definitely be back many, many times and will message all my Burbank friends to let them know this gorgeous place exists! The biscuits ARE as good as they look which says a lot cuz they look GOOD. Pretty sure it's the best biscuit I've ever had! Perfectly crispy outside and soft buttery inside. I also had the spinach fontina(?) quiche and it was also delicious. Whoever is baking here KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. The salmon toast was beautiful and delicious! Not nearly as much salmon as other pictures I saw here but it was pretty balanced and tasted great - I'll definitely be back for this! I also got the Little Nelly salad which was picture perfect and priced well at $12. The prices may be a little higher for certain items but justifiable to me because they are clearly using high quality ingredients from the jam to the eggs. The tip choices are set to a minimum of 15% (unless you use the custom button) which does feel high for a takeout-only place. The food is SO delicious and the entire store is so charming and exceptionally well curated. I will definitely be back to try every pescatarian friendly item on the menu (which is a lot)!

Yelp
Love this place! The Turkey Sandwich was delicious. The Ham sandwich was amazing as well. The Mike High Biscuits were next level as were the Chocolate chip cookie. My new favorite lunch spot. Staff was so friendly.

Yelp
This place needs another review. I love coming here. Delicious freshly baked sweets, mouthwatering sandwiches and salads, breakfast burritos and more. You will definitely find something you love here. Great quality Great customer service. Lovely houseware and cookbooks and pantry items. Great ambiance, a great place to shop for gifts as well
google avatar

Yelp
Sandwiches and baked goods here are amazing - you can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the care that goes into making every item. Whenever they have new pastries in the bakery counter, I'm delighted - they never disappoint. They also have a great rewards program and reasonable prices. We are lucky to have them in the neighborhood!

Yelp
So let me start with yes it's a cute spot but it seems there's a lack of organization. First impressions mean everything and sadly when a business say they open at certain time, but they tend to open later that's a huge turn off. Second, the ppl that work there like please be nice and smile. The only one who was semi nice was the young lady taking our orders . The other ppl didn't even respond to a good morning from our group . Then they all look like they hate each other and didn't even communicate, which then seemed they were all disorganized looking for things and putting the orders together. It was my first time and sadly my last. Some friends had gone back and express same concerns so hopefully they get it together.

Yelp
This place is a must if you're in the area during their business hours. Everything prepared here is outstanding. You can tell that they carefully select their ingredients based on what is in season. I personally love their almond loaf, biscuits and sandwiches but I trust that everything they have is going to be great. I also love their iced lattes. The syrups that they use in their coffee drinks are really delicious. They also have a variety of pantry items and home goods for sale as well. The staff has always been so friendly to me. Seating is limited, so I usually order take out.

Yelp
I have been here 2 times in 3 days. The food is superb. First time visiting I had the tuna sandwich with capers and lemons and it may be the best tuna sandwich I have ever eaten. Treated myself to a cookie (amazing). Came back a second time for breakfast on Sunday and got an egg croissant with prosciutto and Gruyère, just delicious and a cinnamon bun, so good. This is a five star spot I just wish they had space to sit and eat the food!

Yelp
Popped in here on a Saturday afternoon with my husband to grab him a coffee and grab myself one of those biscuits that were getting rave reviews on Yelp! It's a cute little shop that has some giftable items and a small selection of groceries. While my biscuit was amazingly buttery and tasty and my husband enjoyed his coffee, the one thing that was kind of....I guess off-putting about this place is there is no menu. Which is odd especially considering they have hot food you can order. So it definitely would have been nice to know what options I have here other than the few pastries in the case. Or what kind of drinks, if any, they might have other than hot coffee. Very odd to not have a menu and if you're anything like me (I like to scope out menus before I go anywhere so I can ponder what I'd like and check Yelp for photos of dishes I'm interested in), a little anxiety inducing.

Yelp
Super cute small shop/market/to-go cafe. It's a little disappointing that there isn't any seating for patrons to use. I came here after dropping off my dog for grooming down the street at Euphuria and was looking for coffee. It's right next to the Morrison and there is only street parking or a public parking lot the next block over. I walked into the shop and it's definitely got a modern rustic aesthetic. The menu is stashed by the register and only listed lunch & breakfast items. There's not a separate coffee menu. There is also a QR code but the online menu didn't seem to match the printed menu. There wasn't a line and it looked like there were just two other patrons waiting for their order. I ordered the lemon caper tuna sandwich and an iced hazelnut latte with oat milk, which came out to about $22 plus tip. The sandwich is standalone and doesn't come with a side. Definitely not an everyday lunch place with those prices! I will say the quality of food and drink is fantastic! The coffee was perfect, not overly sweetened and a definitely wonderful balance. The sandwich was so yummy - the lemon brings out a tart/sharp taste to the tuna sandwich. I will say it was a little overloaded with mayo - it keep squirting out of the bread with each bite. It did take about 10 min for the coffee to be ready and about 5 min after that for the sandwich to be ready. Definitely something to think about if you're in a hurry and if there's actually a line. It did give me a chance to walk around the shop/market. They have tons of stuff to browse. I'm usually a sucker for gift shops but there wasn't anything that caught my eye here. They do offer sanzo seltzer drinks, which is awesome (Asian inspired seltzer flavors & an Asian owned brand). I would definitely come back and try other things on the menu! And of course treat myself to another delicious latte.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting Little Nelly and it won't be my last! It's a cute little market that has everything from tinned fish to hot fudge. I tried their breakfast burrito and it was so good! The bacon was delicious, the tater tots were crispy, and it wasn't too filling. I'll definitely be back to try their coffee and shop around the store.

Yelp
First time trying Little Nelly. Cute take out food/ shop with some interesting gourmet food items, cookbooks and wares. We got the egg sandwich and the Parisienne sandwich with French ham. An oat milk latte and a few goodies to share with friends- cookies(chocolate chip, coconut lime, double chocolate) and a piece of almond blackberry cake. While everything was good , I gave it 4 stars because we felt the sandwich fillings could have been a bit more for the price. Also we didn't get 2 of the cookies we ordered in our bag - so glad I checked before we drove away- and there was no seating- it would have been lovely to have somewhere other than our car to eat. That said, they were very very nice and helpful with suggestions for us first timers. The coffee is good too and I found some Dijon mustard from France I like! I would definitely come back and try their homemade biscuit and some other items on the menu. I really wish there was some seating so hot menu items could be enjoyed. Unless you live nearby- it would be hard to get anything but a quick handheld item.

Yelp
This place is quite the gem. They have some very unique foods, and what I tasted was quite delicious. I do feel like it is quite pricey, and the times that I went were a little bit of a wait. There's really no place to sit Inside or outside while you wait. Feel like they need to add something to accommodate.
google avatar

Jon N.

Yelp
It's a cute little place with an identity crisis. Is it a restaurant (take-out, with no real seating)? A market? A gift shop? A book store?? Well, it's a little bit of all of those. The woman at the register was lovely. Three others were catering to one customer, and it wasn't a warm feeling. It's a shame, because this is the type of place that will need to rely on a loyal customer base to spread the word but, except for the one woman, the rest if us were left to just wait for take- out food. I got a chicken salad sandwich that was very good. Not nearly enough protein, but the chibata roll was great, and the dressing was amazing. The menu is limited, and I do hope they ultimately expand it a bit. For vegan and vegetarian, there are some selections they might appreciate. Pastries looked great. The little market was extremely limited and all over the place, but what they do have is very fun/interesting. Some nice cheeses, too. Hopefully, they figure it all out and are successful. It's got a ton of potential, and it's worth a try.
google avatar

Karen X.

Yelp
This place is so darn cute! In addition to selling delicious sandwiches, salads, and pastries to go, they also have every cookbook imaginable and a number of specialty items for purchase. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and a farro salad today. I also got a pint of espresso gelato to go. The sandwich was much was delicious. The bread was a perfect combination of crunchy and soft. It was also bigger than I expected. I haven't tried the farro salad yet but if it's anything like the sandwich, I'm sure it'll make a great dinner. The only potential issue here is service can be a bit slow so if you come when they're busy be prepared to wait. The good news is that they have a lot of great stuff to browse so it's a pleasant place to wait.
google avatar

Dani D.

Yelp
Little Nelly is such a beautiful little store. Like the other reviews say it really is a little market/bakery but I find that appealing. All of the baked goods look like something out of a magazine, they're so beautiful it's tempting to get all. And we did. But we found that the flavor in all was super underwhelming. There seems to be a very underwhelming aspect to all of the food items here. All the baked goods are very fairly priced and if you love minimally seasoned/sweetened foods these are the baked goods for you. Burrito was a little overpriced for a burrito but it was very okay, nothing at all to complain about. You cannot really mess up a breakfast burrito and they really didn't, it was good. There was a 20 min wait for the burrito and we were the only people in store, but they seemed to have some sort of catering event going on and that took up most of the focus. It took them a while to greet us, a while to take our order and a while to prepare. They also do NOT have a coffee menu, you have to ask what is available and what can be made. They have very limited coffee options, so if you come in looking for a fully stocked cafe, you're wrong. I definitely feel this place is worth a visit, the cookies are very good and they have a lot of luxury grocery items to browse.
google avatar

Joseph M.

Yelp
Grabbed a breakfast burrito, biscuit, and dirty chai. The biscuit was outstanding and gets 5 stars all on its own. The burrito was sadly nothing special (though they did have a chef's special version with brisket, pickled veggies and some other tasty additions that I regret not getting), and the dirty chai was neither sweet nor spicy. In fact, all I could taste was the espresso. That said, the store itself is a quick, fun romp if you're into cooking, the people were friendly, and their menu have more than enough items to get me to come back a few more times, so hopefully I'll bump this up to a 4 or 5 in the near future (I'm looking at you, breakfast sandwich and lunch menu)
google avatar

Sasha F.

Yelp
Cute little shop! I even got a book for my toddler. Everyone was super nice. I'd say this is definitely a place to keep in mind when looking for a gift.
google avatar

Kristen H.

Yelp
This small space is packed with so much cute stuff! We ordered sandwiches for take away and picked up a few things from the shop. They have a grab and go case, snacks and sweets, gift items, seasonings, sauces and such. The sandwiches were really great, now we wish we had grabbed a few sweets from their bakery case as well while we were there.
google avatar

Aram B.

Yelp
Best biscuits I've had in my life hands down. The biscuit sandwich is amazing. Good stuff.

Alex B.

Yelp
The most delicious addition to the neighborhood in years . Delicious pastries, breakfast, and sandwiches. The Italian sandwich is by far the best sandwich I've had in Burbank ( Sub King was my favorite before this). Only drawback is no seating, hopefully one day they can grow to have a few outdoor seats
google avatar

Meaghan M.

Yelp
I've never had a bad thing here. And I'd drive well out of my way just for one of their biscuits with butter & jam.
google avatar

Danielle H.

Yelp
Someone mentioned this place to me and had to check it out. I came for breakfast and got the salmon toast and an egg salad from the fridge to try out. The salmon toast was really good! I really enjoyed how the bread was soft and not tough at all.It made eating it really easy. Unlike sometimes, when you get an open faced bagel and you have to tug on it and then it falls apart. The textures were great and I loved the thinly sliced lemon, a great touch. Tried a bite of the egg salad and look forward to putting it on a sandwich. I didn't try any of the bakery items yet but will have to try that next time and maybe the tuna sandwich!
google avatar

Jessika D.

Yelp
Cute place. Coffee is great! Service is okay, not why I keep coming back. I've had their chicken salad sandwich which I enjoyed, but I'm writing because of their biscuit with butter and homemade jam. Best biscuit I've ever had. It's huge by the way, but you won't have a problem eating the whole thing.
google avatar

Melissa G.

Yelp
Oh my gosh.... I am happy I stumbled across Little Nelly on my sandwich search. I had the tuna. My husband had the turkey. We both enjoyed the quality and taste. I am very picky about my tuna and generally won't order one. I was intrigued with the "lemon". I was not disappointed. It will be on the top of my sandwich list. The online ordering is easy peasy. The shop is cute. Lots of cookbooks and speciality items. Some refrigerated / heat and eat items available also.
google avatar

Gayane K.

Yelp
The cutest and yummiest sandwich shop in Burbank. Oh and their desserts - my goodness! Every piece we purchased was a little piece of heaven
google avatar

Tristan J.

Yelp
First time customers. Ordered four items on their Sunday Brunch menu. All four were excellent. They misplaced the ticket of our order and when they found out, we were offered to have our order for free for making us wait a little longer. They also offered free coffee and baked goods while waiting. Although we appreciated the gesture, we declined to have our money refunded. Waiting another five minutes or so is not a big deal and we support local businesses wherever we can. When our order is ready, the owner insisted on giving us baked goods for free. Again, another gesture that we believe is not necessary, because what happened was an honest mistake. In any case, I am sharing these because not only do they have excellent items, but they have excellent customer service as well. Even without the kind gestures, we will go back to try other items in their store.

Yelp
Elegantly cultivated with attention to the details done immaculately. With a labor of love, this little culinary shop displays a lifestyle with French influence and American favorites. There are plenty of interesting sundries, and books to compliment a love for home or event entertaining. The shop is designed to be quite inspiring. From the decor to how they package your order, I am truly impressed. The custom masking tape with their logo really shows a whole lot of attention. For the menu you must check out on your own for it changes. There is no in-dining. Everything is a grab-and-go. Online ordering is a breeze if you wish to jump the line. The baked goods here are excellent. There is a sense of small batch home goodness. This is where some of the attention to details start. On their menu, the sandwiches are also items that shine. The sandwiches are we balanced and excellent artisan breads really highlight a great sandwich. The Quiche is also another delicious item, but is rather a small portion for what you are charged. For breakfast, the breakfast burrito is highlighted. Unfortunately I have had both great and poor examples. Sometimes being a bit dry with overcooked eggs. Also, their salsa could be more spicy and doesn't realy resemble the Pico de Gallo as described. This quaint spot continues to be a favorite even though they may not be opened all week.

Shakeh G.

Yelp
My salmon toast was incredible! Aesthetically gorgeous, and tasted even better. Only downfall is this place does not have a seating area, take out only. You can browse the cute retail area while you wait for your food. I'll be back!

Anan E.

Yelp
I was originally gonna write that this is the best quality breakfast burrito in burbank... but honestly, this is simply the best quality FOOD in the area. When i ate the tortilla, the first word that came to mind was "fresh." This is unlike any tortilla ive had anywhere; literally the best. Then the eggs -- not dry like every other breakfast burrito in town. It is... surprisingly... juicy, but also super soft and fluffy. While the eggs are not dry like elsewhere in town, they are also not runny like you may see in Gordon Ramsay or omurice videos. Never had eggs cooked like this, and it has absolutely set a whole new standard for me. I never knew eggs could be cooked in such a delightful way! They dont skimp out on the bacon and potatoes; everything is proportioned nicely. Ive also had their biscuit sandwich. It's the size of a hamburger. The quality of ingredients and the quality of execution cannot be understated. I wish i knew the right words to do this justice. The food here is absolutely stellar -- so much so, ive eaten here 4 times in the past 2 weeks. I wish their weekend breakfast menu wasn't only limited to the weekend. Majorly recommend and compliments to the chef for what she has here.

Yelp
Most gorgeous shop and best chicken salad sandwich and biscuit I've ever had. Also highly recommend la Parisienne with ham! Such a beautifully curated place you can tell so much thought and effort went into every detail. Already counting down the days to go back! Perfect place for food lovers to shop!

Yelp
Stopped by this hidden gem in Burbank! Great culinary gift ideas and got a leftover Thanksgiving sandwich toasted on artisan bread! Yummy! Pastries looked scrumptious too!
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
They're a bit pricey but the quality is worth it! Their sandwiches have been very tasty, there are so many good food products in store and the store lives in a quaint part of Burbank. The staff is always super friendly and super helpful when it comes to answering questions about their products and food. I'm so glad they opened up near my workplace and hope they're around for many years to come!
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
It doesn't get better than this... We catered our Thanksgiving from Little Nelly and we were completely overwhelmed with how good every dish was! The turkey was absolutely the best Turkey. So moist and delicious. The mashed potatoes were incredibly creamy and wonderful. The cheese platter with exotic delicious cheeses and dates stuffed with goat cheese got our cocktail hour off to the perfect start. The stuffing was great and the children went crazy over the corn bread and divine chocolate chip cookies. Even the cider for the kids and those that wanted non alcoholic drinks were completely happy. We are definitely going to cater every special occasion with the help of Little Nelly.

Sophia S.

Yelp
I love coming to Little Nelly! The brownies are divine, the veggie sandwich is delicious (love the mustard kick) and the vegan breakfast burrito was better than I could have imagined. I bought the brownies for a work event and my co-worker still brings up how good they were. The fact that they are also vegan is just a plus.
google avatar

Yelp
Best coffee and sandwich and pastry offerings I've seen in the area, and one of the most divine little shoppes in all of LA. Extraordinary pastries, huge cook book selection, just a perfect place for gifts for anyone who cares about food. Some zeitgeisty but good products and some totally unique products I haven't seen anywhere else. I agree with some of the other reviewers that seating would be nice and that the shop has a wide variety of offerings, but I don't see why that should wrest any stars away from their deserved 5 stars. The quality of the ingredients in their menu is really amazing. I have no idea why anyone would ever go to Porto's for anything, especially when this special place is right there. It's kindred to Canyon Gourmet in Topanga. Support this small business and enjoy! Some related keywords for searches: home goods, pole caught tuna, made in house, woman run business, desserts, ambiance, yummy, delicious, seasonal, novelty ice creams, lemonade, olive oil, drip coffee, espresso drinks, kitchen supply, cooking supplies, pantry, stocking stuffers, gifts...

Yelp
I seldom write multiple reviews for the same place, but the exceptional customer service at this café merits another shout-out. Each visit here envelops me in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that I simply adore. During my last visit, the owner kindly offered me a sample of their salmon toast, and it was an absolute delight. The toast was perfectly crisped, complementing the rich, buttery salmon enhanced by a subtle hint of lemon zest. The addition of my favorite herb, dill, and a moderate amount of cream cheese achieved a harmonious balance of flavors. The staff's friendliness and warmth added to the experience, making it all the more memorable. I also must mention their selection of Canyon Coffee, one of my top preferences. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for an exceptional culinary and customer service experience. P.S. - Don't miss out on their burrito; it's a must-try!

First time visiting Little Nelly. Very cute little shop. Was hoping to get lunch but it was Sunday and I was told they don't serve lunch on Sundays, only Wednesday thru Saturday. Another customer was surprised to hear that as well. It would be helpful if that was made clear on the website as it is not currently. I will be back for lunch at some point.

Yelp
Beautifully crafted sandwiches and lovely ambience. Plus tons of great cookbooks and gift items. The baked goods are all delicious!

Yelp
Nice hole in the wall gift shop/sandwich shop. Think Olive & Thyme at 1/4 the size. It's strictly takeout, and limited options, but everything is fresh and the baked goods are excellent.

Yelp
Very good food, amazing tuna sandwich. Service can be a little slow even when you order ahead, but quality takes time and I'm not really bothered by that, just letting others know what to expect.

Yelp
Fantastic sandwiches! Probably the best in Burbank! And the store is stunning. The only thing I would warn is that the service, while friendly and helpful, can be slow. Order ahead of time.

Yelp
I can already tell that I will be a regular here. The people are warm and welcoming. Couple that with the aroma of fresh eucalyptus & eye pleasing spreads of both baked goods and merchandise, and you're in for a golden state of mind. I knew the moment I saw that they carry my favorite sardines and tinned oysters that I was going to be back here...soon. "So, what is this place?" you say? Well, it's a cross between cute market, take out eats, and catering. I don't think there's any identity crisis, as an earlier comment suggests. I think they're newly opened and they're doing something different than what we're used to seeing. In fact, if I had to sum it up, it feels like if the Mediterranean diet & life style took on physical form in the shape of a store. The take out food here is simply great. We had the Lemon Caper Tuna Sandwich (I don't even like normal tuna salad, so the fact that I'm telling you that this is probably going to be my usual order should be telling you all you need to know), Farro Salad (good but I think I'd add a protein or sprinkle some lime juice on it if I was to make this my main. It was good as a vegetable packed side salad though), and the coffee cake (at 2pm, it was still moist). I thought the prices were reasonable for the location, too. I'd love to come here for coffee and a pastry, or honestly, I'm looking forward to bringing my partner here, walking over to the park, and having a picnic. See y'all next time!

Yelp
Stopped here by chance when my Burbank flight got delayed... awesome fresh bread on my chicken sandwich and amazing cookie coming from a cookie snob.... Wish I had something like this in my neighborhood in Austin!
