"Backed by the under-the-radar catering outfit Whoa Nelly Catering, I visited a small, sunny cookbook, dry goods, and takeaway shop in Magnolia Park that marks the group’s first public-facing business after more than a dozen years managing private events. The cozy, wood-rich space (designed by Preen) offers a daily menu of pre-made items including breakfast burritos with crumbled bacon, avocado toast, grain bowls, salads, and a variety of sandwiches, plus breads, biscuits, pastries, and cookies and cakes by the slice. I also found curated retail goods and cookbooks (including titles from Molly Baz), pantry items like Graza olive oil, and prepared foods sourced from others — pizzas from La Morra and burritos from Burritos La Palma — all sold alongside its takeaway menu; service runs Wednesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m." - Farley Elliott
