Little Prince Review - Soho - New York - The Infatuation

"Here’s what we can’t understand: How is it possible for someone to invest god knows how much money into opening a restaurant in New York - probably at least a million dollars - plus endless amounts of time and energy and emotional strife...only to end up staffing the place with a bunch of people who are f*cking baffled by the concept of serving food to humans? This was a difficult review to write because we really wanted to love this place. Little Prince is a restaurant in Soho with so much promise, but every time we’ve wanted it to deliver, it’s let us down a little bit. Kind of like your really smart cousin who just can’t kick the weed and sleeps in his car every once in a while. You know he has greatness in him, but he just keeps disappointing you. And it always comes down to discipline. Our meals at Little Prince have been good examples of both those analogies. On our first visit, we showed up for dinner on a Thursday night and had a really nice time eating some classic French bistro food, though we admittedly ordered very simple things and chalked up some of the small inconsistencies to a busy evening and early stage kinks. But then we returned a few weeks later on a quiet weekday night, and some of the true problems with this place shined through. Big problems. First of all, if there is one thing you can’t afford to screw up when you operate a French restaurant, it’s technique. You cannot serve a classic Lyonnaise-style frisée salad with so much vinaigrette that it could also sort of be a soup. Your simple roast chicken can’t be over-salted to the point that it almost tastes like jerky. And, most importantly, you can’t hire a bunch of waiters because they look cool, even though you could very easily convince them that “poulet” is the French word for swimming pool. That sh*t doesn’t work. Especially not in New York, and especially not with Balthazaar a few blocks away making you look bad. Don’t get us wrong - everyone at Little Prince is very, very nice. But you’d have to think they could find a few people that know not to fill a glass of wine to the very top like it’s the last one on earth. We like to drink and all, but we’d prefer not to need a straw. I suppose what we’re getting at is that Little Prince would benefit greatly from a little bit (a lot) of fine tuning. This place has to figure out how to be a consistently good restaurant - from the kitchen to the wait staff -before it becomes a Soho go-to. There are too many other places nearby that offer the same experience, only better. See you at Raoul’s. Food Rundown Tartare de bœuf A nice steak tartare with a quail egg on top. We like the grind and the flavor on this, and the buttery grilled bread is pretty damn good too. Frisée Aux Lardons This, on the other hand, is a perfect example of how the food here can take a left turn. Our frisée salad at Little Prince was so overdressed that the only way to describe it is “wet.” It wouldn’t pass the sniff test in a middle school Home Ec. class, let alone a true French restaurant. Skip it. Foie Gras McMuffin Jesus. So this is an “off the menu,” “only if you’re in the know” special at Little Prince, except that they tell absolutely everyone about it - even Thrillist. Which is pretty much the same as having a secret handshake with your mom. Don’t get us wrong - it’s an awesome little sandwich, and it photographs real nice. But it’s more of a gimmick than anything else. And it sure as hell ain’t the Cronut. Beet Salad A really nice beet salad with some chèvre and grapefruit. This is a failproof order here. French Onion Soup Burger A very good little burger on an English muffin with Emmental cheese and some caramelized onions. I’m not sure it tastes exactly like French onion soup, but it doesn’t need to. It just tastes good. Culotte Steak Frites You can’t really run a place like this and not do a great steak frites, and Little Prince gets it done in that department. This one comes in a Burgundy reduction sauce, and it’s really nice. Get it. Canard a L’orange After the frisée salad incident, we were a little scared to see what they’d do with duck. It seems the more classic French this place gets, the less successful it is. Luckily, this duck was a really nice surprise. Ours was cooked perfectly, and it was simple enough to please anyone. Even people who tend to avoid duck. Poulet Poêlé A pan roasted half-chicken that’s way too salty. This thing is so over-seasoned that it seems like they were afraid that you might taste the chicken. Be confident in your bird and let it be. Lamb Chops On one of our visits, these little lamb chops were a special, and they were awesome. It was a simple preparation of lamb with some kind of reduction sauce on the side. You should order this if you can. Cookies de Jacques Torres Ok, I’m sorry but you can’t fcking put a chocolate cookie that you bought from Jaques Torres on top of a glass of milk with some rum in it, and high five yourself for serving dessert. That’d be like me trying out for Top Chef with by showing off my talents for adding sliced avocado to a Chipotle burrito. D- for effort." - Chris Stang

Lenny’s, a Brooklyn Pizza Institution, Closes After 70 Years - Eater NY

"A woman set fire to a Pride flag hanging from a Manhattan restaurant early on Monday morning in an incident that is being investigated as a possible hate crime, the New York Times reports. The fire took place around 1:35 a.m. at Little Prince in Soho when a white SUV came to an abrupt stop in front of the restaurant, a woman emerged from the passenger side and set fire to the rainbow flag using a handheld lighter before driving off. The French restaurant was closed at the time of the incident and no one was injured; the fire resulted in a temporary evacuation of upstairs apartments, which suffered cracked windows and minor external damage, according to the Times." - Luke Fortney

Google
I had a great recent experience at Little Prince. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy. Our server was kind and the food was so tasty. The Ravioli in an orange brown butter is a must try!

What makes this place different is how the staff treats everyone. Each selection delivers on flavor. Workers here perform excellently. This restaurant has too many excellent qualities to prioritize. I hold Little Prince in special esteem.

Google
Walked by and stopped in without knowing anything about the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the food. I ordered the little gem salad and tuna tartare, both from the appetizer section, as I wasn’t incredibly hungry. The salad was light but flavorful and a good portion size. The tuna tartare was well seasoned but maintained a fresh tuna taste. The chips on the side made for the perfect bite. At around 8pm it started to get quite dark inside due to minimal lighting but made for a more romantic atmosphere if you’re looking to bring a date here.

Went for brunch on Sunday at 1:30 PM. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for catching up with friends. While the service was a bit on the slower side, it was still a really enjoyable experience overall. I’ll definitely be back!

I wanted French for a special occasion, and Little Prince looked adorable from the outside. We arrived early in the evening with a reservation and there was no wait / the hostess and our server were very nice and helpful. As a community hang I can see this place being nice to have, but it’s also a bit run-down and… sparse maybe? The booth was saggy and ripped apart by wear. When our apps came out - marinated artichoke and burrata - they were unappetizing in terms of presentation and taste. It was so bad, we ended up canceling our entrees to go in search of another kitchen. The staff were very understanding! Perhaps if they can update their kitchen to something more appealing and better prepared this place can really sing.

Google
Little Prince is a cozy French bistro in SoHo with a great traditional menu and friendly staff (in cute uniforms with the French colors!). The food is very tasty—the Tuna tartar was a favorite. I really liked that they offered some specials (for dessert) which not a lot of French places do. The cocktails and drinks were also great - they have a really nice bar where you can sit at. The atmosphere is relaxed the only drawback is that it's quite a small place, so it can be tight on space. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy a delicious meal with friends or family and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Google
Friendly service and good atmosphere coupled with disappointing and overpriced food. The French Onion Soup was served in a small bowl, overpriced, and tasted like water so we had to replace it. They also charged us $12 for essentially one can of Diet Coke they poured into three different long glasses with lots of ice (i.e. no refills albeit sitting right at the bar) and it felt like a rip off. The eggplant parmigiana was nice but nothing to write home about. Vibe was good but we will not be back.

Google
Generous portions. Love the Artichoke for starters and the endive salad was so fresh. Mussels were difficult to eat as they had half a shell. Burger was nice, the fries could’ve been crispier they were a bit soggy. Overall, nice place and everyone was very friendly. Good for an early dinner as the vibe was average.

Yelp
Little Prince is always a great spot if you are lucky enough to get a table. Monday is usually a quieter night especially if you arrive at an off hour. The place has remained charming and intimate over the years. If you want to gossip the next table will definitely hear you. Tonight we opted for sitting at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and made a great martini with perfect olives. The menu is on the small side but enough to choose from. We shared the branzino, French onion burger and the ratatouille. My friend preferred the burger and funny enough I liked the fish better. The fries were great, a little more on the done side with just a hint of salt. The ratatouille is prepared cubed style and alittle crunchy. I much rather the ingredients sliced so it's more of a softer medley. Best to make reservations, especially if you are more than 2 people.

Yelp
A cute little French bistro that had a small menu done well. We were blown away with the food that we tried. The burger was the crowd favorite, the salads were also done very well. Chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned well- juicy and crispy outside. The drinks were good, I had the margaritas and it was on the sweeter side which I enjoyed. Rest of my group opted for the mezcal cocktail for a less sweet option and they enjoyed it. Service was quick and friendly. Since the menu is small, a large group can definitely sample a lot more of the menu.

Yelp
Great little French bistro in soho. Service excellent tables all close to each other but cozy. Big window w nice lighting facing the street. The French onion burger is a must. Juicy, super flavorful an absolute must in the menu. The salad was great too with nice fresh romaine and dressing

Yelp
Loved Little Prince!!!!! The ambiance is so intimate and romantic. Daniel is a great server and very attentive. Everyone greeted us with smiles. As for the food- love the steak and frites. I'm getting that again but after I try the burger and mussels. The French onion soup is exactly what I needed that evening with a glass of the cremant!!!!! The tuna tartare I'm not a huge fan of. Aside from that, I'm so happy that I made the decision to eat at Little Prince that evening.

Summer S.

Yelp
I was a bit surprised by the intimate size of the little prince. One of the people I was with genuinely struggled to fit between the tables to sit on the booth side. I believe she is an average size woman. The service was good. We split a bottle of cremant and they kept it on ice for us. The star of the show here is the steak frites. My sister called it "maybe the best steak I've ever had". We ordered a side of pureed potatoes and I much preferred the fries and aioli. The pureed potatoes were bland, but I'm from Kentucky so it could be personal preference. I would definitely go back and recommend this to anyone looking for a good steak.

Yelp
This place is okay. The ambiance is cute, very Soho, but it is cramped and all the food was disappointing. Artichokes: 7/10 These were a bit too sour for me. I also didn't enjoy the aioli, it also tasted sour and maybe a bit off. Also don't understand where the crispy is. Burger: 8/10 The concept is really cool, but the execution was great. For starters, the bun is SO dry. I love burgers and bread and couldn't eat the bun it was so dry. It ruined the burger! The meat with the cheese and onion flavor was delicious though. I just wish the bun soaked up that juice or was different entirely. The fries were also so bland! They needed salt and to not be burned. I love fries and couldn't even finish these! Ratatouille: 5/10 The flavors were fine but this is legitimately not ratatouille. What they served me was a stew of chopped up vegetables, some of which should not be in ratatouille. The French would be upset you called this ratatouille.

Yelp
Came here before a show at the comedy cellar on a very cold night. The food was great, the wine was amazing, the staff was perfect. It is a perfect French bistro in SoHo - exactly what it wants to be

Yelp
I miss vegan version of french soup burger. I miss vegan version of french soup burger. Please please bring it back!

Yelp
Honestly this was one of the best burgers ever. We had a late dinner and stayed for the party vibes and it was super fun. Only complaint is they made it seem like they were giving us a free dessert and it ended up on our bill. Otherwise the service was amazing, very professional staff and super fun vibes

Yelp
The waitress was outstanding, friendly, and considerate. This place is so cute and all the food was amazing. The muscles sauce was chefs kiss delicious. Definitely save the sauce to eat with fries from your entree. The French onion soup burger was sooooo good and flavorful.

Yelp
Great apps and drinks but terrible layout/space. The dining area was super small with very little space per table. Servers were tripping all over the place over people's coats and service overall was just ok. They tried to sit us at the bar but we opted to wait 30 minutes for a table because they had about 10-15 people eating on top of each other at the bar already and it looked like a claustrophobic persons nightmare. French onion soup burger is wayyyyy overrated. My first one came out well done after the server promised "all of our burgers are served medium" without me even having to order a temperature. After I sent it back to get a more edible cook. It showed up the second time without any onions making it I guess just a French burger? The server brought some carmelized onions on the side but Wayne (the manager) was great. The steak was decent great cook/temperature but zero seasoning. All of the fries were relatively oily. We opted to skip dessert and grab something on our way home. Kind of a bust for what we thought was going to be a great birthday dinner.

Yelp
Something changed. In NYC 5-6 times a year and always stay in SoHo. Enjoy a good steak frites and SoHo has several of the best in all of NYC (Raoul's, Balthazar, Minetta Tavern). Little Prince used to be a "hidden gem" as it's way at the end of Prince Street. It's cozy and romantic (or, used to be). My last time there in December, 2024 was dissappointing. The food was nowhere as good as it used to be and the place has gotten very loud. Not because of the people, because of the music! Why they feel the music has to be that loud at a cozy restaurant is beyond my thinking. Never used to be that way. If they're trying to appeal to a hipper crowd that's fine and good luck. I won't be returning.
google avatar

Yelp
We had a reservation. It was honored. The wait staff was pretty regular. Nothing exceptional. The restaurant is small on the inside. Not a lot of seating but it made it more intimate. Not a lot of food options which is not a bad thing because it gives it potential to make the food better. Started out with the spicy margarita & it was SPICY! Like you tasted the flavor & then the spice. That was a good 4/5. The glass of wine was really sweet & dry & at the same time. Which I don't mind. Food...I was going to get the ratatouille but they combine it ??? Idk why it's not just plated like the movie...the steak frites was the BEST thing on the menu. Hands down. Nice & juicy & tender: the fries were so good with the sauce options. The salmon & spinach...well...the crunch on the salmon was heavenly. It could have used more seasoning but once again that's the Louisiana in me. It was a lot of spinach on the side & could've used some seasoning. More than salt & pepper. The mashed potatoes were good! Second best to the fries.

Yelp
I met my friend here for a quick drink to talk music and watches :) A charming Parisian bistro. Little Prince is located at 199 Prince Street in SoHo (between Sullivan St. and MacDougal St.) Food: 10/10 * Caprese- 9/0 Drinks: 10/10 * Purple Rain- hendricks. a bramble fit for a prince * CHARLES DE CASANOVE BRUT Service: 5/10 The service was good but I felt a bit of snobbiness. They treated my friend and I well. But I experienced them being very snobby to the man that was dressed in sweat pants and a t-shirt. Tip: Treat every being equally.... Kindness, pass it on... Ambiance: 5/ 10 great atmosphere but very loud...

Yelp
Went here with a friend for an impromptu brunch. We made reservations online and we were quickly seated. We asked to sit near the window (just better for food pics). Such a cute establishment. My friend and I ordered / shared the French Toast (with orange and chantily cream) as well as the French Onion Soup Burger (gruyère, caramelized onions, dijon, hand-cut fries, garlic aioli). I also ordered a side of the brussels sprouts for myself (best decision ever). The wait to actually get the food was LONG. This was the primary reason why I had to deduct the 1 star. The wait was absurdly long - though we had put in our orders when we arrived. The service was good and our waiter was very attentive. When our food arrived, they were all delicious! I have to admit my favorite were my brussels and the French onion soup burger. So amazingly flavorful and would definitely recommend ordering this if you're here!
google avatar

Chin T.

Yelp
The place was packed! Reservations recommended however we were able to get a seat when we walked in on a Friday night. French Onion Soup Burger was delicious! Would definitely order the burger again. The steak frites was mediocre. It seems a bit dry, they didn't asked us how we wanted the steak. The burger made up for it. The restaurant is small and cozy, not really big
google avatar

Suz P.

Yelp
Food was average. Service also average at best. Ambiance is nice but can be loud. I should have listened to the last person who made a review because unfortunately they were right on... I expected MORE and got LESS...
google avatar

Yelp
Is the French Onion Soup Burger at Little Prince the best burger in New York City? There's really only one way to find out: You should go here and try it. Yeah, they've got a great menu. Everything on it is pretty spectacular, from the Bistro Chicken to the Roasted Wild Salmon. The bar... wow. Great cocktails and wine selections, too. But back to that burger... It's changed over the years. And it's better than ever! The smash patties would be delicious on their own, but with the added delicate flavors of their French onion soup, it takes things to another level. Add in a service team that knows how to make you feel welcome (and have great wine pairing suggestions) in a comfortable dining room that reminds you of your favorite arrondissement... and you've got a brilliant confluence for what's arguably the best burger in New York.

Bee M.

Yelp
Bad news LOUD LOUD LOUD and inconsiderate. Staff seemed insincere when talked to them about lowering their music. Actually can't review food 'cause I have no intention of eating there.

Mariana B.

Yelp
Came here a few days ago on a lovely summer-like night! It's a very cute but small place! Nothing on the cocktail menu stood out so we passed on the drinks. The food was very good- the French onion soup is a must! It wasn't too heavy and the cheese wasn't insanely overwhelming- and the broth had a really good taste. Then we shared the ratatouille with some fries- it was all very good. Another highlight though was the creme brûlée- highly recommend! Only critique is it gets a bit loud and they forgot my friend's coffee but it wasn't a big deal as they didn't charge it.
google avatar

Yelp
Walking into the Little Price there's a really nice vibe. The bar is beautiful and is well stocked with a wide selection. The wine list also offers a nice section. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, and offered several recommendations. We were 6 people and so had a nice variety of the menu options. The menu is a bit limited, but there's something for a variety of pallates. Several of us choice the onion soup which was nicely presented, isn't too big, and is really flavorful. The ratatouille was satisfying. The veges were fresh and the flavoring will balanced. The trout was also very nicely prepared and flavored. The dude was a bit rich. The onion soup burger was a big disappointment. We read so many really great reviews, but it didn't measure up. The steak was excellent. It was cooked to perfection and nicely flavored. The potato galette was small but tasty. There were only 2 dessert offerings and a very limited selection of coffee and so we decided to go elsewhere to complete our meal. It was a nice dinner, but with such a wide selection of restaurants in SoHo we likely won't be returning soon.

Yelp
Cute little restaurant in wv with wonderful aesthetic. Service was great and quick. Got the french onion soup burger, soup, burrata, chocolate tart, nice salad, and wine/tea. Food was definitely amazing and recommend. Overall cute venue and good food.

Yelp
Went for my friend's birthday dinner. Loved the burger and steak frites. It's a cute restaurant but more on the small side so it gets packed really easily. Loved their martinis also. One downside is that the wait staff is so busy and will neglect your table once it gets crowded.
google avatar

Sharm S.

Yelp
We love this little piece of Paris right in Soho. Being a vegetarian I was very happy to find that their special French onion burger was available in a vegan option. The street is very cute and quaint and there is indoor and outdoor dining available. The menu is small but perfect. Cocktails are pretty and strong. Staff was very helpful. My companion enjoyed the lamb very much. Servings were large so we had a lot to take home as well. Enjoy!
google avatar

Justin A.

Yelp
Wow Wow Wow! Let me start off by saying that I'm not a fan of French food but this spot, has converted me. So, yesterday my friends and I decided to go to Little Prince to try out the burger, and to also experience the late night vibe that Little Prince has to offer. I'll keep it short, the burger absolutely blew me away. Dare I say, this even gives Au Cheval a run for it's money and I can't shut up enough about how much I enjoy the burger at Au Cheval. We also got the French onion soup, and Butter lettuce which was probably the best French Onion Soup I've ever had. Highly Recommend anyone to go here, and to absolutely order the Burger.

Yelp
To be specific just in case management would take my review to improve the quality of service. I've been there on 4/18 party of 2. ---For service. I feel rushed by waitress. We barely look at the menu and she want to take the order right away. I don't understand the concept that we have to order the whole meals at the same time while there's no other guest in dining room. Waitress didn't even ask for any allergy or dietary restriction. I feel like this should be concerned, after that, we order burger and again server not even ask how would i like my burger cook. For the best parts of her job is she bring bag hanger for my friend shoulder bag and refill the water. ---For cocktail. Ok i know it's SOHO area. $18 is resonable for this area but c'mon make some effort to it, look at the picture. Do you think it worth $18 no garnish or anything. Just plain spirit and juice really? ---For Food. Ok this part is the savoir for not getting 1 star. Cheers to chef and BOH. Carprese is okay. Remind me of some good italian restaurant around. (Oh wait i believe it's french restaurant here) french onion soup, kind of somwhere between meh and ok. It does taste good but the consistency of soup is questionable. I feel like the cheese on top is a bit overcooked to my taste. Tuna tartare goddd this one is really good. Totally recommend to anyone. Last one. Burger ok this is a little make me surprise since server never ask me how would i like it cook, but chef make it perfect. Probably he is a divind oracle. TLDR. This restaurant is good for someone who doesn't care about overprice cocktail. Over price service.

Julia G.

Yelp
If I could give less than 1 star I would. after waiting nearly 45 minutes for salads, our food finally arrived and two of the three chickens on top of the salad were raw. We asked them to cook it more and when they brought it out the chicken was still not cooked through. When we asked to fire it again they brought the chef out who was actually nice but the waitress was rude and insisted to the manager that the chicken wasnt raw. The chicken came out again for a third time - still raw. This photo is from the THIRD time it got brought to us. We also ordered fries which came out 20 minutes after the salads. Check came and they didn't take care of one thing including the raw chicken. Used to be a favorite place of mine before new mgmt took over - will never be returning.

Yelp
Came for brunch/lunch. Got the spritz 75 and rue paul - the rue paul (which is essentially a raspberry marg) was delicious. I got the french onion soup burger and my friend got the salad nicoise. Burger was good but I wouldn't necessarily come again for it.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute Soho bar and restaurant with very good dirty martinis! Honestly the side of French fries blew me away, they were covered in some type of herb that was addictive when dipped into their aioli! I also ordered the tuna tartar, which tasted pretty basic. Nothing about it was special. But overall attentive service at a place that was lively and yet intimate at the same time! Perfect for a date night.
google avatar

Nicole K.

Yelp
Incredible food and incredible experience. Our server Chris was very kind and friendly and made great recommendations. The annabel salad to start is a MUST - not something I'd ever choose myself, but it was delicious. I have no idea what they do to the burger, but it was easily the best burger I've ever had. The salmon was very good, the morel mushrooms and asparagus were so tasty. The only thing that didn't stand out was the potato galette, which was still good. Crispy potato slices topped with sour cream and green onion. Loved it!

Yelp
One of my favorite spots I have been to this year, came for a great Saturday night dinner. I ordered the steak frites and the French onion soup. The French onion soup had a hefty amount of cheese for the crust which went great with the ultra carmelized onion soup base. The steak was ordered medium and salted perfectly. Will definitely be back
google avatar

Carly W.

Yelp
The Ru Paul is one of my fav cocktails in SoHo. Highly recommend the burger and steak frites as well.
google avatar

Margret S.

Yelp
If you can snag one of the two tables outside, go for it! Even though it's beside the street, the corner is quiet. It's just lovely and relaxing getting fresh air and watching people walk by while enjoying your food. The french onion soup burger is the probably the best burger I've had. I can eat this for days
google avatar

Yelp
This is a very fun spot in the city with great food, which is a rare combination. I came for a birthday party and had low expectations for the food as most restaurants with a fun ambiance do not also deliver on the food. Little prince, however, had exceptional food. All of the appetizers were delicious and the steak was fantastic. It was truly cooked medium rare, too and not borderline medium as often happens. Unfortunately, I thought the service was below average and thought the drinks were horrendous, thus I am giving 4 stars.
google avatar

Cindy Z.

Yelp
Went on a date here, and let me just say it's definitely got a fancy and calm vibe. It's not a huge restaurant, but it's very cozy. The food was absolutely delicious. This is probably the best steak I've ever had. The portion was large too! The salmon was honestly mediocre and small, but the steak made up for it. Service was good! I think the cherry on top was the gold card holder:))

Ben S.

Yelp
We loved our experience at Little Prince! The only reason I can't give it a 5 star rating was because of some slower service and also very tight quarters. However, the servers were very kind and helpful as we made food and drink decisions. Between our group we shared the new Ravioli starter which was fantastic. Two of us had the French Onion Soup Burger and loved it, and one of us had the Chicken with a side of brussels sprouts-- both were amazing. Chocolate flour-less cake was pretty good at the end too. Not 5 star worthy, but would be 4.5 if I could! Definitely would recommend to anyone coming to or living in New York!

Yelp
Terrible customer service. Booked a reservation for a party of 5 in advanced with family in town. Scammed customers by booking a "Dining Room" reservation, show up and tell us, "Sorry we only could seat you at the bar". Terrible reservation system and no care for its customers. Do better.

Yelp
Just finished dinner here. Everything was fantastic. David and his staff keep things simple and tight. I had the mussels and the French onion soup burger. The mussels have a French/Vietnamese flair. They're light and have a nice spice to them that I really enjoyed. The burger was 2 smash pattys which I always prefer. The melted cheese and caramelized onions melted into the burger. It was gone in 5 minutes. Small, intimate, welcome environment great for first dates, food with friends, brunch, or just cocktails at the bar.

Yelp
An ADORABLE French restaurant in Soho. We went early on a Wednesday evening and were able to be seated without a reservation. The staff are very friendly and kind. Food, drinks, and atmosphere were on point.

Yelp
Upsetting. We flew in from California, specifically made a reservation here for my sister's birthday. We arrived 15min early and the host/doorman very dry (did not greet us) said our reservation was canceled. Basically, gave us a stare and dismissed us.

Yelp
We had a decent brunch here post nye activities. Nothing here really blew me away unfortunately. The french onion soup was by far the best thing we had. We also got the breakfast sampler plate and french onion burger. The breakfast was fine, eggs cooked well, potatoes cold and soggy and bacon just okay. The french onion burger was burnt. I get wanting to put a char on a burger but not to the point where large amounts of bitterness come out. The garlic aoli and fries were good. The service was good

Yelp
This was a cute little spot. Music was great and it was packed when we went. Food was yummy and good portions. Would come back again for a date night!

Yelp
French onion soup was phenomenal! 18 dollars is quite pricey for a small bowl of soup but it did not disappoint. The poached egg on the ratatouille was underdone but the vegetables were delicious. The server was also very helpful and recommended a delicious red wine that paired perfectly with the soup. Really good spot but pricey. Atmosphere was cute but really loud.

Yelp
Jay was the best!!! We were visiting from Miami and Los Angeles and we had the time of our lives. Jay was so considerate of us when we came for dinner and he was extremely attentive. We wouldn't have had such a great time without him. The party at night was even better. The dj and jay made it spectacular. Thank you so much! Will definitely recommend friends and the next time we come we will come back. We absolutely loved it!

Yelp
First time trying French cuisine and decided to give this place a shot and I was truly amazed. It was so welcoming and loved the open concept and lighting. The host sat us down at the table of our preference. Place had like modern vibe to it . Our waiter recommended couple things and we actually went with his choice . Food was really good , especially the French Onion Soup. It was so flavorful. Also they have many options for vegan and vegetarians. I actually saw the IMPOSSIBLE burger on the menu as well. They had a lot of interesting things on the menu can't remember from on top of my head. But I left with a happy face !! Ambience- 10/10 Service - 10/10 WiFi- Not Sure Happy Hour- Not Sure Parking - Good Luck

Yelp
Found this place by mistake or on social media. Love the vibe and the crowd. The food was good and it will definitely have me coming back for more! Their streak was worth it! Suggest getting it medium rare (due to its age).. the menu is limited but all good options! See you guys again soon!!

Yelp
Very easygoing and laid back vibe, if French people were ever either of those things, more people would visit Paris. But just like the magic of France, this little place strives to provide excellent food in a tiny NYC space. Exceptional service and perfect plated, elegant, and flavorful dishes arrive along with cocktails to create a special dining experience.

Yelp
We started off with the burrata which was absolutely phenomenal! Although I was a little disappointed when it was not served with any bread. I ordered the chicken, and my two friends ordered the tuna tartar and the steak frites. The chicken came topped with crisp butter lettuce and was swimming in a delicious green sauce. My only complaint about the chicken was the skin was extremely fatty, so I had to peel it off. The fries were cooked perfectly, not too oily and not too thick. The ambiance was great in the restaurant, but the tables were spaced extremely close together and it was kind of awkward getting in and out of our chairs.

Yelp
Amazing! From the delicious food to the great vibes this place is one of my new NYC favorites. I would highly recommend making a reservation. We showed up without a reservation and all they were fully committed for the entire evening however there were some seats at the bar so we had dinner there. The bartenders were so sweet and made some amazing drinks for us. I would highly recommend the Rue Paul and the Spritz. We had the mussels and the French onion soup to start, both delicious. Some of the best mussels I've ever had. We finished with the steak frites and the French onion soup burger. The steak was perfectly cooked and so tender and flavorful. The frites were crispy and perfectly cooked as well. The real star however was the French onion soup burger. One of my favorite burgers I've ever had now. I will definitely return just for the burger.
