Seasonal British & French fare, great burgers, intimate atmosphere
"Little Social has a clubby, comforting feel and a smart, stylish look, with on-trend copper, dark wood, and duck egg blue upholstery ensuring it fits in perfectly with its Mayfair surroundings. The seasonal British menu offers something for everyone, and its creative modern dishes are full of flavour." - Michelin Inspector
"If making a big song and dance is your kind of thing - you know, some theatre, some napkin folding, some unexpected snacks - then you’ll enjoy Pollen Street Social. This is a fine dining restaurant in one of the most casual senses of the term. Although there are many courses, and many people seemingly monitoring your every breath, the food in this Mayfair spot is consistently tasty, and the atmosphere surprisingly, well, atmospheric." - jake missing, heidi lauth beasley
"If you’re spending the day somewhere that has ‘Royal’ in the name, then it’s only right that you treat yourself accordingly when it comes to eating before or afterwards. Although Pollen Street Social is a fine dining restaurant, it’s not of the overly fancy-Dan variety. In fact, their £40 set lunch menu is incredible value for the quality (and amount) of food you get. Just remember after leaving: you’re not actually royalty." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing
"Pollen Street Social is a classic fine dining restaurant in that it does all the things that other ones do. Things like introducing food as if you’re meant to curtsy to it, or sticking half of Columbia Road on your lunch. What isn’t classic fine dining about it is the relaxed atmosphere, and the excellent, under £40 set lunch. This is described as a three course meal but there are many theatrical parts in between, a bit like the Oscar ceremony, or dinner with your extended family. Only all these extras are edible." - jake missing
"This Soho institution is offering £10 off their three-course menu throughout September. The £25 deal will be available for lunch Tuesday through Saturday and for early-bird diners (6 to 6.30pm) Tuesday to Friday." - oliver feldman, rianne shlebak
