"It’s been a long time in the making, but southern Richardson’s Lockwood Distilling Co. is just about ready to open. The Dallas Observer reports that distillery/restaurant will debut by the end of this month at 506 Lockwood Drive (the permits are in process right now). With a sleek look incorporating exposed brick, black and white decor, and rustic wood, Lockwood Distilling Co. bills itself as a micro distillery. The plan is to start out making rum (including rum cocktails) then continue expanding with brandy, whiskey, gin, and even beer. “We’re a neighborhood distillery and restaurant,” owner Evan Batts told the Observer. He and his wife Sally worked with Dallas chef Justin Box to whip up a menu of comfort food that includes hearty sandwiches like stacked bologna and a tuna melt covered with melty cheese. Meanwhile, Plano Magazine reported this summer that desserts would bring in local businesses (like ice cream from Sweet Firefly and popsicles from Pop Star). Stay tuned for Lockwood Distilling Co.’s opening date." - Adele Chapin

Stopped here on the way to a wedding reception to grab a pre-drink and it was perfect. The vibes and space are well thought of to accommodate different crowds. From sitting outdoor to hug tables and chair and regular dinning. We sat at the bar and they were pretty busy., this was a Saturday evening. Still we got greeted and welcomed and served water in a timely manner. The bartender told us about their menu and answered some questions we had about their Menu. In our opinion the cocktails were a tad bit too sweet but good. They have a big Menu to chose from. In this occasion we only had a drink but will definitely return to try out their food. We also enjoyed the live Music 🎶👌

My only issue was the COMEBACK CRACKERS on the GRAZING BOARD. They literally obliterated the flavor of anything and everything on the board. A great cheese board will have neutral crackers that do not take away from the meat, cheese and components of the charcuterie board. All of the other ingredients and items fantastic sans the cracker. The wait staff and atmosphere are top notch and I will definitely be back. My daughter and I sampled a variety of specialty items on the drink menu and while some didn’t suit our preferences, the quality and value was superb.

I was craving something warm and boozy so my friend and I decided to check this place out and had the best time! This distillery and restaurant was super clean and had such a comfortable family atmosphere and a nice sized patio. I especially loved the live music being played on the patio. The manager Tony was so nice and welcoming and gave us a complete run down of the distillery, cocktails and the stories behind them, which made the experience that much better. Every cocktail we tried was spectacular ! My friend started with the Rosemary Lavendar Gimlet and I had the seasonal Gingerbread Hot Toddy which was SOOOO good! We a tried the Lockwood Sazerac, Black Currant Hibiscus Froze, and the Little Red Corvette . As a person who typically doesn’t order frozen drinks the Little Red Corvette was definitely one of the best frozen drinks I’ve ever had, it had such a unique and balanced taste and it was not overbearingly sweet. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, they’ve also got great food! I enjoyed the Vegan Bahn and tater tots and my friend enjoyed the Dirty South Tots and Tomato Basil Soup! Everything was delicious! It’s safe to say we LOVED IT and had such an amazing time. We will definitely be back sooner rather than later!!

Had an amazing time at Lockwood Distillery celebrating my birthday. The tour was fun, informative, and well worth the $30. The samples (4) were great, and it was clear that a lot of passion goes into their craft. Our guide, Big Tony was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Ask him about the Angry Bee and their Cinnamon rum. The food? Fantastic. The dirty tots were crispy and flavorful, and my burger was delicious. Loved the Texas-raised beef—seasoned just right and juicy. It’s refreshing to visit a spot that values quality ingredients and great service. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was lively, and the drinks were top-notch. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for a great night out. Can’t wait to return! Recommend the BTE and anything with their bourbon creams.

This place is awesome. Stopped in on a Saturday evening for the first time. The drinks were well made & delicious! I got the Bees Knees and Cool as a Cucumber. Both very refreshing with just enough of a kick. The price was right on the spot for the quality of the drink. Problem with a lot of places is they'll cheap out on the alcohol or water it down. Lockwood gives you your money's worth, enjoyed it a lot! And the food was great too. Had the chicken tenders which came with tater tots and mac & cheese. All of it, really really good. Staff was very attentive and friendly too. Our waitress made sure to check in often and did a very good job! Overall a great time at Lakewood and looking forward to going back soon :)

Google
came here for the first time on a friday night and left feeling like i was a restaurant regular. the service was phenomenal! the bartender, gigi (i believe that was their name) was so helpful in deciding what to order and made fantastic drinks. truly a delightful person to have behind the bar! everyone here was so friendly from the staff to the other restauranteurs. the live music was a nice touch! i ordered the deviled eggs and will be back just for those! along with a grilled chicken ceaser salad. drinks ordered: bee’s knees and the “cause of the month” drink which was a grapefruit base. all very good and i will definitely be returning!

I went here for happy hour, which ended at 6. I believe the apps and drinks are 50% off during that time. The shareables were a very good portion and the customer service was great. They also had live music

Google
Lockwood Distillery is truly a Dallas/ Richardson gem! These whiskies are some of the most delicious and well crafted whiskies I have tried. Absolutely impressive whiskey quality. And on top of that you get delicious food. The staff were so nice and friendly too, Alexis made our visit to the distillery super fun and because of her we will go back. Thank you.

Yelp
Really enjoyed our weekend lunch here. First off, the staff is amazing - super friendly, nice and responsive. The food was also delectable though! The chicken tender dinner is enough to share for two - it comes with four huge tenders which are essentially the size of chicken breasts. The tenders are very lightly battered and well seasoned. The dinner comes with an ample cup of perfectly fried tator tots as well as gouda mac and cheese. We substituted the mac 'n cheese for the house salad though which was really nice - generous with the chunks of goat cheese, with sliced almonds and romaine lettuce leaves. My partner really enjoyed the burger, which is served either pink or no pink. The buns are beautifully seeded with black and regular sesame seeds, and they actually hold up throughout the meal, instead of disintegrating like other buns. There's so much we want to try out here on the menu, so we will definitely be back!

Yelp
This distillery has a lot of fun things going on. They have an easy parking lot with plenty of parking. You can host events in their back brewing area. They have live music from time to time which is a great scene. I really liked that they had a bologna on their menu and tons of eclectic items on their menu& Their espresso martini was tasty.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try out this distillery for years, as I have heard so many great things about the food!!! I have had their vodka and rum in prior years and new they were a great brand, so I just knew hearing of all the good food, that it was a must to and visit! I came in town to celebrate Father's Day, so this was the time now to try, as our family loves trying out locally owned, and Texas grown places! Reservations were easy to make through the Resy app, and easy to update as well. We had a change in headcount and called morning of and they were super helpful to update the change for us. We arrived and it's nestled away into Richardson, not too far off the beaten path, but feels like it. When you walk in, we were immediately greeted by some smiling hosts that whisked us right away to our table. On our way, we saw the gorgeous bar, outfitted in Lockwood deco/bottles!!! We were sat in front of some of the big distillers and facing into one of the tasting rooms as well, as they do tours here! We were greeted by our fabulous waiter Katie, who was just awesome! She held her own with our table, filling waters throughout the course of our dining experience, and I must say, the water is 10 out of 10 because they distill it also. I think they need to bottle that up and sell it as well!!! We ordered a few rounds of appetizers, the deviled eggs, pork rinds and truffle tots! Everything was delicious, the eggs (top notch!!!), I love anything truffle, so that was definitely a win win. We all ordered a variety of entrees and drinks throughout our stay, and nothing came out short of perfection. Every drink was well thought out and perfect to taste, just as well as the food. Everything was hot and fresh and you knew it was good when you could get the Tillman's to be quiet!! Hah! IYKYK!! Anywho, my parents have already gone back for another visit since, so I'd say this was a way to represent TX with good food, drinks, and Katie, our amazing server!

Yelp
Good, well-priced cocktails with solid food options. The space is right off I-75 so an easy spot for folks to meet up. There is a large patio and plenty of indoor seating. Service was great. We had two toddlers with us and we started out on the patio and ended up indoors when it got a little too warm. There was live music on a Friday evening and the artist was playing all the 90s jams. I wanted to taste their spirits clean so I got the sampler. Vodka is a little astringent (perfectly fine in a cocktail), hibiscus vodka tempers the taste of the original vodka, gin (I really like the gin, not too juniper forward) and bourbon cream (basically, dessert). All the cocktails I had were good, but my fave was probably the Turbo-tini. Their gin is great in a gin and tonic. The Richardson location has Happy hour M-F 3-6 and includes half-priced signature cocktails. Great deal!

Yelp
Went here for a pop up event to make clay earrings. It is well lit, cozy & great atmosphere. The wait staff are friendly, & very prompt! The drinks were amazing! I will be back to try their food menu. And, perhaps their beer too. See you next time Lockwood!

Yelp
The Lockwood District in Richardson is off Hwy 75 and Belt Line. There are several businesses tucked away near the water tower. Lockwood Distillery is one of the first that helped revitalize and bring life to this area. You can order a variety of liquor flights that allow you to sample flavors before committing to buying an entire bottle if you choose. One of my friends sampled four different shots of bourbon while another did one that included vodka, rum, and gin. I really enjoyed the bourbon cream which reminded me of Bailey's Irish Cream. Also, the light pink hibiscus vodka was pretty in appearance and slightly sweet in taste. In addition to distilling a variety of hard liquor, Lockwood Distillery operates as a restaurant and bar. There is a selection of cocktails and a lot of sandwich choices on the menu. I had the turkey sandwich this time, and it had this lovely layer of cranberry chutney on it. I also ordered a side of tater tots that came with a simple chili sauce. It was nice to be able to pop a tot after swigging a shot. There is an inside and outside seating area. Large groups or intimate gatherings can all be accommodated. The outside patio is covered and extensive so a variety of groups could coexist in this space at the same time. We were let in on a little secret. Lockwood Distillery will be opening another location on the east side of 75 soon. The new facility will be even larger and allow them to do the majority of their liquor production there while their current space can be used more as the popular hangout it has become.

Yelp
We tried this place for lunch recently and had a great experience. There is plenty of seating inside and on the patio. The staff were friendly. The food and drink menu is large. We tried the deviled eggs, chicken sandwich and the bacon burger. All had great flavor. The portion sizes were excellent for the price. I tried the aged flight which was a great way to try multiple products. Would love to come back for a tasting tour.

Yelp
I love Lockwood! I've been a handful of times and I enjoy myself each and every time. The drinks are awesome, they have decent food and the staff is always so friendly! You can tell they enjoy the atmosphere. They have a cocktail for everyone and I love that their staff and bartenders are knowledgeable of the menu! My favorite is the bourbon cream - I buy a bottle every time I go to take home and make espresso martinis!

Beryl D.

Yelp
Came here to unwind after a long work week. I got a Muffuletta and Truffle Shuffle Tots to eat and the frozen red Cadillac drink. They were good. They were a little busy so it took a long time for me to be greeted and served, but the server was really nice and helpful.

Emily F.

Yelp
According to the bartender, they opened a couple weeks ago, and I'm so glad they did! How to flight that included their hibiscus vodka, vanilla rum, chocolate bourbon cream (which tastes like boozy brownie batter), and honeysuckle vodka. She also told about 2 of her favorite cocktails: the Lockwood 76 and the Cuba Libre with vanilla rum. Both were delicious! Bought bottles of our favorites, and our bartender gave us free stickers. Loved the artwork, location, prices, and proximity to downtown McKinney. A must-try!

Nick M.

Yelp
I know so many people that rave about this place. We had very friendly service, and it seems like a total vibe for the locals here. I'm not sure why so many of the dishes come with tater tots, but I also couldn't stop eating them, so they must know what they're doing! I would say the food was just OK... and to be honest, the drinks were fine. They read sweet and weren't very strong. For a place that is a distillery, I wanted to actually feel like I was tasting something interesting! Honestly, they have such a huge menu that I'm sure my favorite bite and my favorite drink are here. I just haven't found them yet.

Yelp
This review is for the NYE Event only: The NYE Dinner was a lovely concept and I can't wait to see them mature their events into more social concepts. The dinner was a three course $75 prix fixee with some options. They brought in a chef who infused bourbon in the main course. Nice concept again for a meal. It was missing a drink pairing however. The server sat us and served us with some bubbles as to be expected for a NYE event. We each ordered (and paid extra) for a creative and superb cocktail. Lockwood has excellent craft liquor and their mixology is on point. Our first course was a highly creative cauliflower bisque with chili lime marshmallow. We loved it. The mallow melted into the soup for a curious flavor we adored. Our second course was short rib with rutabaga veg puree. There was a strong vein of vanilla in the veg puree and a sweetness in the whip. Dessert was a cherry chocolate bread pudding. It was nice. Overall we enjoyed the event. For next iterations we recommend including the bourbon/vodka pairing which is what we were expecting and a little disappointed did not accompany the meal. Also consider how to make the event more social such as group seating for meeting new people. We are huge fans of Lockwood Distillery and HIGHLY recommend y'all attend any event they put on!!

Yelp
McKinney location was great went in after the parade and food was amazingggggg it's down the road from my job so excited to try more. We split the grading board which was 5/5 and the chicken tenders were SO GOOD

Yelp
One of staples and joys of Richardson! I've heard many good things about Lockwood before I took my now wife there on a date when we were engaged. I can attest that Lockwood deserves all the compliments and more! My wife and I had a great time at Lockwood. The food was amazing! The Truffle Tater Tots are the one of the best appetizers in Richardson! The spicy chicken sandwich and the jive turkey sandwich were both delightfully savory and made to be great sandwiches. It had a stellar layout both inside and outside - even though we sat inside, I would love to come back and try the seating outside. The drinks were uniquely fantastic! We ordered the Lockwood 76 and another drink with pineapple rum (which I remembered the name ‍)! Lockwood is great for dates, group outings, and bringing family visiting from out of town! We definitely want to come back to check out more of what they have offer. My wife's thoughts on Lockwood are below: "My husband took me on a date here just before we got married. We enjoyed two amazing cocktails the Lockwood 76 made with the hibiscus vodka and the other with the pineapple rum! We also ordered lunch. He ordered the chicken sandwich and I ordered the jive Turkey sandwich. They were both fantastic! The food quality is great. We also ordered a side of truffle tater tots which was a delicious addition to our meal! We will definitely be back this year for more dates!"

Troy K.

Yelp
Nice place, way too loud. We had the southern tots, monica's crawfish and a house burger. Tots were pretty good, but overcooked. The pasta was great. The burger was dry as a bone and after commenting on it to our server, she seemed to pretty much disappear (later said she thought I was joking). There seemed to be a dozen workers running around, but only one waiter? Anyway, it was enough to get me angry and I think it's the first time I tipped less than recommended in a long long time. She even took the burger off the bill, but it was way too late for me and she was definitely unhappy with me by then. I still say the place is worth a try, but I probably won't be going back.

Callie J.

Yelp
We tried this place on a Monday for half price draft drinks. It was a little quieter and more casual than we expected, so think legit brewery, even tho it's wine and spirits instead of beer. We ordered the pimento cheese tots, soo good. Definitely enough to split between 4-5 people. Also ordered the cheese board, easily shareable between 4-5 people also. The burger looked really good! We tried several drinks. Everything on the drink menu sounded good. Plenty of cocktail options. The draft OF is really good, but they said their other bourbon is better. The jalapeño hibiscus vodka, don't get the infused if you don't like spicy. I loved it but the girls weren't huge fans, it IS spicy. Bonus...this place does flights of their own bourbon and vodkas, looks like fun and reasonably priced, IMO! The waiter was great. Recommended drinks and food and even gave us a sample of some of their spirits.

Yelp
Distilleries seem to be popping up everywhere. But Lockwood Distilling Co. sets themselves apart with funky vibes, creative atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. My friend was raving about this distillery, so I had to check it out when I was there for the golf tournament. The owners definitely have a unique style, as can be witnessed through the many stylized paintings that adorn the walls; Dolly Parton, Patrick Swayze, Notorious B.I.G. to name a few. And the music was as varied and enjoyable as the artwork. Creating a vibe that made you want to waste the day away just hanging out with great friends. Even though the distillery seemed relatively small, the bottles went on for miles. Bourbon, vodka, whiskey, gin, and rum were all on full display. One of their famous staples is the Hibiscus Vodka and the lemonade they make with it, using fresh basil. Another surprise home run was the Bourbon Cream; smooth, flavorful, and just the right punch for any cool night. Dusty was our bartender, mixing up some playfully named, tasty concoctions. He even shared some of his favorite recipes for the drinks and food to pair them with. I had such a good time, I ended up buying a bottle of the hibiscus vodka, bourbon creme, and a T-shirt like the one Dusty was wearing in the pictures. And they were all perfect. I haven't been to any of the other locations, but if they're all like this, you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't go visit. I'll be back in May. Hope to see you there...

Beth W.

Yelp
We loved the idea of a distillery that served food and we found it was a great pairing. While we typically visit microbreweries, we're enjoying the ability to check out Texas distilleries. This is one we'll go back to again I went with the Richardson Mule with Hibiscus flavored vodka. It was delicious! My husband went with the Lockwood Flight featuring vodkas, gin, and a bourbon. It was a great way to try several items from their distillery. For food we started with the Poblano Pimento Cheese and crackers. The flavor of the cheese spread was addictive and the kick on the crackers added the right finish. I then tried the Jive Turkey sandwich. The combo of the turkey with havarti cheese and the grape chutney made for a savory meal. My husband went with the Lockwood Muffuletta that he devoured and washed down with the last of his flight. The service was awesome and the ambiance was inviting. There was live music while we were there that added to the lively atmosphere. This place is on the smaller side so make sure you call ahead for reservations.

Craig D.

Yelp
Had a wonderful meal here with friends tonight. The place is clean and trendy, but the food and drinks were above expectation! Awesome night, great service, and we will be back frequently!

Victoria N.

Yelp
Met up with a friend yesterday to have some drinks and listen to music. This is a nice spot. They have a great patio, Waitress was friendly and our drinks came quickly. They used to have these ahi tuna anchors that were great but they took them off the menu. The food is good, but I come for the drinks.

Martin K.

Yelp
Cool place to hang out. Great vibe and good drinks, made with in-house liquors. Round it out with good food, and you have a fun evening.

Christina R.

Yelp
I had been to the Fort Worth location about a year ago. Stopped here for happy hour. Great happy hour prices for their drinks and food. Very busy after work, even on a weekday. The inside looks similar to many distillerys, nothing special. The service was really great by all of the staff. I'd highly recommend coming here.

Bryan W.

Yelp
The cocktails are wonderful, and the staff makes you feel like family. It has such a warm and inviting ambiance that is welcoming and comfortable. We love that the cocktails are reasonably priced for the quality plus the newly added happy hour. We didn't get food this trip, but we remember from a previous visit that it was okay. Nothing to go out of your way for, but it's worth a bite if you're here drinking and hunger strikes.

Paige T.

Yelp
We came back to Lockwood Distillery after having such a great time here for Father's Day lunch last Saturday. It was busy tonight, but we got a seat by the bar right away. They brought water right away (it's distilled here and so good!) Our drinks were delicious. The chicken tenders are so good. My husband got the kids meal chicken tenders & there were 2 big tenders and tater tots. I got the Jive turkey sandwich and chips. It was very good. Their appetizers are so good. Last Saturday, we had deviled eggs, pork rinds, and truffle tater tots, and they were so good. Katie, our waitress last saturday, was so awesome!! They have live music and it was a great vibe and an awesome dinner tonight. Ben, our server, was excellent. He checked on us frequently and everything came out right on point! Ben has a great smile and great personality. He was so polite! Everything was excellent!! We will be back.

Michele W.

Yelp
We scheduled a distillery tour and had reservations for dinner here, after the tour. The staff was so friendly, as well as helpful and entertaining. The tour was very interesting and informative. The tasting after the tour was one of the best I have ever had. Their spirits are all very good, and you get to taste quite a few. We bought a few bottles and have since bought some from the local liquor stores. The cocktails from the bar are innovative and tasty. The food is very good. I really loved their tater tots! It feels like a party with friends inside the restaurant/bar. They have live music on the patio. We plan to go to their Ft Worth location and expect it will be just as fun.

Fred H.

Yelp
Another good visit to Lockwood Distillery with Nicci slinging the drinks. Great recommendation on the deviled eggs.

Jamie T.

Yelp
Highly recommend the rum flight if you're into pirates and sweeter liquors! A good deal as well! The hot toddy was one of my favorite drinks to get here. Our host didn't seem very friendly but the place was so great, he didn't really spoil any of the experience anyways. Good place to have friends over or to play board games at!

Melyna S.

Yelp
Such a nice place, I am so glad our group decided to try Lockwood. It was a little out of our way, but despite the issues - it was worth it. Apparently on the evening we were there they had a plumbing issue, because of that it took our drinks a long time to come to our table. In fact, our food came out at the same time as the drinks. I believe it was the Manager that realized this and brought over a couple bottles of wine for us without charge for the inconvenience. Which was amazing and unexpected and also appreciated because my Sloe Gin Fizz was not good, but I really liked the bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and worked on that! The food was what we were all raving about! Someone in our group mentioned before we ordered how he didn't understand why restaurants take simple dishes and do too much. He had changed his mind by the end of the night and was saying that we will be back! And we will!

Ryan N.

Yelp
Located at a shopping center off 75 and Beltline, this place offers plenty of parking spots - no need to valet! Yay! Once you go inside, the atmosphere feels inviting and has a chill vibe. Oh, and they offer live music too on some nights...dinner, drinks, and a show...can't beat that! The cocktails my wife and I had were all delicious - however, please note that they basically utilize their own alcohol brand. This was kind of cool because when I ordered a Sazerac, they even used their own Absinthe! For the food, we ordered the chicken tenders and steak - both were delicious! I kind of wish they offered more entree options as they seem to focus more on sandwich and burger options. I definitely give this place a 2 thumbs up!

John C.

Yelp
Definitely a place I need to try again as there seems to be a great upside. I'll start with the good. The hibiscus basil lemonade was awesome!! The pickles were also great along with 1/2 of the full Monty sandwich. Our waiter was also great! Attentive and spot on with service. The not so good is the atmosphere and the chairs. Metal chairs were so uncomfortable and it was kind of a bland interior. The full Monty had no turkey on half of the sandwich and the bologna was so thin that it could've been a slice of Oscar Meyer. They were out of Pastrami before 1:00 and it wasn't busy. Will give a 2nd chance

Karen K.

Yelp
Love it here! So cute! Like a lil alcohol cafe! Come on girls, let's get some vodka and then coffee with Communion next door! I got the Lockwood 76. Oh great like lemonade with wonderful addins! Tried the deviled eggs, cuz really ya not southern if ya don't. Then I whimped and got the kids cheeseburger, cuz I was full from coffee! Coffee is my love and then vodka and don't forget to send love when you visit!

Lauren H.

Yelp
Came here to add a photo of the muffuletta I split with my mom. Delicious!!! The food here has been killer. Literally everything is delicious and the service is ALWAYS good!

Diane S.

Yelp
Really nice surprise. We stopped by on a whim. We walked in and it was an adult bar. The drink options were plentiful, definitely a change up from breweries. We did the flight, which was interesting. Settled on our drinks and cool takes on different menu items.

Stewart P.

Yelp
Love this place!!! Fun, great drinks and food! Friendly atmosphere and staff is always so welcoming.

Jonathan F.

Yelp
The spirits made here are top quality. I would highly recommend getting a couple of bottles from the spirits they distill here. Nothing they served us disappointed. The food came out quickly, at the right temp and a generous portion size to boot. The restaurant itself feels homie and rustic. It's a very southern, Texas vibe that makes you feel welcome the minute you walk in. Service was great they were attentive and dropped by frequently to check up on us. We did go on a weekday morning, it was a little slow so your experience may vary in the evening. However, from how I've seen them operate in the morning I'm confident they'll keep up the great job a peak hours. If you like good quality whiskey/drinks and good eats you'll love this place.

Bill U.

Yelp
We stoped in for a St Patty's day drink with my wife and daughter. My water was delicious and my wife and daughter enjoyed their specialty drinks that were expensive but tasty.

David C.

Yelp
Great food, great drinks. Best happy hour in the area. Bean dip is great along with their pimento cheese and deviled eggs

Ashley P.

Yelp
Our first time here was a success! All the cocktails were great. I got their Gin drinks and they had plenty of alcohol for the price. The burger I got, I asked for pink and it had no pink, you could taste the flame got a little out of hand, but still tasted good. Got their Gouda Mac n Cheese as a side and it was great. The server was attentive and knowledgeable. They also had other staff going around making sure waters were full and tables cleansed. It was pretty busy and we were there around 6:30-7:30, so a little noisy, but could still hold a convo with the hubby fine enough.

Yelp
The burger, the tater tots and the whiskey flight - ALL VERY YUMMY! The waiter was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Enjoyed the restaurant itself, great for an early dinner. I'll go back for sure!

Yelp
This place has great drinks along with an incredible menu. We loved the charcuterie board starter, tomato basil soup and so many other dishes. It was so good!

Yelp
Went here this past Saturday with a few friends for a birthday celebration. The parking lot was pretty full when we went but still able to find parking in their lot. They had a great live musician playing guitar and singing when we went which was a nice touch. We shared the Truffle Shuffle Tots $8.95 (love the goonies) to start off which have a very strung truffle oil taste but the garlic aioli helps tamper it down some. Had the Chicken Tender Dinner $19.95 which was just okay taste wise but pretty pricey for what you get. They were not bad but not worth the cost in my opinion. The gouda mac and cheese was just alright too, didn't really taste any gouda and had generic tots with it. I tried their Old Fashioned $10.00 which was terrible but then I realized it was a "draft" cocktail. I got their Autumn Old Fashioned $12.00 which is made fresh and has some mild pumpkin flavor added and this was great (I like pumpkin though). The food here is more 3 star but the environment/service and the alcoholic drinks is why I gave it 4 stars. I spoke to the manager as well and he was really nice. He said he may even try to grab a bottle of my current favorite bourbon that is limited called Blue Run Reflection 1. I really enjoyed the night we spent here but in terms of the food itself it is just okay but I would gladly go back anytime to enjoy a drink, some live music or just hang out there.

Yelp
I had been to Lockwood Distilling previously to have a drink with coworkers and I really enjoyed my Bees Knees cocktail so I knew I'd be back. To my surprise, our departmental holiday lunch was held at Lockwood so I got my chance to try the food. We had the dirty tots as an appetizer. The portion was large & it was cheesy, creamy and spicy along with a little crunch! I ordered the Chimichurri Skirt Steak and traded out the marbled potatoes for a side Caesar salad. The steak was tender and flavorful. I also ordered a Bourbon Paloma cocktail which I absolutely must recreate at home! It was perfect if you like a fruity but not too sweet drink or if you're easing your way into Bourbon. I'm already planning my next trip back to try more drinks.

Yelp
Wow! What a fun joint! It is a casual spot on a shopping center near the water tower and highway, so it is easy to access and park. They take reservations, so you can plan in advance. The service is friendly and attentive. Expect very casual with a full bar and music - you can see the distillery operations and there is cement floors with metal chairs and basic wood tables. The food was delicious. DH and I split the Chicken Caesar Salad and the Shrimp and Grits. The Caesar dressing tasted house made, and the chicken was nice and moist. The grits were creamy and the sweet shrimp had a nice level of spice. My LO ordered the fried bologna sandwich, which was INCREDIBLE and I don't do sandwiches and generally hate bologna. The bologna made be house made - it takes like grilled hot dog slices on toasted, fresh bread. The drinks also did not disappoint. I had the Texas Sized 11-4, which was well balanced and generous. Check out the spirits while you are here - the gin is awesome as is the cinnamon rum. Great for cocktails or drinking. For a family of 4 with one drinker, we ate for $112 with a generous tip. I would definitely recommend it.

Yelp
Heard about this place and decided to check it out for lunch on a Tuesday since they offer half off from 11-4 and was not disappointed. The burger was good even if there wasn't any pink like requested but the flavors made up for it. I got the down south tots and they were amazing. Their menu shows the many different drinks they offer and I gotta say I will definitely be going back to try them. They have a covered outdoor space that's perfect for those spring and fall brunches. They have many other food items to enjoy that I'm sure everyone will be pleased with.

Yelp
Fridays are incomplete without Katie, Sarah and Angel making sure our weekend starts off just right. Chefs kiss on all the things!

Yelp
GET THE LOCKWOOD BRAMBLE FROZEN COCKTAIL! The drinks are a highlight and I would come back just to try their other drinks. The food is ok but a bit over priced for the portions. Nice atmosphere and quiet on a Friday afternoon.
