"This gastropub in downtown Santa Ana isn't new but a post-pandemic reset and a trip to Mexico changed Chef Luis Perez's mindset—and menu. It's all about quality over quantity here, so expect a tightly edited menu featuring tacos, quekas, and churros, but it's all very good. Happy hour discounts make sampling it all a tempting proposition. Tacos are made with handmade flour tortillas topped with a grilled tomato and dried chili salsa and filled with everything from sauteed shrimp to pork shank carnitas and suadero. Quekas feature hand-pressed masa and are served with a habanero salsa. While the vegan mushroom queka is worth ordering by itself with nicely sauteed mushrooms, confit potatoes, and guacamole, you can also opt to add cheese for a wonderful addition." - Michelin Inspector

My new favorite place. All their drinks options are delicious. A fabulous arrays of appetizers: guacamole tasted fantastic with yummy salsa options, their bacon wrapped dates are uniquely sweet and salty with a creamy blue cheese. And my absolutely favorite was their chile relleno. Super friendly host and waiter. A must stop place in Santa Ana.

Are Taco Tuesdays still a thing? I think this is a contender for best Taco Tuesday in OC. Proper Cocktails (spicy marg, sangria) are $6!! Both brisket and carnitas are braised. Not the typical street style. The best part is they are not tough dry pulled pork meat but have some juicy fat!!! Would love to come back for non happy hour. Be careful, the spicy marg can be extra spicy if you want to play russian roulette.

Unbelievable tacos, best I've ever had. Funky environment.

Arrived for late happy hour, Thursday, About 5:30 pm... Went to check it out as a result of the venue just being recognized as a "Michelin Selected Restaurant". A slight wait to be acknowledged at entrance to be seated. A little discouraging but turned out to be no big deal. I was politely asked where I'd like to sit...chose the bar, as a single patron. I was quickly approached by the personable bartender/server, Garrick. I chose a margarita (jigger poured, approx 2oz tequila and 2 oz mix, shaken and strained into an ice filled, salted rim "bucket"). It was tasty, and satisfyingly potent...I had two, and actually felt a little buzz, and I'm not a lightweight!!! It was "Thursday Date Night", the only night you can get Bacon wrapped, cheese filled dates...VERY sweet n' savory, oh, and quite good. One of my reasons to visit, was to try the Blue Corn, deep fried, Chili Relleno. NOT your typical Relleno, except the cheese stuffed pepper, but was well worth the try...you should try it too! It sat in a thin red pepper type sauce that is quite potent. I loved it, but it might be too "hot" for the weak palate. CAREFUL! Overall, it was a very worthwhile visit, albeit short due to the damn parking meter!!! Some amateur diners might think that the offerings are a bit pricey, but it's actually appropriate, given the ingredients, preparation, and this lovely economy!!! Kudos to the kitchen staff, Garrick and also Aristotle, another personable front of house guy.

We came for lunch and really enjoyed the delicious food. The menu is very small, but the service was friendly. The environment is quirky, and it lacks any real ambiance.

Google
Really like coming to this places. The drinks are good, would recommend the Paloma. The guacamole is my favorite with the pumpkin seeds. The taco are 3.5 stars but overall atmosphere, service, and drinks make up for it.

Google
Awesome food, incredible service, and intimate vibe. The portions were bigger than expected and the food tasted fresh. The chef knows wear he’s doing. Everything tasted homemade and not processed. The drinks weee stiff and well priced. Also the server and staff were extremely friendly. You can tell the staff enjoys working there. Can’t wait to come back. Thanks guys for an excellent experience.

Google
The service is decent and the food is good, the couple times I’ve eaten there. But the owner screws over his neighbors over utilities that got mixed up, being such an old building his neighbor actually had to pay for his electricity for a while until Edison sorted things out. The neighbor, in good faith, kept the electricity on and paid his bills so the restaurant wouldn’t get shut off. The owner now is not paying him back. Really hard to support a restaurant, whose leadership lacks integrity. Edit: neighbor has exhausted all efforts to get help from the landlord and Edison to make this easy for everyone and the final decision was for the neighbor businesses to sort out what’s owed. They have the same landlord!

Yelp
After seeing this restaurant mentioned numerous times online, we thought we would take a quick run over there. We got there early for dinner seating and we're definitely not disappointed. We started with a guacamole and the Chiso cheese dip. I had the Carnitas taco and others had a taco each. We finished dinner off with the churros, which were of course amazing with the chocolate dipping sauce.

Yelp
First time here. Our party of 4 made a reservation for Friday at 7 pm. We were excited to try this restaurant. Started off my dinner with an old fashioned. It was perfect with a tiny bit of spice. If you like flavorful food that is of good quality and attention to detail, you have to try Lola. Service: Amazing Food: Delicious and amazing attention to detail. Location: Park along the street with metered, structure, or neighborhood parking down the residential streets. Loved this place and come hungry!

Renee M.

Yelp
1st congratulations on the Michelin Star it is very well deserved. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. My daughter and I very much enjoyed the vegan tacos. The carrot was super flavorful and spicy. I loved the cauliflower as well as the Brussel Sprouts all very flavorful and filling.I especially liked to tortillas.

Michael T.

Yelp
I like the place, pretty intimate type setting but also doesn't turn away friends who want to hang out and watch the LAFC game. Drinks were a bit watered down so that was really disappointing so ordered beer after the first round. Food was pretty good. I wish the shrimp tacos was chopped rather than whole to get better bites. The chile relleno was solid with the goat cheese but wished the breading was different. I can't put my finger what was off with it but it was weird. The lamb barbacoa quekas was really good and the sweet habanero salsa paired really well with it. The fat was rendered perfectly and it was not gamey at all. The brisket suadero taco was solid, they were almost like burnt ends. Overall a decent spot, personally the price point not bad. Might not be my first choice when I'm back in the area.

Yelp
Great happy hour spot in DTSA. My friends and I came in quite a large group without a prior reservation and they were super nice about it and able to accommodate us out on the patio. I had the spicy margarita which was solid. We shared a few orders of the chips & guacamole (and even got chip refills) -- could not stop snacking on these! The salsa was great too. There are a few drinks on the happy hour menu (sangria, regular and spicy margaritas were the popular ones in our group) but they had a large selection of craft cocktails I would love to come back to try. The tacos on the happy hour menu were delicious and so well priced, highly recommend the brisket! Soft, juicy and tender meat with the perfect flavors. Come check this place out!

Tiffany P.

Yelp
I give this place 3 food was okay in my opinion nothing I can rave about the salsa was too sweet they have lots of veggie options. Mexican twist with their hand made tortillas, chili rellaño was corn meal battered filled with cheese . Tacos were over stuffed barbarian quesidella I was told tasting like salami. Service was okay he had great energy but could used another server. Ambiance was nice dark like feeling a nice creepy painting on the wall of a girl with noticeably big feet, strange but I like it.

Yassi G.

Yelp
This place was REALLY GOOD. It's a chill spot, cool interior and relaxed outdoor seating with bench chairs and high tops. The tacos were delicious !! I was so happy. The fact that they have clever and tasty vegetarian options as well. I ordered the potatoe and shishito taco, as well as the carrots Al pastor. Amazing and really filling. We shared the guacamole (must get) and one of the quesadillas (forgive I forget the name on the menu) but ours had mushrooms and peppers in it. Stuffed with goodness. Drinks were pretty good too, I got the one with hibiscus and tequila, once again I displaced the name lol Will definitely be back !

Mary M.

Yelp
Cute little place, and I mean little! Service was great, decided to try the chorizo queka (quesadilla), it's pretty big but omg so super greasy. There was grease dripping down my fingers as I bit into it. But don't get me wrong, it was delicious, just heavy. Loved the fresh tortilla chips and the guac was amazing!

Angela Y.

Yelp
Came here for happy hour and everything was just alright. For drinks we got the margarita picante and sangria roja. The margarita had a good amount of spicy but not much alcohol. The sangria tasted like it had no alcohol. For food we got the happy hour brisket suadero tacos and pork confit carnitas tacos. The portions were huge, which explains the price. But there was really not much flavor and the meat was not tender. Overall wasn't a bad experience, but also wasn't satisfying.

Vanessa S.

Yelp
Drinks: 7/10 Service: 7/10 Ambiance: 7/10 We only had chips so I can't give a rating for the food. The chips were good, they were freshly made. However, the happy hour chips only come with one salsa that is very hot and not necessarily a crowd pleaser. We asked if there were other salsas and were informed that the other salsas don't come with the happy hour "chips and salsa." The waiter did end up bringing some out for us to try, which we appreciated and we really liked the second salsa he brought out. Our drinks were good (not great). We went for happy hour on a Friday. The happy hour is 3-6pm, I believe all weekdays. The happy hour menu is small, but the deals were good! The service was okay. It kind of felt like we were bothering the waiter by being there. Maybe he was having a rough day. The ambiance was good, very dark and moody inside.

Sara P.

Yelp
I came in to Lola Gaspar before the January art walk.. they were not very busy and service was a little spotty. It's a dark and moody spot, we sat in the corner by the kitchen. I always love a good tapas and taco menu. It's a small menu, with lots of promise. Ordered the guac and chips to start - average and acceptable. I ordered the bourbon apple cocktail and it didn't taste like it had any alcohol in it. I rarely drink and one cocktail typically provides me with a nice buzz. I wasn't even slightly buzzed from this cocktail. The brussel sprout taco was just slathered in a spicy sauce, I feel like it fell flat and could be better executed. The winning point for me was the short rib tacos. *Chef's Kiss* We left after our tacos, choosing only one round of drinks since my cocktail was more of a juice. Probably wont come back, but hope for the best in Lola's future.

Yelp
Located in the heart of Santa Ana, it was a bit surprising to me that this was the first time that I had visited Lola Gaspar having passed it as many times that I have. But, today was the day as I dropped in with a friend for lunch. On this particular afternoon, it was not difficult to find a spot to dine as things were light. The outdoor seating is located adjacent to a non-vehicle alleyway which created an atmosphere that allowed for pleasant conversations. Service here was good with the solo server/bar staff providing good and attentive service. Beverages were offered quickly and were refilled without prompting. To start, wee had the guacamole and salsas appetizer. There were served with delicious fresh warm tortilla chips. They tasted homemade. The guacamole was a good portion and had a tasty flavor and was topped with a toasted nut. It was served with three creamy salsas that were green and red. Very smooth with unique tastes. My preference for a salsa is along the chunky tomato side, but these were a different style. I tended to move toward the guacamole instead. For the entrees, I went with a lamb taco and a brisket taco which are served a la carte. They were served on homemade tortillas and topped with guacamole, radish and pickled onions. Both tacos were loaded with protein and to permit me to eat them, "taco style," I pulled off some the meat and consumed it with a fork. Very lean and tender and it was evident that it was stewed for some time. Jumping into the tacos, I found each to be very juicy, but short on spices and distinct flavor. If I had suggestions, I would add much more seasoning and, perhaps, reduce the size of the protein to allow it to absorb more into the meat. Yes, this may be slightly tough, but I think it would go along way to enhance these tacos into something pretty special. In reading the other reviews, it is clear that Lola Gaspar has a great following and appears to be a very nice location to enjoy beverages and hearty food options. I was very pleased to see that there were many offerings of protein and hope to give them another try along with a tasty adult beverage. Be well!

Yelp
I just had dinner here and I I'm very impressed. I came here with a large party and we were seated comfortably outside. The old Spanish architecture is very beautiful to look at. This place stands out in downtown Santa Ana is a must-try if you're in the area. I had the salsa and the Hongos Adobados. The Hongos Adobados is a different kind of quesadilla I've had. The shell has a decent texture and the avocado and mushroom mix has a nice taste to it. It goes great with the complimentary salsa and guacamole. They give both a mild and spicy salsa...and they're not messing around with the spicy stuff either! Keep in mind downtown Santa Ana has it's parking challenges. Do plan on where to park.

Briana S.

Yelp
Some of the best tacos I've ever had! Plenty of seating room with a cool dark vibe and antique chandeliers. They were super attentive in getting our food and drink order in. I started with the taquitos because they sounded delicious and they did not disappoint! Definitely should try if you get the chance. For the main I ordered the brisket suadero taco and the pork belly carnitas taco. Both were absolutely mouth watering and the meat was so tender. Came with my best friend but will be bringing back my husband because I feel like this is one of my new favorites!

Yelp
I arrived at this establishment for the first time on a Wednesday afternoon, around 4 or 5. Upon entering, I immediately sought a comfortable place to sit and requested the menu. After realizing it was quite warm inside, my companion and I decided to sit outside on the patio. Inside, there were only two people seated, while outside there was another group of three. The server presented us with both the regular menu and the happy hour menu. I noticed a table that provided shade and allowed for leaning back against the glass for some back support. However, the bartender informed us that this table was only for groups of eight. Strangely, there were no other customers nearby, yet he insisted we choose one of the tables fully exposed to the sun, with stools that lacked back support. He attempted to adjust an umbrella to provide some shade. Reluctantly, we settled for the table the bartender had designated for us seated right in the sun, and he promptly provided us with menus and water glasses. We decided to give the place a chance and ordered drinks. However, the overall atmosphere did not appeal to us, so we decided to finish our drinks and find another establishment to enjoy some appetizers. Although the drinks were satisfactory, the lime in my Paloma drink had a slightly bitter taste. On a positive note, I appreciated the inclusion of Sal de Gusano (chili salt) on one side of the rim. Despite ordering from the happy hour menu, we were charged the regular price for our drinks. As my companion and I walked pass this place after getting appetizers somewhere else we noticed that the patio and the table that I wanted to take a seat remained unoccupied.

Yelp
Suadero tacos..delicious. The bacon wrapped blue cheese dates were AMAZING (not picture cuz we ate them too fast). The winner was the cauliflower tacos. So delicious. Next time I'm only getting those.

Eddie H.

Yelp
Great place in downtown Santa Ana, tacos are delicious I had asada , shrimp and carnitas. The drinks are out of this world great place to chill with friends or love ones.

Peter C.

Yelp
Every time I stop by here I have such a great time. Service is great and the vibe is just right. Marisa and Aris provided such great service. Wish they were open later. This is definitely my new go to

Adriana V.

Yelp
We stopped by for the 1st time on a Saturday night and were extremely disappointed in the service. We were sitted right away, we waited patiently for someone to come around and take our order. After 20 minutes, I waved down a male employee that appeared to be in charge and let him know that now one had come around and waited on us . Our tacos were very salty, in addition we had to request for napkins. After all, not a good experience. I understand every place is understaffed but all it would have taken, was to be acknowledged.

Connie S.

Yelp
Came here last night for the first time for OC restaurant week and it did not disappoint! For $25 I was able to get chips and salsa, a taco trio (carrot al pastor, lamb barbacoa and mesquite grilled chicken) and a churro. All of it was so good. I like that the tacos are dairy free since I have a nondairy diet and sometimes tacos aren't as good when I have to modify but I was able to get these as is. Really cute ambiance too - would love to come back for date night some time with my husband. But it is a smaller restaurant and might not be good for large groups fyi. Server was super friendly. There is metered street parking on surrounding streets and a parking structure close by. Can't wait to come back and try some cocktails!

josh m.

Yelp
What happened here? It was one of the best and most unique Spanish-Mexican restaurants in the OC. Now it's just cookie cutter cocktails and boring flavorless tacos and apps

Stephanie G.

Yelp
We were excited to try Lola Gaspar after seeing them featured in a recent Eater article. The service was bad, we had a reservation and our server told us to sit wherever and then had us move over a table after not telling us where to sit. We ordered tacos off the happy hour menu and they served me a carnitas taco I didn't order and basically forced me to have it. The server said the cooks just plate tacos and whatever comes out from the kitchen. The shrimp tacos were tasty however the carnitas tacos were not shredded but a lump of meat. Some tortillas were flour and corn however the menu said they would be flour. The margaritas were bad and watered down. We also tried to order the chili relleno but the cook was still preparing it and the server said they didn't have any leftover from the previous night and had to wait for a delivery. I really wanted to like this place but I wouldn't recommend. The menu is very limited and not really a place you're going to get dinner entrees.

Mike G.

Yelp
In the Artist Village of DTSA you'll find a corridor with a string of bars and restaurants. Lola Gaspar is hidden gem. It was a Thursday afternoon. Doors opened at 5pm and we were there at 5:08. Before we even walked in the host came out and greeted our party of 4 just out front and invited us in. This was a tell tale sign that attentive service is part of their standard. We were among the first guests in and so we were offered option for outdoor or indoor seating. We took a table inside which had a perfect view of the bar, the two TV's (NBA playoffs were on!) and the kitchen. Our server was quick with waters gave a us a break down of the key items on the menu. Knowledgeable across the board about drinks and the food. They take a unique approach to the food with signature variations of familiar Mexican food such as Quekas and tacos. We placed our orders and I'd say turnaround times of the bar and the kitchen are definitely efficient. What did we order? Drink: La Paloma 5/5 Bear Fucker 5/5 Food: Guacamole and Chips 5/5 Carrot Pastor Tacos 4/5 Carne Asada Taco 4/5 Mushroom tacos 5/5 Queka Chorizo 3/5 Fairly priced, and quality eats. Drinks and the Guacamole alone are worth returning for but bring an appetite and you have a solid menu of food to satisfy your appetite. Good work Lola Gaspar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
The lamb Birria quesadilla was so good! It was so cheesy and full of meat and flavor. He habanero sauce was a perfect complement. The drink (I think blueberry something was also delicious. It was a nice pre-party meal to soak up what was to come lol

S. F.

Yelp
A go to spot for me for years. Great for people with diet restrictions. Fresh food. The salsa/sauce is amazing.

Allen T.

Yelp
Awesome. Had a couple Mezcal cocktails. Both were worthy craft cocktail mixology treats. Had Guac and chips (awesome - crispy, salted just right, with 3 nice salsas), brisket taco, and my wife has the carnitas taco. Would get them all again. Highly recommended.

Justin Y.

Yelp
Visited 11/15 for a taco Tuesday. Tacos were delicious, as were the cocktails. My gf especially loved the vampiro cocktail. It wasn't too busy, the servers/bartenders were friendly and attentive. We will be back for sure!

Cheryl L.

Yelp
First time here last tonight and wow, I am a lifer, I'm definitely coming back!!! First and for most, many thanks to Jefferson for the utmost amazing service and awesome experience! (If you're nice he will share his Spotify playlist with you, he curates the music here) Drinks: We had multiple orders the drinks were so good here!! My favorite is the pina colada they make but we tried the sangria, el viento, la sayulita and the plátano con mole drinks they have and they were all extremely well made and delicious! Thank you to Garrick as well for bar tending, I really should have tried more from the menu and next time I will. Food: Ugh the foooood!!!! Every bite I had was spectacular! It did not disappoint and I'm still day dreaming of the chicken tacos. We tried the chicken, the carrot al pastor, a carne asada queka, a pork chorizo queka, bacon wrapped dates, the prawn tacos were the best and probably my favorite. Chips and guacamole were fresh and the salsa was so good! They had a tomato based one and then a spicier one that almost tasted sweet but then hit with the spices at the end. It was delicious on everything! This place really has the authentic Mexican flavors you find in Mexico City. My partner said it took him back to how the tacos taste like in Sonora. Ambiance: Very cool vibes like a little tapas place in Spain is how it felt, we sat outdoors they had cute patio furniture. I almost didn't find the location because it was fairly hidden and they don't have a huge sign outside that you could see. You can easy walk past it. I liked the feel it had though of a sort of hidden gem. I can't wait to come back and try more on the menu

Samantha T.

Yelp
Okay, I just had to say first and foremost the Bacon Wrapped Dates are the most delicious appetizers I have ever eaten!! I'm not big on blue cheese but I am able to consume at least 2 orders of these! I wish they were available in different portion sizes. But either way, the delicious dates are wrapped in bacon, stuffed with top of the line blue cheese and topped with a glaze that's to die for. If you stop by here, you NEED to try these! Also, the inside is kept very clean, the staff are friendly and the bartender makes killer drinks.

Bee L.

Yelp
Food was soooo good! I cannot recommend this place enough. It has a dark divey feel but it's anything but. Cocktails are on point. Tip: ask for their lobster tacos. You won't be disappointed. I really want to go back!!

Margaret N.

Yelp
It's ok. No AC, and limited spacing. Food was ok. Service was good. I dont know if I'll go back.

Gilbert R.

Yelp
We were not sure what to expect when we came here. We were just trying to take advantage of a rare date night with no kids. And boy did we hit the jackpot! Amazing food, incredible food and excellent service. We shared the guac and chips to start the night with our drinks. Their guac has Cotija cheese on it which just took it to another level. We then shared some bacon wrapped dates. These had a wonderful surprise as they were stuffed with blue cheese. I'll be the first to avoid blue cheese, but man did these flavors marry! My wife had a Chile Relleno, while I had an octopus taco and tiger shrimp taco. To end the night we had their amazing churros which came with an amazing Abuelitas chocolate dipping sauce...unreal! It's located in the heart of DT Santa Ana. Cool place to walk around. They have plenty of patio seating available as well. Just give it a try, you wont be disappointed!

Justin C.

Yelp
Went here with a couple of friends a while ago for Happy Hour after a recommendation. Place has plenty of seating and a nice and relaxing vibe with deep lighting. Our server was very nice and polite who gave us recommendations on what to order when we asked. I forgot her name but she provided some really good customer service that left me impressed. My party and I ordered all the tacos off the menu and while the price was a bit high, the food packed a lot of flavor. We also ordered some quesadillas and those didn't disappoint either. The drinks we ordered was also great and my favorite was the Bear****. A couple of those and it definitely gets you going. I definitely recommend this place and I do plan on coming here again with friends/family.

Roxana P.

Yelp
It was the worst tacos I've ever had! Everything was so salty! I will not recommend eating here.

Richard W.

Yelp
Great tacos and crafts cocktails and beer. Waiter was very helpful and the location in DTSA is nice

Lori A.

Yelp
Drinks Tacos Vibe Good food and good times Friendly service Nice red wines! Once you're there, you'll stay awhile.

Grace N.

Yelp
I came he re a couple times and thought it might be time I write up a review. I like how cozy and romantic this place is. If you come during the day, it gives you a Sunday afternoon in Spanish tiles courtyard feel, if you come in the evening, it gives out a mysterious cozy and romantic vibe. I like that they don't change the set up of their menu too much. It is simple and have just enough items for selections. They still kept a few signature items over the years, and the rest they switch from time to time. Staff are friendly, food is good and vibe is chill. Definitely recommend.

Mimi L.

Yelp
I've always been a fan of Lola Gaspar for many years~ It's a hidden gem in the heart of DTSA. I haven't visited for some time but glad we did a weekend ago! We had a great time here on a Saturday night. Glad it wasn't super packed, local patrons distanced themselves & there were decent amount of spaced-out outdoor patio seating. So we felt comfortable being here especially during this Covid time. The outdoor lighting around the patio & trees give this spot a warm welcoming feeling. We placed our order on the inside & then sat outdoor. Menu was limited but we got chicken nachos & couple tacos. Both were delish! Our old-fashion drinks were on point. Our server was friendly & high-spirited~ Lola is a great hang-out spot that's super chill with a casual, hipster-ish vibe. FYI: Only one restroom is available on the inside with 1 stall. It's a bit dark & space is limited within.

Stephen M.

Yelp
Had the great pleasure to visit last night! Food, service, and atmosphere are top notch. Highly recommend the bacon wrapped dates to start off. They're huge and bursting with cheese, so so good! We only had Palomas (delicious) and the cocktail menu looks awesome, we'll have to be back! The shrimp tacos were a big highlight as well as the lamb quekas. Really fun date night! Thank you!

Dominique P.

Yelp
Great food, great vibe, great times! Definitely recommend good for a night out, and family!

Jeni G.

Yelp
Was excited to try this place but not sure what the rave reviews are for. The food was overpriced and very mediocre. The drinks were fine. We got multiple tacos that were under seasoned with an underwhelming - and honestly gross and limp - flour tortilla. Pork confit carnitas were dry and flavorless. Chips, salsa, and small amount of guacamole for $15 but the guacamole was good. Lamb barbacoa, taquitos, were fine. The churros were disgusting though - overcooked on the outside and raw in the middle.

Eric G.

Yelp
Reviewing just the drinks! The service was amazing! The girl serving us was so kind and gave great recommendations on mezcal. I tried an Ojo de Tigre neat and loved it. The cocktails were made with fresh ingredients and we liked how their Paloma had more grapefruit flavor than you'd get other places. Overall great time.

Mr V.

Yelp
First time here @ Lola Gaspas and Jefferson made the night with my Sol de mi Vida an amazing night a must try and ask for Jefferson picked all the best suggestions and he was right on with every pick

Katrina S.

Yelp
Was a little hard to find but worth the adventure. Fantastic tacos & an absolutely delicious chili relleno. Happy hour cocktails were great too. Really appreciated the great service.

Nicole C.

Yelp
Love this place to death! Frequent it at least once a month and never a bad time. The tacos are fabulous and the drinks are the best (if made by Jefferson)! Couldn't recommend this establishment more, and do order the chips and guac. Their house made salsa is out of this world with its delicious tomato flavor!

Alfredo F.

Yelp
went here on a lil date coincidentally during lunch happy our which i guess limits the menu items available BUT what we had was good so can't complain over good food we ordered the elote & guac for appetizers good stuff! my date doesnt like corn so i got both halves the guacamole was fancy because it had pine nuts on it my date ordered two of the pollo tacos & I got one of the al pastor & one of the broccolini omfg that veggie talk was DIVINE the meat was cool to but VEGETARIANS LISTEN ‼ although the non-meat options are like 2-3 items IT WAS REALLY TASTY & FILLING! (reminder we came during lunch so perhaps more greens come out to play at dinner time) the meals were prepared by the chef working the grill outside which was a great move on their part cause the fumes of something cooking is what lead us inside major points for this kind friendly man cooking food outside overall lunch time was about 50$ split down the middle, so this 25$ sample of grandeur tacos was pretty splendid :)

Randy E.

Yelp
It was our first time there. My husband is a vegetarian and they had so much for each of us. Marissa was very knowledgeable in the menu and what they offer, even on taco Tuesday when it isn't raining. The cocktails were amazing! I love mezcal and loved the Abeja cocktail. Food was so flavorful and perfectly portioned. We will definitely be back!

Elizabeth T.

Yelp
We had never been here before and we decided to give it a try. The guy who sat us down was very nice. We decided to order guacamole and chips. Guacamole was good, but it would be for one person only, tiny container for $15 and some samples of salsa came with it too. Salsas were tasty. Then I ask the server (Marissa)about the quesadilla, which was $15, if it was big enough to share between 2 people and she said for sure. We weren't that hungry and wanted more of an appetizer to share. She brought back a taco and went on to say she was just told that the size of the tortilla for the quesadilla had changed! So for $15 she wanted to sell me a taco that usually cost $5!! I told her that was ridiculous, I rather get a taco each for $5. I said that quesadillas are not taco size when you order them at restaurants, specially for $15. She said well that's the size here, she was kind rude about it. I think that if I worked here, I would have told the customer that they had changed the size of the tortilla today and I was going to do 2 tacos instead just one, since I had told them it was big enough. But they didn't. Not coming back here, too overpriced for the portions.
