The 19 Best Restaurants In Anaheim

"When you simply can’t do another continental buffet at the hotel, head to Lola’s for a big family-style breakfast. The menu at this modern Filipino restaurant is filled with excellent, fusion-y dishes like ube pancakes topped with toasted coconut, sizzling sisig made with flaky milkfish, and our personal favorite, the sweet-salty adobo fried rice omelette. The Platinum Triangle location is also within walking distance of Angel Stadium, making it an ideal place to fuel up before roasting in the Anaheim sun for three hours." - brant cox

This Orange County Filipino Restaurant Fought Flames to Save the Family Empire - Eater LA

"Lola’s by MFK opened in March 2022 in Anaheim, serving comforting Filipino family breakfasts. The menu includes classic silog meals traditionally served with garlic fried rice and a yolky egg, ube-infused pancakes, French toast, and omelets with chicken adobo. The restaurant also offers California fare like avocado toast and a huevos rancheros plate to honor Henry Pineda's Guatemalan roots. A mural inside depicts a young Henry offering a blessing to his grandmother Pacita. The restaurant is a full-service operation and plans to offer dinner with traditional Filipino dishes soon." - Anne Marie Panoringan

We stumbled upon Lola’s by MFK while charging our Tesla nearby, and the constant line out the door caught our attention. Clearly, something good was happening here—and we weren’t disappointed. This cozy little spot may be small in size, but it delivers big on flavor and hospitality. Lola’s offers a unique blend of Polynesian-inspired flavors with a creative twist on Asian comfort food. The menu features a thoughtful mix of crowd-pleasers, each dish bursting with bold, well-balanced flavors. From the first bite, it’s clear that the ingredients are fresh and the recipes come from a place of heart and tradition. Whether you’re digging into their signature bowls or sampling a few shareable bites, there’s an undeniable warmth to the food that keeps people coming back. The staff was friendly and efficient, even with the steady flow of customers. Despite the wait, everything moved smoothly, and the energy of the place made it worth it. It’s clear that Lola’s has built a loyal following—and for good reason. If you’re in the area, this is a spot worth checking out. Great food, warm service, and a unique fusion of flavors make Lola’s a true hidden gem.

Google
Friendly service and solid food. Highly recommend the coffee flight, as all the flavors are great. We went early on a rainy Monday so the atmosphere was perfectly laidback and cozy. The tots are very good, but we liked everything so I don't think you can go wrong.

Google
Solid experience at Lolas. We were the first in line and our food came out quick. My fam and I are Filipino and it wasn't a disappointment. The amount of food says itself of our experience

Google
Generally enjoyed all the food. The brunch kamayan is solid and has a variety of all the Filipino brunch staples. They also have some really cool dishes such as the adobo rice omelet and the ikoko moko which adds a lil twist to these classic breakfast dishes. The pancake flight is really cool as well. You get you try three diff kinds of their pancakes. All of em were good. Thai tea was our favorite with sweet avocado coming in at a close second. Overall, def worth a try and will be back.

Google
I don’t get it. I don’t understand why hoards of people come and stand and wait for an hour for such underwhelming food. The lumpia was hard, the ube horchata was watery, and the garlic rice was so bland that it might as well have been white rice. I got the silog breakfast bowl with longanisa. The longanisa was the only good thing about the bowl. The garlic rice, as stated before, was plain and added nothing to the dish. Though the longanisa was juicy, overall the dish felt dry and incomplete. There was no sauce to tie everything together except for the condiments at your table. Albeit, the dish was more palatable with a few splashes of Maggi seasoning, but it still felt a little too homely for me - not homely as in warm and comforting and nostalgic but homely as it “I could make this at home.” To be honest, I feel like the wait is mostly because the inside seating area is small and unable to accommodate the crowds brought by Lola’s online hype train. Once inside, food comes out quickly and service is nice. But at the end of the day… I don’t think the food is that good.

Google
Wow this food was out of this world!! Nick gave us some great recommendations and was super friendly and gracious. The guava French toast and the mango pancakes were to die for!! I also loved the sausage, so full of flavor!! I’ll be back!

Google
Absolutely love love love this place!! I saw them on Instagram and just had to try them. I didn't know Filipino was like that! We got there at 9am on a Saturday and they were packeddd and for good reason! We got their kamayan which is their brunch platter cam with eggs rice and all sorts of meat and lumpy, then their cold brew flight which was 12/10 and then their MIMOSA TOWER!!! That mimosa just blew me away it was way too good, and I love me a tart mimosa the flavor was Calamansi and I highly recommend yall get that. Everyone there was also so nice and so accommodating and answered all our silly questions it is kind of a small spot too but seriously well worth it!

I honestly need to say this, if you want true authentic filipino food don’t come here. This restaurant Americanized the dishes. However it is tasty and delicious. I really feel it’s just a fusion of flavors. The environment is beautiful and trendy. Theres nothing wrong with our food and drinks we ordered. I was hoping for reminders of home.

Yelp
I don't want to say it, but Lola's by MFK is not your typical Filipino restaurant in a couple ways. First, the service here is impeccable. Very attentive and helpful to making suggestions to their menu. Very friendly staff and from the moment we got sat, they were on top of it. Our food came out super fast, we were out of there within an hour. Second non-typical Filipino thing here at Lola's is their menu. With items such as their Bang-Silog bowl, the Long-Silog bowl is pretty typical and authentic, items like their Birria-Chilaquiles and the Tocino loaded tater-tots are very non-typical of traditional Filipino breakfast entrees. We didn't get to try it because we already had so much food, but they offer non-traditional pancakes and French toasts which have a Filipino twist. With so many items that look's so good, it will require some follow-up visits to try more.

Yelp
FOOD: Adobo Fried Rice Omelette, Bangsilog, Lumpia Shanghai, Ube Pancake Bangsilog 5/5--Seasoned with salt, pepper, vinegar, then topped with green onions and garlic, it was perfect. It's fish but doesn't leave a typical fishy aftertaste. The garlic rice was tasty, with a nice flavor, accompanied by small cherry tomatoes and eggs. Adobo Fried Rice Omelette 5/5: The adobo fried rice omelet is a different take on a classic dish. Instead of serving the adobo and rice separately, they are wrapped in an omelet and topped with adobo gravy. Ube Pancake 4/5 While their ube pancake isn't as moist and fluffy as I prefer, it still has a good flavor, and you can definitely taste the ube. Lumpia Shanghai 1/5: This was my least favorite, as the filling was unrecognizable and appeared overly blended. Unlike traditional Filipino lumpia, where the filling is readily seen after a bite, this version lacked distinct flavor and tasted rather bland. SERVICE: Service was efficient during our visit. We arrived shortly after lunch when only three tables were occupied. With two servers attending to the area, our experience was swift and timely. AMBIANCE: The ambiance included some elements of Filipino decoration, but it didn't stand out as especially impressive in terms of atmosphere. PARKING: We didn't have a hard time finding parking, as there were multiple if you don't mind walking a little. While it may be challenging to find parking close to the restaurant due to other small stores in the complex, we were able to find a spot that wasn't too far away.

Yelp
We were greeted with a friendly, warm welcome as soon as we walked in. Even though it was busy - lunchtime with only 1 server - she took great care of us. She brought water quickly, offered suggestions, & took our order. When the pretty, colorful cold brew flight arrived, others took notice & ordered as well! It was our son's 1st time & he was looking all around at the unique items from the Philippines & Guatemala. He was even reading the words on the "Tagalog Made Easy" board! On Thanksgiving-Eve, Christmas songs & Filipino songs filled the air. Cold brew flight - hubby's fave was the buko pandan; my fave was the ube, & I'm not even a fan of ube! The Thai tea was a close 2nd, but neither of us really liked the Milo chocolate... it just tasted like watery chocolate milk. The silog breakfast bowl was yummy as always - garlic fried rice w/ onions & tomatoes were tasty & aaallll the meats were delicious, esp w/ the suka (vinegar)! The lumpia was pretty good, not at all greasy like some places. At the end, our waitress chatted & asked how we liked the flight. She took interest, asked for feedback, & even said we could adjust sweetness if needed next time around. Now that shows she actually cares what we thought about our meal - this is what I love about these small businesses! This is someplace we'll return whenever we have Filipino food cravings!

Yelp
We recently dined at Lola's by MFK and tried their Bangus Sisig and Ube Pancakes with Fruity Pebbles. As a Filipino fusion restaurant, the Bangus Sisig had great flavor--perfect for non-Filipinos or those not seeking an authentic take on sisig. The tanginess was spot on, and it delivered a satisfying twist. The Ube Pancakes stole the show! The sweetness of the ube syrup was perfectly balanced--not too sweet--and made me forget all about my low-carb diet. I couldn't resist and ate the entire pancake! What truly made our experience exceptional was Mia, our server. She was sweeter than the syrup itself--so friendly and personable. When I asked about the Cold Brewed Buko Pandan Coffee, she not only explained the flavors but also mentioned their Buko Pandan Beer. To our surprise, she brought out generous samples of both! Her recommendation was spot on, and we ended up ordering the Cold Brewed Buko Pandan Coffee. If it hadn't been so early, we would have tried the beer too! The only downside was that the place was a bit chilly. Adjusting the temperature would definitely make the dining experience even better. We didn't have to wait to be seated, thanks to their spacious dining area. Parking was moderate but manageable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Last time, I wanted to eat here, the wait was super long on the weekend. You can actually put your name on the waitlist online, before you head over there. There's a parking lot, but it can get busy on the weekend. This time, I came on a weekday around lunch time. There was no wait. The inside of the restaurant is homely and nicely decorated, representing Filipino culture. Our server was friendly and asked is if we had any questions. I decided to go with the sweet avocado French toast and calamansi juice. My friend got the longanisa bowl and ube orchard. I enjoyed my calamansi juice since it wasn't too tart or sweet. My friend's ube horchata was super sweet though. We decided to share our meals. The sweet avocado French toast was light in flavor. I enjoyed it a lot. The rice in the longanisa bowl was a bit undercooked, so it was hard. Other than that, the bowl was tasty. I also ordered the bangus silos for my boyfriend, who enjoyed his meal. They give you a whole milk fish surprisingly. I would say the prices are a bit expensive, but the food is good! I'll come back next time to try other food.

Yelp
Unfortunately, I'm not a local and can't have brunch at this location every weekend. There are tons of dishes that are definitely worth trying the next time I'm in town. Tons of drink options - cocktails, beer, non-alcoholic, juices, coffees. Definitely look at their menu! Difficult to choose a dish, but I had to try the Ube Tres Leches French Toast. In true tres leches style, the French toast was awesomely saturated (my preference for both regular French toast and tres leches cake). The ube sauce was delicious. I cleaned my plate! Hubby loved the Adobo Rice Omelette. He also had a side of longanisa. It's a cute and fun place! Service was great - friendly and helpful. Decent pricing. Will come back whenever we're in town!

Yelp
We enjoyed our Filipino breakfast last Sunday. We opted to order food to go and loved it. For breakfast we got the ube pancakes, the tocilog breakfast bowl and the longsilog bowl, along with some crispy chicharron. We were able to order our food just as they opened and it was ready within 20 minutes. The ube pancakes were good, honestly we were expecting it to be made of ube but instead they came with a syrupy type of ube sauce that was pretty good. The breakfast bowls had garlic rice, the tocino and a sunny side up egg. It was pretty good and the accompanying vinegar was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the chicharron too, it went so well with our breakfast. We will definitely come back to try the other dishes they offer up! We highly recommend them and a good bit of advice is getting on their waitlist because they get pretty busy!

Yelp
Been wanting to try this place out and finally got around to it! The service was incredibly fast, and the workers were so attentive and sweet. The food came out fast as well and the wait for it was not long, I was very impressed by this brunch place. The ambiance gives off authentic filipino vibes with cute modern touches! The restaurant was very clean. The decor and artwork surrounding the restaurant truly showed Filipino heritage and roots, especially with the cute pictures of Lola! :) For food we ordered the Longsilog bowls, Birria Chilaquiles, and Ube Tres Leches French Toast and when I tell you ALL the dishes we got are a 10/10, they are! From the juicy longanisa, Flavorful and loaded Chilaquiles, the not too sweet but yummy ube packed tres leches french toast... This might be my fave Filipino fusion brunch place I've ever had. I even knew immediately to yelp this place right away because I really enjoyed everything I ate! So so good. For the drinks, we got an Ube Horchata and Cold brew flight which consisted of their 4 cold brew flavors - Ube, Buko Pandan, Milo Chocolate, and Thai Tea! THE UBE HORCHATA IS A MUST GET. No questions asked, 10/10, the best ube horchata I've ever had!!! The cold brew flight was good as well, but the only flavor that lacked for me was the Milo cold brew as I felt I couldn't really taste the Milo in it, but all the other cold brews were so delicious! Loved how this restaurant also had the staple Filipino condiments to sauce down your food! Again, I was highly impressed with this place, everything was seriously SO TASTY! I definitely will be back to try more on the menu! :) - A San Diego local.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday with a fairly large group, we had to wait about 30-35 mins. Once seated, we were greeted by our waitress who was very friendly. We ordered loco moco, adobo fried rice, breakfast burrito, Ube French toast and Longanisa bowl (extra crispy) - per her favorite. The loco moco was pretty good. It was with a country fried steak instead of a burger patty. The portion was a little too much for me. The adobo fried rice omelette was tasty. My daughter was able to finish it despite her not liking egg . I would've thought the adobo would've been a bit more flavorful. It didn't really taste like adobo to me. Longanisa bowl really good. The Longanisa was good extra crispy! That's the way to eat it. It came with some cherry tomatoes/chopped onion type pickled something which was ok. Ube French toast was a bit too sweet for my liking. It came with 4 slices of French toast. All our food came out pretty fast except my son's burrito. We were about 3/4 of the way done before his food finally came out. My son said his burrito was ok. He had it with chicken adobo. I didn't taste it as I was too full. It was really sweet, they had brought out an order of Ube pancakes to make up for the long wait of his burrito. All-in-all this place was pretty good! The service was great besides the long wait for the burrito. The food was good.

Yelp
A Filipino breakfast is very hearty, and Lola's knows how to make sure you feast and are full by the end of your meal!! Lola's by MFK is a great place to have a Filipino breakfast/brunch. There are many great options that are not only classic Filipino breakfast items, but some that are Filipino-inspired and their take on the food is great! When you come, know that you need to scan the QR code in front to join the waitlist (unless you are lucky and there is not a wait!). Upon sitting down, there was just so many items I wanted to try. I did first get a Boku Pandan Cold Brew, which had just the right amount of boku pandan flavor in it where it was just not too overwhelming! Now I will talk about a bunch of the dishes I had! Adobo Fried Rice Omelette - This was my favorite dish. It was very hearty and had full of flavor! The chicken adobo inside was good and it had the right amount of sauce to over that garlic rice inside! I need to have someone make me this at home! Ube Pancakes - By looking at it you may think there could be too much Ube flavor in here with all the color, but it was not too overwhelming. The pancakes themselves tasted great and it was just the right amount of Ube to complement the dish. If you want that sweetness for breakfast, then this is a dish to get! Pork Sisig (was a special for the day when I was here) - You cannot go wrong with a good Pork Sisig! They did a great job with the stir-fried pork with those fried onions on that sizzing plate. This was definitely another heavy dish that we looked to munch on! The service here was outstanding and very attentive considering it was very busy. I will definitely need to come back here. I see they do a Kamayan brunch (communal-style meal where it is encouraged to eat with your hands), which is maybe what I need to try next time!

Yelp
One of my new favorite brunch spots in Orange County, Lola's offers delicious and hearty Filipino dishes. It was our first time so we tried a few of their best selling dishes: 1. lumpia Shanghai: the lumpias came piping hot and crispy. We finished the dish as soon as I finished taking the picture! 2. iloco moco: this was our favorite dish! The steak is more so a ground beef patty that was seasoned perfectly and was crispy. It did not get soggy with the addition of the gravy. Flavor wise, the patty reminded me of a fried chicken nugget, which I loved! 3. Adobo Fried Rice Omelet: for the egg lovers, it's basically fried rice with extra eggs on the side. The fried rice is definitely on the softer side than your typical Chinese fried rice. The addition of the gravy adds a savoriness to the dish. Great place to come and grab breakfast/lunch with friends and family. The service is great and the food comes out quickly after you order. To note, you can join the waitlist through their website or do so once you get to the restaurant. Will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in the area!

Yelp
I was referred to Lola's by MFK by a friend, and I am SO glad I took their advice! From the moment I walked in, I knew this place would be special. The modern Filipino fusion here is simply on another level. The Ube Tres Leches French Toast was an explosion of flavor.. perfectly sweet, rich, and unlike anything I've had before. The Adobo Fried Rice Omelet was a savory masterpiece, but what truly stole my heart was the Sisig. Hands down, it's my absolute favorite! The crispy, sizzling pork with that perfect balance of tangy, spicy, and savory was pure comfort food at its finest. The atmosphere is cozy and vibrant, with the kind of welcoming energy that makes you want to linger. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall experience. Whether you're looking to try something new or you're already a fan of Filipino flavors, Lola's by MFK will absolutely blow you away. It's a must-visit, and trust me, you'll leave craving more!"

Yelp
The wait was very long, there isn't much seating. However, once you order the food comes out really fast. I wish I got to try their drinks because they had a lot of yummy sounding options, I like how they offer a drink flight! I wasn't a fan of their adobo omelette. The fried rice was SO so mushy and difficult to eat. Too much of the same flavor and texture, everything on their menu looked extremely saucy (for both sweet and savory options) so come here only if you like that

Yelp
Nestled among the industrial office spaces near Angel Stadium, this cozy Filipino brunch spot is a hidden gem. Make sure to join the waitlist via the QR code at the front, as it's quite popular! On a Saturday morning, the place was buzzing with locals, families, and friends, creating a welcoming atmosphere. We couldn't resist sampling a bit of everything, ordering the Adobo Fried Rice Omelet, Bang-Silog, Bangus Sisig, and the Ube Tres Leches French Toast (sounds super sweet, I know. but TRUST ME--it's perfectly balanced!). Our table's favorites were the Bang-Silog and Ube Tres Leches French Toast. The Bang-Silog featured an entire milkfish, deboned, fried to a crispy perfection with a light batter. It was well-seasoned, not overly salty, and retained its fresh flavor. I couldn't resist eating every last bite--even the cheek meat! The fact that it was deboned made the experience more enjoyable, though as always, caution is advised with fish as smaller bones may remain. The Ube Tres Leches French Toast was a showstopper. We ordered the Ube drizzle on the side to control the sweetness, and it was incredible--decadent, smooth, and rich in flavor. Be warned: it will leave your lips and tongue stained purple, but it's worth it! ‍ The French toast itself was fluffy and not too sweet, although we didn't detect much of the tres leches flavor. It leaned more towards a coconut-ube fusion, which was still delicious. The Adobo Fried Rice Omelet, while good, didn't quite hit the mark for us. We had requested the sauce on the side, which may have impacted the flavor, but the dish lacked the rich, savory tang we expected. It felt more like a simple soy sauce fried rice with chicken. The Bangus Sisig, also made with milkfish, was served hot on a skillet, with the texture and taste reminiscent of a tuna melt or corned beef. The fish was finely chopped, resembling a ground meat filling, and paired with rice, eggs, and tomatoes for a hearty meal. Overall, I look forward to returning to explore more of their authentic dishes. I appreciated that nothing was overly salty or sweet--a pleasant surprise!

Yelp
I am embarrassed to say that I never knew about this place! A good friend of mine invited me to join him for an impromptu brunch, and Lola's by MFK delivered tenfold!! Our party of 4 waited around 45 minutes before we were called in, but it was worth the wait, 100%! Be sure to get on the waitlist ahead of time or show up right when they open. Lola's is located in a small corner strip mall, so if you have to wait, there's a coffee shop nearby and a few other places to check out. We ordered the Adobo Fried Rice Omelette, Bangus Sisig, Sweet Avocado Pancakes, and an Ube Cold Brew. Y'all know I'm not a fan of ube anything, but I took a sip from my friend, and it wasn't bad, but it's just not my cup of tea. I didn't taste the omelette, but it looked delicious. My 2 friends who each ordered their own left nothing behind, so you KNOW it was bomb diggity! I shared the Bangus Sisig and pancakes with my friend, and it was the perfect amount. I'm a HUGE sisig fan, and even though I'm not "supposed to" have it, I tend to give in to my cravings every now and then. The o.g. Filipino sisig dish is made with crispy chopped pork, blended with spices, onions, and peppers. I love it with vinegar! Lola's put their own twist on it using bangus (milk fish). They finely mince the fish and season it to perfection. It comes to you on a sizzling platter. If you don't love something that comes on a sizzling platter, we cannot be friends, lol! I don't have a high tolerance for spice, but I would say it could use a tad more on the heat level scale. I doused my portion with vinegar, and my belly was happy! We shared the pancakes and agreed it was a nice balance of fluffy and sweet. I definitely would order all of it again, and I can't wait to try the rest of what's on their menu. Service was outstanding! Nicko was very patient with us and very friendly. He's SUPER CUTE too, lol! If you're wondering, yes, I got a pic with him, but I won't post it here because it was a "unique experience" that Yelp would probably take down anyway. =/ If you're lucky, you caught it on my IG stories, lol! This is a local, family-owned business, and I wholeheartedly recommend and support them! I'm sad I missed their dinner service, which they discontinued a few months ago. I hope to see them add more items to their already fabulous menu! Go out and support, and give my peeps some mad love! ;)

Yelp
My second time here and experience was great each time. This time I order the Kamayan Brunch plate that can feed 2-4 people. Great service from the waiter. Friendly and informative about the Kamayan Brunch plate. Really enjoyed, especially the longanisa and tocino. We had leftovers from it and I can't wait to eat it for lunch at work tonight right now. Great ambiance. The restaurant filled up pretty quick after we got seated. Almost all tables were filled with customers. We also ordered the mango Filipino juice and it was very delicious. Definitely would come back again because I enjoyed their ube waffles as well!

Yelp
Delicious Filipino food! Stumbled upon this gem when we were here for the weekend for a staycation Disney vacay (from Moorpark). The bang-silog and spam and ube pancakes were amazing! Brought me back to my childhood days when my Lola would cook for us. Service was so kind and kid friendly with books for the kids to read. Thank you!

Yelp
Love this brunch spot! I wasn't sure what to expect, but this spot exceeded my expectations. The service here was great and the food came out so fast. All the flavors were amazing and quite authentic. I think our favorite item we got was the Bangus Sisig. Definitely need to get this if you come and if you like fish. The drinks here were also amazing. We tried a variety of the coffee drinks & calamansi sangria / juices. Will definitely come back and update with a more thorough review!

Yelp
I always see other reviews or IG stories about this place. So many people rave about it and say it is great. I have always tried to come here but the wait has always been horrible. So decided to go early on a Saturday morning. We got there a little bit before 9am and there was no wait. Definitely recommend coming this early to avoid the crowds. By the time we were done with our food, it got busy and all tables were full. The restaurant is really nice and clean. They have a green succulent wall to take pics in front of, a chalkboard that teached you how to speak Tagalog, and a back wall to remind you to bless your lolo and lola. Such a cool and chill decor to the restaurant which was a plus. My boyfriend is Filipino so I knew this was the place to try out. The food is your favorite dishes from the Phillipines with a Mexican fusion to some of the plates. So we definitely had our eyes on a few items on the menu; which means we will def be back to try out more stuff. Our waitress was great. She was quick to take our order, bring us our drinks, and serve the food. Which I might add, was really quick service. Definitely made the experience that much better. We ordered the mango juice, ube horchata, silog rice bowl, and the ube tres leches french toast with fruity pebbles and luck charms marshmallows. I also ordered a side of the tocino. Everything tasted really good and was filling. The ube on the french toast had a great taste and wasn't too sweet. I think the cereal atop added that special touch to the meal but I was a little ube'd out with the horchata and french toast. My fault though. I really want to try the Calimansi aguas frescas and sangria because they both sound refreshing. I cannot wait to return. Overall, great place to brunch. Restaurant is popular, gives great service, and the food is masarap (learned this during our visit). Just make sure to get there early or else you may have to wait awhile.

Yelp
My first time at this Filipino restaurant and it did not disappoint! We came during brunch time on a Sunday and joined the waitlist on their website. For a party of 2 around 12 pm, there were 17 parties ahead of us so we weren't sure how much time it would take for us to get seated but I joined it anyways. You can join from anywhere so make sure to do that before you head there! We got there around 12:20 pm and was number 10 on the list but as we walked in and asked for a wait time, they were actually able to seat us right away! We got the sisig which was very tasty, esp with the garlic rice. My first time eating this dish and I rate it a 9.2/10. It only comes with one small bowl of rice which wasn't enough for two people so order an additional rice if you like to eat a lot of rice. We also got the ube french toast, 8.9/10. The pandan cold brew was surprisingly so good and very well balanced, 9/10. The food also comes out really fast so we were happy about that. Our waitress was very kind but it was hard to get her attention bc it was busy. The ambiance in here is very casual, no music playing so you can focus on conversing with family and friends. Overall, loved this place and can't wait to come back and try other dishes! (:

Yelp
I was super excited to try this Filipino brunch place for the first time! It's located right off the freeway in a plaza filled with other restaurants. The wait was pretty long on a weekend since it's a smaller restaurant. Luckily, one of the workers brought some iced water out to us since it was so hot outside. We waited for around 30-45 minutes, but it didn't feel long at all since there were a lot of other restaurants to browse. I ordered the silog bowl with longanisa as my protein. I wasn't a fan of the tomato salad, but the rest of the bowl was great. The longanisa was perfectly cooked and was both sweet and savory. Unfortunately, I didn't taste much garlic in the garlic rice which was disappointing. I also thought the portions were small for the price I paid. I was eager to try the ube pancakes, but unfortunately they were very mediocre. There wasn't much ube flavoring at all, and I mainly just tasted the coconut flakes. The pancakes were also very dry despite all the ube syrup on top. Overall, I would probably not get the ube pancakes again. I definitely recommend the silog bowl with the longanisa though!

Yelp
Lola's has become such a staple for me! The food is consistently good and the service is always friendly and amazing. My go-tos are the ube pancakes and birria chilaquiles! This is the perfect spot for brunch with your friends and family!

Yelp
Service was quick, the food was amazing. I got the loco moco, and it's a perfect serving size.

Yelp
Lola's by MFK is a great place for brunch. I thoroughly enjoyed my brunch date with the family. Loved my longsilog bowl and ube pancakes. Ube horchata - OMG!!! I had to really try to take this drink slow because I could have easily chugged it down in one sip. The wait was a bit of a thing; even with the online wait-list we waited about an hour for our name to be called. It's hard to tell how long the wait is going to be. It's definitely worth a try despite all of that. Perhaps next time I'll do the online wait list and the drive over with fingers crossed. Service was great once you're in. People are friendly and helpful. Parking was easy.

Yelp
A breakfast spot to check out in Anaheim. A filipino spot to try if you are craving or interested in trying. The adobo chicken fried rice was good, actually had more flavor than the "adobo rice" from Jollibee but felt like it could "be more". The silog bowls are good choices for a pick your protein. We always have to try the ube pancakes if a spot is offering, fluffy and saucy. Service was very friendly and quick, we were able to eat and EV charge up all in good time!

Yelp
What a cute place! The food was spectacular. I had the bangus with garlic fried rice and my friends had the birria chilaquiles, birria breakfast burrito, loco moco, and Ferrero Roche pancakes to share for the table. For drinks we had the Thai tea cold brew and the pandan cold brew. Let me just sayyyy amazing. We got there quite early so it wasn't busy, but when we left there was a line. The service was great. We actually found this place by mistake looking for another restaurant. Actually one of the workers we asked for directions said that the restaurant was better than the one we were going to go to anyways. So we took a lucky stop and we were not disappointed.

Yelp
Came here before heading to Disneyland. Was super excited to see what the hype was all about. In my opinion the hype is just that - all hype! We got the adobo fried rice omelet. We thought it was just ok. The flavor was lacking, something was missing. Nothing really special about it. You can basically make it at home. Also got the iloco moco which was actually better than the omelet. The chicken fried steak was seasoned and fried well. But the eggs were over cooked that the bottom of them were kinda rubbery and chewy. The adobo gravy was a nice touch and complimented the garlic rice. Our server was nice and very helpful. Overall it was just an ok experience and most likely would not be coming back.

Yelp
Love this place! But as a heads up after 3 look up "Pancitas Modern Filipino Kitchen" bc I guess they are different for lunch/dinner. I personally LOVE their sisig. But have tried a ton of different things (for breakfast and lunch and love it all... Other fav is longanisa in the morning!) Its got a nice crunch with the chicharon. Its a place we like to bring people to have Filipino food or just something different. Staff is always really nice and helpful. Never had a problem there. It can get busy but personally Im willing to wait.

Yelp
Looking for some filipino cuisine near disneyland, Lola's is always my go to! Staff is friendly, food is delicious, and the ambiance of the restaurant makes me feel welcomed and at home! Bangui Sisig is delicious! slightly oily, but that's how it is. Ube pancakes were exceptionally good.

Yelp
Such a fun and delicious brunch place! We arrived around 11:30am on a holiday and waited about 20 mins -- not too bad. We ordered the chicken adobo friend rice, bangsilog, lumpia, and the calamansi juice. Chicken adobo fried rice was SO good, especially the gravy. I just wish it had a bit more chicken, but it was okay. The vinegar was a nice kick but not too overwhelming, at least for a non-Filipino. My husband ordered the bangsilog, and that was pretty simple. I wish the rice had more garlic though. Lumpia was good, but nothing too special. Wish it was bigger for the price we paid. Calamansi juice was the best that I've tried, not too sweet. Everything was good, and we would definitely come back!

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday morning hours before my school meeting with my mom. The inside is soo nice; came in listening to OPM music with Ratatouille playing in the background and it was a vibe! The server was a kind man and everything came in an a neatly manner. I got the Tocilog bowl and I really liked it! It was full of flavor; and the garlic rice was good as well. My mom enjoyed hers and liked that she was able to get a heavy portion of tomatoes- they're very accomodating! This is a nice homage to home if youre out on a trip in Socal, and you want a reminder of it. Would go here again!

Yelp
Went here because we wanted to have Filipino brunch! There was a long wait, but make sure you go to their website because they have their waitlist there. We had 18 parties ahead of us and we waited for about 45 minutes. The restaurant was not too spacey, but people come and go fast. We tried their top menus but disappointed with their garlic rice because we didn't taste the garlic at all. The fish.. Oh my Godnesss, we didn't find any bone at all! One of the best fish dishes we have had. Ube toast was so good as well! I wish they served the waffle towards the end and not altogether but it's still good! Adobo fried rice is flavorful as well. Parking is plenty in the Plaza

Yelp
When we arrived around 11am weekdays, it's already full. So we just wait for 10min prob. Service fast, food come out fast . Parking: lots of space, but tight. Menu: qr code Restroom: 1 gender neutral Place is clean and nice. We ordered: Lumpia pork - comes in 8 small bite size pieces for $10, It's nice and crusty. Comes with sweet spicy sauce. Loco moco - instead a hamburger meat, it's a deep fried one. You can more gravy if you need. It's a 1 person size dish. Sweet avocado Pancakes - it comes with 2 fluffy one. I like it not too sweet. Could use more though. Overall it's pretty good.

Yelp
We got the: Bang-silog: Fried Bangus (Milkfish), lightly seasoned with salt & pepper then brushed with spiced vinegar. Served alongside, a bowl of garlic rice topped with a sunny-side-up egg & garnished with fresh cherry tomato salad, green onions, & fried garlic. Iloco Moco: Country fried steak, two sunny eggs, garlic rice, smothered in adobo gravy topped with green onions & fried garlic. Two Eggs Classics: Spam, house potatoes and scrambled eggs. Sides: Longanisa and Tocino Pandan Beer on Tap: Pandan Beer from BrewYard, where the unique aroma of pandan leaves infuses a refreshing, light brew with subtle vanilla notes, creating a tropical twist on your favorite beer. The service at Lola's was attentive and friendly. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. The food came out fast. It took about 10 minutes from the time we ordered. This place can get pretty crowded so you definitely should get on the waitlist before coming. You can call or also use their website. The restaurant's atmosphere is perfect for both a family dinner or a quiet date night. I loved that they had a sign that translated some of the tagalog words to English and especially the beautiful mural of Mano po, Lola. When meeting an older family member, we would customarily greet them with Pagmamano-a distinct tradition in every Filipino family to give respect to the elders. Can't wait to go back and try their other items on their menu.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my finances birthday before heading to Disneyland. My fiancé said, "we need to come here before every Disney trip". I was really grateful to the server who was able to make me scrambled eggs since I could not have the sunny side up. I had forgot to mention it while ordering and they still made me a side free of charge. It was a small restaurant that was pretty busy. We were surprised at how quickly it filled at 10am but weren't surprised after we ate. We will definitely come back with friends to try their family platter!

Yelp
Finally got to try some Filipino style breakfast for brunch. Here's what I ordered: * Longanisa silog bowl with a side of beef tapa It came with 3 sausages, cherry tomato salad, a sunny side up egg and some garlic rice. It was pretty decent overall. The beef tapa was a bit too salty and dry for my taste though. * Bangus Sisig Chopped Milkfish on a skillet with onions and chilies. This was filling and had a decent amount of flavor. *Cold brew flight This was pretty fun to drink and try. It came with pandan, milo chocolate, thai tea, and ube. I had a hard time telling which drink was ube and which one was milo as they were similar shades of brown. I was expecting the ube one to be a bit more vibrant and purple. The overall ambiance and service was pretty nice. I also had an okay time finding parking. I'd totally come back to try their other items

Yelp
I would say overall this place is a 4.5/5! Had to wait about 20 mins, after joining the waitlist on their website. Service was very welcoming. This place does get busy quickly though, so just a heads up! - Kamayan brunch platter (4.5/5). Was enough for 4 of us and was pretty good! I docked off 0.5 because the tapa was a bit dry and chewy. But everything else was yummm. - Adobo fried rice omelette (3/5). Decent! This one was okay, but I'm glad I tried it. Still finished all of it lol - Calamansi juice (5/5). A classic. Refreshing, not super sweet! This restaurant takes your traditional reminiscent Filipino flavors, but adds a modern twist. They have a lot of options on their menu. The ambiance feels very homey and relaxed; a nice place to have brunch. I'll be back in the future to try more!

Yelp
came here randomly since i was in the area. have had this place on my list for a while so i am happy i finally got to try it! LOVE the bangus, my fave fave fish! also ordered the loco moco plate, country fried steak with gravy & sunny side up egg. DELICIOUS. i ordered the mango mimosas, wasn't able to get a pic because I drank it LOL. our server was attentive & recommended the sisig plate, so maybe i will try that next time! i love the decor & the "tagalog word of the day" board was a really cute touch.

Yelp
Great concept for Filipino brunch. Dishes and drinks arrived within minutes of ordering, surprisingly fast. Ube horchata and sangria had hints of the flavors described in the menu. Refreshing but nothing special. Loco moco had great favors. The garlic rice wasn't overpowering; you can still kiss your date afterwards without worry. Chicken fried steak and sunny side up eggs were perfectly cooked. I just wish it had more gravy. Sinigang salsa verde was underwhelming. The tamarind flavor could have been stronger. If sinigang wasn't listed on the menu, I wouldn't be able to tell. Great service! Efficient and kind.

Yelp
The food always slaps here. And slaps as in ... damn it good. They also serve Asian flavored beers and coffees/lattes. Portions are good sized and worth every dime. Longanisa bowl didn't feel like it was heavy and the Adobo fried rice omelette was big and could only finish half. If you go early you won't wait so long but it's always usually packed but all the employees are so sweet and attentive. TIP: go to their website to reserve your spot online! If you go during a busy time it could take you one hour but you can always chill and get a coffee at La Mill which is a few doors down to kill time. Parking: small lot but there's additional parking if you are down to walk further away.

Yelp
TL;DR - solid filipino brunch spot! would rec to anyone to try out, 4.5/5 overall FOOD: *adobo omelet - this was pretty good! basically its chicken adobo fried rice inside an omelet. chicken was cooked nice. solid flavors but it didn't "wow" me. i would be fine not getting this again. 3/5 *sisig - my partner got this but i got to try some and it was honestly my fav out of the two! it was so yummy! not too heavy and had a nice lil kick spice-wise. the flavor was balanced between the acidity and creaminess of the ingredients. would definitely get this next time i come here! 5/5 SERVICE: our server gave us great recs and answered our questions thoroughly. super friendly! 5/5 WAIT: when my partner and i swung by, there was no wait. 5/5 PRICE: for everything after tax and tip, it was around $45 which is fair for the quality and size of the dishes! 5/5

Yelp
OH YEAH. In-house Filipino inspired beers (calamansi and ube??) and Filipino fusion brunch specialities (alongside some of the classics??) - count me in. The wait was long, make sure to hop on the waitlist! Once you get seated and order though, food comes out FAST . Everything here was really yummy and worth the wait. I really loved the calamansi beer here and the bangus sisig! I'd for sure come again!

Yelp
I grew up on traditional Filipino food, with filipino breakfast especially being the highlight in our household. Because of this, I was a bit hesitant to try this spot because of the pricing. However, if you're new to Filipino cuisine, this is a great place to start. The menu is modern and fun, offering a different twist on classic dishes. The ube French toast caught my eye, so we ordered that, and it was delicious! The bangus sisig was creamier than I expected, with a lot of mayo, but still good. The tapa and longanisa bowl were okay, though I might be biased since I have these at home. However, these bowls are good starters if you're new to the cuisine! Overall, this restaurant offers a unique take on Filipino food that's worth trying, especially for those new to the cuisine. Personally, I can see myself only returning if a friend or family member wants to try this spot.

Yelp
One of the best brunches I have had by far! The server was very friendly and helped us with some recommendations due to my indecisive nature :) If you are new to Filipino food, I feel that this would be a great and yummy introduction to the amazing cuisine. The vibes are very adorable and serene/home-y so it would be great to come with friends and family! Recommendations: * everything was SO GOOD but if i had to choose * - Jeepney Breakfast Burrito - Nutella Abuelitas French Toast - The Drink in the picture below (server's recommendation) - forgot the name!! but has alcohol in it

Yelp
Such a fun place for breakfast / brunch! Staff was super nice and provided so many different recommendations. So many different options for drinks and meals, there's definitely an option for everyone. A cute location with great photo ops and good vibes. Definitely on my must visit next time I visit LA.

Yelp
Sooooo Good! Started with an iced pandan coconut coffee (dairy-free), we had amazing Silog longaniza breakfast bowl & Ube French toast. Definitely get a side of Tocino! Super good. I am putting this on my favorites list!! We will eat here when visiting Anaheim. This place is in between Disneyland and Honda Center near commercial buildings, somewhat hidden, but right near the 57 freeway exit and a great find! Super nice servers/staff as well

Yelp
Lola's by MFK is a great spot for Filipino breakfast eats. My go-to is the longanisa silog bowl, which is pretty tasty. You get a good portion, but also not too much, so it's enough for one person to finish, in my opinion. I also like to order the Ube Horchata. If you haven't tried it, I recommend doing so as it's a different take on Horchata and it's also not too sweet. Price point seems fair for what you get considering each portion is a decent size on top of it being good quality. I recommend giving this place a try!

Yelp
I charge my Tesla here. So this is a major plus! Parking: Ample. But I can see how it could be hard to park since they also have other restaurants and coffee shop plus the Tesla supercharger. Brick and Mortar: Beautifully designed and styled. Clean, functional and cozy. Employee: Very kind and helpful. Ralph (I think), very attentive and made great suggestions for first timer like us. Food: Silog - Tocini Bowl: The best combo bowl + the juiciest Ticino meats! Seasoned white rice, tasty cherry tomatoes salad, juicy tocino, topped with fried egg. I cannot brag more. I inhale this bowl so quick! Ube tres leches French toast. Perfectly made French toast. Soft and crispy at the same time. Of course with the best combo: tres leches + ube sauce! Yes! Will be back again for sure!
