"The parking lot is likely full and you may have to wait for a seat, but this efficient Cantonese parlor is more than capable of handling its crowds, which haven’t let up since day one. Adding to the buzz of this bright dining room is a massive TV that runs down the length of the wall, as well as a host of keen-eyed servers roaming the restaurant floor. The absence of dim sum carts doesn’t always guarantee quality, but plates turned out of this kitchen are both small and large, freshly prepared and appropriately hot. Golden-brown skewers of sugarcane shrimp, plump orbs of pork siu mai, and fluffy steamed buns filled with chicken and dried scallops all delight. Best of all though may be the rice noodle rolls flecked with barbecue pork or shrimp." - Michelin Inspector

"There’s a lot of great dim sum in Los Angeles, but Rosemead’s Cantonese spot is among the best of them. Go with a group to try as much of the menu as possible, which includes dishes like its glistening lobster dumplings and lobster noodles, irresistible har gow, and saucy shrimp cheung fun. Recognized as a Michelin Bib Gourmand, expect a wait on the weekends during peak dim sum hours." - Mona Holmes

"Prices are on the higher side at Longo Seafood Restaurant, but the dim sum here is solid. The lobster noodles are always popular, as are the scallop dumplings with roe, flaky barbecue pork pastries, baked barbecue pork buns, snowcap oatmeal buns, XO spicy steamed chicken feet, and the roast pork and barbecue pork rice roll. Don’t forget to order the almond souffle for dessert, which consists of hot almond milk with gingko nuts wrapped in a dome of puff pastry. Dim sums are tasty and there’s a lot to choose from such as Baked Almond Tea, stewed Herbal Chicken Feet, etc.. which are not widely offered at other dim sums. For dim sum, sometimes the tea is overshadowed, but the tea here is fragrant, dimensional and not just watered down which can be common. The manager with glasses is very friendly and goes around greeting customers. There’s an older gentleman I’m assuming who doesn’t speak English but is friendly and tries his best making the barrier not much of an issue.

One of the best dimsum restaurants I have ever been to. It is bustling on the weekends especially for lunch. The interior is like a large banquet hall with several private rooms as well. Everything is very delicious and well portioned. Very satisfying and affordable.

We celebrated friends’ birthdays here with a seafood banquet. The service was good and attentive. The food itself was hit or miss. The crab wasn’t the freshest and a soup-rice dish was very salty that people with weak kidneys should definitely avoid. The steamed fish was decent as were the tofu/mushroom/broccoli. The lobster salad had only a hint of lobster, not sure where the rest of the body went even when there was an empty shell on display when the salad was served.

I came here for dinner with friends after an event and the food doesn’t disappoint. You can tell the quality is good and also the taste. I also like the presentation. Definitely a Chinese restaurant to check out if you’re in the area and the service was great.

Ordered an assortment of dim sum; Longo Shu Mai, Ha Gow, Spring Rolls, Chiu Chow Fun Gor, Honeycomb Taro, and Beef Chow Fun. The Shu Mai was a decent sized portion of 4, and each one had a good blend of pork and shrimp stacked inside. It’s nice to see and taste the shrimp and pork separately as you bite into it, and of course the fish roe on top is always sweet. The Ha Gow was a decent size too, each one was packed with about 4 medium sized shrimp, well worth getting. Both Shu Mai and Ha Gow are staples of dimsum and this places does it right. The Spring Rolls are something you can get every so often, done really well and packed full of veggies inside with a soy sauce and vinegar mix on the side. The Chiu Chow Fun Gor were also well packed with assorted peanuts, mushrooms, and other assorted greens. The honeycomb taro is a fried dimsum that has a fragile honeycomb-like exterior with a dense taro filling and pork inside. And finally, the beef chow fun was ordered with light salt and light msg. This is a great noodle dish to order with decent slices of beef flank interspersed in the noodles and the portion is a good shareable size. Service was prompt if you sat in the main area but the sectioned area might be hard to get their attention. Interior is very gold themed in subtle ways, a balance of elegant and simple. Parking here can be difficult with a medium sized parking lot so you’ll likely have to park on the street when it gets busy.

Google
A great place to yum-cha in this area! You can make reservations for more than six people usually as late as a day in advance, other than that, the place looks amazing with a big LED screen as well as nice ceiling decorations and VIP areas as needed! The food and dim sum selection is very good and has a lot of variety including some common items such as crab claws and black truffle siu mai! They also have different rice rolls available other than shrimp! The staff is friendly and you can order more as needed!

My family recently came here to celebrate my dad's birthday. It's our first time here for dinner, but we've been here countless times for dim sum which is pretty solid. They were doing a king crab promotion at $29.99/lb. So my parents who love king crab wanted to go check it out. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday night, but the king crab promotion was probably what drove in the crowd. Service was very slow given there was only a few waiters working. We ordered the kind crab, and our waitress brought the crab out for us to see, stating that it's 8.8 lbs. It's not my first time having king crab, and I've bought live whole king crabs plenty of times from the fish market. The crab our waitress brought out didn't look anywhere near 8.8 lbs. I was pretty skeptical about the weight of the crab, it looked maybe 7 lbs at most to me. Then she asked if we wanted to cook it 3-ways, and suggested noodles in the shell, egg yolk for the knuckles, and garlic vermicelli steamed legs. We excitedly agreed to her suggestion. She then proceeded to recommend a red grouper fish, a chicken dish, and a couple of veggie dishes. The food came out very slow because they happened to have a big party in another section of the restaurant. We were starving by the time our food came. We had to wait almost 20 mins between each dish. And the king crab we received was beyond disappointing. The crab dishes were super small, no way the same crab our waitress showed us. And definitely not even 6 lbs of crab. They absolutely pulled a switcheroo on us. It's a total scam, and we're disgusted by the level of greed and dishonesty. Also, all the suggestions she made for the 3-way crab dishes was an additional upcharge that she didn't bother to mention. The additional was $44! And on top of that, she didn't mention the market price of the red grouper, which was $47.99/lb. The fish itself was $115! The rest of the food was unremarkable, and the veggies almost inedible. They also automatically tacked on 18% gratuity. So our whole meal was outrageous and disappointing. Never again.

Yelp
First Visit to [Restaurant Name] - A Dim Sum Feast We decided to check out this place after hearing about it from Rockstar Eater on YouTube. He raved about the flavors, so we had to see for ourselves. Right away, we noticed that the front lobby area is spacious--great for when it gets busy, giving you a place to sit while waiting, unlike many other dim sum spots. The décor looks like it was trendy in the early 2000s, and you can tell they invested some money into it. Beyond dim sum, they offer a wide variety of dishes, though it's not the cheapest option. Many of the tables were occupied by large groups celebrating, which makes sense--the pricing is more suited for a gathering rather than a quick, casual meal. My husband and I love variety, so we ended up spending $80 (including tip). It felt a bit pricey, but we left with plenty of leftovers. What We Ordered: * Lotus Leaf-Wrapped Sticky Rice - Stuffed with diced pork, chicken, a piece of Chinese sausage, and duck yolk. Nice touch! * Char Siu Bao - Fluffy, slightly on the sweeter side, decent but not exceptional. * Football-Shaped Meat Pie - Deep-fried with a mochi-like outer shell. So good and larger than usual! * BBQ Pork Rice Noodle Roll - The same BBQ pork as in the char siu bao, wrapped in a soft noodle roll with a soy-based sauce (almost like ponzu but without the tang). Very tasty. * Shu Mai - Huge, filled with pork and a generous amount of shrimp. Came out piping hot and was delicious. * Pork Riblets with Kabocha Pumpkin - Coated in starch and steamed. Could have been cooked a little longer, but my husband enjoyed it. * Shredded Pork & Century Egg Porridge - Completely lacking in flavor. A pass for us. * Scallop & Shredded Crab Dumplings - Oddly, the menu didn't mention shrimp, but these were packed with it. The crab was real, which was a nice surprise. My favorite dish--absolutely scrumptious! * Squid Ink Egg Custard Bao - Looks fancy, but this is common at dim sum places. Still, very good, with a rich eggy lava filling. * Deep-Fried Mochi Balls with Egg Custard - Similar to the squid ink baos but slightly greasier. I actually preferred these over the squid ink version. Final Thoughts: This was a great find, though in hindsight, we could have skipped a few items. The porridge was a definite miss, and we probably didn't need two similar eggy desserts. If we had cut back on a few things--like skipping the sticky rice and choosing just one dessert bao--we would have saved about $21, making the final bill more reasonable for two people. That said, we'd definitely return, just with a slightly more strategic order next time!

Yelp
We're here at the open and was swarmed by aunties and uncles trying to get in front of us even they came after us. One old lady even yelled at us because she could not get in front of us since there were so many people trying to fit through the door all at once. That is the Chinese way and I found it amusing. It reminds of that Star Wars Meme from the Mandolin series that creed they say to each other "THIS IS THE WAY". This is was our favorite spot for fancy Dim Sum but it was not as good as we remember. It looks like all the good chef's got herded to Chef Tony's. Everything was not as good as we remember. The taste. The presentation. I had high hopes for the Lobster dumping but it was just ok. It needed some sauce like how they do it at Pallet where they give you tiny squeeze bottle and you can inject it in the the dumpling would have been nice. This still beats most of the places in Las Vegas.

Yelp
Been here twice now. Our first experience was definitely better than the second. Some items just weren't as good as they originally were. So I was kinda disappointed by that. Food isn't really bad by any means but just not as good as it was before in terms of taste, seasoning and temperature. I'd say it's more like a 3.7 now. Service is good though.
google avatar

Yelp
Been here a few times now for both dim sum and dinner. Food is always excellent - probably the best dim sum I've had in the SGV. dinner foods are great with seafood dishes being the standouts, especially anything live. Service is what you'd expect from a Chinese restaurant - you just need to flag down waiters
google avatar

Emily L.

Yelp
My family reserved a banquet room in the back and ordered a ton of dishes. Everything was delicious. I only had photos of my favorites unfortunately since I didn't want to hold up the eating. One star off since service was slow and inattentive even though we were in a VIP room. We had to go outside the room to find a waiter a few times. Also, the parking was packed so you are left trying to find street parking. Not sure if it was just that day or the usual. I didn't bother driving into the lot since I saw a car backup.

Yelp
Quick recap of our order: Hot and sour soup 4/5 Honey walnut shrimp 4/5 King crab 3 ways - HK style 4/5 - Steam garlic with vermicelli 4/5 - crab fried rice 3/5 Beef and mushroom 3/5 Ong Choy 4/5 Fried intestine 4/5 Red bean tapioca desert 5/5 ----- Came to check out their promotion on king crab, it's $29.99/lb. Arrived for an early dinner and there wasn't much of a wait, we were able to be seated fairly quickly. The wait staff was attentive and provided an exceptional experience for us. Will definitely be back to try more!

Yelp
Came here for a family dinner. Service was good. There was ample parking in the back. Loved the fried lobster, noodles, filet mignon cubes, walnut shrimp. They also give complimentary dessert!

Yelp
This has become my go to spot for dim sum whenever I'm back in the area. The service is alright although there are times when it's harder to get someone's attention. The food is good and the shrimp dumpling and pork shumai are larger than usual. They are typically the items that are always ordered. The pork spare ribs are usually good and the tripe is a family favorite. My mom usually gets the lava salted egg yolk bun which is definitely a crowd pleaser. Overall the ambiance is what one is use to when going to a dim sum restaurant in the 626. There have been times where we wish the food was hotter but usually the restaurant is consistent with their dishes.

Yelp
Great seafood. Nice interior. Great service (maybe because we were in VIP room). The seafood tastes fresh and delicious. The soy sauce chicken is also quite good. Would definitely come again. Keep in mind it's in a lowkey wack area but at least there's a parking lot with lots of spaces.

Yelp
This review is strictly for the dim sum. I went to Longo Seafood in Rosemead today since I was off for Juneteenth. This place was one of my favorite dim sum restaurants in the 626 because of the lobster Har Gows, but today I ordered a lot of the traditional dim sum plates. By comparison, this restaurant has better texture, flavor and proportions compared to Capital and 888 seafood. My favorite items in order: Siu Mai: giant and juicy Beef chow fun: big portions and lots of wok hei Har Gows: great texture Charcoal egg yolk baos Dislike dishes: taro hom siu gok: too oily Cheung fun( rice rolls) texture was too clumpy Overall the food tasted awesome. One tidbit that I didn't like was that they added gratuity automatically for our party of 7. That part was not cool because most dim sum places have very poor service.
google avatar

Jaime T.

Yelp
Parking: Easy, with back lot or street parking available. I highly recommend going here for dim sum. I've been coming here for at least two years now. While Lunasia is my favorite due to its quality, Longo offers quantity/larger sized items and above-average quality. Service is as expected--rushed but not overly rude. Regardless of your party's size, they typically start with one sauce dish; just ask for more from the start. My recommendations include tripe, siu mai, har gow, turnip cake, and salted egg yolk bun. Needless to say, I will return

Yelp
This restaurant is a bullshit, I went there to order dinner, the manager named Jeff's attitude is horrible, and insulted customer. Don't do their business!!! This is the manager!
google avatar

Yelp
The food is amazing. My family love it James, the manager is great. He helped my elderly relatives selected food they would love
google avatar

Yelp
This review is only about one visit and one specific dish. My mom and I've had this dish a few times before... let's just say that some of the noodles were undercooked... it's an authentic Cantonese restaurant.. I'm always too scared to send the food back. Unfortunately there's the assumption that many cooks from this type of restaurant may be offended and I don't want to my food to include unnecessary saliva in return. I've always found the dim sum here way more superior than other places. Some of the staff are quite welcoming but their managers can be a little too comfortable with their clientele. I won't be ordering this dish here again.

Yelp
The undisputed star of the evening was the king crab special, priced at a reasonable $29 per pound. We had the pleasure of experiencing this culinary treasure in three distinctive preparations: golden egg yolk stir-fried, steamed with garlic and vermicelli, and the classic e fu noodles. For those who are salt sensitive, we had some dishes that went heavy handed with seasoning. Also the complimentary dessert at the end was not pleasant to eat. It was a red bean dessert that was lukewarm and had a very gummy texture. Service was appropriate for a restaurant like this and they came around to replace dishes throughout the dinner service as we had bones and shells on our plate. For those dining in large groups, a 15% gratuity is automatically included, which certainly simplifies the evening.
google avatar

Joanne L.

Yelp
Their king crab was made into 3 dishes and it was amazing. As for pricing per pound wasn't that bad. One thing I didn't enjoyed were their bowls & dishes, it was dirty. Services like wise were amazing.

Yelp
Not bad for your typical dim sum! All items are ordered in advance using a pencil and paper menu, no aunties pushing around carts. Pricing is decent too, given how expensive dim sum has gotten over the years. Food: - Shu Mai: comes in 4 as usual, BUT they are almost twice the size! Also great flavor and comes out hot. - Har Gow: comes in 4, also huge pieces of shrimp. - Steamed BBQ Pork buns: nothing too special. - Shrimp Cheung Fun: we didnt get to try this item because it never came out, so we cancelled it. - Soy sauce noodles with bean sprouts: would have been better if it came out hot. The noodles were cold so I dont know how fresh it was. - Durian Pastry: Skip.. very little durian and the taste was very light/subtle. Kind of dry and plain. - Sticky Rice Wrap: Also good and they add chicken, which is a little different. - Chicken Feet: some big chicken feet, some small chicken feet. Flavor is good though.
google avatar

Yelp
Classic dim sum spot! A bit of a wait, service may seem rushed, but the food is traditional and all part of the experience. Space is pretty big and can get packed. They specialize more in the seafood options too if you want something more entree style. The shrimp and chive dumplings were one of my standouts. Overall, it can be an intimidating experience if you're not used to dim sum, but one that foodies should try if they haven't!
google avatar

Connie D.

Yelp
The food is awesome, but it seriously takes forever for your order to arrive--like, how about a million years? The staff is super busy, and no one comes to check on you, so you end up having to follow up twice just to get your food. Come on! They should really think about not taking on so many customers at once if they can't keep up. Not the best start.
google avatar

John D.

Yelp
This is easily one of the best dim sum restaurants in SoCal. I have no idea why this place has 3.3 stars. I've been coming here for years. I grew up eating dim sum and I seek out dim sum restaurants, so I have a high bar for this cuisine. The restaurant itself is huge and has lots of seating. They don't do carts here. You order with a pencil and paper, which makes it so much easier for non-Chinese speakers. I speak purely English with the workers here and I have no issues. Their menu has all the major hits and some of my favorites which are not as common in dim sum restaurants anymore. I usually like to order the cucumber salad, crispy pork, siu mai, har gow, turnip cake, soy sauce chow mein with bean sprouts, sticky fried rice, and pineapple custard bun. All of these dishes here are top notch. No matter where you live in LA or even OC, it's worth the drive.
google avatar

Stef M.

Yelp
Our first time trying this place, we like some of the food here but not all. The scallop and egg fried rice, beef chowmein and porridge are some of the good stuffs. The dimsums are good but definitely not the best in town. The sesame balls though, worth mentioning on it's own, the outside is crispy and have a very nice crunch the inside is soft delicious mochi-like, and the filling is also nice the sweetness level is just right. This place is pretty busy so don't expect a great service, but honestly it's s not bad at all. The crowd is loud but it's okay, afterall it's a dimsum place!
google avatar

Ming T.

Yelp
My parents likes to come here for dim sum but it's not among my top choice for dim sum. Mainly because the quality is inconsistent. Some days it's good. Some days it's ok. However, the soy sauce chicken here is always very good. Service is very friendly and efficient. Tables are spaced comfortably apart so even when it busy you still have personal space. During my last visit they were cleaning out something from a manhole in the parking lot and the smell was horrible. So it did not leave a great last impression However, I would dine here again if my parents want to but this isn't my pick for dim sum.

Yelp
The place was very nice and felt fancy. They had plenty of parking! The food was okay though as well as some of the cutlery were dirty. Some dishes were either bland or really salty, like the dao miao (stir fried pea shoots w garlic) we got. We got a salted egg version of the king crab and it was different, but nothing special. The clams were my favorite as it was the perfect amount of flavor and very clean. The vermicelli with the king crab was a nice touch. I liked it more than the crab itself. *** I'm rating this two stars because the service was absolutely HORRIBLE! It took forever (over 15 mins) for someone to take our order. They even forgot to take down some dishes we mentioned. Then they even forgot some dishes that were on the order sheet, and when we tried to cancel it because it didn't show up for a while (at least over 20 minutes after the last dish we received / realized we didn't get everything), they said no, it's already being made...AND WORST OF ALL, the waiter YELLED at my family saying it's all our fault and stormed off. We didn't think his attitude at the beginning of the night would continue and end like this, but we were wrong. We are never coming back here. The only thing special about this place would be the king crab but it ain't worth what we had to endure. To top it all off, it was my grandpa's birthday, so it will forsure be in our memory for a looong time.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Yeah, I heard it's a Michelin recommended spot and specifically the crab dishes there is good. I say the taste and flavor is good, but not heavenly. Only a couple dishes that we ordered there were memorable. The crab meat was sweet and juicy, but it was difficult to crack and retrieve the meat from the shell. The abalone was okay however the gravy that came with it was full with flavor. The guy was served us was kind and helpful, but how everything came out to be was just messy. We waited for awhile for refills of drinks, they would just leave the food on the side and not serve it to us on our plates, and it took forever to get assistance even though the place was almost empty. Overall, gotta give this place 4/5 because of the food to be fair. Would have been lower with the service and all, but it was something that I expected.
google avatar

Ernest K.

Yelp
It's been a while since we found a Chinese restaurant worth driving out from the comforts of our OC bubble for. This place does dim sum right. Their tsumai is extra plump and the turnip cake has a nice extra crisp. I wouldn't make a special trip just for dim sum, but I would plan a meal here if I were in the area. They also have a good selection of fine wines and whiskey, so you know they cater to a discerning crowd.
google avatar

Ashley T.

Yelp
Longo might be a little more upscale than other dim sum places, but I didn't find it to be all that memorable aside from a few dishes. As expected, the wait on a Saturday morning was long. Parking is behind the restaurant and there is street parking. The wait system is extremely inconvenient and especially nowadays there are much better ways to manage a long wait list. You go in and get a numbered paper slip from the hostess table. There is a seating area for waiting, but it can get packed. After about a 30-40 minute wait in the morning, our table was seated. Of note, I'm not a fan of how the tables don't have a revolving tray/turn table. Service was honestly as expected for a dim sum place in that you would need to put in a little extra work to flag down a waiter. There are no dim sum carts here, but the food did come out in a reasonable amount of time. The standout dish of the day had to be their shui mai, which are jumbo sized. Not only are they huge, but the shui mai did back it up with the taste as well. Aside from that, everything else was fine. There is a huge variety of dishes to choose from, some of them being more elevated than your average dim sum. As such, prices are also a little higher. Overall, I can see why people like it here and it might be nice for special occasions but I might just stick with typical dim sum.

Yelp
I was looking for dim sum place around the area after doctor's appt. Found this one that serve dim sum until 3pm. I got there at 2:30pm, so I had to hurry and order any dim sum we want before the cutoff time. I highly recommended the siu mai - Huge and legit! The only one I will not recommend is the short ribs as it was super salty. All the other dim sum tasted good as well. Price is between $5-8 depends on what you are getting. However, servers do not come back and check on you once all the food is served. You have to get up and get the soy sauce you want. You need to go to the front and ask for boxes and check. Restaurant looks clean in the dining area. The restroom.... Sooooo dirty. There are 3 stalls in the lady's restroom. 2 stalls were full with toilet paper on the floor. The last stall was worst, still has p**p inside the toilet. Just curious if the restaurant has anyone schedule to clean or tidy up the restroom. Overall, I would like to give 3.5 stars but the rating won't allow me.

Yelp
If you're looking for a mid-tier family style/Chinese banquet type of dinner, look no further than Longo. For very mid tasting food, Longo does have some perks: 1) They apparently take dinner reservations - reducing the headache of long wait times especially during peak hours 2) They have a private lot + plenty of street parking Some dishes were a little lukewarm, while others were a little lacking. Take for instance the cube steak with sea salt with au jus ($27.99). The mushroom to meat ratio was very off with more mushroom than meat. I found the same to be true for a lot of the dishes like the kung pao chicken i.e. there were peanuts than chicken etc. The lobster + noodle dish was a steal at $42.99, but the dish itself is sprinkled with a handful of lobster bits. Portions are significantly smaller than other places hence the lower price tags, so keep that in mind when ordering. The food tastes like your table got served last at the wedding. It was good enough, resembled and tasted like our favorites, but nothing was particularly memorable. It was good enough for my large extended family on a busy Friday summer night.

Yelp
Shiu Mai Is definitely best anywhere Lobster plate wow so good and price decent for 4 people Har gow was good too Come back fore more. Long wait on weekend

Yelp
Let me tell you this place is just stunning and old school fancy restaurant in the middle of Rosemead Service is just amazing, they treat you like a royalty since you get there in their restaurant, not that I need to be treated like that but my respects for them and the whole passion and effort that they put into their business. Let's talk food, food is very traditional and you'll find all that menu in Chinese and I love it makes me think I'm in China about to delight some delicious food Flavors are simple and everything is on point, I totally stop here every time that I have a chance to have some comfort food, totally recommend for you and your family

Yelp
The best dimsum ever! As a local 626 girl, I love going here with my family. The lighting in here is very nice and brights. Service is fast, but that's just how dimsum places are! They hustle!! I highly recommend this place

Yelp
This review is not based on my personal taste but the taste of all who enjoys dim sum and crab. The portions were definitely generous. Way plumper than most dim sum places I've been to. In the picture there you'll see a king crab prepared 3 ways. One of them with the whole shell has eggs and crab meat baked into the dish. Pretty interesting. But I personally cannot stand places like this anymore. Passing by the tanks of creatures smushed together against their will- while having to deal with their family or some stranger just lying dead on top of them. All waiting for their ultimate death march to the chef's table. But to each their own. I understand there's tons of appeal there but.. cruelty doesn't begin to envelope the thought. I digress. The food and service were great. Obviously kind of greasy but still better than most dim sum places with a wide variety of choices. And if you can reserve a room, there's a private bathroom. That's some royal beans right there. I did enjoy that perk. And it was kept clean. Gaudy, but clean and extremely convenient.

Yelp
Large parking lot, busy afternoon full of families on Christmas Eve, large tables, quick service. Everything you expect from a dim sum restaurant. Hot sauce and mustard was abundant, tea kept flowing, but the shrimp rice noodles fell short cause they all stick together and made it unappetizing. However if you like shuimai, this place definitely delivers large and tasty ones so don't sleep on those!

Yelp
I'm still searching for our family go-to dim sum and was hopeful Longo would work. Invited two friends to join our little family of three and ordered the standard favorites, chicken feet, siumai, and har gow and everything was good, no issues. Nice sizes, tasty items...until we got raw cold shrimp inside of a black-colored seafood dumpling. I bit into the dumpling and saw gray shrimp - my dear friend is pregnant so we were concerned for her and luckily I caught it before she ate the dumpling. We showed the staff and someone took it away very quickly. It took a while before we received the replacement and it seemed sloppily made, not a tightly wrapped or well made dumpling. Further, we were never brought our beef noodle dish. It seemed that they possibly gave it to the table next to us, so we told them since all of our food already arrived and we were waiting so long we no longer wanted the noodles. We ended up having to speak to deal with three different staff to cancel. One staff told us it was too late the dish was ready, another said they would check and never came back, and one lady was very helpful and assured us it was removed from the check and not coming out. Unfortunately we did not have a great experience here so I cannot recommend it.

Yelp
I went to there for dim sum, I ordered like 7 dishes in total. We have been waiting for one of the dish for at least thirty mins already, and we already finished with everything else. So I asked their server if I can cancel that and get my bill, he said if it's already made then they can not cancel it. Really disappointed and never be back again.

Yelp
We've always liked dim sum here, but we're really turned off by our recent dinner experience. So my family came here to celebrate my dad's birthday. It's our first time here for dinner, but we've been here countless times for dim sum. We excitedly agreed to her suggestions. They also automatically tacked on 18% gratuity, which in this case they didn't deserve. So our whole meal was outrageous and disappointing. Never again.

Yelp
The dim sums here are very delicious, especially the Har Gow and Shiu Mai. Service here is good too! :)

Yelp
The restaurant is a Cantonese Seafood Restaurant. They can accommodate large parties and wedding banquets. Food is pretty good. We were at a wedding banquet and they decorated it in red and gold. It was nicely done! - Roasted Pig - Pan Fried Whole Sea Scallop - Seasoned Prime Beef with Squid & Asparagus in XO Sauce - Crab Meat with Bird's Nest Thick Soup - Braised Fresh Abalone with Sea Cucumber in Oyster Sauce - Salt Baked Chicken in Old Spice - House Baked Lobster with noodles - Steamed Whole Fish - Fried Rice with Dried Scallop & Egg white - Dessert Service was attentive and polite.

Yelp
King crab is in season and it's super cheap. Best place for birthdays and weddings. Tonight there was a party for a 100 year old birthday... happy birthday to her. WE had our private room for our good friend's birthday dinner and we ordered all the food we liked and had jumbo clam sashimi. Yum ...

Yelp
Arrived monday afternoon for a filling lunch after a long weekend. The place was beautiful on the inside and has a parking lot in the back on the outside which was conviennent. We had a large group so got quiet a few things. Some of them include: chicken feet, shumai dumpling , bamboo charcoal egg yol,k bun, eggplant, congee, shrimp and beef rice rolls! Everything was delicious and the service was extremely quick and friendly and they checked in on us and refilled our drinks. Their dishes were flavorful and came out quickly and hot! Will definitely be back next time we're in LA!

Yelp
We came for Dim Sam on a Saturday morning, large portions and reasonable priced, parking in rear . We ordered 7 items and had leftovers , some items were bland. The siu mai were good. 25.99 for lobster har gow but taste like shrimp har gow , there are better dim sum places to compare with better service. I wasn't expecting the best service from a Chinese restaurant, but if you open the restaurant to at least having a decent service.

Yelp
A solid restaurant for live seafood. The live seafood is great. They have really great prices on live king crab, which they prepare 3 different ways. The first is garlic/ginger steamed legs over vermicelli. That's my favorite. The second is the top of the legs fried with peppers and crispy bits. The third is steamed egg in the body cavity. It's all delicious and $40 per pound the last time I went. That's honestly cheaper than going out to buy a live king crab and preparing it at home yourself. The garlic noodles with live lobster is also delicious here. The only issue with a lot of the other food is that most of it is just mediocre, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. The crispy pork belly is tasty, but everything else we had was really not that great. The fried oysters were particularly awful, and nothing else was terribly memorable. Go only if you're going for live seafood!

Yelp
Great food! It's a very traditional experience and they service was really wonderful. I would recommend anything on the menu and maybe adventure out of your comfort zone when ordering. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
The fresh geoduck and shrimp was so good. The 6 pound fish price caught us by surprise, would not order again but the service was good and I felt very comfortable here

Yelp
Seriously the worst dim sum spot I've visited in the SGV. Got here right when it opened and food took over 20 minutes to get to our table. The very last dish came out 35 minutes after we ordered. Servers are rude when we ask for condiments. They kept on telling me to ask someone else and of course, that someone else tells me another thing; honestly like a merry-go-round. When the food came out, it was either lukewarm or tasted nasty. We ordered a steamed BBQ Pork Bun and the skin was wet, not from the steam, but as if someone poured water on it. Egg tarts weren't crispy and cold; it was the second to last item to come out too. Towards the end of the meal, I hear and see the guy in the kitchen cutting away some meat with a DeWalt electric saw and going ham with it. The door was open and it was not a pretty sight to watch while eating. Save your money and go to Sea Harbour instead on Rosemead Blvd. Their prices are about the same but at least the other spot has their food come out hot and steaming.
