Loqui reminds me of a more refined and slightly healthier Chipotle concept. The prices are fair. The ingredients are fresh. I like their tacos but my favorite thing is that I can order from Loqui is just an entire bowl of their cilantro rice.

We were attracted by the bigger than average size tacos on Google and decided to give it a try. We ordered four kinds of tacos including: - pork cochinata (very spicy) - beef birria (a bit spicy) - achiote chicken - spicy garlic shrimp (a bit spicy) Overall I like the shrimp most followed by the chicken. They are not as moist as beef or pork but I likes crisp and clean flavor complimented by shredded veggies. The other two meats are full of juice and can be greasy if you are not into fat. The portion size is ok. $7 per taco is definitely in the expensive side but hey this is playa vista. The flavors are a modern take on the taco. If you are looking for legit down to earth traditional tacos, this place is not for you.

Loqui is a very nice Chipotle. Service was supreme. Atmosphere was cozy. My snack was as filling as a meal.

Loqui is a solid “low key” place with a small menu. I liked their chicken plate best. Rice was good, beans were okay, tortillas were nice. Their pork tasted too salty. Their mushroom taco 🌮 was too oily for my taste and seemed more like a wet quesadilla than a taco. Their hot sauce however is five-stars: flavorful with a bite.

I order Loqui minimum 3x a month, they are so good. The tacos are top notch and have even been doing the achiote chicken bowl. I’ve never had a bad experience and have taken many an out of town guest to come discover my favorite spot.

Good size tacos, well seasoned. Good salsa and guacamole. Very fresh tortillas. Baby and dog friendly.

Online pickup was super easy. Food is pretty good and healthy. I had a promo on the app for a free chicken bowl, so that was nice.

I love Loqui~! Came here for some food, got the 1/2 chicken, 1/2 shrimp bowl. Always hits the spot. The beans, rice, and pickled onions are so good. I get the chips on the side, which tastes great. The staff are super friendly and the food came out super fast. I ordered ahead using the Loqui app, which is nice, and you can earn points for rewards~!!!

Ate here over the weekend before seeing a movie. I ordered two chicken tacos - they were very filling! Good flavor, a little spicy, which I enjoyed. Service was fast. They had a long line to order but it moved quickly and the tacos came out fast. They have indoor and outdoor seating, tucked into the shops at Playa Vista. It was nice to have a quick healthy food option instead of a sit down meal at the surrounding restaurants.

Ordered a mushroom bowl that came with guacamole and chips. Needed more chips and the server wanted to actually charge for extra tortilla chips. He proudly said "we charge" for chips!" Really, you order a meal and won't give you some extra chip that with your meal that literally costs a few pennies? News Alert: Sol Cocina in Playa Vista gives unlimited chips, salsa, and bean dip. Homestate in Playa Vista gladly gives extra chips and so does Tocaya. They are way better options than Loqui! By the way, this is a fast food place. What's up with wanting a tip for fast food and providing shitty customer service? Understand your customers. Next.

Loqui is one of my favorite go to quick meals. Everything I've gotten is good and the price is so reasonable. My usuals is the chicken plate with chips. Parking is easy (street or in the structure)

We picked up 2 of every taco from here for a quick dinner at the airport. We were so impressed when we were eating! I didn't expect it to be so good! The vegetarian ones especially were amazing! Also portions are great so very filling! The area is nice and we may want to sit down and eat soon. We live right up the street so I'll be back. They also packed the food really well and the vegetarian ones separate from the non-veg so I do appreciate that!

This place was delicious! Garage parking available. The chicken was very flavorful, bit spicy at all like some people say. Rice is perfect texture, I think it's better than chipotles. It comes with tortillas or chips- get flour!! Service is quick and they bring the food out. We sat outside it there's indoor seating as well. Nice weather!

We love having Loqui in Playa Vista. The food is good and everyone knows it. Lines at dinner and on the weekends can be long. It takes time to get the food out but the wait is worth it. My favorites are the shrimp and chicken; the pork and beef tend to be dry. I love the flour tortillas. The cocktails in a can are decent. I love the outdoor seating area -- great for people watching. Breakfast tacos! I love breakfast burritos, but always feel stuffed afterwards. These tacos are just the right size. I had the one with steak and it was delicious. I'll be back.

I have been back 3 times since I first tried this place. I am not a vegetarian, but the mushroom taco is fire!!! It will keep me coming back. I also like the beef birria and the shrimp. The chips and guacamole are also very delicious. Dogs are welcome with a nice seating area outside which is always a plus. This is a great fast casual place to grab a quick and yummy lunch.

I couldn't help myself from comparing this to Chipotle. I used to love Chipotle and now their quality has gone so down I never go there. When I found out about this place, I had to try and I'm glad I did. Their menu is very simple, bowl is also very simple with few ingredients, but their quality is on point. Chicken bowl was amazing, it was one of the best chicken I've had in any Bowls out there. I wish they had some greens and more sauce options. Bowl seemed pretty dry even with salsa. Btw their salsa cups are so small, 2 of them was not enough for me. If they add some greens to their menu I might be going more. Otherwise bowl consists a big amount of rice and without enough salsa or sauce options it's pretty dry. Nonetheless, it tastes amazing and deserves a try.

Fresh fast casual Mexican food inside the outdoor mall. Bowls come with chips or tortillas, and we loved the guac. Chicken and mushrooms were both delicious and would get again and again! The beef birria and pork cochinita also looked great. Get the cucumber or Jamaica lemonade agua frescas. Food came out in a few minutes. Highly recommend!

I've definitely reviewed Loqui before. Might have been the other location. I haven't met a menu item that I don't like. I'm also now bringing my two-year-old here, because there's a lot of items that she is trying and liking for the first time. Quesadilla, guacamole, etc. I went here this morning to try their breakfast tacos which I have not had before. I went with the New York steak breakfast taco and it was delicious. I will add my picture to the review so that you can see all of the ingredients, and what it looks like together. It wasn't as messy as some of their tacos can get, which I enjoyed. They have two additional breakfast tacos, which I will be back to try. My only critique, and it is good to know for next time, is that the onions are raw white onions. I thought they might be caramelized onions, but they were just raw and very powerful. Next time I would ask for the onions to be removed. But I was still very satisfied.

the tacos are great, kind of small so you need to order a lot. I had 2 but i think i should have gotten 3. I had chicken and shrimp on flour tortillas. The lemonade was ok, kind of like country time. Probably would not come back as there are lots of restaurants around the area now! Food was fresh and tasty but for the price I was hoping for more.

Walked by this place multiple times when we were in playa vista and finally had a chance to try it after our movie at the Cinemark across. Their tacos are huge, pretty much double the size of a regular taco. We tried the beef, pork and shrimp. All tasted really good, flavorful and a little spicy. My favorite is the shrimp! We also got the chips and guacamole, also delicious. Crispy and not too oily chips with very creamy guac. They also offer some drink selections but we didn't try. If you are looking for some quick a good Mexican fix in the area, I highly recommend this place.

Everything we tried here was very tasty and delicious. We tried all the tacos and they were all good. Located next to the movie theater. Communal tables indoors and outdoors available. You order, they prepare food and you go pick it up. Communal water available adjacent to the cashier. Metal cups provided. Watch out when you turn it on, the spout blasts water out forcefully, so you might get wet. The tortillas were so scrumptious. They sell them in packages to take home if you're interested. They also have a freezer with popsicles/palettas, they are not super great though. They're icy instead of creamy. They also have michelada, wine, cocktails, Mexican beer.

Great food and great service. I love this place. Been coming here for a very long time. Highly recommend giving Loqui a try and falling in love with the food

Best tacos in LA! They definitely have a kick to them, but the flavors are just unreal. My personal favorites are the chicken and mushroom tacos on flour tortillas! Are the chips are super crunchy

SO GOOD!!! It shares an indoor space with a few other vendors, so the storefront isn't super visible from the street. There is outdoor seating though! The chicken tacos with flour tortilla is so good, and right now there is an UberEats offer for BOGO. Guacamole is also very good - it actually has flavor unlike some other guac at nearby restaurants. If you get dine-in and get the margarita, they will put it in a glass with salt or tajin rim even though it comes in a can! I like the POG one. I was not impressed by the chicken bowl though - the meat felt really dry and the other ingredients also tasted flavorless. FYI they don't have breakfast tacos anymore. Sad!

What a great lunch. I got the chicken achiote with double beans and it was a huge portion! The chicken was moist and delicious. They have great spicy salsas and the guacamole was spot on. The flour tortilla was very very good. The guy at the register was super friendly and helpful!

Vegans get the Mushroom Plate or Tacos... the Flour Tortillas are everything. Make sure to order with No cheese. And get the Red Hotsauce! A lot of it! Fantastic food. Friendly People.

Always a good choice! I've had the experience of going to a place and liking it and then after enough visits, having a disappointing experience. However, I go to loqui every month at least, and it has never missed! 100% recommend

The tacos (especially the chicken primo) are soooooo delicious, especially the fresh flour tortillas. I come pretty regularly to get my taco fix and the food is consistently good - like their service. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars from me is because their pinto beans are pretty bland and flavorless, a surprise considering that everything else is seasoned and flavorful. And they don't do burritos. But the tacos and the aguas frescas (my fav is the lemonade) are top notch.

Been coming here quite often since I was first introduced to it (at its Culver location.) Love this place!! Fast service & solid staple for a quick but satiating food fix. The chicken primo here is everythinggg . (Also prefer this location in particular to Culver bc parking for Platform sucks. Parking here is great.)

My friend and I were taking a walk with our dogs and she showed me the playa vista area. Found this place and it was so Nice , inviting and clean and dog friendly. So we decided to try it. Service was great ! They answered all our questions about the food and drinks. We both got the cucumber mint drink! A must try so refreshing! We ordered guacamole and chips and let me tell you fresh avocado and chips best I've had at a restaurant! My friend had a chicken taco and she said it was delicious! This place is a must try ! We will be going back

Nice fast casual place. The pineapple spicy margarita kombucha was really good and only $7.50. Very refreshing and they pour it with choice of tajin or sugar rim and real pineapple pulp in the cup. Their plates are pretty good value and quality at $13.50. We had leftovers because it was a lot of food. It definitely helped to have salsa on the side to add some moisture and salt to the food, but the beef itself was seasoned pretty well. You order and the server brings it to your table. They have indoor and outdoor seating and it's in the really cute shopping center in playa vista.

Loqui in Playa Vista Florida s such a great place to go eat or take away your food. The tacos are so flavorful, chips and quac are really good. Everything tastes so good there, they have got their recipes down perfect!!!

My favorite takeout Mexican restaurant, there's a reason why it's one of the last standing businesses in the strip mall. Great quality, no complaints except orders need more than 2 tortillas. What Taco Bell should be! Instead of its mystery meat and Walmart great value quality.

Ambiance is great! It's in a cute little inside "market" that has other shops for shopping, coffee and ice cream. Menu is simple and delicious! I got the chicken bowl and it was delicious! Great flavors and more than enough served! The tacos my husband got were delicious as well and there was a ton of meat. Meat was not tough as some can be. Would definitely recommend!

This is a fun on trend fast-casual eatery. Not a wide choice of what to eat, but that's all right because they do pretty well with what they cook. You get tacos and you'll like them just fine. It's easy to park in the structure next to Whole Foods and frequently you can find parking for free on the city streets nearby. Playa Vista is such a fun place to go and hang out. I recommend coming on a Saturday when they have the farmers market. At Loqui they quickly take your order and you get a receipt with your number. When I was there there were only a handful of customers so they brought the food to our table. I thought the mushroom tacos were OK but the mushrooms were a little bit flavorless. My friend had the chicken tacos and said they were seasoned perfectly so maybe that's a better way to go. Mushroom taco plate had all the ingredients on it to build your own tacos, and then two tortillas on the side. It was basically the same as getting two tacos à la carte. except you also get rice. Next time I would just get the tacos. The price was reasonable and would've been even cheaper if we had not bought over priced fizzy water. Was glad that they had the soda in glass bottles. All the food is served on disposable paper plates and brought out on a tray. Hopefully they are recycling because it was a lot of waste at the end of the meal. Bathrooms are all the way at the other end of the hall. They are shared with the other establishments in this micro strip mall. TL/dr: pretty decent tacos all in all if you need to eat.

Had the mushroom taco and it was pretty good - the mushrooms could have used more flavor but overall it was a tasty taco. The flour tortilla was delicious. My sister had the beef taco and said it was 3 out of 5 - she said the flavor wasn't that great and it was oily. She also didn't like the pinto beans. A little pricy at $6.50 each.

The cantaloupe agua Fresca did not taste fresh. It actually tasted borderline rancid like it had not been made fresh that day. I was worried I might get sick drinking it, but I did not finish it and luckily did not get sick.

This is my go to taco spot! I've never been let down and will order from here all the time (more than I'd care to admit) highly recommend the chicken tacos with extra guacamole
