Cosmic Brownies Are Inspiring American Bakeries | Bon Appétit

"A Philadelphia bakery where the Cosmic Brownie has been on the menu since its opening, emphasizing the nostalgia of childhood treats." - BySam Stone

Loretta's - Review - Headhouse Square - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Don’t choose between sweet and savory at Loretta’s in Society Hill. The flaky cherry pop tarts with a thick layer of frosting and rainbow-sprinkled cosmic brownie riffs are just as worthwhile as the greens-and-cheese handpies or the ever-so-slightly spicy bacon, egg, and pimento cheese sandwich. You might not be able to find an open seat at this tiny bakery from the Bloomsday team, but it’s a great place to change up your coffee and pastry to-go routine. Or come by in the afternoon when they sell sandwiches on Liscio’s rolls with deluxe fillings like brie, ham, and jam. photo credit: Alison Kessler We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Alison B. The Best Hoagie Spots in Bucks County | Eater Philly

"Loretta’s in Bristol offers an expansive sandwich menu, available for dine-in and takeout, where you’ll find the cafe’s signature Italian hoagie. This Philly area favorite features a semolina roll filled with capocollo, soppressata, and prosciutto then topped with arugula, tomato, shaved parmesan, oregano, oil, and vinegar. The cafe also serves up a ribeye cheesesteak sure to make your ordering decision a tough one. Solution: choose both." - Kristen Kwiatkowski

Stopped in Loretta’s to try an adult Cosmic Brownie! I saw it online and knew I had to try it. I also ended up getting a chocolate drop too. The brownie was good, not amazing. I’ve had better elsewhere. The chocolate drop though, that was outstanding. The flaky crust and filling paired perfectly. I did find their prices to be a bit high. I still may come back to try more pastries in the future!

The lady at the register was wild and I loved it. The pastries (pig in a blanket and cosmic brownie) were delicious and the orange-ade was as refreshing as the whole experience. 10/10z

I love it here! The coffee is delicious (they have house made syrups) and both the food and pastries are fresh and worth every penny! Hayley was working and was helpful and knowledgeable when helping decide what to get! I'll definitely be back :)

Adorable cafe located in head house square! Tons of coffee options but the pastries are hard to beat! A little on the expensive side, but it was tough to pick only a few. Definitely a great neighborhood addition!

Having lived in Seattle for the past 25 years, I know what a good cup of espresso should taste like....and Loretta's has just the right chemistry. Like many other cafes in the City, they use the Rival brand of beans, and the baristas can make the espresso right every time. It helps that the staff are always welcoming me by name and have the cutest little cafe on Head House Square. Their pastries and sandwiches are much beloved by all the patrons. There is limited seating inside, but plenty of outdoor seating in a very tranquil and historically beautiful environment. It's my "Cheers," they never forget my name. Check it out! Loretta's is the perfect way to start your day!

I absolutely love Loretta’s. The window displays are adorable. Pastries are extremely well done. Must try the doughnuts on sundays! Serving up rival bros coffee with a house made salted maple syrup. In love 🥰

If you’re looking for the perfect neighborhood cafe - Loretta’s is it. My coffee and many food items tried are always great, but it’s the energy and vibes of everyone inside that really make the place! A can’t miss if you’re hitting up the headhouse farmers market on Sunday morning (but worth it to get over there every other day too)

Adorable café that is absolutely a staple in the neighborhood. Best cappuccino in the city and most delicious pastries of every coffee shop/café in the area. I especially love the sandwiches as well! Best of all though would definitely have to be the staff who are so friendly and welcoming! The whole neighborhood seems to congregate here most mornings and there’s nothing better than starting the day with so many friendly faces. Truly, one of my favorite places in the city. Always good and positive vibes

Yelp
I'm a big fan of Bloomsday and their fancy pickup window, so I was more than ready for Loretta's. Now I can have coffee and a pastry in a cozy setting (though my dogs don't get to join me at the window anymore). Coffee is good, pastries are excellent as always, and the sandwiches are pretty darn good. I love the croissants, but the tomato-basil Danish might be my fave.

Yelp
Went an got a one bagel with cream cheese two flavored lattes, a donut and a breakfast sandwich the total was 40.50. Very pricey. The donut was 4.50 alone. Also was a $1 for getting coffee iced instead of hot... I don't think costumers should have to pay extra for things like that. Super was very quick. The sauce on the sandwich was good but the egg was the premade kind very thick and didn't taste like much. The inside was asethically pleasing and had some trinkets you could buy. The place is very small and only has about 8 or so seats inside. The tables can get pretty messy and you have clean them before sitting. I don't think I'd come again. Too expensive for the quality of the food and drinks.

Yelp
Small little place that i stumbled upon in my way to the nail salon. Cute on the inside but limited seating. I wasn't hungry so I got the sweet maple latte. It was not very sweet. Service was fast and cashier was friendly. I am interested to come back and try some food. Menu looks tasty.

Yelp
I panicked and only ordered a pop tart! I wanna go back and try all the sandwiches! They looked amazing! The small seating area looks great! The staff was amazing! And the ice coffee was just correct! Can't wait to be back!

Yelp
Great spot to hand out solo or bring a friend! It's very cute inside with a handful of small tables. I tried a few pastries and they were delicious! The employee behind the counter gave me some good recommendations since I was feeling a bit indecisive. Can't wait to try lunch next time!

Yelp
They need to up their coffee game . I ordered a mocha 3 times from there and it was really bad . Their issue is that it tastes more like milk than any kind of coffee . Service is nothing to talk about . The place is a little small but if they had better coffee it would be worth it .
