Hidden Gem! The prices are great the Breakfast was so warm and homey feel to it. I love the free jam sampler plate. I tried and loved all of them! You can even purchase a jar of it. Definitely has a locals feel to it. I will come back again and again every time I visit Vegas.

Lou’s Diner is a throwback to old Vegas and the diner from Seinfeld with awesome food!!!😋😋 They have home cooked type meals with generous portions that are excellent!! The best part though is the homemade preserves and pies made by the owner’s wife. They give you a sample of the preserves with crackers with every meal. Mixed berry is my favorite, and I buy a jar for my home every time I’m running low!!! Raspberry, tropical fruit, strawberry rhubarb, etc…. Save a little room or just go there for the pie ala mode!!!😛😋😋

Visited Las Vegas this last weekend. Our group was craving some comfort food off the strip and this place did not disappoint. Food 5* I’ll just start with everything was amazing. From the thick cut bacon, flavorful sausage links, and crispy chicken fried steak (not pictured). They start out bringing their homemade jam, so flavorful and sweet. They can ship the jam to your home! They do have some for sale on site too. Service 5* Quick, and friendly!! Atmosphere 5* it was nice to sit down at a place with a small town diner feel. It’s off the tourist area. We took a Lyft to the restaurant, if you’re trying to go cheap and have the Deuce pass, take that down to Fremont street and then lyft over. It’s not accessible from the strip bus, however well worth a trip! If I’m in Vegas again, we will definitely be back!

Lou's Diner, a beloved establishment in Las Vegas, is more than just a place to grab a meal. Since 1969, it has stood as a cherished piece of the city's history, embodying the essence of old Vegas. Operating every day from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, this iconic Diner offers a unique dining experience, serving a combination of classic breakfast and lunch dishes in an atmosphere steeped in nostalgia. From the moment you enter, you are transported back in time. The decor pays homage to the golden age of Las Vegas, adorned with photographs of legendary landmarks such as the Sands Casino and the Tropicana. Lou's Diner exudes the spirit of a 1950s diner, bustling with activity that testifies to its enduring popularity. Constantly abuzz, it is the epitome of a local hangout, where regulars can rely on a substantial meal and a warm welcome. Lou's Diner's diverse menu, including a secret menu accessible through a discreet QR code tucked away in a corner, is a testament to its culinary innovation. This hidden gem features a range of dishes that surpass the usual offerings. From strawberry-stuffed French toast to pastrami omelets, the secret menu houses indulgent and inventive creations that keep patrons returning for more. The rotating homemade jams, with flavors like strawberry, peach, and raspberry, add a delightful sweetness to any meal, ensuring each visit is a different adventure. During my visit, I indulged in the Curtis' Haystack, a $14.99 breakfast extravaganza that perfectly captures the Diner's generous spirit. This dish comprises a towering stack of eggs, bacon, hash browns, cheese, and a biscuit smothered in rich, creamy gravy. It's the kind of hearty, comforting meal that satisfies and sustains you for hours. Every bite was a delectable fusion of flavors and textures, from the crispy bacon to the gooey cheese and the fluffy eggs. The biscuit drowned in gravy, provided a buttery warmth that brought everything together. And then there's the coffee—classic diner style, served in an ever-present sturdy mug. The service at Lou's is as comforting as the food, with amiable staff ensuring that your coffee cup is continually replenished and that you're well looked after throughout your meal. The ambiance is relaxed and inviting, making it apparent why Lou's has remained a treasured spot for many years, ensuring you feel welcomed and at ease. In conclusion, Lou's Diner is a must-visit for anyone seeking a genuine Vegas classic. With its storied past, reminiscent ambiance, and a menu brimming with traditional and concealed delights, the place offers more than just a meal—it links to the past and gives a taste of what makes Las Vegas such a distinctive and lively city. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Lou's Diner is where you'll feel at home, relishing every mouthful of that fabulous, home-style cooking.

Google
Thank you, Pickles! Great service.. glad we got a gift card to send our family back for good food.. good biscuits and gravy..unexpectedly good Julie's omlette. No reservations - we waited 20 minutes for a table of three to become available. Nice conversation with the guy at the door taking "waiting names".

Google
We had the 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, toast and grits for one person and French Toast, scrambled eggs, and 2 sausage links for another person. The sausage links tasted homemade, very good flavor. Meals were big portions. We were also provided homemade jams and crackers. The jams were so good we bought 2 jars to take home. Prices were very reasonable and service was exceptional. The vibe in the restaurant was an old school dinner. Will definitely come back.

Brian, the owner, set the pace for the experience. The ambiance is wholesome. The staff, ask for Julie, is wonderful. Hands down the best cheeseburger I have ever had!!! A total must when in Vegas!!! Viva Lou's Diner.

Yelp
1st Time 01.28.25 - fantastic old time traditional diner feel - Fabulous service, especially from pickles! Ordered the everything omelette with grits. The omelette was fantastic, just the right size, worth coming back for again! I'll try the hashbrowns next time. - This is definitely a repeat breakfast. Stop when you're in Vegas.

Yelp
I've heard a lot of good things about Lou's Diner, so I finally decided to give it a try. I ordered through Postmates, and the wait was longer than expected--so long that my first driver canceled, and I had to get a new one, who still had to wait. Postmates did warn me that it could take up to an hour, so if you're ordering pickup or delivery, make sure you have plenty of time. I ordered a vanilla milkshake for about $8. For that price, I expected it to look more like the picture, with the drizzle of hot fudge. The vanilla ice cream, however, was fresh, creamy, and delicious. Next time, I'll ask for the hot fudge as an extra. Despite the small letdown, I'd still say the milkshake was worth the money, though delivery fees might raise the cost further. For the main meal, I got the hot roast beef. The beef was fantastic--tender, flavorful, and so good it didn't even need the gravy (though I appreciated the generous cup of gravy on the side instead of having it poured on top). The mashed potatoes were okay. They could've used more seasoning, and unfortunately, there were some dried-out, hard bits that seemed to have been scraped from the side or bottom of the pot. However, the gravy helped a lot to bring everything together. The bread was standard white sandwich bread, which worked well to soak up the beef juices. I just wish they'd included a little butter for the leftover bread. I do respect that they've been around in Vegas for a long time, clean and a family favorite for many Vegas family's. So I'd love to try them again so I can hopefully give a 5 star. Next time in person.

Yelp
It was a great breakfast to start a day. It's totally classic diner experience with All the fresh food that tasted delicious. The portion is generous and it's good really good price. The place was crowded when I came but the service is fast and the server is friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place if you visit Las Vegas!!

Liz S.

Yelp
I came to Lou's with my husband, toddler and Mom for an early breakfast before heading to the springs preserve. We had the pleasure of being served by Pickles, who was so friendly and attentive. The feel of the restaurant is very intimate, retro diner vibes. It's so cute that they give the kids little wooden cars to play with. Also the home made jam is excellent. The neighborhood is a little rough, but we tried to just go in and out, back into the car. I would keep your head up in the parking lot especially with small children.

Yelp
Heard alot about this place and decided to take a drive and give it a try. I loved the decor of this restaurant! Definitely 1960s vibe and we love old school diners. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was quick. This place seems busy all the time so be prepared for a little wait. We got the biscuits and gravy on top of hasbrowns with bacon and toast. I loved everything ! You can definitely tell they make the biscuits themselves and it was really good. All the jams were good and they sell them too! If you want a good breakfast or lunch, come here !

Jessica G.

Yelp
First time here and I was very pleased. They were super busy and we had a small wait for a table but it was worth it! I do not recommend the fried pickels. I honestly thought they were terrible lol. But everything else from the ice tea to the breakfast is just delicious.

Nahshon P.

Yelp
This was a great stop this morning. Pancakes, hashbrown, bacon, and the jam! The Jams are great and very tasty. The service amazing! Promt, fast and kind! From the moment I was greeted, seated, and paid kindness and quality customer service was in full force. My food was pretty good and I easily could eat here again. This has a great home town vibe. Like a corner coffee shop the whole town visits. The reason I could not give 5 stars is because I did have hair in my hashbrown. Now, let me start by saying, hair falls. I get it, I'm not scared. I would easily still return for another try based on the service alone. It's definitely something I'm certain they would have fixed if I brought it to the attention of the staff, but as I was full and done eating there was no need. I can't say enough how amazing the staff is here. The food really is good accidents aside. Not sure if the kitchen staff wears hairnet? Perhaps this review could help to implement them? Thanks for the great service!

Christina K.

Yelp
I had a friend tell me this was her FAVORITE breakfast place so of course I had to check it out! Upon arriving, the staff is so friendly! They make you feel like you're right at home. The restaurant was full, but within a few minutes, a table was ready. They have grits! Yay! I love having this as a choice - I love grits. I ordered Kielbasa and Eggs and it was great! Eggs perfectly over easy, grits nice and hot. The other dish at my table was Eggs Benedict. Another solid choice and it was accompanied with grits as well! Service was excellent - super friendly and they are completely up front with the credit card percentage charge. As most are not pleased with not being informed, the server we had announces it with the options that do not have a fee. This is honest service!

Steve N.

Yelp
Baby boomers home for breakfast ! We were in the area keep hearing about Lou's Diner. So we stop in and immediately returned to our younger days of diners known to all baby boomers. The breakfast was very good and the service was good. The friendliness of the staff was very inviting and made the breakfast stop very enjoyable. I would highly recommend visiting Lou's just for the old school decor.

Yelp
Found Lou's Diner while searching for breakfast options on Yelp. Knew it had to be good with the amount of reviews alone. And boy, we were not dissapointed. We were greeted and sat immediately. Which according to other reviews, doesn't happen very often. We got there around 9am on a Monday. Upon being greeted by our wonderful server, she gave us a sampling of their homemade jams with crackers. AMAZING! They have lots to choose from on the menu but I decided on the chipped beef on toast. A delicacy if you are not familiar, and I have never seen it on a menu before. My friend got a stuffed omelet with all the fixings. The gravy on my plate was absolutely wonderful and peppered to perfection. The prices are reasonable, service was fantastic, and the food was delicious. I willl definitely be back when I visit the area in the future.

Yelp
Waited a short while (20 minutes?) for brunch on a Saturday. Host was great & they keep it moving. We ordered the patty melt & senior size turkey sausage biscuit with gravy & one egg, non-stacked. Patty melt was ok. Biscuit & gravy was good but, because it was non-stacked, they forgot the turkey sausage, then sent out 2 sausage patties even though it was a senior size order. I like the fact that the senior size menu is just smaller portions - I wish more places did the same. Service was good - they keep it moving. The star of our meal was their homemade jam that they offer with crackers or toast. Each of them (raspberry, strawberry, grape, tropical) were absolutely heavenly! We bought a jar of the raspberry to take home (pricey at $13+ - but soooooo worth it!). We'll go back just for the homemade jam!!

Andrea G.

Yelp
This diner is so stinking cute, felt like I was on set of an old sitcom! And to top it off, our server Shannon was so unbelievably kind and charming, like the super sweet characters in movies! The Strawberry Stuffed French Toast, off the non-so-secrete menus, was undoubtedly our favorite item ordered! They really perfected this recipe! As for the Senior Breakfast items and the Biscuit and Gravy, they were averagely good. What did enhance our meal and our experience was the complimentary flight of jams! It was sooo nice of them to that that! And brilliant because I really loved them all and wouldn't have known that without sampling them! This extra touch will make me go back!

Breanna M.

Yelp
So freaking good and fresh, it's rare you find a place the serves grits had me sold... The fresh samples of Jam, the mom, and pop vibes. Definitely prepare for a Lil wait but definitely don't leave. SERVICE WAS GREAT

Amanda I.

Yelp
Local! Diner! Best breakfast must try. Adventure out and be with the locals that is what makes this city fun. This diner hit the spot for breakfast. The ambience really makes this one a treat. All of the servers were super nice very accommodating. There was a huge line out front. It basically took like 15 minutes to get a counter seat, but it was well worth it. The food is great, you get complementary jam, try all four of them, they are so good. we got the two eggs, meat and hashbrowns, which was awesome with a side of toast. Would prefer the Patty over the links, but the links were still good. We also hit up the French toast, which comes with eggs and sausage. The French toast was the bomb.

Laurie D.

Yelp
After reading lots of review on yelp, my husband and I couldn't wait to try this restaurant. We loved the samples of jams and crackers that they brought to our table immediately. I think the flavors were cherry, raspberry, pineapple, and tropical. They were all delicious, especially on my delicious rye toast. I ordered the one egg special on the Seniors Menu. It came with ham, hash browns, and toast. What a great deal for $8.99! My husband ordered the corned beef hash, which is on the secret menu (scan the QR code). The corned beef hash was yummy!! It was unlike any corned beef hash I've ever had. We loved our breakfast and will definitely go back the next time we are in town. Our server was Doreen, and she was excellent! Try out this restaurant! You will not be sorry.

Young C.

Yelp
Stopped by this place on our way home. Read some good reviews so I said why not. Very busy for Wednesday 9 am and staff was very friendly. Ordered chicken fried steak since I love it and always try to find best place for it. Also ordered the corn beef and hash off the "secret menu" that you have to scan the qr code.. They brought us home made jams. Strawberry, raspberry, pineapple, and tropical fruit. Raspberry jam was very yummy. Well..... My chicken fried steak looked good and looked nice and crispy outside. Took my first bite and Booo it was not crispy outside. The breading tasted pretty blend. Like straight up flower with no seasoning. Gravy was traditional but lacked in flavor also. I was very disappointed over all flavor of the dish. I had to add salt to my dish. I hardly ever add salt to my food.. Eggs were cooked perfect. My hash brown was pretty good. Nice and crispy outside. Corn beef and hash was pretty good. Potatoes were cooked perfect but corn beef was chopped pretty big. Gave me the feeling of deli meat chopped up. Service was amazing. My coffee cup never stayed emptied for for than few minutes. Staff constantly going around making sure cups are filled. Over all the food was OK service was excellent. I definitely would not drive my way out here to dine here again.

L M.

Yelp
This place is great, food, service, owner working the wait outside, very personable. It's always a wait to get sat, but that's because it's good, places that suck don't have long waits.

Vanessa T.

Yelp
Lou's Diner has a long line on the weekends. Out the door, 30+ minute waits for tables. But when once you dine here, you see just what all of the hype is about. Lou's offers lots of small town charm in the heart of Las Vegas. When you walk in, you forget the size of the city you're in. Better yet, what city you're in. There is ample seating, but a bit cramped. Decor like that of your grandmas. Eclectic, vintage, timeless. They serve cozy, classic American breakfast. I ordered chipped beef on toast (10/10). A childhood favorite of mine, long forgotten after years of trendy dining. Each bite was midwest nostalgia. They also offer desserts: pies, cobblers, homemade items. Service was wonderful. The only gripe I have is with the wait time. Totally out of the Diner's control, and definitely valid.

Maxine P.

Yelp
Great locals breakfast place. We found it when searching for breakfast on Yelp near an event center we were going to. They really know how to do it the right way. Laid back, noisy, fun atmosphere. We went there 3 times during our visit. We only had to wait 1 time and the place was busy. Once you're seated they bring menus, water and coffee right away. Everyone is friendly and chatty and provided great service. They bring you out a jam sampler, small crackers to try out 3 to 4 different types they produce themselves. They offered jars for sale. I would have bought one, however we were traveling no way to keep it cold. We both ordered the Senior breakfast and they were both more than enough foods tasty and hot. The decor is all kinds of signs and photos. The bathroom in the main stall for women's had some humors signs/pictures worth a chuckle. The Manager who kept himself busy making sure everyone was well cared for. Get away from the strip and visit this little local gem.

Kelly S.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch and had excellent service. It definitely has the old school diner vibe which I love. The food was delicious especially the fruit preserves, which they also sell. The service was also excellent.

Rick S.

Yelp
I was in Las Vegas to compete in a rodeo and while there, I decided to check out a restaurant off the strip that would have more of a local character. I managed to find that in Lou's Diner. Looking at the web site, I learned that this restaurant is almost as old as me, having its origins in 1969. When I arrived there early on Sunday morning, there was a line of diners waiting to be seated. Usually that's a pretty reliable sign that the restaurant is good; that turned out to be a correct prediction. I waited about 15 minutes to get a place inside, which was buzzing with activity with both diners and staff. Lou's has a standard bill of American fare, good solid hearty food that will stick to your ribs. Breakfast items included omelets, bacon, sausage, pancakes, biscuits and gravy and the like. When I sat down, I noticed at the counter a display case full of drool-worthy cinnamon rolls that were as big as your head. I ordered steak and eggs, a good protein-heavy way to start the day. While waiting for my order, I was served a plate of crackers with a selection of freshly made jams. Although I am watching my blood sugar, I couldn't resist trying a bit of these homemade condiments. They are really well done with a strong fruit flavor and not overly sweet. Patty, one of the staff (I presumed a member of the family) made time to come over and engage in some friendly chat with me. Patty makes the cinnamon rolls herself and also cooks the restaurant's chicken noodle soup. She informed me that she makes the noodles scratch. I have a feeling that soup is pretty amazing. By then, my order had come out. It was a thin slice of New York Strip and although it was a slender cut, it was nicely seared and yet was medium rare inside just as I had requested, not an easy feat to perform. Eggs were done over easy and were full of delectable golden yolk. These family-run restaurants offering old fashioned, homemade food won't ever go out of style methinks. They provide such good quality and value and there's a comfort in dining in a place like this, where you feel like you're part of the family. The service is delivered by everyone on the team and several folks made sure I had plenty to drink and eat. Lou's will definitely become a regular stop on my Vegas sojourns in the future. Highly recommended.

Michelle A.

Yelp
I was in the neighborhood getting my vehicle serviced and needed a spot to have some good eats, found Lou's on Yelp and headed over to find a very popular unassuming, local hole in the wall. The menu had a good and affordable selection, the service was efficient and the food was tasty. We came on a Saturday morning so there was a wait but Lou's has a little enclosed waiting area with a swamp cooler outside. I'll definitely come back for the biscuits and gravy when I'm in the neighborhood.

Paul P.

Yelp
After seeing reviews, my wife and I came here for breakfast. We really enjoyed everything about the place. In particular, the customer service was excellent. So were the breakfasts we had. Highly recommend and will return.

Juan F.

Yelp
Yummy! Old school diner in Las Vegas a favorite with locals and visitors as well. We sat at the counter in order to cut our wait time. The owner is as nice as can be and handles the hosting duties. I also left with some mixed berry and pineapple jam to take home. Their coffee is OFF THE HOOK! When I asked what the secret was, it stayed a secret. The owner would not tell. I'll be back!

Len N.

Yelp
From the moment that you walk up to the door, a greeter will take your name and party count. This expedites the seating process. Once you get in the door we were filled with a sense of homeliness like going to grandmas house. Food was downhome "back in the day" type food. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing by to give it a try!!!! I forgot to mention we observed the entire staff working together to get the food out to customers. Looking around we jus saw people eating in a way that jus makes you want to try a bite. They were there for the food and friendship.

Jesus T.

Yelp
I been here twice back to back each time on Wednesday and let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised. First off I could not even tell there was a restaurant here. There is a lot to choose from on the menu. They serve this crackers with their home made jam which are super delicious. The prices are reasonable. The customer service is excellent, the tables are clean and the host outside the restaurant is friendly. I recommend making a reservation or arriving early to get your name in the list so you can be seated. I sometimes don't know what to get and the staff always have good recommendations. Parking is a hit or miss right in the front of this business, but here is more parking to the left and right side of this building. Very family friendly environment.

Rhonda M.

Yelp
Great place for breakfast. Worth the drive away from the touristy strip. Reasonably priced and large servings. The biscuits and gravy were great, the gravy was thick & creamy. They make their own jams/jellies. Eggs cooked perfectly. Server was great, definitely recommend.

Jackie M.

Yelp
On a business trip to Las Vegas, and decided to try something new outside of the casinos. And found this little hidden gem. Has a high rating on yelp and is definitely very popular with the locals. Let me just say, along with the ambience /nostalgic feel of home, their menu, selection, prices, portion size , top-notch hospitality, and service is like no other. The samples of their jams and jellies they sit in front of you when you first arrive are so delicious. Food is ammmmazimg! Just look at our plates when we were done. When in the Las Vegas area and looking for a great local place to eat breakfast lunch or dinner Lou's Diner is a must.

Alyssa C.

Yelp
There is a reason why Lou's Diner has an almost perfect rating of 4.7 ! This absolute gem of a diner is stuck in time -- 1969 to be exact. They serve you 4 types of in-house made jams with crackers to get you started. They have options for the whole family from pancakes to biscuits and gravy. I had poached eggs stacked on gravy and biscuits with a side of bacon. Very hearty and filling. My mom had the freshly made corned beef with a side of two eggs. Everything was well seasoned and our food was brought out rather quickly. We had the sweetest waitress, Patty! She introduced us to the whole menu and shared the history of Lou's Diner with us. She says it's the best in Nevada and I've got to agree with her.

Steve G.

Yelp
Lou's is a FANTASTIC restaurant, been going here for yrs, great service and food. HIGHLY Recommend

Jim

Yelp
Great food, Great atmosphere and GREAT SERVICE. You definitely need to try!!! You can definitely see why it has been open since the 60's. Our waitress Patty was fantastic.

Glenn M.

Yelp
The Yelp reviews brought us here and after a slight wait we were 8th in line we were seated. We went with the mass quantities of breakfast with sausage, eggs and hash browns all cooked to perfection. The pancakes side order was heavenly and I reluctantly shared because they were so good. The first restaurant we have been to in forever that knows how to make biscuits and gravy that are as good a Mom made. They provide you homemade jams and jellies to add to your toast but I thought right off the spoon would be excellent as well. Our friend had the Club sandwich which was huge and she could only eat half. Next time I would order ham instead of sausage as it was thick cut and huge. Service was efficient and friendly and we will eat here again the next time we are in Las Vegas area.

Marzza C.

Yelp
We decided to venture out of the Las Vegas tourist area and googled top 3 places to eat breakfast and sooo glad that we did! Lou's Diner was absolutely delicious, we ordered meat loaf with eggs that was on the daily special menu, we also had the homemade hash from the secret menu and lastly we had the French toast special! Oh and as we were seated they offered 4 homemade jams with crackers, delicious! So glad we came here, the guy at the door was super friendly and the entire service was amazing! The coffee was excellent too! Thank you Lou's Diner for making our Sunday breakfast experience one to celebrate! When visiting Vegas this is a MUST place for breakfast! They also have a lunch menu! ENJOY

Carolyn M.

Yelp
A great little local spot for breakfast. We opted for some breakfast before doing some back to school shopping. The place was busy when we arrived. We had to wait outside until a table was ready. Which wasn't very long at all. When we were seated, they took our drink order. Also gave a us a little plate of crackers and a couple of samples of their specialty jams. Which was good. We ordered a pancake plate with eggs, sausage and bacon. We also ordered from the secret menu! Fried catfish and grits, Cajun sausage, eggs, and toast. The food was good, service great, and the ambiance of the place was great!

Michael O.

Yelp
Took the family here after looking for a good breakfast away from the strip. Hands down one of the best diners I've ever ate at. Loco Moco is better than most places back in Hawaii. The jams at the beginning of the meal are crazy delicious. Service was great and Brian and the staff are definitely dialed in. 10/10 will come again. Don't forget to check out the secret menu

Denise O.

Yelp
OMGoodness!!! What an AWESOME place! A bit of a wait, but SO WORTH IT!! Amazing staff...Amy is Great!! Our server, Andrea, is wonderful. Didn't get other names, but everyone was so great to interact with!! And where else can you get mashed potatoes on your omelet!!?? Decorated so cute, even the restroom is adorable! A MUST if you're in the area!!!We will definitely return!! (and we haven't even gotten food yet!!) Oh... don't forget to scan the QR code!! Update: The food is great too!! There is a wait, but very quick once you get seated!

Maria C.

Yelp
Had breakfast here yesterday 1/17/2025. Hands down one of the best breakfast spots I've been to. My boyfriend is a huge fan of American breakfast and he looked up the places around us and Lou's caught his attention. When we went, there was a lot of people which would normally cause people to leave but we decided to stay and glad we did . The wait was only 15 minutes. When we sat down the owner of the place got our drink orders and they came out quickly. We then got greeted by our sever Andrea . She brought out the jelly's with the crackers . We quickly got our food and it was delicious everything was so flavorful. The best part of this experience was the fact that every worker there looked like they were happy to be there . Their whole vibe was so refreshing everyone helped out each other and their turn around time was amazing . We definitely will be back and recommend to our family and friends .

Yelp
Well I ate here a year ago and had some really great pork chops. I been wanting a real home made country fried or chicken fried steak. Again Lou's did not disappoint me. The service was outstanding from the greeting at the door to getting seated. The waitress was super nice and welcoming. I can't say enough good about this place. If you don't eat here you are missing out. There a man that was not a server and made sure everything was good. The price is very reasonable and the food is top shelf. This is definitely my favorite place to eat when In Vegas.

Yelp
What a hidden gem in Las Vegas! My husband and I like to eat outside of a casino. I searched biscuits and gravy restaurants and Lou's pooped up. I ordered the country breakfast and my husband ordered the all in omelet (had all the meats) both were 10 out of 10. In addition to your breakfast you get a sampling homemade Jellys/jams. We ended up buying 3 jams and the homemade salsa! The service and ambiance is friendly and fun.

Yelp
Best eggs Benedict I had in a long time. Country fried steaks is a MUST try. The service was excellent from the host to the back of the house. Insides are 50's diner decor ( original design decor).

Yelp
Stopped here for a late breakfast. We were greeted outside and put on the list for a table, that had an area to sit with a cooler blowing into it. The host was very nice and friendly. When we got to our table a young lady brought us coffee and waters, she was very nice. Then our waiter stopped by, answered a few questions and took our order. Very nice guy also. This place has been around a long time, they have their regulars that are in there, which is awesome to see. They just seem to genuinely care about their customers. The staff seemed to get along great. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
A classic diner with plenty of regulars and a staff who is hustling to get food out. Ambiance is old school with intentional mismatched mugs and counter seating option. Food was plentiful and spot on.

Yelp
YUUUUUMMMM! A local's favorite spot for good reason. Breakfast and lunch menu offers all the comfort food you could possibly want. Prepare to wait for a table on weekends but the wait is worth it. The homemade jams are worth the trip so make sure you order a side of toast. (If I wasn't flying home with carry-on luggage I would have bought jars of the pineapple and the strawberry jams.) We all loved our breakfasts (Veggie and Denver omelettes, Eggs Benedict with crispy hash browns and crispy home fries) with the exception of the chicken fried steak which was "fine, but a little tough". Service was homey, friendly and efficient.

Yelp
For a first-timer to Las Vegas this place was certainly very inviting and friendly. The staff are incredibly helpful, hospitable, and attentive. Not once did we have to call for beverage refills and condiments with anything more than a simple raising of a hand. As for the food, let's just say I've been to enough places to know who does S.O.S (chipped beef with gravy on toast, more affectionately referred to "sh!t on a shingle" for those who don't know) right, and boy does this place do it right, and BIG. The portion servings I noticed, not only from my order but those at nearby tables, could easily be shared between two people. The ambiance was homely, nothing extraordinary or over-the-top, just your typical relaxed-feeling down-home diner feel where it seemed like everyone knows each other. All that said, I'll surely be stopping in here whenever I'm in town.

Yelp
I've seen so many great reviews posted lately and I LOVE older restaurants especially with Vegas history. I mentioned Lou's to my hubby, who was born and raised here and it turns out he always met his dad for breakfast here when he was a teenager. He said it still looks the same and has the same vibe he remembered so well. We decided on an early breakfast with our boys. Our server was a total sweetheart and on point. The portions were more than generous and came out quickly. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our son who won't eat any biscuits and gravy at a restaurant because they are never as good as his dad's....had them and loved them. My chicken fried steak was perfectly crisp and well seasoned. The youngest and his love for everything sweet ended up with a to go box for his strawberry stuffed French toast.... He couldn't finish it but he wasn't leaving it behind So happy to support a family owned business and a piece of the Vegas community.

Yelp
Stop searching for breakfast spots because you've found it! As soon as we pulled up to the diner at 9am we saw a few groups waiting outside and we knew it was going to be good. We were immediately greeted by someone at the door who was very friendly and put our name down on the waitlist. We waited maybe 10 minutes before our party of four was sat down. We were welcomed to our table by several helpful waiters/waitresses who made sure our drink orders were taken and we had everything we needed. Then the owner came by our table and thanked us for coming in before asking if any of us were veterans (it was Veterans Day). We had two veterans in our group and after thanking them for their service, he returned with two Lou's Diner coffee mugs as gifts for them. He was thoughtful and came by everyone's table multiple times checking on everyone. Our food was AMAZING. So delicious. We ordered the Curtis Haystack, the Chop Steak, and the seasonal pumpkin pancakes with cream cheese frosting. Everything came out fast and tasty! We dug in so fast there was no time to take a picture of our food lol They also brought out samples of their four different house jams (SO GOOD, make sure to try all of them). The waitress who served us was so sweet and friendly too. All the staff were friendly and thoughtful. As we were leaving we asked to pay for two more coffee mugs to complete our sets and the owner GAVE us two more. He wouldn't let us pay for them. This breakfast spot is one of the highlights of our trip to Vegas. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Americana 1950's motel diner fair at about $25 a person. The food is made for foodies palettes but presented so non foodies know what they are eating and enjoying.

Yelp
I have heard about Lou's Diner through social media and finally stopped by today to check it out. We were a little worried when we pulled into the plaza because many people were waiting outside the restaurant. Surprisingly, they told us the wait was about 20 minutes after putting our name on the waiting list. The owner Brian was very friendly and stood outside having conversations with customers. He also gave status updates regarding who would be seated next. There is a lot of antique decor in the diner, with mugs hanging on the wall, as well as many signs and pictures to look at. We started off with the Cinnamon Roll. When it was brought to our table, it looked kind of off and nothing like the pictures on Yelp. It looked like someone flattened it and had too much icing. But after taking a few bites, it was actually very tasty and the icing had the perfect amount of sweetness. Next, they brought out plates of crackers and four of their homemade jams. I really liked the Strawberry and Pineapple jams. The Raspberry and Blueberry were okay. Just a tip, it is easier to break the crackers into pieces and dip them straight into the jam instead of trying to get a scoop of it with the butter knife. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my order. I went with the Country Fried Steak lunch with French Fries. The fried steak was bland and the gravy was super bland! Like did they forget to add the salt?? It was better after adding some salt myself, but I guess I am used to gravy being pretty savory. Only ate half of it and most of the fries. Our other friends seemed to enjoy their food, so I must have ordered a bad dish. The dishes they ordered were the Stacked Country Combo, Chicken & Waffle, and the Monte Cristo. 4 stars. The wait time was reasonable on a busy day. The service was friendly and attentive. I ordered the wrong food, but am definitely willing to come back and try something else. Parking can be limited. Thumbs down for Pepsi products. Did I mention the gravy needs salt?
