Yelp
5 stars for the food. 2 stars for the ambiance.
I tried Lov'n It Live because of the vegan reviews, and I made the right choice. I ordered the "Personal Pan Pizza" ($18.50) and the sweet potato pie ($8). The pizza was fresh, raw, vegan and delicious! The pie was rich and flavorful. I'm use to sweet potato pie from the grocery's freezer section, so it took a few bites to manage my expectations. By the end, I was loving the plant-based version more than a conventional slice.
I've been vegan for 10 months, so I'm fairly new. But, it's so easy to find restaurants willing to cut corners and serve foods laden with "vegan friendly" chemicals. Lov'n It, is serving great food that's good for you. My food was not cheap, nor was it fast, but it was well worth my time and expense. I left feeling fueled for the night, full, not bloated or heavy.
However, I almost gave 2 stars for the ambiance. This place is a "hole in the wall." Normally, I seek that quality when trying a new restaurant, but in this case I mean it as a slight. The vibe they present is "upscale" (table cloths under glass, set with cloth-wrapped flatware and water goblets; $20/ per person lunch options), but the place looked dirty and cluttered. I sat at a table near an outlet. Apparently, it doubled as a flat surface to store junk. The host never bothered to remove the Good Foods bag, receipt, and hand-written "out of order" sign, previously used on a nearby restroom door. My table cloth looked stained and dusty, There were boxes and other random items strewn about the dining area. It all made me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen
That said, the food itself earned every star. I hope you enjoy it.
