"For a fancy-yet-unfussy meal, make a reservation at LPM. Dining at this French-ish spot on the Strip starts with a DIY appetizer: grab the fresh tomato that’s been left on the table for you, cut it up, and dress it with the also-provided lemon and olive oil. Lean into the fantasy of doing this in a European villa, even if you didn’t come to a Vegas restaurant to slice your own produce. Then you can let the kitchen take care of the bigger plates, like plump escargot in garlic butter, grilled baby chicken, and well-marinated lamb cutlets. If you’re here after sunset, take advantage of the indoor patio for views of the Strip’s glowing billboards advertising whichever pop diva’s residency is currently stimulating the local economy." - emmy kasten, andrew ryce
"French-Mediterranean restaurant LPM strikes a great balance between fun and romantic, suitable for couples on holiday or business dinners with coworkers who actually get along. The cozy bookshelves and framed art all over the walls evoke a stately French estate in the middle of the Cosmopolitan, and the food is homey but elegant: warm prawns in olive oil, grilled sea bass. There's a spectacular patio that overlooks The Strip with large tables, and bigger groups, 13 or more, can rent a private dining room or take over the lounge in the front. Spring for the French Riviera-style tasting menu, where dishes like black truffle rigatoni and garlic butter escargot are served family style." - melinda sheckells
"This bright, floral French restaurant, with its Veuve Clicquot-themed patio, plentiful pastries and bottomless bloody marys, is all about the boozy brunch. The best bet is to order the Brunch Affair, an $85 per person sampler of nine dishes for everyone at the table to share. You’ll start with citrusy yellowtail carpaccio, and move on to lump lobster benedict and skirt steak you dip in chimichurri and sweet harissa sauce and eat with eggs. Some of our other favorites are hidden on the a la carte menu, including prawns swimming in a pool of olive oil and slippery escargot so buttery you’ll need extra bread to sop the sauce." - emmy kasten, melinda sheckells, ryan slattery
"This light and bright French Riviera-inspired restaurant at the Cosmopolitan will transport guests to the Côte d’Azur with a dessert and cocktail pairing with the Italian fragrance house Acqua di Parma. The luxurious collaboration features an Easter egg filled with basil meringue and lemon Chantilly served with a cocktail with mandarin and basil notes mixed with a hint of ginger — maybe as refreshing as the new fragrance itself." - Emmy Kasten
"For those who take brunch seriously, the Brunch Affair ($85) is a 10-course feast of French Riviera-inspired brunch favorites. It starts with warm croissants and baguettes with jams, before leading into salmon carpaccio and fluffy French Toast with spiced Chantilly cream. The feast also includes charcoal-grilled rib eye, a ratatouille tart, and a vanilla cheesecake dessert. For more peckish diners, items can be ordered a la carte, too." - Janna Karel
