Lucía - Patisserie+Café

This is one of my favorite bakeries on the island. The vibes are incredible and the staff is super friendly. Everything we’ve gotten here has been so good. We got the cinnamon roll, questito danish and turkey foccacia sandwhich all were incredible but the quesito danish is the best I’ve ever had. The design is very aesthetically pleasing and you can tell they really put a lot of heart into it.

The employees are very considerate, helpful and friendly. The food is amazing!! You do have to arrive early because it forms a queue, but it’s totally worth it. The owner and Instagram personality was at the store and you could see her in action - which was very cool.

Delicious pastries and a variety of coffees. Service was speedy, and by the time we got our food, we were able to sit at a table. The sitting area is very limited. Convenient to the Condado area. Prices were reasonable ~$6 for pastries and $4-5 for mocha/latte.

Loved this place and would come back as many times as possible. Could order online if you are a frequent client. Congrats!

Amazing bakery with delicious pastries. Flaky croissants with sweet and savory flavors combined with tasty coffee drinks making this place the perfect spot for breakfast. You can preorder online and skip the line if you're on the go or want to make sure that your favorite item will be there for you.

Their pastries are to die for, their cakes are a slice of heaven and their coffee is exquisite. I have nothing bad to say about the place. It’s so nice to have this place in the neighborhood…I look forward to Thursdays now! My only complaint is that they are so good that you be can’t have just one pastry! PS: even my dogs love it! Make sure to buy a treat for your furry friend, they’ll love it and you’ll be contributing to a good cause since they donate the money from the treats to a local shelter.

It was my partner’s first time away from home for thanksgiving. She said she was going to miss having pumpkin pie on thanksgiving day. So I searched and found in PR that Lucia makes pumpkin pie. I emailed Lucia asking if they sold slices or only whole pies and they responded promptly that they would only have whole pies that could be ordered in advance and be picked up the day before thanksgiving. So I ordered a pumpkin pie for the 2 of us and on Wednesday we picked it up. That pie is the best pumpkin pie I have ever had. It is perfectly sweetened, the pie crust is tasty, & the whipped cream that they add on top hugs all the ingredients. I have had 1-2 slices every day.

Great way to start a Saturday morning in the Miramar area. Just a short walk from my hotel, look for the line that extends out the door. Cinnamon rolls are a popular item, but I opted for some creative items that I can't get at home. Guyaba y queso & quesito & a bread pudding... washed down with locally roasted cortadito. Worth the trek if you are nearby the Miramar area. But the shop is small and loud which makes it hard to have a relaxing conversation.

It's been almost a year since my last review. At that time I mentioned that these pastries were so good that they deserved to be nominated for recognition or awards. Well, the time has come! I'm so happy and proud to know that Lucia Merino, head pastry chef and owner of Lucia Patisserie got nominated for the James Beard Awards 2025 in the category Outstanding Pastry Chef or Baker. I have been a loyal customer since their beginnings. Witnessing its evolution and growth through hard work has been a beautiful sight. They have created a welcoming lovely space in which from the moment you step inside the smell of baking goods is fascinating. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pastries are always freshly made in such craftsmanship. You can see the passion and dedication they put into every detail, so this nomination is very well deserved!! Keep up the good work!

Cozy, cafe with fresh baked goods! I loved the almond croissant and the filling was not too sweet. Decent spacing to sit with calming ambiance of plants and natural sunlight. Hours are a bit limited but hope to expand! If driving, parking can be limited but there may be space to do a quick in & out. Would come back :).

This is a very cute coffee and pastry shop in a beautiful neighborhood. The staff is kind and knowledgeable and the pastries are incredible. I tried one of everything including a brownie and that brownie is something. I'm still thinking about now that I'm back on the mainland, they will certainly see me again.

Aesthetically pleasing patisserie and each item ordered did not disappoint. My favorite was the cinnamon roll but everything was top notch. I liked that they offered both sweet and savory items. Plenty of seating for smaller parties but not meant for large groups. Service was great, they were welcoming and fast.

Everything I ordered was amazing. Walking in I was instantly in awe of the space. It's beautiful and completely my style/vibe. The people were attentive and kind. I love the simplicity of the space, ease of ordering and putting things up. I tried 4 different items and feel you can't go wrong with anything. Each item I had was great.

I came here because it was recommended by a magazine. So first when you walk in there is a lot of lighting which is great then there was a line. It moved quickly and there are seats inside and while it might look like there won't be a seat; people did eat and leave so I was able to get a table for myself. I ordered a quesito; a guava danish ; a dog treat, the croissant breakfast sandwich and a strawberry iced matcha. So the quesito was delicious and I still think about it. The dog pastry; I assume my dog liked it; he was wagging his tail when he ate it. The strawberry matcha was ok; I would not order it again. The guava danish was good but I'm not sure if I would order it again. But in their defense; I did eat it a day after I purchased it so i would reorder it and eat it in the moment. The guava taste was delicious but the danish was not as airy as I like it to be which could be a result of me eating it a day later. My breakfast sandwich was good but it was not warmed up all the way which is understandable because it was thick but all the components of the breakfast sandwich were good. I would definitely go back and other items and definitely get the quesito. They also sell granola which I regret not purchasing my plan was to return but then I saw they were closed.

The cheese danish was divine. The almond croissant was also very good. The cafe con leche was also amazing. Cute and clean place!

Really fantastic bakery! We purchased a few pastries and ordered a breakfast sandwich and everything was wonderful. Great coffee too. The guava handpie was a major standout. Nice seating area, friendly staff, highly recommend.

Do not come to Puerto Rico without trying this place for breakfast. Incredible pastries. Everything we sampled was phenomenal and the place is staffed with beautiful friendly ladies Everything was absolutely superb! It opens up Thursday and try to go here. The pizza thing was Carmelized onions cherry tomato and i think goat cheese and wow was it good! Love this place. Its forever on my puerto rico list

This place is must if you can! They are only open once a week for a few hours but worth it. We pre ordered online and ate in shop! We got 6 different pastries and was not disappointed with any of them. The bacon croissant was my favorite!

It's a great local bakery- just a note: you have to go on their website to typically order all of the items for pick up on Saturday. Everything has been consistently tasty though and I recommend the almond croissants.

This place is a treasure for all pastry lovers. Not only do they make beautiful pastries but they are as delicious as they are beautiful. I love their innovative flavors that I've never had anywhere else like their Asiago cheese, onion, and ground mustard croissant. It was very flavorful and a great twist on the classic croissant. I highly recommend their brownies. The caramel drizzle they use on them balances out the decadence of the chocolate with the contrast of the salted caramel. My absolute favorite was the almond croissant. I always like to order an almond croissant at any bakery I go to because it tells me a lot about craftsmanship behind it and sets up my expectations on what else to expect from the place. Well the almond croissants at Lucia Pattisserie are some of the best I've ever had and I've had almond croissants from all over. It's obvious that very talented people are working here and putting a lot of love behind the goods they make. I hope to be able to go back one day post Covid to enjoy more of the pastries they offer. At the moment you do have to pre-order to pick up on Saturdays only from their website. They are very organized once you get there you just give your name to the person waiting outside and they will get your order for you. The hardest part of the process is going to be deciding what to get because honestly everything is out

When I used to live in the island this was my Saturday breakfast, religiously. Everything is so good and so different compared to what the island has to offer.

I'm an experienced baker and I can say everything I tried was pretty much perfect. Worth going out of your way for.
