The 22 Best Restaurants and Vineyards in İzmir, Turkey | Eater

"Home to an architecturally gorgeous wine cellar, Lucien Arkas is Turkey’s largest single-parcel organic vineyard. Taste a few wines, wander the vineyard, and end with a meal at La Mahzen Restaurant, where you can pair dishes with the brand’s Consensus Chardonnay or Mon Reve Marselan." - Tuba Şatana

LA Mahzen

"The Lucien Arkas vineyards are well worth a visit. Take some time to stroll among the vines. It's the perfect way to spend a romantic day with your loved one. The spacious and inviting restaurant overlooks the estate and is a real ambassador for the winery (bottles are for sale at the entrance). The chef's Mediterranean dishes are a feast for the senses, with their simple presentation and bold flavours that perfectly complement the quality wines produced here. Courgette flowers generously stuffed with cheese and herbs, creamy mushroom risotto… Here, the focus is on honest flavours, both in the glass and on the plate." - Michelin Inspector

A Modern Wine Region Emerges Amid Turkey’s Ancient Ruins

"Sleep in for a bit; your next drive is only an hour, and all you’ll need to do is sit on an expansive patio at Lucien Arkas winery overlooking the largest contiguous—and organic—vineyard in Turkey. Both indigenous and international grapes make up the vast offerings, all of which are overseen by Italian winemaker Lorenzo Severino. While the place has the posh, polished feel of an established wine country estate (yes, they do weddings)."

That's a fine place for wine tour, tasting and dining. Very classy and beautiful place with magnificent view. In the middle of valley on a hill is the winery with restaurant. Outstanding dinner with sunset was marvellous. Staff is friendly and cool. Best winery in Turkey!

Excellent wine estate that brings back feelings of Napa. Food was delicious and affordable. The ladies liked the red a lot. There is plenty of parking available. The tasting rooms and restaurant are in the middle of gorgeous wine fields on a little hill. They were a bit under-staffed because of a wedding reception but I highly recommend a visit.

We had a lovely family and friends dinner in April. Our kids had perfect burgers and pasta, our dietary requirements where not an issue. They even had the best gluten-free bread for us.. The adults enjoyed lovely Turkish dishes but with a delicate gourmet upgrade and don’t get me started on the Consensus wines. The Chardonnay was my favorite. We actually liked it so much we decided to drive there today to buy some bottles (it costs us an extra our drive today but I want that wine 😉) A definitely recommend a stop there if you are in the area!

Went for wine tasting, wine varieties are good, the view is amazing, service is good and welcoming staff. Recommended for an enjoyable disconnect from the noise and good choice to buy wine stock.

Its a very quaint place with beautiful decoration and entrance. You feel like you are in Europe while watching the train passing by at the horizon. The vineyards were closed due to the virus. The food was exquisite and the staff very helpful. A great place to enjoy green view and relax.

It's a beautiful place. We just stopped by for wine. We didn't go to the restaurant. At the time of writing, the cost of a bottle is from 400TL to 2500TL.

Such an amazing wine estate and vineyard! The biggest vineyard of Turkey on single parcel of land. From the entrance you feel the glam of the estate already. After driving the view, you park (they have a big parking lot) right next to the cellar La Mahsen (also a nice restaurant). The tasting was flawless, so far the most competent somelier we have seen, we got all the info need and more, including the notes. Montepulciano and Smyrna were very nice, Consensus is their treasure. They have a demi-sec white from Bornova Misketi; amazing white with citrus flavors and a very fresh scent. I also loved the pumpkin creme brule. In conclusion, loved the place; you can also get there by Izban and you can ask for a pick up. Driving may not be the best idea considering the beautiful wines 😀 Not but not least, this parcel is ecologically certified and you can also buy bio olive oil.
