I had a fantastic dining experience at Lucy Williamsburg! The summer rolls were fresh and filled with high-quality meat—absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is charming, and the garden area adds a lovely touch to the overall ambiance. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even allowing Uber Eats drivers to use the restroom, which shows their commitment to great service. Overall, it's a great place to dine, and I highly recommend it.

Very fast service, the BBQ brisket was flavorful, and the noodle was very authentic. The broth was different than most I have tried, it lacks some beef bone flavor, but has mushrooms in it.

5 stars for the smoke brisket pho, they are def smoky, flavorful and broth is good too, does not feel thirsty at all, finished the whole bowl including broth. 3.5 stars for the pre-brew Vietnamese coffee.

Unfortunately the chicken pho & shrimp summer roll did not taste good. The chicken was old. Tasted like leftover chicken. My husband was very disappointed with the pho. The shrimp was tasteless in the shrimp summer roll. The rice wrapper was hard. We barely ate and just left.

The best pho I’ve ever had. The Brisket portion, The quality of mushroom and veggies was top notch. Also loved how they prep all the utensils to a single packet so you dont miss any. Very much recommended.

I love Vietnamese food and I eat it very often, and I can say without any doubt, this was by far the best pho I've had in NYC. The broth was dark, extremely flavorful and rich, absolutely delightful. The brisket was to die for, super tender and delicious. I also tried one of their bahami which was also very tasty 😋 The place is simple, nothing pretentious and it's meant for a quick bite/lunch, which frankly adds to the charm of it. I loved it, I'm definitely going back and I think everyone who loves pho should go asap.

This food was absolutely delicious! Oh my goodness, I haven’t had Vietnamese food in years and this was a great dish to get back into it. There were so many delicious flavors and it was a cold and hot dish that ended up being warm when mixed all together and the Hoisin Sauce is a must on your bowl. It’s sweet and tangy and adds so much more to your bowl along with a clear sauce you add as well. I will definitely be going back for lunch and dinner and dining in whenever I’m in the area. Love love love the vegan options here! Vegan approved 🫡

I can eat Lucy's Brisket Pho any day and time of my life. I am currently ordering them now lol. I have a hangover and they are always the cure. The must have. The coffee? Banging, Pho? Banging, the outside seating? Super cute. You will not regret eating there andddd get the garlic bread

It was just ok. I was excited to try because of all the rave reviews about the brisket, but it just LOOKED sad and dry when I saw it. I came for dinner on a Saturday with some friends and it wasn't too busy. There's a few tables inside and a patio in the back, but the patio is closed for construction or smth. You order at the counter and they bring the food out. I got the brisket banh mi, the rest of the party got the brisket pho or the chicken banh mi. The brisket sandwich was good, in that it was a filling sandwich. The brisket itself however didn't have much flavor (it was peppery) and so dry. I had to douse my sandwich in hoisin sauce/sriracha to enjoy, and I almost never add extra hot sauces or anything to my food. I did however appreciate the amount of veggies (well really carrots) in it. As for the pho, I'm not a super picky pho person so I thought it was fine (aside from the dry and peppery brisket) but no one loved it. The price is fair and I guess it filled me up, but honestly unsatisfying. Service wasn't super memorable and they have a bathroom in the back.

As an Angeleno that has consumed many bowls of pho in my life, I've rarely come across mediocre/bad pho. It really pains me to not leave a glowing review but sadly, the pho I had at Lucy's was definitely closer to mediocre than good. The restaurant is small and has a few (like 3) small tables and a two-top facing the window. You walk in and order at the counter, pay, sit down and the food is brought out to you. Not too much dining in going on but the place was busy with plenty of take-out orders. I had the beef brisket and my sister had the lemongrass chicken... they offer a combo which comes w/ your choice of a can of beer. The first few bites were great because I was starving but once my initial hunger pangs were satiated... I began to realize that the pho wasn't really that good. There was something missing. That distinct pho smell and taste. Then I realized that the pho was vegan and mushroom based! Great for vegans, I guess! My sister wasn't a fan of her pho either. I can appreciate Lucy's spin on their pho broth and it was clearly a popular spot for take-out. I just can't see myself returning for the pho here, though.

We ordered bánh mi from here and at it is at McCarren park. We absolutely devoured them. I want to go back and try their other food like the vermicelli bowls.

I sometimes pass by this store thinking if I should go in or not and thank god I finally went in. I ordered the brisket pho and boy was it delicious! The best brisket I've ever tasted in my life! Good thing I ordered the brisket and it was my first time! They gave a lot of brisket so that's a plus! Brisket was juicy and tender! You can taste the aroma of the meat inside your mouth! The noodles were good and fresh! I'm going to come back and try it again! So delicious!! A very clean and cozy place when you enter. You can either order food through the self kiosk or in person. Service is fast too! Food came out pretty quick! A must try!

I came here as I was passing by the place, but it wasn't what I had expected it to be. I looked up the reviews, and ppl were all raving about it, so I had to try it out. It's very low-key, which I liked. The water is self-serve, and you order at the front. Once it is paid for, it will be made, and they bring it out to you unless you're taking it to go. There is some indoor seating and some outdoors by the makeshift garden, which I glanced at quickly, and it was really cute. Btw, they honor the check-in as I asked before ordering, and it was added, or shall I say that 10% was taken off. The food wasn't what I had expected. I didn't know that the broth was fully vegetarian, so the base is mushroom. I had a taste of it and was surprised. I decided to get the beef as it was cooked for 14 hours. The meat was good, but not so the broth. It totally turned me off. I understand the concept, but it isn't for me. I doubt I'll be returning unless they have another broth for the meat lovers.

Today is the day I revisited restaurants from my Elite Events that took place in Williamsburg last year or.more. I had a craving for a Bahn Mi sandwich which I haven't had since you guessed it... last year at Lucy's Bed Stuy, Brooklyn location. That was a great event! I was pleased to spend a warm spring like day in Williamsburg especially eateries that are close to Domino Park like Lucy's. I entered and could smell the freshly toasted bread. I placed my order and remembered my 10% Yelp check in discount, perks my friend, perks! I found a seat near the window that had cushions and a nice view to people watch. My Bahn Mi was served to me table side, love that! I unwrapped my sandwich and took a good look at my delicious Bahn Mi that was about to be devoured: the chicken with the lemongrass flavor, oodles of cilantro, cucumbers.. is my sandwich seeping into your consciousness yet?...carrots on that heavenly toasted bread. Yowza indeed! I was a bit more daring today and squeezed the hot chili sauce and it gave it a spicy kick. The black iced tea served as my fire extinguisher.All in all a delicious cheat! This location is much smaller than Bed Stuy but it still packs a great punch: nice service, chill vibe ( love the picnic tables and cushions) and more importantly the food is delicious. Consistency keeps me loyal.. thus if a restaurant can still wow me with their food and service, then I'm your customer for a long time. If you read my previous review of Lucy's Vietnamese Elite Event it started like this: I love Lucy and she loves me, I'm so happy with my Lemongrass Chicken Bahn Mi. I still love Lucy and if you haven't tried the establishment all I can say is you need a good dose of Vitavitavegamin( (for all you I Love Lucy fans!)

Lucy's has expanded to four locations as of this writing. I stopped into this outpost in North Williamsburg for a Labor Day lunch. My girlfriend and I shared a smoked brisket pho and a can of IPA (it's a deal to get both). The backyard patio was cool and breezy so we posted up and got to munching. I had high expectations and Lucy's pho managed to surpass them. The bowl was full of goodies: tender brisket, baby bok choy, white onions, green onions, mushrooms, noodles, and that uniquely peppery broth. The brisket was sumptuous and rich. Some of my favorite bites were the ones where I got white onion and green onion in the same mouthful. After the big pieces were all gone, I sipped the broth, using my spoon to collect all the little nibbles at the bottom. This pho demands to be devoured in its entirety. Service was friendly and fast, prices were reasonable for the quality of food. The can of beer, Ebbs No. 3 IPA, is an awesome selection for the combo deal. I recommend the backyard for your group of 4-6 cool friends. Now I want to check out the Grand Street location just to continue enjoying this great food.

First time I ever had smoked brisket in pho. It was delicious. It came with plenty of noodles and some greens and mushrooms. I just wish there was a little more broth. $16 for a hardy bowl of soup. Of course, it's Brooklyn, so it came in a biodegradable cornstarch bowl, but with a plastic spoon. The place has seating for about 18. You can see into the kitchen, and it looked immaculate! My order came out fast

A bunch of my friends and acquaintances kept raving about Lucy's over the years. So I heard of it but I never pushed myself to go until a night when I was craving something new to eat. The store itself is compact with chairs on the i I ordered to go since it was getting late but it wasn't moderately quick. They do have some special items and deals that they have in store that I didn't see online (including the beer and entree combo). They packed the pho well with the broth being separate from the noodles. It held up well and warm after a bit of a trip home. What I didn't pay attention to was the fact that it isn't traditional in terms of its style. (But that is on me). For its acclaimed brisket pho, you get this Smoky juicy peppery meat. The broth is flavorful and umami. Other than those, the typical pho toppings were there (bean sprouts, lime, Thai basil, etc). It tastes great and it could be a place I could recommend someone else to go to for a unique twist. For myself, because of spending a period of time on the west coast, I lean more traditional with pho. But I would love to try the brisket in a banh mi because it is that good.

Food (5/5): - Food was FIRE - I come from a place with a very strong Vietnamese food scene. While I still prefer some restaurants back home, this place is really, really solid for NY - I got the smoked brisket banh mi which was soooo good. I devoured it in less than 10 min. I loved the texture and marinade of the brisket. The bread was nicely toasted and crispy. It also had the perfect amount of sourness and savoriness. 12/10 - My friend got the smoked brisket pho. I can't really speak to it since I didn't eat it but I tasted a bit of the broth which was also really good Service (5/5): - They were very kind and attentive. They noticed two of my friends were trying to split a bowl of pho so they offered them more broth Ambiance (5/5): - Definitely a small, cute, casual, sit-down vibes type of place! - Great place to hang out with friends Will be back if I'm ever in the area again!

On a beautiful spring day with a very busy morning working, my friends and I were starving. I was craving something filling, but also something refreshing and crisp. Enter the Banh Mi, one heck of a sandwich. And Lucy's Banh Mi did not disappoint. Bread was fresh and delicious, veggies with just the right amount of satisfying crunch, and some pretty fantastic juicy brisket in the middle of it all. I usually get the chicken banh mis whenever I go to a vietnamese spot but the server said this was their speciality and he was right to do so. This was an excellent sandwich, top to bottom, in a cozy spot in Brooklyn. Highly reccomend it for anyone that loves brisket, banh mis, or just a delicious sandwich in general. Also we got summer rolls and those were good too.

I think it's good to note that this place is good for take outs. All the orders come out in a "take out ready" packaging. Water is also self service here. I got the smoked brisket banh mi and pho, but the meat in both were very thick and a bit hard to chew. I wish the pho had a deeper broth and had more toppings. The hoisin sauce and sriracha both came in tiny individual packets. Ambiance/interior seemed unfinished and they were just okay. There were only couple tables and I saw a lot of other customers sharing the same table b/c of the limited space. I feel like I definitely had better Vietnamese food elsewhere where it seemed more authentic and carefully prepared with the various ingredients.. But the staff was definitely friendly and accommodating with extra napkins, etc that we needed!

While visiting NYC we decided to stop in for a quick Bahn mi before a night of drinking out in the town. This spot is small but mighty but has seating enough for 20 people tops. I saw some table tops and seating outside as well to use but the weather was a little too cold for this Texas girl. Ordering was quick and easy as we dined in. We were even offered some spring rolls and tofu at closing as the staff ended up making a little more than they needed for the evening. Check out the specials where they pair pho or a Bahn mi with a beer (IPAs are included in this special too!) or another non-alcoholic drink.

I haven't came across a Vietnamese restaurant with this type of food before! It's definitely more modern style with a Texas twist?? The brisket banh mi was pretty solid - it tasted very different than the banh mis I'm used to but really good! The banh mi had a nice crust and the brisket was pretty tender. It could use a bit more seasoning but overall good!

This review is for their BROTH. They truly have the best BROTH EVER! And you can buy the broth alone for just $4, it is the cheapest hangover cure you'll find! The food is always made super fast and the inside is cute. Love that they are opening more locations!

The food here is AMAZING! This was my first time trying pho and the smoked brisket pho is a game changer. It's nicely seasoned and tender. Extra bonus points because the pho is a mushroom based. I love that the menu is pretty straight forward. All the proteins (include a vegan option) are available in pho, a bahn mi, vermecilli bowl or summer roll. In addition to the smoked brisket pho, I tried the smoked brisket bahn mi and some summer rolls (including the smoked brisket summer rolls). THAT'S how good the smoked brisket is ya'll. I also had the Black Iced Tea which was delicious. Love that there's some ginger in there. The restaurant has indoor seating, a back patio and street dining. Please note that the indoor seating is limited. They have their own site to place orders for delivery in addition to being on several other delivery platforms. The restaurant was packed and there was a constant flow of drivers picking up orders, so if it's on your list please don't hesitate to stop by! I'll definitely be back.

Stopped by on our way to a show at Brooklyn Bowl and we're overall happy with our experience (good food at a fast casual spot). Very americanized vietnamese food, but the smoked brisket is delicious and would recommend it as the main protein for any of the items (eg Pho, Bahn Mi, Rolls). We ended up splitting the Bahn Mi and 3 rolls (2 chicken one brisket). Unfortunately the rolls barely had any meat in them, so was difficult to truly rate the chicken. Also we ordered on the automatic kiosk when there, and then after waiting 20 min had to go up and ask for our order (which was mistakenly packed up as Togo), so if you are dinning in, make sure to check up on your food if it's been a while. Overall, would eat their Bahn Mi again (specifically the brisket).

I freaking love this place. I used Ubereats to order some pho, spring rolls and their iced tea. The smoked brisket pho was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The way the meat complimented to soup base & tender to a bite... the way the soup was hearty but not feeling too heavy traveled down to my esophagus to my stomach... everything about that whole experience was magical. The spring rolls were pretty good as an app. The iced tea was freshly brewed and not too sweet, which complimented my whole meal. I can't wait to come to Williamsburg and try this place dining in. Get your pho crave here!!

Ordered the Lime Grass Chicken sandwich and Brisket Bowl. The sandwich was very savory and fresh Good portion of meat to greens ratio. Bread was a soft crunch but a little too flakey. Brisket Bowl was very good. Was craving more brisket after! Service was very fast the shop was such a cute vibe, will be ordering again!

Lots of menu options. Great service. Love the outdoor seating in the back. Was not crowded at all Saturday late lunchtime. So tasty. Just an awesome casual sit down lunch and such good quality. Solid spot for no frills, fast casual Vietnamese food. I've been here a few times and can never resist their tofu banh mi--super thick and filling with all the sauces you could ask for already at each table. This is possibly the best banh mi I've had in New York but I haven't tried enough to qualify myself. Prices are fair for the area and this has become a bit of a go-to, need-food-now place in Williamsburg.

So glad that I stopped in for a takeout lunch! I had their Lemongrass Chicken Bahn Mi. The bread itself, pickled carrots, cucumbers, and other veggies all perfectly complemented the chicken itself. Will need to come back soon to try the Smoked Brisket Bahn M next!

I got their brisket pho to go, and it was very delicious. My recommendation for the noodle container though would be that it's shorter and wider so that it is easier to be eaten out of. The amount of noodles didn't seem like that much, but it was still a filling amount for lunch. I loved the amount of brisket they gave so it made up for the less noodles. Broth was yum. And for their to go orders, they give a reusable bag! That's a plus.

This place has some of the best vegetarian/vegan options compared to other nyc Vietnamese restaurants! I'm not vegan but the vegan ginger chickn bahn mi was soo flavorful. I also loved their signature brisket pho!! The brisket was so tender and juicy and the broth was really packed with rich flavor. Also don't miss their cute hidden backyard! @nyconthetable

Casual and cozy ambience, friendly staff, and delicious food for carnivores as well as vegans! I'm vegan and always love when I have more than one choice that's not salad to enjoy from a restaurant. We tried the bahm mi, pho, and stir fry noodles with tofu and delicious plant based chicken. The peanut butter and hot sauces are on point. The Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk is to DIE for and my husband loved the iced tea. We loved our seats outdoor in the super cute backyard and couldn't recommend this restaurant more. Definitely coming back with friends!

Mediocre vermicelli bowl... I've never seen a vermicelli bowl without cilantro and mint. Had to douse mine in fish sauce to make up for the fresh flavors lacking that I love in Vietnamese cuisine. I also tried the pho broth.... Very strong on the cinnamon. Glad I didn't order a pho. I will not be coming here again. For reference I have lived in Asia and traveled throughout Vietnam. I adore Asian soups (pho, Tom yum, soondubu, ramen).

I don't like giving low reviews and I probably should've researched the menu beforehand, but it is not normal pho - more like southern fusion so it really did not hit my pho craving at all. Honestly smoked brisket gets dried out and actually overpowers the entire soup. Literally just tastes like the brisket and it's fat, which is not terrible but doesn't even taste like pho anymore. I'd say skip the pho if you're looking for that craving, order something else like banh mi.

More feeling a 2.5 if comparing to the pho I grew up with, but 3 in compatible to pho in ny The noodles were good! The soup was warm and comforting. I'm not sure if I'm a fan of a smoked brisket - it gave me Texas bbq vibes mixed with Asian noodles. Service was nice and quick! Ambiance was casual. Still appreciate this place as something quick and warm, just not the most authentic pho places.

Having just returned from a trip to Vietnam, we were craving Vietnamese and discovered this gem in Williamsburg. We ordered the vegetarian chicken pho. Noodles were standard. But the flavors!! Deeelicious. Broth was tasty (and vegan!) Aromatics were good and the vegetarian meat was satisfying. My only complaint is that I wish there was more!

Came here to eat after seeing lots of positive reviews on yelp. This place seems like a relatively new business. I walked in and know I wanted to get pho and the man at the counter helped me place my order. I sat down inside and waited for the order which didn't take much time to come out. The soup was very flavorful and the chicken meat was very tender. The price is a bit high for a bowl of pho coming close to $20. I also wish the broth was hotter. I liked that there was sate, sriracha and hoisin sauce available.

I stopped by and ordered a brisket pho and the meat was so delicious - it reminded me of southern bbq style smoked brisket more so than traditional pho and was very thick cut and just a little fatty which I liked. There's a nice little back patio seating area and my friends both enjoyed their bahn mis. Definitely recommend!

Tried the Beef brisket Banh Mi sandwich. It was great! I would recommend it. Generally, I'm not a fan of the traditional Banh Mi sandwiches because the are usually a little too dry to suit my taste. BUT this brisket had the the just right texture and taste. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I've been to Lucy's a few times, but only during the peak pandemic times. The space is very small, with only a few tables in the front area. Ordering is at the counter. Indoor seating was closed the last time I went, as was the backyard area. Outdoor seating in the front was open. I've tried the following dishes: Tofu Summer Roll (4/5): A nice rendition of a summer roll. Nice, fresh ingredients. No major issues with this dish! Vegan Ginger Chick'n Pho (4.5/5): I really enjoyed this pho. It was super flavorful for a vegetarian broth. The noodles were well cooked -- not too stiff or soggy. There was an ample amount of veggies in it, in addition to the vegan chick'n. I would definitely order it again. Vegan Ginger Chick'n Banh Mi (3.5/5): This was a decent vegetarian banh mi. The bread wasn't bad -- it wasn't fresh out of the oven, but was very decent. There could've been more bo, but the sandwich otherwise had the right internal contents. I really like Lucy's and would definitely return for a nice bowl of pho!

Personally not my favorite place for Vietnamese cuisine. The authentic flavor is missing. I will note that for a restaurant that is trying to be more vegetarian/vegan friendly, I will acknowledge that they provide you plenty of vegetables in their portions. The pho broth wasn't so bad either, but this is not somewhere I would go out of my way for in order to have Vietnamese food.

It's soup. It had chicken. Broth was ok. But choi and huge sections of chicken thighs??No herbs. This sure isn't pho.

I was really craving noodle soup today, so I decided to give this place a try. I ordered their brisket pho to go, which is a bit pricey ($15.95 pre-tax) and it was delicious. The brisket was so tender and there was a generous amount of meat. I wish the broth was a touch more flavorful, but overall the pho was fantastic. My biggest problem is how they packaged the food... The soup and veggies were in one container and the noodles and brisket were in another... Both were reasonably full so it was tough to pour soup into one container and vice versa. I wish they gave you a bowl or something for take out to combine everything.

American Pho. Don't try unless you're looking for that type of food. I tried bc they had good reviews and 4.3 stars. For the broth being vegan, it's pretty good. It's just not pho. If you think it's just noodle soup, it's decent food. Unfortunately the noodles were over cooked for me, they give you a very small amount of bean sprout, some weird hot sauce that's nothing similar to Siracha or hot oil spice sauce. I got the brisket pho as they advertise. The brisket alone is good but not sure if it belongs on a bowl of pho. We also got chicken banhmi but that was meh. Maybe this is a good place for vegans. Not sure. The time to service, place, music etc was all good. But don't come here expecting the traditional pho. As my bf puts it, "this seems like an instagramable place except there's no Instagram spot"

I was a little skeptical at the rave Yelp reviews for Lucy's when I arrived yesterday - it was largely empty at the beginning of the dinner period (6:00 PM), but after eating here, I can safely say that this is a premier Pho destination in the NYC area. The good: Quality of ingredients, fast prep and cooking, great service, extremely reasonable pricing The not-so-good: Bar none, Lucy's has some of the best broth and meat portions I've ever had in Pho. The brisket alone was extremely tender, was well seasoned, and was of the same quality that you'd expect at a barbecue joint. My wife had the lemongrass chicken, which was equally well-seasoned and is extremely high quality. In retrospect, Lucy's could charge much more for their Pho offerings than they do, but I was thrilled at the price point. Two pho bowls plus drink, tax, and tip, was $40. I look forward to coming back to Lucy's and trying the rest of the menu. Outstanding experience.

One of my favorite spots for flavorful vegetarian pho! I've only gotten delivery once or twice but love that they're very knowledgeable in terms of dietary restrictions. The veggie broth is delish! Though I do wish they had seafood protein to be able to add (I'm halal/pescatarian), I love that this is a great option! Their vegan 'chicken' is actually pretty good and flavorful and this is coming from someone who usually doesn't like vegan 'chicken'. Would love to go in person some time but for now delivery has always been on point!

I was expecting a pork-belly option to be honest. The sandwich was alright but that was really disappointing that they only had short ribs. Didn't have a lot of flavor and was messy. The service was solid, the ambiance had a great vibe, I was expecting a little more.

My friend and I came on weekend for lunch. We both got a lemongrass chicken bahn mi. Not super impressed, apart from the tender chicken, there wasn't much flavor going on. Especially for the price. There are definitely better and cheaper bahn mi places.
