Seafood lovers, you need to visit Luke's Lobster and try their lobster roll. Your options are 4 oz. or 6 oz., both of which are overflowing with lobster meat. Indulge yourself and get the 6 oz. roll. The meat is fresh. The sauce is butter-based and not mayo-based, and that butter sauce compliments the lobster so well. The menu also has crab roll and shrimp roll. If you want to try all three rolls, get the Luke's Trio, which is 2 oz. of each roll. It is nice to try a little bit of everything, but I will stick with the lobster roll since it is the best of the three.
The menu is pretty straightforward. There are the 3 rolls and a few seasonal options. There are a few sides as well: soup, clam chowder, poppyseed slaw, and lobster mac and cheese. Alcohol is BYOB.
The space is very small so it is easy to walk past and miss this place if you are not paying attention. The inside does not fit that many people. Takeout and delivery are also options though.
The prices are high but are also as expected since fresh seafood is never cheap. The shrimp roll is the cheapest of the three, and the lobster roll is the most expensive of the three. At least BYOB will save you some money on alcohol. Also, your wallet and waistline will appreciate you not eating buttery lobster rolls all the time.
Luke's Lobster is the best place for a lobster roll in the city. The 6 oz. roll and a side is an okay amount of food for me. It is not the most filling, but at least that gives me plenty of room for dessert or another meal later on.
