The 38 Best Restaurants in Tel Aviv | Eater

"Meat fanatics will meet their match at this no-frills, tavern-style eatery, which serves the best cuts from Meatmarket, a high-end butcher shop just next door. Sink your teeth into arayes — huge pitas jam-packed with ground lamb, and then thrown on the grill. Wash it down with a shot of arak, an anise-flavored drink. [$$]" - Keren Brown

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to food wise. This is a review of my meal and each item involved. The chicken hearts: very very nice 8/10. I like them but would not waste time on it again compared to the other stuff. Tenderloin: mum loved it and it was some of the best cooked and cut beef I’ve ever had and still not the best part of this meal. 10/10. Ox hearts: very great amazing and unexpectedly one of my favourites. 11/10 very dark meat darkest I’ve ever had. Super juicy but pretty unseasoned but the coriander plus salt made it incredible. Arayes: it is basically a lamb burger in pita compressed and cooked together. The burger itself was fine but with the meaty pita crispy it was one of the best meat dishes I’ve ever eaten. 15/10. Overall, M25 was very very very very good. The meats were all perfectly cooked and delicious. If I could give this 6 stars I would.

Fun meat market restaurant in the souk. There's a line to get in but it moved quickly for us. Small menu focused on meat dishes with a couple of salads for balance, all were tasty. There was a lamb sandwich dish that comes out like a panini that was terrific. Very rich so split among a few people. Overall this is a strong restaurant for lamb and beef dishes in a cool atmosphere. It is loud, as to be expected in a market.

This place knows their meat. It is one of those places you have to go to to understand. Toung is incredible. Cornbeef is made perfectly. Their crack pie is simply to die for. Only bad thing is the lineups and crowds. I only go there if I pass and see empty spots. Well done friends. Update - their butchers steak is simply insane. Wow. Another trip and of course it was incredible. Tartar was so good. Bulls heart was insane. Crack pie. Omg!! As always this is one of my first stops in Israel and it was superb as always. They even let me in 10 min before they closed and gave my dog giant bones. I could not be happier. Thank you team.

Looks like a value spot, but prices are ridiculous. I ordered two small lamb chops and it was NIS 118(!). Quality was fine, nothing special. With so many better meat places in Tel Aviv, this isn’t worth the time or money. Service also wasn’t as friendly or helpful as you’d expect in Tel Aviv.

Food was good, loved the shawarma on tahini with tomatoes. Waiter friendly and could speak english which is not a given in tlv. Only thing i disliked were the baked/fried potatoes. Staff/kitchen should try them. They are hard and tasteless. Maybe bake them less time and salt them.

I used to love this place, but unfortunately, the standards have slipped. The stuffed onion was quite dry and really could have used a sauce to bring it together. The Arais had a surprisingly small amount of meat inside—definitely not what it used to be. On a positive note, the service was excellent—very warm and welcoming.

Great evening outside (lots of room indoors). Kind, attentive, energetic team. Great food - try different skewered meat dishes, green salad - excellent value. Thank you

Keep it simple, as a concept, but very well executed. Probably the best meat restaurant experience I have ever visited. Side dishes and desserts are delicious such as the starters and the main portions. Service is extremely dedicated and willing to guide you from the moment you enter and until you leave. Our waitress was very attentive and gave us great recommendations. Recommended!
