The 38 Best Restaurants in Tel Aviv | Eater

"Meat fanatics will meet their match at this no-frills, tavern-style eatery, which serves the best cuts from Meatmarket, a high-end butcher shop just next door. Sink your teeth into arayes — huge pitas jam-packed with ground lamb, and then thrown on the grill. Wash it down with a shot of arak, an anise-flavored drink. [$$]" - Keren Brown

Great place. Delicious salads, I tend to avoid ordering steaks, they are expensive like everywhere in Israel and do not reach the level of meat in the US. All other dishes are interesting and delicious.

This is not a good place to eat meat. I had a ribeye, medium rare. And it was a challenge to chew it, and I even cut it. A good place to try brain nuggets. The tartar was just bad. The taste of vinegar instead of beef. That would be a reasonable place for 1/3 of the price. But for restaurant prices you could go just anywhere else. Another thing is the atmosphere. This is literally a table on the market without AC.

Food was delicious and the concept is unique! You can order fresh meat types and cuts of your choosing which they then prepare for you. Alternatively, there are items on the menu that you can order instead of the custom meat selections. In addition to the meat, we ordered a couple of salads that were also very delicious! You must try the tahini dish— that plate was nearly licked clean at our table! The service was really fantastic, very friendly and helpful guys. We did have a small issue with some undercooked meat. They went above and beyond to rectify the situation in a professional manner. I highly recommended coming here for some high-quality, tasty meat!

A hidden gem! If you’re a meat lover, this is your place! Can order off the menu or go to the butcher’s glass and choose your own steak, skewers, beef, chicken, and many other options. They weigh it for you and then grill it to perfection. Everything we ordered (& we ordered a lot of food for 8 people!) was delicious! Yummy grilled vegetables on the side. Their Shuk Green salad was excellent! And to top it all off, the desserts were so delicious! The best malabi we’ve ever had! We sure hope to make it back again soon!

Was here a year ago and now again today. The best steak in Israel. Period. Hidden in a non assuming spot in the middle of the Carmel Market, this spot is a must on any list! Got the ribeye with the tomato and tahini salad, was enough for the two of us and we we savored every single bite.

The meat was great and was prepared on the spot. The service was friendly and as professional as you would expect for this restaurant. The waitress knew the wines and recommended a suitable wine and made her best to time our dishes. The place is a bit crowded and the inside is rather open so it was somewhat windy and I managed to smell a few cigarettes and some weed from the outside.

NOT KOSHER, the French has to stop piggy shit me. It is not kosher. You can explain your story about the sugar daddy butcher delivering the meat. No Tehuda = non kosher. go in the open space in the back. Lovely space. Service is casual, polite and super efficient. Meat is amazing for non kosher. Go wild. You must, not should, must try the Arayes - first on the menu. Surprising good meat stuffed in quarter's pita. Love this non kosher place.

Belated review. Been there twice. Food reasonable. Layout basic, matter of taste. Service horrendous. Group of 6, after a long wait brought out 5 orders, they simply forgot the 6th, a medium well hamburger. Once we reminded them, they rushed to bring it with a raw patty. Literally raw patty scorched on the outside. Best stay away.
