Malibu Barbie Cafe

I have attended other Barbie pop up events in the past which were less expensive and more elaborately decorated. The food was average and over priced for what was offered. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. We booked three tables for a group of 12. We were told that there was no guarantee of being seated together but it worked out that we had tables next to each other by our own finagaling. Originally the staff seated us with a table in between our group but the girls at the middle table told us they were leaving and we moved to that table to merge our group. Our waiter was nice and always addressed us as "Barbies." Overall it was a fun and unique experience that provided many photo opportunities to create lasting memories.

The vibes are fun but the service left much to be desired. We could never find our server which was pretty frustrating. It was not busy at all during our reservation so I was confused why this occurred. The preordered food was good but not great. They were nice enough to let us change 2 of the entrees. My group enjoyed the drinks - especially the margaritas. Definitely on point with the Barbie brand and would be fun for parents to bring daughters here. They have a roller skating rink for $1 that looked fun! Lots of fun spots to take photos. I just think for the cost the service and food could have been a little bit more impressive and left much to be desired.

This is such a cool experience. This atmosphere is really cute. The servers are cool and friendly. The food is really good. We have a bunch of appetizers ( beet hummus, artichoke dip), the club sandiwhc, burgers, cauliflower bowl, and kiddie sprinkle pancakes and nuggets. The burgers were soooooo good! We also tried a mock tail 😋 Everyone enjoyed their meals. Our server Paige was absolutely wonderful. She was so attentive, prompt and proactive and the best Barbie in the house 😉💁🏽‍♀️ She definitely got 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

The food was shockingly excellent! We ordered the cauliflower bowl with added chicken and the burger. They give you an option of a side with each entree. I wasn't expecting much, but I wish I could get that curried cauliflower bowl again at a restaurant! It definitely wasn't cheap. Our total with the entrees with added chicken and a beer ended up around $113. I guess you're paying for the experience (which was really cute). Definitely go with someone that wants to take pictures!

Perfect place to take for our little “Barbie Girl.” It’s not just for kids, adults will enjoy themselves too. There are definitely more kids the earlier you come. Paige our server, was fantastic! We had so much fun with her. She was super friendly, and patient. Would definitely be fun for a girls’ night too! Great photo opportunities, and the roller skating was a great added bonus (definitely kept our daughter entertained 😅). The food was pleasantly delicious- no complaints!

Very nice place :) I went there with my friend to see the barbie theme place. Very pinky, vivid color and cute interior design. We love this place. Smaller than I thought but very cute and nice place to take photos~ we took a lotttttt ;P Before visiting there you should book and there is an entrance fee which include the meal. I choose the pancake and my friend choose the burger which is really good. I didn't expect food at all (you know..I always think this kind of place has no good food) but surprisingly good! There are lots of moms and kids. I guess it is kids friendly place(specially for girls) but we also enjoyed a lot.

In full transparency I was a little nervous about attending the cafe pop up after reading a few reviews on food/service however we had an amazing experience! My mom and I had a great time! Our server was Kyle who told us we could call him Ken if we wanted. He was very kind, patient, and provided excellent service. Although not required I felt that he took an interest in our excitement, swag, and Barbies we brought with us. Although I am not sure of her name the hostess was also excellent! Another staff to mention is Issac who was working the roller rink. He was so helpful getting us knee pads, helping my mom put on her skates, and took photos of us as well. A few of the reviews mentioned concerns with the food. Our meal was excellent! My mom had the club sandwich with side salad and I had the double cheeseburger with side salad. The salad was high end and the dressing was so good! Portions were decent size as well. We did not get extra drinks or items however they were available. We loved all the photo areas! Few tips: 1. Skating is a $1 however it's purchased through a QR code upon arrival. You can sign up for a time once seated. There is also a waiver to sign via a QR code. 2. Go during an off time. We went on a Wednesday at 1045am and it wasn't too crowded. I can see it being a little more difficult to enjoy if busy. We had a beautiful cloudy day but again less enjoyable on a hot or rainy weather day I would imagine. 3. Dress up! So many photo opportunities! 4. Leave plenty of time for parking and walking to the cafe

Had a blast at this unique restaurant experience. Pink as far as the eye can see! Very friendly and helpful staff! Our server was Matthew and he was amazing accomodating every request from our large group. Food was surprisingly yummy too. We had burgers, grilled cheese and the cauliflower bowl. Lots of wonderful photo opportunities and lots of leisure time once you are done eating. Make sure you call for reservations. Highly recommend!
