Wow what started as an impromptu brunch turned into a 10/10 experience I’m truly impressed. I've visited the new Manifest location numerous times for hot tea and coffee with a friend. We usually kick off our Saturdays with a neighborhood walk and a stop here. This past Saturday, we were greeted by Keith who is always amazing and welcoming and while we were ordering, he told us about the new brunch happening downstairs. We had zero plans to brunch that day, but the menu looked so good we said, why not? I'm so glad we did. The food was outstanding and the service was too . A huge thank you to our wait staff, Geneve and Dario (apologies if I misspelled your name.) you both made our experience truly special. KJ was also incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. I always appreciate when Founders and upper management take the time to personally greet guests it makes the experience feel one of a kind. I've already been bragging to friends, and I will absolutely be returning soon. Great job, Manifest team keep up the amazing work! Also keep the guava mimosa on the menu forever🔥

We stumbled across this restaurant by accident. We were browsing at clothes and were suprised when we went downstairs & saw this restaurant. We sat at the bar and Telly was our bartender. He gave us a great rundown of the menu and suggested the best drinks & meals. He then suggested that we return on a Saturday to try their brunch. He did not lie! The French toast was sooo good! We had French toast, the short rib burger, and the fish sandwich along with their house made sodas. Sooo good! THANKS TELLY FOR PROPERLY INTRODUCING US TO THIS RESTAURANT AND EVEN SUGGESTING TO TRY THE BRUNCH! Food/atmosphere/customer service was 10/10 would recommend

I had to share my wonderful experience. The staff turned a bad day into a good one with their kindness and flexibility. The service 10/10. The bread service includes the most delicious plantain bread with butter candle. Try the white bolognese with a berber twist, buttermilk plantains, Brussel sprouts with green curry, the endive pear cesar, lobster, the wings!—finish with the key lime with mile high merengue—Yassss

Recently visited for a weekend dinner reservation - website provides that reservations are for members and the reservations open up for non members on Mondays. It was easy for me to book a reservation online. We entered through the main entrance with an easy check in with the hostess. We waited about 10 minutes browsing the retail area and then were greeted by staff to walk to another entrance and enter an elevator down to the restaurant. Seemed a little clunky to walk outside of the main area to another door and down to the restaurant when there is an entrance inside of the main area. Hour(s) has chic and minimal decor and the layout of the restaurant is intimate. The restaurant is a little too dark for my liking making it hard to view the menus and even dishes as they arrive to the table. The staff is phenomenal - Lex our server had great suggestions and knew the menu well - he checked on us regularly without being intrusive and other team members made sure our water glasses stayed filled and empty plates were removed from the table. Very great service. The food was great and is served tapas style however I felt the dishes were very filling especially the fried lobster and smoked brisket (which are on the higher end of the menu at around $60-70 per dish). The menu is very thoughtful and the flavor pairings are really good. I truly enjoyed the Brussels sprouts skewers. The ambiance and atmosphere is so sexy and the playlist was top tier if you enjoy 90s vibes and the like. Hope to visit again in the speak easy or bar area for drinks. Paid street parking available and nearby paid decks (I’m unsure if they have valet) $$$

Dined here last night and it was nothing short of amazing. When you enter through the main entrance, the setup of the venue is really nice—inviting colors, a great layout, and an overall great vibe. At the bottom of the steps, we were met by the host, Dina (Manager of After (h)ours), who greeted us warmly and showed us to our seats. Along the way, she even took a moment to point out different parts of the restaurant, which was a nice touch. Once seated, we were helped by Rudy, who did an excellent job explaining the menu and recommending items for us to try. The service overall was outstanding, and we had no complaints at all. Will definitely be back.

March 7, 2026 at 2:30 PM for Brunch TL,DR: Love the ambiance and the service was great but I felt as if the food was pretty average for cost. Additionally, the bill includes a 22% auto-gratuity no matter the size of your party, and the machine prompts you with the option to add more when paying. Ambiance (5/5): This is one of the most visually appeasing restaurants I have been too. The entrance on the street level that descends into a basement restaurant after exiting the spiral staircase is definitely one for the books. On top of this, the shade of pink used for the walls creates a vibe that is not only beautiful, but in my opinion keeps those in the restaurant in a soothing mood. This was extremely noticeable as it is a small seating area in the main area, and it wasn’t loud even though it was fairly packed. It’s also important to note that the restaurant does extend into a bar area and a back room. We were offered to sit in the bar area but chose the main area. Service (4/5): The service was great Our service was very attentive and checked-in on us multiple times. Not only was he friendly, but wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. The only reason I gave a 4/5 was because, our server did forget pepper that we asked for twice, but another friendly team member went the extra mile to help us. Food (3/5): I ordered the Skillet Seafood Omelette for myself, and shared the French Toast Bread Pudding with my friend. The French Toast was nothing short of phenomenal, and I’d return to get that just based on how good it tasted alone. However, the Skillet Seafood Omelette did not quite meet my expectations. Although well made, I found it to be an average taste and something I could have made at home. First, I expected a traditional omelette, but this was a frittata at it’s core. I am not a fan of frittata’s because in my opinion they bring out all of the worst parts of the egg taste, and had I known it was a frittata and not an omelette, I would have ordered something different. Special Note: This weren’t taken into consideration for rating but I thought it was important to note that a 22% auto-gratuity is added to your bill no matter the size of your party, and when you pay, it has the audacity to ask for an extra tip on top of that. Anytime I see this as a restaurant I note it, as I normally tip 20% unless service is bad, and reserve anything higher than 20% for exceptional service.

This review is for the bar only, we didn't dine here, only grabbed a couple of drinks. Really loved the subterranean setting, bright minimalist decor, super clean and evokes the set of a Kubrick sci-fi movie more than a speakeasy. Holiday's cocktail program is superb, with drinks playing homage to DC in name, with a plethora of creative ingredients combining for some of the most unique cocktails I have ever tasted. Just like the setting, the drinks tasted otherworldly. Highly recommended.

And let's talk about the short rib burger because WOW. Easily one of the best burgers I've had--perfectly cooked, insanely flavorful, rich without being heavy, and absolutely worth the hype. Manifest brings the vibe the DC scene needs! I always return to their first location for the drinks and enjoy bringing family and friends there! The new location is next level! Love the interior design, aesthetic, and layout. I hope they are able to take advantage of the space and host more events like Hanifa and wellness activities. I went to Manifest to celebrate my boyfriend's promotion with some cheers and bites! I enjoyed the white bolognese. 4/5 my boyfriend was skeptical about the food saying they are not an establishment for food but you'd be quite surprised. It was the star of the show! The cocktails were good! I was looking forward to getting my black savant drink I always get at their other location but note that the drink menu is different as there is different management I believe. So in that case, again, give the food a try! The host was kind in helping me communicate with my cousin which part of the location to make a reservation. If you are looking for the speakeasy it is the lounge/after hours. The bar is extension of the dinning area as pictured. I recommend everyone go and see for themselves the vibes and what Manifest has to offer!

If you liked the original Manifest, you'll love the 2.0 version. It's larger, more open, and feels bright and spacious while maintaining the same signature design. This location includes a barbershop, coffee shop, clothing boutique, bar, and full restaurant all under one roof. I stopped in just for a drink, but the restaurant was already buzzing for a Tuesday evening. The hostess and bartenders were friendly and welcoming. The cocktail menu is creative, though next time I may opt for a custom drink instead. I loved ending the night with French press coffee and a delicious chocolate cake. My only drawback is the parking--there isn't much nearby, and with all the surrounding construction, Uber is definitely your best bet.c

What a beautiful space and concept. Popping in for a latte and to work for a bit, Manifest is more than a cafe. It's a design-forward store with clothes, fragrances, and more, a bar, and an underground restaurant. Since I went for just coffee, I can only speak to the cafe. First of all, I really enjoyed my latte- strong and creamy. The barista was very nice as was each staff member. There's a long table to sit at or at the bar with a few outlets nearby. The wifi is easy to connect to and is strong. I'd go back for sure!

10s, 10s, 10s across the board! Food, Service, Vibe! Had a fabulous girls night at Hour(s) Dining Room within Manifest! Manifest has a cafe/bar, gallery for shopping, restaurant and speakeasy lounge. Let's dig into restaurant: Do I have to break down all the food? It was all 10s! Grilled wings, White bolognese, Collard Green Rockefeller Oysters, Brussel Sprouts. Order it all! The only thing mid was the complimentary bread service. The bread gave store bought dinner roll! The butter was a candle which was so adorable. They did not miss on the details and providing an upscale experience! Make a reservation! Parking is non existent . Manifest is located on a one way street with limited parking. It's about a ten minute walk to a parking garage within Union market. Dressed for the experience for Manifest, they need to have a Valet or Uber. There were reservations for the speakeasy when I made my dinner reservation and thought I won't worry about it and see if there is a seat to not rush dinner. Rookie move! Make the reservation for the speakeasy at the same time! Needless to say I will be back!

(h)ours was an absolutely gorgeous bar experience. My friend and I got reservations for 6pm on a Friday, and loved how the space came alive as the night went on. Every design detail is studied and intentional; it's a futuristic kind of Miami Art Deco vibe. It reminded me of Glossier. As for the drinks and the service, they were unmatched. For the quality and complexity of the drinks, the prices are a steal (they were around $20 apiece). I didn't try any wine, but the wine list was carefully curated, and I liked how much Wonderwerk they had on the menu. I liked both of what I tried (in particular the first item on the menu, some acronym name that has a nut-forward taste).

Went here to try out their drinks as I heard they're good value. And I wholeheartedly agree with that sentiment. I ordered the rose green tea drink and loved the flavor + size you get for $5.50 (including tax). Indoors, the place is chic and very clean. I would probably not use their barber services or try their restaurant downstairs, but I would absolutely get more of their drinks in the future.

I've always loved The Office at Manifest and I remember thinking that adding food to the menu would be such a dope idea. The new Manifest Union Market with (h)ours is a beautiful, contemporary dining concept. It's perfect for date night or a small group outing. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, and the overall vibe was relaxed yet elevated. We ordered the brussels sprout skewers, chicken dumplings, and candied yams which were all delicious. The candied yams comes with this beautiful sugar glazed lattice that sits on top. It's a true masterpiece to looks at. I also got to try the brisket, which ended up being my favorite dish of the night. Overall, I would definitely consider this to be an incredible addition to the Union Market area. Great food, great service, and the same energy from the flagship location in Adam's Morgan. Looking forward to coming back to check out the after (h)ours speakeasy next time!

The concept of the space is so creative, I love the barbershop play on a bar as well as street wear upon entry. The restaurant was located around the corner. The food pleasantly surprised me, even though the menu was small, everything we had was fantastic. My favorite dish was the roasted black cobia. It was so flavorful and each bite was so delicious and the fish was so buttery. The wings were also super delicious as well and perfectly seasoned. The Brussel sprouts with the sauce were also extremely tasty. I would 100% come back it's cute for date night or an intimate dinner with friends!

Manifest 002 is the sister location of AdMo's 001 - this 2-level spot in NoMa has shopping options, a cafe bar, and a barbershop. After an appointment for the barber for the hubs, we decided to check out some of their eats - try the Caviar-topped Peking duck bites and the Penny Candy & Pickles beverage! We enjoyed their selection of clothing! Online booking is super convenient, and staff were friendly. Manifest's new Union Market location is stunning. I visited during opening week and was blown away by how intentional and seamless every part of the space feels. It's not just one concept -- it's a café, barbershop, curated retail area, full restaurant, and speakeasy lounge all connected through beautiful design and atmosphere. The flow is what makes it special: enjoy dinner in the restaurant, then get escorted to the lounge for cocktails and dessert -- no awkward transitions, just a smooth, elevated experience. The décor is gorgeous, warm, and modern without feeling pretentious. You genuinely want to spend time here. I also really appreciated the thoughtful hiring in the café, including members of the Deaf community, which reflects the neighborhood and adds to the inclusive, community-centered vibe. Great for working during the day, catching up with friends, or a full date-night progression from dinner to drinks to after-hours energy. Manifest has created something meaningful here.... not just a place to go, but a place to be.

Food was decent. Cobia was 5/5. Plantain bread butter and extras were 4/5; cool that the butter was in the candle but it wasn't salty as I like. Raw oyster kiwi mignonette was overpowering, 3/5. Jerk wings 5/5. Key lime tiramisu 4/5. I would go back. They had good music but kept on skipping bangers! Good service with explanations on dishes and comfy seats. Next time I'm in DC I'll check out some other menu items.

I love this new restaurant and feel grateful I got to go to their opening week! Lex was fantastic--so personable, really added such a nice touch to our evening. And my sherry-heavy cocktail was such the perfect flavor profile for me that I couldn't bring myself to try another one and had to order a second of the same instead! My partner's cocktail came in a beautiful glass that looked like a mix between a genie's lamp and a beaker, which was so fun. Then...the food is ON POINT. There is nothing that I wouldn't order again. But...I also want to try all the other food on the menu, so we're at an impasse. The bread, butter, and charcuterie service is super unique--I won't spoil the surprise! The chicken and dumplings were also different and fun, both in presentation and taste--definitely don't expect what your grandma used to make. The white bolognese had such an interesting flavor profile with the addition of berbere spice. The grilled chicken wings and slaw were my partner's favorite--the flavor slapped and they were so tender, I think maybe roasted under a brick?? Finally, my personal favorite, the Iberico Secreto--it was just decadent. I would have eaten a whole new order of it if I hadn't been so stuffed. I don't even tend to love/choose meat--and this dish proved me wrong. It was like eating candy. Can you tell I'm dreaming about it right now? We didn't even make it to dessert, so we clearly have to come back.

review is mostly for the restaurant (hours, downstairs). cocktails are interesting, lacking a bit of finesse at the price point though. food menu is a bit scattered, but everything is tasty. the space is beautiful, the bar is separate from the dining room, which is a little more intimate/lower lighting. there's also a "speakeasy" type lounge/hidden bar.

(h)ours hosted a group of 10-15 of us in the bar area and the service was top tier. It was an amazing experience and the music was a vibe. The bartenders were friendly and the cocktails were out of this world. Most of us ordered drinks, but I also ordered the wings and they were tasty too. This one of the most unique spots I've ever visited in Washington D.C. Highly recommend this spot if you're trying to get a group of friends together for a gathering!

We had such a wonderful experience at After Hours at Manifest. We brought some friends who were visiting from Houston and they loved it. The drinks were fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for some after dinner drinks. A special shoutout to our server, Rudy, who made the experience even better. She was so kind and went the extra step once she found out it was my friend's birthday. You can tell she truly cares about the guest experience. We'll definitely be coming back soon and recommending this place to friends and family. Thank you for delicious cocktails and even better service.
