The Best Restaurants In North Beach - Miami - The Infatuation

"You can tell the chef at Marc’s has a special relationship with his dough. It crunches where it ought to, is chewy where it needs to be, and has a flavor encouraged by 48 to 72 hours of patient, loving glances. There are two pizza shapes to choose from, a square Sicilian pie with a tall, shattering crust. Or a thin circle with steamy pockets of air. If you can only choose one, go for the round, which tickles the same neuron that was activated upon your very first bite of pizza. They’ve also got some good non-pizza appetizers and reasonably priced bottles of wine. Thanks to some online hype, weekend lines have been intense lately, so try to come early or in a patient mood." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo

The Best Miami Restaurants Your Dad (Probably) Won’t Hate - Miami - The Infatuation

"If a recent experience with a trendy $50 pizza (after tax, tip, and delivery fees) sent your dad into a spitting tirade, take him to Marc’s (after he calms down). This simple North Beach pizza shop will restore his faith in so-called “artisanal” pies. Marc’s pizza is amazing—made from a slowly fermented dough full of flavor, topped with carefully sourced meats and cheeses, and brought to the table with zero pomp or circumstance. More great news for dad: the Jersey cheese, the cheapest pizza on the menu at $18, is also one of the best." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo

Marc’s pizza crust tastes like a lifetime of obsession - Review - Miami - The Infatuation

"The second you bite into the crust at Marc’s, you can tell the chef has a special relationship with his dough. It crunches where it ought to, is chewy where it needs to be, and has a complex flavor encouraged by 48 to 72 hours of patient, loving glances. All trips to Marc’s should revolve around heartfelt appreciation of pizza dough. photo credit: Cleveland Jennings / @eatthecanvasllc photo credit: Cleveland Jennings / @eatthecanvasllc photo credit: Cleveland Jennings / @eatthecanvasllc photo credit: Cleveland Jennings / @eatthecanvasllc Pause Unmute There are two pizza shapes to choose from, a fluffy square Sicilian pie with a tall, shattering crust like castle walls. Or a thin circle with steamy pockets of air. Both are excellent, and if you’re here with four people, you should have one of each. If you can only choose one, go for the round, because, fresh from the oven, it tickles the same neuron that was activated upon your very first bite of pizza. The toppings are doled out in portions that don’t hog the spotlight—cupping pepperonis, for example, aren’t overused, and one of the better options here is actually their simple three-ingredient Jersey cheese pie. photo credit: Cleveland Jennings / @eatthecanvasllc The little restaurant is several notches more formal than your average grab-and-go slice shop. They don't even sell by the slice at all. A meal here involves sitting at one of the terrazzo tables and ordering an entire pie, which has about six formidable slices, so come with a friend or two. They’ve got reasonably priced bottles of wine and are just a few minutes from the beach and the Miami Beach Bandshell, in case you need a pre-concert meal. Things are pretty quiet here for now. On all our visits, tables were plentiful and service was fast. Once people find out how good this pizza is, that might change. Food Rundown Artichoke & Stracciatella The tender confit artichokes are roasted so there’s some crispy bits on top. It’s laid over a pile of cold stracciatella. It’s a deeply enjoyable mix of textures and temperatures. Warm-up for pizza with this. photo credit: Cleveland Jennings / @eatthecanvasllc Caesar Salad Add the anchovies for an extra $2, and ask nicely for a side of the thick dressing. It acts as a marvelous crust dip when the pizza arrives. photo credit: Cleveland Jennings / @eatthecanvasllc Jersey Cheese You no longer have to resent the person in your life who always lobbies hard for the plain cheese pie. Bring them here for a cheese slice that proves the right ratios of tomato, cheese, and dough can be every bit as flavorful as a slice with half-a-dozen toppings. photo credit: Cleveland Jennings / @eatthecanvasllc Bianca This white pie is our favorite on the menu, and light enough to conceivably eat on your way to the beach—not just afterward. It’s dotted with fior di latte, ricotta, and caramelized onions. The sesame seed crust is the main reason you’ll wish you asked for a side of caesar dressing. photo credit: Cleveland Jennings / @eatthecanvasllc Pepperoni Piccante Square Sicilian Sometimes the square slice is an afterthought, but Marc’s treats theirs with just as much attention to detail. The dough is pillowy, but it nails the most important part of any square slice: those tall, crispy edges. Fight for the corner slices. Aunt Jean’s Chocolate Chip Cookie A crunchy exterior that gives way to soft, melty chocolate—enough for every bite, from edge to edge. Aunt Jean just gets it. photo credit: Cleveland Jennings / @eatthecanvasllc" - Ryan Pfeffer

Been coming here for over 6+ months and love it every time, service is amazing every time. So consistent - and the server, Cale whose been here all along, is so sweet and hospitable. The decor is so welcoming yet chic. You can tell the food is made with the highest of qualities in mind. And this isn’t Pizza Hut so it’ll take longer than usual. But trust me, it’s worth it. We’ve been here a couple of times and have our favorites, garlic knots. Bianca round. And jersey pizza round. Also the gelatos and cookie?! WOW

Marc’s Pizzeria in North Beach is the real deal, lives up to the hype, and is worth the wait process to get a table. We shared the pepperoni pizza and meatballs, and both were excellent. The pizza had a perfect bite throughout the entire slice, not just in the crust, with just the right amount of heat. The meatballs were flavorful and tender. The vibe inside was casual but stylish, and prices were very fair for Miami Beach. Highly recommend for a chill and tasty night out.

BEST PIZZA IN MIAMI, by far. There is zero debate. I have eaten at every reputable pizza place in Miami. This place is mind blowing. The crust is perfect. I ate an entire 14 inch pizza by myself and 2 meatballs and left feeling great. The dough wasn’t heavy and made us feel great. The pepperoni was spicy and was the best pepperoni I have ever had in my life. I have traveled to New Haven, Brooklyn, Jersey and Chicago to try different pizza places and can honestly say that Marcs’s pizza is top 3 in the country. The sauce is incredible. The shaved garlic on the anchovies pizza was out of this world. Service was just as good as the pizza! I will be coming back here for sure. Thank you for a great lunch. Fast forward 2 weeks later… I have now officially been here 3 times in 2 weeks and can honestly say that each time is better and better. On my 2nd visit I had the usual Jersey cheese and Pepperoni. I also finally tried the Caesar salad and can say it was AMAZING!!!! Definitely highly recommend the Caesar salad. It will not disappoint. On my third visit with another friend and his kids we decided to try the gelato which they source locally (I asked)… TIRAMISU GELATO WAS MOUTHWATERING! I love this restaurant and will forever be a life long supporter. Months later: After trying Marc’s it has become extremely difficult eating pizza anywhere else in Miami. I have come back 7 times since my first visit and can’t get enough. Neither can my kids lol. This establishment truly is spectacular through and through.

Google
This is a great, family-owned authentic pizza spot! You have to get there when they open as they don’t take reservations so you can walk up and ask for a table. Highly recommend and so worth it if you do have to wait! They keep the menu small with the highest quality ingredients and you can definitely taste the difference. Pizza and experience here is 10/10!

Google
This is a true family-run spot, and you can feel the warmth the moment you walk in. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of, and their service alone deserves five stars. The pizza was good. We tried the pepperoni pizza (just a little warning for future guests, it’s quite spicy) and the Bianca pizza, both enjoyable. The tiramisu ice cream was really tasty, and the artichoke was also delicious, definitely highlights of the meal. Overall, the kindness, attention, and dedication of the family running this place made the whole experience memorable. Supporting a local business with such genuine people is always worth it.

Google
Had Rossa Sicilian(artisan). Style, that I just started to get in to. Counting on my poor experience on this style of pizza, as it’s my second time. It takes 2nd place. Don’t get me wrong it was amazing, but first Sicilian pizza experience was like “Where have you been all this time?” I don’t know if I was lucky, oh what, but when I went there on Wednesday 4.30pm, there were only 2 more people at the door. AC was working😄 and service was flawless.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) Marc’s Artisanal Pizza – Miami Beach, FL My brother had been raving about this place for six months while I was living abroad, and after spending the past year chasing the world’s best pizza across Milan, Barcelona, Pisa, Florence, Madrid, New Haven, New York, and New Jersey, I walked into Marc’s Artisanal Pizza with sky-high expectations. And somehow… it exceeded them. This isn’t just The Best Pizza in Miami. It’s arguably one of the top 2 pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. The pepperoni slice stopped me in my tracks. Perfect balance of crisp and chew, a heat that hits just right, and flavors so rich you can tell the ingredients are sourced with obsessive care. I was borderline sweating, but smiling the entire time. The cheese pizza? Zero flop. Just clean, structured, and outrageously flavorful. A New York-style dream executed at a world-class level. I’ve eaten at Michelin-level spots like Confine in Milan and left underwhelmed. This, on the other hand, is artistry. The kind of pizza that deserves a spot on the global top 10 list, no exaggeration. Just know what you’re signing up for: there will be a 30–60 minute wait, and every single second will be worth it. If you love pizza the way I do, this isn’t a recommendation. It’s a pilgrimage. @pointstraveleat

Google
Marc’s Artisanal Pizzeria had been on my “must-try” list after seeing it all over social media. Expect about a 1-hour wait — put your name down and grab a drink at Bob’s nearby. The place is small, beautifully decorated, and worth the wait. The pizza is excellent with a thin, crunchy crust, but the artichoke starter completely wowed me — I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the starters! The staff run the place seamlessly while keeping a fun vibe, and our waitress Kelly was sweet, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. We’ll be back for her hospitality alone.

Yelp
This was my second time coming to Mark's Artisanal Pizza. I first came when they opened, and then again this past weekend, happy to say the pizza is just as good as the first time. The quality is consistent and the flavors are spot on. Their tomato sauce is unlike any I've had before, especially the one that comes with their garlic knots (don't skip those!). My sister ordered the mushroom pizza, not something I would usually go for, but she loved it. I tried the Rossa pizza, did half Rossa/half spicy pepperoni, and next time I'll probably just go full spicy pepperoni. The Rossa wasn't cheesy enough for me, though it seemed to be the most talked-about pie in line, so I had to try it. The ambiance is cute and cozy. The only area I see them struggling with a bit is service and wait times. But honestly, if you come knowing it's a popular local pizza spot, just expect to wait, kind of like Katana's. It's part of the experience. They'll figure out logistics with time, just growing pains. Bottom line: I'd absolutely recommend Marc's. Do yourself a favor and if you're lucky enough to snag a cookie before they sell out, pair it with the pistacho ice cream. Delicious.

Yelp
Lots of hype, but once everything settles, you wonder if they'll really last in Miami. The air conditioning was out, and even with a huge portable unit running, it was uncomfortably warm. Normally there are long lines since they only make a limited number of pizzas daily, but on a rainy Thursday there was no wait. I went with the Margherita, since that's the truest test of an artisanal pizzeria. Here it was just... average. Sauce didn't pop, cheese was fine, dough was ordinary. Nothing memorable. The Caesar salad looked fresh but was drowned in dressing and lackluster cheese. It felt heavy-handed and missed the mark. Overall: not bad, but not great. A place with buzz, but the food and experience don't really live up to it.

Yelp
Yesterday we stopped by Marc's for dinner. This was our first time here. What a pleasant surprise it turned out to be. Although it is a small restaurant, it was very cozy and pleasant with enough space between everyone. There are about 11-12 comfortable tables. The guests were all in a good mood and even with the loud talking, you could hear your own party perfectly well. It is casual dress there. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and there was only a short 15 minute wait. Our server was Ana, who was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about their menu. She made sure we had water at the table at all times by bringing an ice cold water bottle to be kept on our table. It was a hot day in Miami Beach so that was appreciated by us. We ordered the Artichoke & Stracciatella, which was confit artichoke roasted with breadcrumbs, served over local stracciatella, which is made from creamy mozzarella. It was warm and delicious! We also had the very best Garlic Knots that I have ever tasted to go with their homemade Meatballs dish. There are 4 meatballs that can be split with your partner. Excellent!! After that, came our main dish, the Mushroom pizza, which was made with Porcini cream, caramelized onions, garlic, whole milk mozzarella, local ricotta, Cremini mushrooms, shallots, and parsley. To die for! It was so good. We were already so full from the appetizers that we were only able to eat one slice each and take the rest home for tomorrow. The choc chip cookies were not the best. An amazing and wonderful meal. I see why this restaurant is so popular with long lines to get in. Their food and service is spot on! We will be returning soon. Parking can be found on the street. No pets. I don't think it would be comfortable for a wheelchair because of the size of the restaurant but there is outside seating in front of the restaurant that would work. Marc's Pizza is a great addition to the Normandy neighborhood!

Yelp
We arrived right as they opened so it was easy to get a table for two. My family member had a mobility scooter but the place is extremely tiny so she had to leave it outside. There are limited options but everything is fresh and delicious! Would definitely recommend giving it a try if you like a good pizza! There were a lot of people ordering for takeout which seems to be easier and faster than waiting for a table since it gets booked quickly.

Yelp
I think this goes without saying, this place is on the map! The pizza is excellent, the location is small but very cozy and clean. The service is very organized and friendly. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We had several options.
google avatar

Gina T.

Yelp
Amazing pizza, it's my type! Thin crispy under crust and thin rim crust. Crispy but not burned! The NJ traditional is my favorite, 2nd pepperoni! Place is tiny, table space tiny too! Not a place to stay long and talk. You have to put your entire order in at one time so they can serve you and get the next party in. No waiting area either no reservations either. Great beer selection too. Get ready to eat and go. It's good if you are craving delicious pizza but not a place for a a gathering or special event.
google avatar

Amanda H.

Yelp
It's all about the sauce when it comes to any Italian dish for me. So I was very pleased when this hole-in-the-wall pizzeria had some of the heartiest, balanced and flavorful homemade marinara sauce and beef/pork meatballs I've had in Miami! The Margherita pizza would have been delicious, but the oregano was way too much and it over powered all of the other flavors of the pizza. The crust was perfectly thin and crunchy, and the sauce, cheese and basil all smelled delish, but again oregano was intense. Service was good. Seating is limited. Takeout suggested unless you get lucky like we did to get one of the tables.
google avatar

Sergio F.

Yelp
Nyet slov..no words regarding me and Italian food. I'll just put extra reps tomorrow. I heard about this new Italian spot opening in North Beach, and took a lazy Saturday to go check it out. That particular lazy Saturday, I started off with the "Tomato Sicilian". Essentially bruschetta, the secret to the wonderful taste is the cool strachiatella lathering a lightly toasted bread. For the aforementioned gym reasons, I was going to avoid dessert. But the mango gelato I enjoyed was literally life or death as I previously enjoyed their spicy pepperoni pizza (large enough with leftovers). They offer it both clásico round or rectangular. I stuck to tradition and enjoyed a couple of slices with loads of pepperoni & pepperoncini. Calabrian Chili brought the heat and Florida honey balanced with sweet. The vibe was casual neighborhood restaurant, with friendly but laid back service. No dress code, I was in shorts and a polo. It's also walking distance of Normandy circle so i got to catch some of the live music and artisanry.

Yelp
Have had take out twice before and this was my first time dining in. We had the cesar salad (sorry forgot to take a pic), meatball pizza, a glass of rosé and the artisanal tiramisu gelato and everything was amazing. I had a Prosciutto pizza and meatball dish before and everything tastes so fresh. You have to stop by if in the area or take a drive to the beach to visit :)

Yelp
AMAZING delicious pizza! Loved everything we tried and we tried list of it. The only thing I could've done without was the artichoke appetizer. It was just ok. Garlic knots were best I've ever had. BUT be prepared to wait. We went on a Saturday. Arrived at 4:15 before they opened and there was a line outside. We ended waiting in our car for an hour and a half until it was finally our turn. Was it worth it? Yes sure.... Will I do it again? Nope. It's a cute spot. Place wasn't big so our party of 8 was split up otherwise I fear we may have waited longer than we already had.
google avatar

Traci M.

Yelp
Personally I thought this was was great. While we did have to get there before they opened to wait in line and then go to a nearby happy hour to wait for our table I was very happy with the mushroom pizza. I hope the place is able to keep its customer base despite all the hype and then annoyance it's got from its customers for not being able to keep up. They are small family owned, have patience the craziness will die down eventually and people can enjoy it like normal. I'd also recommend going during non typically busy hours
google avatar

Yelp
Only been once and can't wait to go back. I eat a lot of pizza and make some of the best pizza and they are doing something magical over at Marc's. Great crust, great ingredients and just great pizza.

Yelp
We wanted to try this pizza place really bad , specially because is trending now and it's on our neighborhood, we order 2 pizzas, meatballs , garlic bread and artichoke hearts. My favorite was the garlic bread , it was delish , the rest was good not what I was expecting but ok, service was wonderful by Kevin. Ambience ok too...unfortunately the place was really hot , I don't think the A/C was working properly...thankfully they seated us right next to a fan.

Yelp
Saw this place and walked in out of curiosity. It's a small little pizzeria. Aesthetically the place looks real cute and inviting. Unfortunately, when we were there, the AC was broken. They had a fan cooling the dining area. Downside, it was pointing at the tables so it ended up cooling the food... We were quickly handed menus and our order was taken. Quick breakdown of the food: Meatballs : (1 order brings 4 meatballs) Really yummy and very well seasoned. The tomato sauce is really good. Parma pizza: Average pizza. Honestly not worth the price. At $26 it felt like an average cheese pizza with prosciutto and basil tossed on it. The menu described Fior di Latte on the pizza?? Well it was not on ours. The pizza crust was flavorless and dry, almost overcooked? We got traditional. Lemon Sorbet: Delicious and very cleansing to the palate. It was a refreshing way to end the dinner. Service seemed very disorganized. We didn't get water on our table until our pizza arrived. Doesn't seem like the staff is very familiar with the menu or comfortable with customers. Half the time it felt like they were looking at us from the back but wouldn't approach the table. There's potential here, but the pizza falls short.

Yelp
I arrived hangry on a Saturday night for my second attempt at getting a pizza from Marc's Artisanal Pizzeria. The last time they ran out before i could be seated as they are walk-in only. Most people come and out there name on the list and stay in the area returning when called. This time after waiting an hour i was prepared to be disappointed or underwhelmed. After about an hour and fifteen minutes i was already mentally be prepared for the food to not be worth the wait. Boy was i wrong! I stared with the tomato Sicilian and Marc's meatballs. I instantly transported to old New York and felt like i was seated across from my consigliere saying fughetttaboutit . An Immediate explosion of flavors is the best way to describe. The perfect under crust on the Sicilian. It's solid but sufficiently soft and flakey. Followed that up with a glass of red wine (not their strong suit) and a Sicilian Margherita pizza with olives and mushrooms as well as a standard pepperoni piccante. My only regret was not getting the pepperoni as a Sicilian because there really isn't any beating that pizza. And it was just as good as leftovers the next day. Strongly recommend this place for vibes and food. Just get there early.

Yelp
Ok so usually I be dropping the reviews with a lot of swag, but I'm at the beach right now writing this and it's too hot so I'm kinda lazy. Le'me start with what I didn't like to get it out the way: we started with some house white wine, honestly if I was them I would switch to something a little better.... The only other drink we had was coca cola, I like that all their sodas are like from the authentic glass, and not the can or plastic , however I like my sodas cold, and it was a little lacking in the temperature I didn't have any appetizers but the ceaser salad looked pretty good , and the other things they offered seemed nice , we'll try them next time. On to the pizza; we shared 2 diff types, the mushroom one w the carmelized onions... and the one that had sausage and peppers. My sugar daddy loved the mushroom and I liked it... we both thought the sausage one was good , not spectacular... BUT , the dough and crust were super on point, and the crispiness , thinness and the no flop was excellent I wanna go back and keep it more traditional next time (1st time we adventured)... next time I go ima do the jersey cheese and the pepperoni, gonna keep it classic ( maybe we'll upgrade to 5 stars after that) , my friends that tried those said its up there with the best of them. The pistachio gelato was also pretty amazing, the tiramisu was a little off on flavor but still good. Toddles

Yelp
Went back and had the garlic knots and the mushroom pizza with caramelized onions. Amazing flavor. Also had a Margherita pie. All was great. Next visit going back to a jersey pie light cheese (orange pie)

Yelp
I finally got to try out the place tonight, that is in my neighborhood of Normandy. Love that more places are opening up around the northern part of Miami beach. It's quite small in the inside and has a cute ambiance. There were about 6-8 tables and then two tables on the outside. We came in a Thursday and was surprise we got a table. It helped that we were there at 5:30. It was full already inside. The staff was friendly and attentive. We had a lemonade rosado to drink. It was like a beer but taste like a spritzer. Pretty good to accompany the pizzas. For starters we had the delicious Marc's meatballs. The meatballs were seasoned well and the marinara sauce was really good, you can tell it was homemade. Next was artichoke and stracciatella. Wow this was unique and so good! The artichoke was roasted and served on top of the stracciatella. For our pizza we ordered the Margherita and pepperoni piccante. The Margherita was simply with good flavors. You could taste a hint of oregano and the crust was thin and crispy on the edges, just the way I like my pizza. The pepperoni piccante was spicy, salty, and sweet. A perfect combination. Both were delicious but my favorite was the Margherita. The pizzas are a good portion enough to serve 2-3 people. Prepare to take leftovers. Nothing like a good pizza for breakfast.
google avatar

Joanie H.

Yelp
Not only was the Pissaladiere pizza absolutely delicious, as was the artichoke appetizer, but service was really great! It may have helped by getting there early (as it really isn't very big). Everyone was very friendly and checked to make sure we were enjoying our food. This is one place that you'll want to include on your go-to list of regular spots!
google avatar

Yelp
Came to see what all the hype was about and I must say I was not let down. The apps and pizzas were delicious, the service was great with friendly staff. Definitely recommend but keep in mind it's a small place so seating is limited, there's a significant wait depending on the time of visit.

Yelp
Pizza was average and service was not great. The wife and I heard this pizza place could give Lucali a run for their money so we drove from the Grove all the way to Marc's to see what the hype was all about. The Food Meatballs - very good Sausage and Peppers pizza (round) - looked good, tasted average / not great. The flavors of the peppers just didn't go with how they make their sauce and cheese. Margherita pizza (round) - the most average margherita pizza you'll find. I usually order the Margherita pizza at artisanal style places because it is the most pure representation of the essence of what the chef intended. There's no additional toppings to change the main flavor of the pizza. In this case it was just...average. Red sauce didn't really hit. Cheese was ok. Dough was normal. It was just extremely average. The Service I'll give them some grace due to being newly opened but even basic stuff was not good. Asked for a difference of their 3 plain style pizza offerings, the server didn't know. Asked for a refresh of plates, never came. Asked for red pepper, server forgot. And, to top it off, after waiting 45 mins for pizza 1 to arrive the second one came 15 mins later. Server was extremely nice just forgetful.

Yelp
We couldn't stay away so we had to go back! We arrived around 5:30 and the wait was an hour or more (we're guessing Sunday is their busiest day). This time we went to Norman's Tavern on the beach and relaxed while we waited. The host called us and we were there within 10 minutes. We arrived to a crowd of people upset there was a long wait. This place is one of the more popular places now so of course but eeeryone cannot understand that. This time we tried Silician style pizzas - spicy pepperoni and Rossa. The service was great from the staff. Very kind and family style service. No more cookies by the time we were finished dinner but we had the tiramisu ice cream which was delicious. We will be back soon!

We were planning on trying this place for months and finally decided to go as we were craving Italian food. The place is cute with nice decor and the menu looks promising. The hostess was nice and immediately sat us down. We ordered a glass of wine and the meatballs for appetizer. As soon as we received our glasses I can tell immediately the color was off. As soon as we tried it, we can taste it was acidic. Usually that happens when wine starts to go bad or has been opened for a few days. We took it back and the girls said it was recently opened bottle. It happens. But what I didn't like was the fact she kept talking about it between themselves in front of us like if we were wrong. They gave us another sample from another bottle but it was already opened too. We immediately decided to get a difference wine but got a bottle instead was ended up being good. The meatballs were delicious tho. Full of flavor. For the main course we ordered the Parma pizza which sounded good in the menu. When we got it, the pizza was overcooked. Felt like I was eating flatbread and fully crispy like a cracker. In a pizza. Once mozzarella turn brown, that means it's burnt. Needless to say we ate it as we didn't want to be those people that return wine and then pizza. But the table next to us got the same pizza and you immediately see the difference. Their pizza was better. Slices bend when they picked it up. Ours were like toast. For almost 30 dollars there's no excuse. Which leads me to believe there's no quality control. In the end the saving grace was their lemon sorbet. That was delicious and creamy. For sure we won't be coming back. And not because of the wine or pizza. Also the service. The girls are super inexperienced and just the fact they were talking about us like if we weren't next to them listening was rude and didn't give us water until after the meatballs. We had to pour our own water too. Again... not a huge problem but these are the little things that can change your experience. But we made the effort to try this place than going to our favorite Italian place a couple of blocks away. For sure we won't be coming back. If they can improve their service and quality, then it can easily be a 5 star. It's a cute location. It'll be a shame. But it's decent and cute. This was our experience but doesn't mean you won't have a great one. Try their meatballs for sure.

Yelp
Heard such good reviews about this place and decided to try it out. I sat at the small bar very hungry and ordered a mushroom pizza. 45 minutes went by and nothing came. I asked the staff and they told me it would 9 more minutes. I walked out.

Yelp
It's good, but definitely not great. The pizza is probably in the top 10 for Miami, but wouldn't even be noticed in the northeast. Honestly, it reminds me of restaurant pizzas that you might get as a shared appetizer in upstate NY or somewhere in New Hampshire. It's fine but forgettable. No one in NY, Jersey, MA would go out of their way to eat this...unless they were in Miami and follow Dave Portnoy on instagram. The Caesar salad was fresh, but bizarrely overdressed. Basically Caesar dressing and cheese (not particularly great cheese) ladled over romaine like someone was angry at the lettuce. I'm guessing whoever did it had never had a great Caesar salad. The meatballs were clearly an afterthought when they created the menu, and I almost sent them back...but they were "fine" and the poor staff was too nice for that. Given how overwhelmed they all seemed (and I honestly don't know how/why), I ate two and called it my own mistake. To be fair, Marc's is not claiming to be anything special, so I'd say it's "as advertised." But this little pizza place needs to get their act together on the line/seating situation (complete sh*tshow at 5pm), and they won't be able to do that if the people who own it are both in the kitchen. Find someone else to work the ovens (they apparently can't figure out how to keep up with the dozen or so orders they get from the customers in the actual restaurant, let alone do takeout) and focus on that first two hours in the tiny dining room.

Yelp
Honestly I would ignore the 1 star reviews just complaining about the service. This is a very nice casual restaurant, don't know what people except.... There's barely any good food in Miami as it is , so having something like this right by my house is a treat. The pepperoni and cheese pizza is excellent, ceaser salad is so good as well, and well dressed. Not every place is perfect, but as long as the food is good quality, and clean it's fine. It's already difficult to find something that's decently priced with actual quality ingredients , not that frozen Sysco crap that all these other junk restaurants try to upsell. Go enjoy the food !!

Yelp
Look, I get it -- Marc's is hot right now. Great food, cool vibe, well-deserved praise. But let's talk about the table management, because it's a real bottleneck. I was there at 5 p.m. on a Sunday. Five tables were visibly open, but the guy at the door kept waiting to seat people -- sometimes 10 minutes between parties -- even when tables were clearly ready. It's like the system waits for a table to be fully cleared and vacuumed before even acknowledging someone's next in line. In a place this small, that kind of delay adds up fast. This isn't a complaint about the food -- it's solid. But if you're running a high-demand spot, efficiency matters. You're losing turnover and momentum with the current flow. Friendly advice: fix the front-of-house strategy and you'll go from good to great. Still rooting for you. But someone had to say it. Marc's might have buzz, but the experience? Brutal. It felt like a system designed to fail -- waiting 10 minutes between seating parties, even when tables were clearly ready. No urgency, no flow. And the service? Clueless. No updates, no sense of timing, no coordination. Everyone's friendly, but it's like no one knows what's happening. The pizza? Good. But no food is worth a 3.5-hour wait paired with chaos. You've got a great product and growing reputation -- now match that with a front-of-house system and staff that can handle the demand. Hope you get it together soon.

Yelp
Everything we ate was amazing- The garlic knots were crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Not overpowering garlic, just right. The Caesar- butter gem lettuce, tasty breadcrumbs, delicious dressing. Ask for more! The Pizza had crispy crust and great sauce. Both styles- thin crust and their thicker square slice were awesome. It's a small place and it wasn't busy but can only imagine it will be once people find out how good it is. Get at it!

Yelp
I happened to come across this place while driving down 71st St and decided to give it a try a few days later. My only regret is not having discovered them sooner! The garlic knots and the pizza was by FAR the best I've ever had. They had an amazing gelato and cookie as well. Definitely can't forget the staff either -- very kind and attentive. Will definitely be back very soon.

Yelp
When Marc's 1st opened he asked for the neighbor to support him. My family and I ordered take out 1 per week. Now that the restaurant is established Marc's decision was to stop all take out orders. You must dine in. Unfortunately the restaurants is extremely hot (high temperature) due to the ovens. Marc decided to abandon the people that made his restaurant. The good news we found another pizza place better than Marc.

Yelp
Marc's is an incredible addition to the neighborhood. The first bite of their pizza knocked my socks off. The crust is airy, well fermented, and cooked to thin + crispy perfection. They are giving the Miami pizza scene a serious run for their money. The high quality of the ingredients and care for the food is noticeable. My husband and I will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
I visited Marc's Pizza on a Friday at 4:30p.m. 8/1/25, right when they opened. Unfortunately, from the very moment I walked up, the experience started off poorly. The hostess was extremely rude and made us wait outside, letting people in one by one, even though there were empty tables inside. When we finally got in, we quickly realized the A.C. wasn't working. Considering it was nearly 100 degrees in Miami that day, I feel like the very first thing they should have done was let customers know about the situation so we could decide whether to stay. A gesture like offering a discount or at least an apology for the heat would have gone a long way. Instead, the attitude stayed cold (unlike the air inside). The service didn't improve much after that. The waiter was difficult to understand. As for the food: * Garlic rolls - Delicious, easily the best part of the meal. * Meatballs - Pretty standard, nothing special. * Pizza - The big "hype" item was disappointing; it came out burnt and was far from memorable. To top it off, I repeatedly saw the hostess telling customers to leave the building while they waited outside, often with the same rude tone we experienced. Between the sweltering heat, the unwelcoming service, and the unimpressive food, this visit was a letdown. Overall: Not worth the hype. I would have appreciated honesty about the A.C. from the start and a friendlier approach to customer service.

Yelp
Walked into Marc's recently out of curiosity and ended up buying a couple chocolate chip cookies, which ended up being one of the best I've had in recent memory (and I take my cc cookies very seriously). It's crispy, chewy, and has a mixture of dark & milk chocolate. I'd say it's worth going for the cookie alone. The owner was extremely nice and welcoming, and encouraged us to come back for the pizza. Today I ordered a couple pies and an order of garlic knots for pickup. We had the Margherita and Rossa, both in traditional round format, along with an order of garlic knots. Both pizzas were absolutely phenomenal, easily some of the best pizza I have had in south florida. Crunchy crust, delicious sauces, and fresh local ingredients. The garlic knots were extremely decadent and heavy in butter, but very well made. Crispy on the outside and chewy inside, with a tangy marinara to dip. A delicious bite overall, I'd order them again! All in all, as a North Beach local, I can't recommend Marc's enough. A welcome addition to the neighborhood!

Yelp
The problem is you can't get a table and they don't deliver. It looks like a great place but their customer service could be better!!helping people get a table

Yelp
So disappointed! We have been waiting for weeks to eat here. Rushed to get there at 10PM only to be told by the staff that the place was closed and to come back tomorrow. Hours online say that they are open until 10:30PM.

Yelp
This place is a gem , what can I say starting from the garlic knots are a must try , the meatballs exquisite. Cesar salad they bring you plenty that four people ate from one We order two pizzas and one was the margarita pizza and the other was Jersey cheese both traditional . Incredible amazing . The service is unique always attentive, the ambiance small and very cute decorated very quaint. And last but not least the chocolate chip cookie melts in your mouth. Is small place but is a must visit. . I give it a 10+ . Go you would not regret . I will return .

Yelp
Just left the place and absolutely loved it, the meat balls are a must and make sure you keep the sauce to dip the amazing pizza crust ! We had the La Rosa and it was incredible, make sure you come with time to kill since there will be a little wait time since it's a hot spot in Miami. Thank you Khali for the amazing service

Yelp
Went Friday 8/1/25 food was good garlic rolls were excellent. Ordered plain pizza it was good not great. The host was a little rude and getting mad at people for opening restaurant door to see host rather than wait outside for her to come out. Maybe they should put a sign outside if they don't want anyone to open door to see a host. Once inside realized the AC was broken, they did not mention this before sitting, would've been common courtesy for them to mention this before hand. The food was slightly above average but not worth being treated rudely and having to sit in a very hot small space.

Yelp
We loved our meal at Marc's. As people who have tried many of the south Florida pizza spots, we think this pizza can compete with many of the famous spots. I am still thinking about how perfect the dough was, actually. In addition to the Rossa pizza, we ordered the Caesar salad, the garlic knots, and the pepperoni piccante Sicilian style. All were good! But truly, we both were mainly impressed with both pizzas. I think the worst part of the meal was the couple next to us, who I can now see have reviewed Marc's too (Michael S. Review). The entire meal they were loud (arguing and the man being rude to his wife), rude, and seemed to just want to take issue with the meal. I wouldn't pay that review much attention. However, the server we had was kind, but could use some education on the menu (did not know what prosciutto is). Overall, can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Placed my name on the waiting list at 5 pm they hostess explained it would be an hour and forty-five minute wait. Time passed and I called and they explained I had another 20-30 min.... We waited for more than 3.5 hours and never got a call back saying our table was ready. I understand the place is small but to never receive a call back and there was not many parties ahead of me. Would not make the drive again took me almost an hour to not even eat there.. will not go back unless they implement reservations.. unacceptable service.

Yelp
Wow. I can't even express how horrible this experience was. I am four months pregnant at the moment- all I wanted was pizza. I saw amazing things about this spot and decided to check it out. It is 90 degrees out today, when I arrived despite the fact there are 5 tables open, I was told to wait outside for 10 minutes in the heat. So that "the pizza can come out smoothly" let me start by saying, if this is an issue, you can have the customers simply sit at a table and make them wait the ten minutes to order. Having them sit outside in miamis heat is fucking inhumane. The host was aggressive and did not care that her managers rules are an actual health hazard in this type of heat. Once I sat down, you'd think the tempature would be better but no- it's hot and humid and impossible to enjoy a meal especially after baking in the sun for a table when they have multiple open. I can not express enough how horrible this setup is, how unprofessional it looks to customers, and a disgrace it is in the restaurant industry. If I could rate it -10 stars I would. Horrible dining experience from a restaurant that does not care about its customer's comfort. Mind you- this is my first review ever. it was so awful it took my yelp vcard.

Yelp
best pizza and Caesar salad in Miami! Cookies are excellent. Small inside- could use a bigger location

Marissa F.

Yelp
The pizza quality is just not there. The service is poor. The ambiance could be improved as the space is too small to handle volume. I would not recommend.

Yelp
Table managment is terrible. Waiting for hours and tables are visibly open. At the end of the day yes the pizza is good, but the wait is incredibly long and the place isnt full its the guy running it that sucks. For this fact alone it makes me not want to come back.

Oví O.

Yelp
The best pizza in Miami, hands-down. The Bianca goes crazy. I've tried them all, and you can't miss with any of them.

Mariana V.

Yelp
The pizza here is incredible! I tried the Sicilian pizza and it was outstanding -- perfectly crispy, flavorful, and fresh. The owner is also so nice and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
service is very slow at the actual place, and even called today for takeout, at 9pm on a Saturday night they said they ran out of pizza, lol
