Iconic restaurant, bar & banquet hall with scenic views serving upscale Italian & American meals.
"If you’re voting in Great Kills, head over to Marina Cafe afterwards for lunch or dinner on the water. The views here are the best part of the experience, but you probably won’t mind a dozen oysters and a glass of wine to celebrate not having to worry about the logistics of voting on general election day." - hannah albertine, nikko duren
"If you’re looking for lunch or dinner with a view of the water, check out Marina Cafe’s deck next to Great Kills Harbor. The outdoor tables here are mostly shaded by umbrellas, and you can eat things like shrimp cocktail and crispy fish tacos while you decide which yachts look sleekest. Call 718-967-3077 for a reservation ahead of time." - Hannah Albertine
"Marina Cafe has been serving Staten Island harbor side for over 35 years. With glistening chandeliers and full glass windows offering an unobstructed view of the Great Kills Harbor, it offers a more formal dining experience. Ocean fare like oysters on the half shell and seafood risotto are the primary draw, while an Italian influence is seen in appetizers like arancini (rice balls), homemade mozzarella, and chicken breast stuffed with prosciutto and ricotta. During the summer, the outside dock turns into a tiki bar that could be plucked right from an oceanside beach town. Flavored sangrias, fried calamari, and up-close views of the boats rolling into harbor draw large crowds." - Claire Elisabeth
