Laid-back old-pub setting with stripped floors and mismatched furniture for Italian comfort food.
"You’d imagine Broadway Market would be one of the easiest places to find a coffee shop to work from. Oddly though, it isn’t. That’s why Market Cafe always feels like such a find. It’s got a solid brunch and lunch menu, and this spot is spacious and friendly, with a laid-back atmosphere, a good spread of plug sockets, good wifi, and—if you pick the right spot—excellent views of the canal." - jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager, sinead cranna

"Zakuski, the catering company with a stall at Broadway market, is named after Russian appetisers. The word itself roughly translates to “things you bite into” (in practice, often after a vodka shot). Zakuski’s stall serves a rotating selection of colourful and predominantly vegetarian salads and mezzes. Try the “Korean carrot” — a tangy marinated dish invented by ethnic Koreans living in the USSR, who, lacking access to the proper ingredients for making kimchi, created an alternative that became wildly popular throughout the Soviet Union." - Daria Kyrilova
