The Best Lebanese Restaurants In London

"We like Maroush for a solo, lunchtime halloumi wrap and for family gatherings that don’t require an emergency overdraft extension. You could pop into McDonald’s, grab a takeaway from KFC, or sink into the seats at Nando’s on Earls Court Road, but Maroush is a better laid-back option—with excellent Lebanese food, an attractive dining room, and superior dips for your chips. Settle into the comfy, red leather booths for delicious, well-stuffed arayes, fresh, herby salad, whipped creamy hummus, and soft grilled meats. " - rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, jake missing

Maroush Earls Court - Review - Earl's Court - London - The Infatuation

"You could pop into McDonald’s, grab a takeaway from KFC, or slip into the seats at Nando’s on the Earls Court Road. But Maroush has the same laid-back mood with better food, a comfier dining room, and superior dips for your chips. The big windows all but cancel out the thrum of constant traffic outside, so you can switch off, sink a little deeper into the comfy red leather booths, and be content in your own world of refreshing salads, well-stuffed arayes, whipped, creamy hummus, and soft grilled meats. Even though the setup is casual, the food is very good. We like this Lebanese spot for a solo, lunchtime halloumi wrap and for family gatherings that don’t require an emergency overdraft extension. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch" - Sinéad Cranna

5 Of The Best Lebanese Bakeries In West London

"A classic with spots across central and west London, Maroush Bakehouse makes all the Lebanese classics. And it makes them pretty well. Pricier than the other spots on this list, a portion of lahm b’agine is £6.50, but it’s a good spot to sate your pastry craving when you’re in the area. Think arayes (crispy flatbread stuffed with minced lamb and Lebanese spices), sambousek cheese (deep fried pastries filled with feta cheese and thyme), and mana’eesh zaatar." - rianne shlebak

My first experience of Lebanese food and hospitality and it was fantastic. Knowing I’d not had this cuisine before my lovely host Mohammed recommended a mixed lunch platter, even though it was evening, so that I could get a feel for the different flavours and textures. It was a great shout. Unfortunately this might be the first meal I’ve eaten and not wiped the plate clean. But it was only because I was too full. Would highly recommend and when my travels bring me to Earl’s Court again I’ll certainly be back. Quite possibly for breakfast in the morning…

Lovely staff. Laid back setting. (One star off atmosphere only because I was seated right next to the restroom. But they did make sure the door was always shut.) lentil soup was wonderful as was the hummus with shawarma chicken. Well priced. I’d definitely return.

Mohammed was very attentive and fast! The food was absolutely delicious and you can taste the high quality of the ingredients, especially the olive oil. There was also an abundance of actually filling and tasty vegan and vegetarian options.

Had a lovely Middle Eastern meal with the family. All the food was freshly and perfectly seasoned. Great flavours and atmosphere with good music. Highly recommend the rice pudding, which was served by the excellent Arif. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Wow! Where to start!!! Mohammed and his team served up an absolute delight with their set meal for 2… it did not disappoint! We couldn’t finish it all but the highlights were… the Lebanese sausages (Soujok) & the baba ghanouj.
