"We always used to beg our mom for fast food breakfast sandwiches on our way to morning Little League practice. Martha On The Fly makes those, but fancier and tastier. Their square egg patties are the base for sandwiches named after women we’d find in nana’s pickleball league—like the Betty, loaded with bacon and cheese on a scotch roll, or the Shirley with baloney and tomato jam. Whatever sandwich you get, grab a side of cornmeal fries with yellow “sunshine sauce,” a combo of hollandaise and miso mayo. This place is basically a small food counter though, so pick up an order and go eat in Lincoln Park close by." - kate bigam kaput

"What started out as a pandemic-era pop-up has evolved into one of Cleveland’s most unique and delicious breakfast concepts. Chef Ryan Beck converted what had long been a carryout-only storefront in Tremont into a micro-diner complete with chrome, mirror, neon, and a few counter seats. The core of Martha’s menu is devoted to breakfast sandwiches starring custardy patties of steamed egg, which get paired with items like zesty sausage or thick-cut baloney and tucked into airy house-baked buns. Sides like cornmeal fries, potato crispies, and seasonal fruit hand pies keep folks coming back again and again." - Douglas Trattner

This is the place for delicious made from scratch breakfast sandwiches. Organic and hand made and so good. I had the Shirley with homemade baloney and special sauce with a custard egg yummy! You have to try the cornmeal fries with sunshine sauce.. so unique! Inspired by Grandma’s cooking. Great service from Justin and Megan. A Cleveland Hidden Gem!

Google
The cutest spot! We drove 30min to try their food for the first time and we will be doing it again. First of all it’s in Tremont so the location is a vibe. When you walk in the you feel like you’re literally in the 50’s. Even their orange juice and milk cartons look like they are from the 50’s. The small details really make everything perfect. The girl who took our order was super sweet/friendly too! Now their food….i knew it was going to be good based on their Instagram but it was way better than we could have ever expected. Honestly the best sandwich I’ve ever had. We ordered the garlic steak hoagie, 2 Agnes sandwiches and an order of mini cake donuts! We will be back very soon!

I can’t recommend this place enough! We stopped by for a casual brunch and were completely blown away. The breakfast sandwich was absolute perfection—fluffy eggs, melty cheddar, and a soft, golden bun that held it all together like a warm hug. Every bite was comforting and flavorful. The outdoor seating is adorable, with bright teal tables and a cozy, relaxed vibe that makes you want to hang out all morning. The staff were friendly, and everything was clearly made with care. Plus, the little branded touches (like the “Martha” wrappers) add charm without feeling overdone. If you’re looking for a delicious, no-fuss breakfast in a welcoming spot, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
This place is wonderful. The case at the register has cartons of milk and juice that zaps you back to elementary school and pure happiness, the pies looked delicious (I’m not even a pie gal) and the mini counter/diner vibes were the cutest. Friendly staff greeted us and handed us a menu; we decided what to get standing at the window. They got our name and number to text when our order is ready and we waited outside at the little table for photo ops with our Guardian Cold Brew. Short while later we grabbed our sandwiches and headed for home. We absolutely devoured, and can’t wait to be back.

Google
We love this little pop in, grab your food and go breakfast spot. You know a sandwich is only as good as its bread and the buns are SO SOFT! Absolutely delicious. Homemade pie by the slice and always a fun and interesting special, all at a reasonable price. We live an hour from Cleveland but will drive up just to get breakfast at Martha in the Fly.

Google
Unquestionably in the top 1% of breakfast sandwiches in the world. All their sandwiches are fresh, cheesy, and HUGE! Can’t ask for more. If you’re visiting Cleveland and this is not on your itinerary, you need to move things around to stop by. If you live here…well I’m sure it’s already in your breakfast joint rotation! Place is small, I recommend ordering online for pick up and finding a table outside

Google
The food here is amazing. There was a burrito on special, got the polenta fries, and a potato crispy with a cup of gravy--all killer. The space is adorable and our server was super charming and helpful. Be aware there's only two small bars with a total of like 4-5 seats, so either gotta get takeout or plan on going when they're slow. Can't wait to visit again next time we're in town!

Google
We had delightful lunch al fresco. It is primarily breakfast sandwiches, but there were a couple of hoagie sandwiches on the menu and we had one of each. The sandwiches were hearty and packed with flavor. The Potato Crispie was a nice side to share. We could smell bread baking while we waited. It is mostly take out with very limited seating, but a truly delightful experience none the less

Yelp
Wow, I'm so excited we tried Martha's!! My husband and I were staying at an AirBnb nearby and decided to walk down to Martha's for some breakfast. What a great decision! The inside is really small, but don't let that dissuade you. The counter is manned by a staff of some of the most friendly people I've ever met! The menu consists of a set of absolutely delicious breakfast sandwiches, complemented by hand brown disks and other small bites. We ordered the "Doris" (pork smash party with egg and cheese) and the "Agnes" (shaved steak with egg and cheese). I opted to add the caramelized onions and avocado to my Agnes and it was insanely good! The inside of the tiny restaurant does have a counter to eat at and is impeccably clean and well kept and very cute. I highly recommend stopping by! Pro tip: ADD the caramelized onions, you won't regret it!

Allegra S.

Yelp
It's so busy and so good! Try the salmon tartar with caramelized onions and sunshine sauce on a crispy!

Yelp
Here on a musical RoadTrip. We stayed in Tremont which is a fabulous neighborhood with great options for food. We found Martha via internet search and we definitely scored. The eggs are made in such a way it's like biting into a custard cake with out all that sugary dessert taste. It's real egg flavor. The buns are soft and tasty. One of the best breakfast sandwiches ever. Location is small no indoor seating. A few chairs outside. Worst part is the local bees that will buzz you and your food. But they don't hurt so bee kind.

Yelp
I finally had the chance to visit this breakfast spot, and I'm so glad I don't live nearby--otherwise, I'd be there almost every morning! I tried the Shirley breakfast sandwich, which was massive. I managed to eat half for breakfast and saved the rest for lunch. The tomato jam was a highlight, so I'm glad I ordered an extra side. I also tried the potato dish with toppings, which didn't quite impress me, but the savory turnover recommended by the cashier Megan was fantastic. It featured a croissant-like dough filled with a delicious mix of cheese, bacon, and eggs. The coffee was standard, with only cream and sugar available. The place itself is charmingly small, with only three seats inside and a couple of tables outside, giving it a cozy, intimate feel.

Yelp
Martha on the Fly was fantastic for a quick stop to eat brunch. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious, especially the bun. The service was also super quick since we had a large group, and everyone was very friendly and helpful as it was our first time. Definitely would recommend making the trip - perfect for a quick pick up. The coldbrew also was fantastic!

Jessica S.

Yelp
My husband and I came on a Saturday at around 11 and no line. We were even able to snag two seats at the counter to enjoy our sandwiches. We both got the Betty, but he added avocado. Staff were all very friendly. Our sandwiches came out quickly but were fresh. The sandwich was soooo good though. Loads of bacon, delicious sauce, American cheese with is nostalgic, soft buttery bun. It kept me full for 6 hours lol. Definitely recommend if you want an epic breakfast sandwich.

Christina P.

Yelp
I was out doing errands and purposely left home hungry in order to try out a breakfast place and I ended up here - excited to finally stop by when they're open. The interior is small with seating at the bar for about 3 people. This is a stop and go type of place. I got retro-vibes, helped by the tiny tv in the upper corner that was playing. I got thr Betty and it was delicious, simple but hearty and hit the spot. I also got the cornmeal fries because I was very curious and they were tasty. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

Yelp
Love this cute little space and the indulgent breakfast fare that they offer! Inside has four bar-counter style seats and outdoors there are a couple of small tables (and some larger picnic bench style seating on the nearby street corner). Most folks simply took their meals to-go, but we sat inside to experience the hustle-n-bustle vibe of the place. Given it was our first time here, we went a bit overboard with the food ordering...next time we may just get a singular sandwich and a potato side and split them both as the portions are gigantic and filling. For this maiden voyage, we ordered two breakfast sandwiches (the Betty and the Pearl) along with a potato crispie, a cinnamon roll and two regular drip coffees. All items are made-to-order, so there was a bit of a wait for the food to be ready. Coffees were poured and delivered, then all the food items arrived at once. We rolled up our sleeves and dug in! The potato crispie was like a giant hash brown patty served with their signature sunshine sauce (like a mild hollandaise)...would have preferred a bit more seasoning on the patty. The Betty breakfast sandwich was served on a bun with thick-cut bacon, a fried egg, melted American cheese and sunshine sauce. It was gooey, messy and delicious! The Pearl sandwich was even better, served with a mushroom "sausage" patty, egg patty and avocado spread. Between the mushrooms and the avocado it had a wonderfully creamy texture and flavor. Their cinnamon roll had a unique icing flavored with orange and vanilla, but was served cold (definitely needs to be warmed up). If you are near downtown and in need of a filling meal in a seriously chill vibe (either to eat in or takeaway) then this is the spot for you. So glad we finally made it here...it will not be our last visit!!!

Yelp
We ordered delivery on a Sunday morning. Wow. Wow. I had the Doris, which is basically a breakfast sandwich the size of a burger. Spectacular! The corn meal fries are one of the best things I've ever eaten. Recommend with maple syrup. We also had donuts & cinnamon rolls. Fresh, rich & gooey. We are really just beside ourselves within how good everything was. We'll definitely order again.

Sneha P.

Yelp
I have no pictures to share but the cornmeal fries were so good with their signature aoli! My husband got the crispy lox sandwich with a fried egg, avocado, and grilled onions and that sandwich was so flavorful! It's basically a sandwich with hash instead of bread. I highly recommend this place for take out. Dine-in bar seating is available for 3-4 patrons at a time and waiting area will fit a few people. The cashier was very pleasant and kind!

Amy J.

Yelp
Expensive but delicious food mostly sold to go from a tiny old school diner. They have excellent environmentally friendly packaging. The cornmeal fries were ungodly good. Perfectly seasoned and not bland with an ideal fried outer crisp and inner softness! The cinnamon roll was odd. Not my thing. It was so chewy it was gummy like and had to be cut w a knife. It had hints of orange flavor. The icing was cream cheese flavor and just kinda wasn't my jam. The Pearl sandwich had a fat square egg patty, plenty of avocado, a mushroom patty, and cheese in addition to a strange citrus sort of tart sauce somewhere I could not identify. It was maybe the sunshine sauce? It was unusual and I did not want the citrus sort of bittersweet zing in the sandwich that was otherwise good. Shoulda just put mayo on there in my opinion. Not bad despite the weird flavor or sauce though the only thing I'd buy again here is an order of the delicious cornmeal fries!

Yelp
Loved Martha on the Fly for a quick easy sandwich for brunch. We got the order to go and they were ready within 15 minutes. Overall, the quality and flavor was incredible and it's truly an amazing staple to have on hand whenever you want a breakfast sandwich that hits the spot every time.

Yelp
~ gluten-free review ~ I've been recommended to come to Marta on the fly by a friend for weeks, and I had just been putting it off but safe to say, I regret that decision! The food here was absolutely life altering it. I saw Jesus moment, and this staff was so incredible! My only recommendation is get there early because it gets super busy. The food was really good and the hashbrowns are super crispy. You can add anything on top of them for gluten-free option although everyone else loves the breakfast sandwiches. Next time I come, I will be trying they're cold brew coffee because they make it with a dairy, free homemade creamer and safe to say that's up next on the list.

Yelp
If I Iived in this neighborhood, I'd give this place five stars. But I don't, so like most of us I have to hope there is seating bc this is food best eaten ASAP. Also, if I lived nearby I wouldn't be so sad about their empty bakery case bc I could just pop by later. I get it, this is a SMALL business, but I wanted pie! If you like your dining partner, I'd suggest getting one sandwich and one side and sharing. (Do they have knives? IDK) However, then you'd have to decide what to get! My friend and I did share, so I can say that both styles of eggs are delicious. And I liked the sausage AND the bacon. I dont think either of our sandwiches were made better by cheese. Next time I will order without cheese. I'd rather soak up the dipping sauce. I'm an odd duck in that I dont like a lot of sauces that include mustard or mayonnaise, but I love most hollandaise. The sunshine sauce here is amazing. You will have too much in the generous little cups. You will think about taking it home. If it's warm enough to eat outdoors, you probably shouldn't carry hollandaise in your bag for a half day. The potato crispy was pretty standard, but the cornmeal fries were amazing. Get those.

Emily S.

Yelp
I love this place for breakfast. Had to try the lobster roll special (you have to pre-order) sooo good.

Vanity H.

Yelp
What a great and filling breakfast sandwich! My boyfriend and I actually split it and I was full from half. It came with their signature egg, bacon, cheese, & sauce. So yummy! The place itself is VERY small. They have 4-5 bar stools in there but it can get quite claustrophobic honestly. Highly recommend ordering to go! The ladies in there were nice. It took about 10 minutes to be served and they call out your name. I LOVED the old school diner look of it all - especially the tiny tv playing Recess. Bunch of different nicknacks in there to check out.

Lauren K.

Yelp
Martha on the Fly was everything I hoped for! We were on-the-go and needed a quick bite and with one hour until close we placed an order online. It was ready like clockwork and we appreciated the status updates via text. I'm always a fan of anywhere you can order ahead. Admittedly, I drove by it the first time. It's a bit on the corner so don't overthink it! It's all street parking so be prepared to parallel park. The inside is very small. This isn't a place to go and sit down, so plan accordingly. I *think* in the warmer seasons they may offer some outdoor, seasonal-based seating in the form of bistro tables. I ordered the Betty sandwich with fried egg. When I think about it, it was probably the most unique tasting breakfast sandwich I've ever had in CLE. The sandwich had a sweeter taste to it that complemented well with the smokiness of the bacon. It was truly everything I hoped it would be, and I loved the signature dipping sauce, which had a bit of lemon (?) taste to it. We can't wait to come back! It's always so fun when a place tastes as delicious as their photos look.

Michelle J.

Yelp
Let's start by talking about how nice it is to have your carry out order packaged so nicely, organized and just together. Hey..first impressions are everything. I had a large order so was able to try several items. Betty: The sandwich with bacon was probably my favorite. The sauce is nothing spectacular but I can see how it compliments the sandwich. Honestly, their sandwiches can stand alone and I'm glad I ordered the sauce on the side. Doris: This was my sandwich and the sausage is ground in house. Being a sausage lover, it was pretty decent but I enjoyed the bacon sandwich better. I had a fried egg but I think I prefer their signature egg patty which sounded a bit weird initially. I dipped my sandwich in the sauce and felt the sauce wasn't worth the extra calories in my opinion. I noticed that they do a nice job of not drenching the sandwiches in sauce which is a plus. Pearl: My 9 year old is vegetarian so she had the mushroom "sausage." I thought it was absolutely delicious. I think she was on the fence and scraped off the avocado (mom fail for not realizing it came with avocado). Potatoe Crispie: Next to the Betty, this was my favorite item. Absolutely delicious. Of course, I ordered the sauce on the side which it doesn't need. It was very good. Service: attentive and food was done at the exact time stated when I ordered online Cinnamon roll: Icing had a hint of vanilla, I liked it. Tip: Order online, they were busy on a Saturday morning. Con: One of the buns was slightly burned and my sis in law was not happy about it. I hope they make sure all of the bread is cooked perfectly without being too crisp, I think that ruined it for her. I wish they offered over easy or over medium eggs, that would be nice. For the size of the sandwich, the value is there. If you've ever waited in Egg Slut line in Vegas, this is exactly that without the monstrous line. You won't be disappointed.

Michele B.

Yelp
Friends, there is a reason Martha has 5 stars. That should be enough if a review for ya. I love breakfast. And sandwiches. After an event in Ohio City, I talked my husband into breakfast at Martha. First off, they were so nice. I also couldn't believe all the exquisite specials! Their normal menu is simple, but still lots to offer. We both went with a classic sandwich and we're not disappointed! Husband has quite an appetite and often at places like this, portions aren't enough for him. Not the case here! Nice big sandwiches with fluffy egg, delicious bun... and sunshine sauce? It's what dreams are made of. Plenty of thick bacon too! I also tried a potato crispy. I liked the crunch, but something about the sauces or apple or something wasn't for me. Will def try a different flavor next time. We enjoyed our Sammie's at a little table outside. What a great experience. Highly tecommend

Jason B.

Yelp
Great little breakfast place. Their breakfast sandwiches are HUGE and delicious. I am not a huge fan of their special sauce but many really like it (just a personal taste thing for me so I would try it yourself). Their cornmeal fries are unique and tasty. It's a 30 min round trip drive for me and I make it willingly for a great breakfast. One thing to note, this place is small so should plan on taking it to go.

Dara C.

Yelp
Friendly neighborhood, darling cafe, excellent service. We had no trouble finding a place to park on the street. We were greeted at the door and upon learning it was our first time and that we were from out of town the cashier went over the menu with us. We snagged a little table outside and enjoyed our delicious egg sandwiches along with fried potato hash browns.

Ailin J.

Yelp
It's nice to have a breakfast spot in Tremont that's open earlier in the day, a lot of other places may not open until 11AM on weekends. I love getting to support local and family owned businesses. The sandwiches are extremely filling. I do think they are slightly expensive but it's definitely enough food. Cornmeal fries were interesting, fun to try, but I still prefer regular fries. The sauces they offer are amazing!!!

Helen S.

Yelp
A slice of diner heaven in Tremont. I never had the chance to check out Martha when they were doing their pop-ups, but no doubt their success is reflected in their ability to get a much coveted retail space in the heart of Tremont. Being Tremont, street parking is the name of the game and can be hit or miss. The storefront is pretty small and easy to miss as well - unless you look for the gaggle of people next to two tiny cyan sidewalk tables waiting outside for their food. If you spot an open seat at the larger picnic tables at the intersection of W 10th and Professor/Fairfield Ave, try to snag it early for when your food is ready. On a Sunday morning about an hour after opening, there was already one party at each of the sidewalk tables and several people waiting for their order. Inside, there's counter seating for four and barely enough room for 2 other people in front of the counter - hence why you'll be asked to wait outside for your food. COVID awareness, thank you! Everything is shiny and new, but with a strong retro vibe. Staff are very friendly and chill. One of them even chased me down the sidewalk as I was wandering and waiting to give me my Horchatte! Everyone is showing off plants these days, and you'll find a Conga line of mini plants lining the high windowsill. There are no menus posted on the wall, but you can find the full menu online (including the daily Fly By) or on a printed menu on the counter. If you don't know what you want yet, give the cashier your name and phone number to get the process rolling for text notifications. The food came more quickly than I expected, and best experienced hot. The Fly By Mortadella Pesto was so tender and juicy, and I'm not sure the bun would have survived the drive home. But what a delicious combo! The Lox Potato Crispy was also a unique spin on classic breakfast items and supremely tasty. Overall the food is on the heavier side and I'd recommend splitting a Crispy if you're planning on getting a sandwich as well since the portions are bigger than than the tiny menu and inside would suggest! You won't find a public restroom here, but there are multiple trashcans located at the intersection to toss your trash once you've licked the wrappers clean. Can't wait to return and try more of their revamped breakfast creations!

Dani C.

Yelp
Huge, delicious portions! Cute place and friendly service! Will visit again when in Cleveland.

Brian H.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite breakfast spots in the city. Every sandwich is amazing, but I'm partial to the Doris (add avocado) and the Shirley (with extra tomato jam). So good! I've been to a lot of spots that say they have the best breakfast sandwiches, but Martha really delivers. Their seasonal pie slices are also to die for! I've had the peanut butter and jelly one as well as the strawberry pie they did last week. Everything is good here, seriously. Check this spot out if you're ever in Tremont or just looking for a pot with awesome sandwiches. You will not be disappointed.

Olivia S.

Yelp
Awesome! Love this place. A must try when in Cleveland. We loved the breakfast sandwiches, cinnamon roll and donuts. Best of all was the service and cute diner.

Michael R.

Yelp
Martha's on the fly is a small little spot in Tremont. I ordered the Shirley and I haven't stopped thinking about it since. I don't often order breakfast sandwiches but this is my new number 1. I loved the bread it came on and the tomato jam was delicious. There is very limited seating in the restaurant but we walked to a near by park to take in the views and chow down. They text you when your food is ready which is very helpful. Overall loved the food we got here and sadly I'm not local otherwise I would be back for sure!

Anthony S.

Yelp
Both times I have gone they have been closed without notice. Nothing worse than a business who makes their hours day by day with no proper communication. As an update, I tried to give them a THIRD try on 10/27, and they were out of their signature egg patty. How can you be out of your main item?

Kelli H.

Yelp
Wowowowowowowow. I didn't take picture because instead I just wolfed down the delicious food I ordered. My husband and I have been wanting to try Martha on the Fly for a while but have been deterred by how often we see lines out the door. Enter: the primary tip - which is to order online and pick up! We were lucky when we came in that we also were able to find seats at the counter to eat instead of taking our food to go. But honestly no matter how you get your hands on the food, get it! We got the special which was a gyro sandwich and it was outstanding. The meat was cooked perfectly, the pita was warm and doughy, the sauce and cucumbers on top were tangy and they also put a hard to describe cold crispy potato/hash brown thing on top which amped up the saltiness of the whole thing. By far the best gyro I've had in years. We also got the kale salad which was perfectly dressed and had a nice hunk of creamy avocado in it. My husband said he almost liked the salad as much as the gyro and I whole heartedly agree.

Arik T.

Yelp
The best breakfast sandwiches in all of Cleveland! I recommend this place to everyone I talk to about food. The inside is nice and retro, the workers are kind and attentive, and the food always comes out perfect.

Annie G.

Yelp
Martha on the fly is a great spot for a quick but delicious breakfast sandwich. The menu is simple, in a good way, easy to decide on a sandwich, maybe a side and go on with your day. The quality is fantastic, whatever sauce they're using is amazing, truly what keeps you coming back. The egg patty is genius bc it stays together vs a sandwich w fried egg. The potato crispies are too good, somewhat addicting. Ordering online is easy and quick and the staff is friendly. Cute spot too, somewhat of a retro vibe.

Kelly R.

Yelp
Yessssss! I finally made it to Martha in the Fly, and I was not disappointed! I placed my order online, which was easy and convenient. I ordered the Pearl breakfast sandwich with cornmeal fries. The sandwich was huge....homemade bun, with a fluffy egg square, mushroom sausage patty, melted cheese, and avocado spread, this was a great combination of taste and texture. The cormesl fries were fresh, hot and well seasoned. I absolutely love the concept, and the staff was super welcoming. I'll be back!

Marie S.

Yelp
Martha On The Fly is a literal hole in the wall - it's a tiny little diner on a quaint and quiet street in the historic Tremont neighborhood. My friend texted me and another friend on a whim on a Sunday morning to try it out and I'm glad we went out. Martha On The Fly is not a traditional diner, they're a "micro-diner" so there's not really seating inside. We were there pretty early so luckily we were able to get one of several little tables outside - there are also a couple of benches, but be aware that if you come a little later it will probably have to be a grab and go situation. Their menu is small but well curated. We all opted to get sandwiches and cornmeal fries because that's what Martha On The Fly is most known for, but were also advised that their potato crispies are also popular. I got the Doris and both of my friends got the Betty (unfortunately the day we went, they didn't have any special sandwiches). For their sandwiches, you have the option of getting a jammy fried egg or an egg patty. I would highly recommend the egg patty - it's a super fluffy, almost custardy consistency. I didn't think you could make an egg patty super unique but Martha On The Fly did it. The Doris was a very large sandwich and the Betty was slightly smaller, and both were incredibly filling (I couldn't even finish mine). The cornmeal fries were also a surprise. There were only 5 in an order but I thought that was enough to share between 3 people when we also had very large breakfast sandwiches to tackle. It is garnished with herbs and comes with a mayo dipping sauce. I haven't ever had something like this and I thought it was a much better side for our sandwiches than any kind of potato would have been. Overall, great experience! It's not the kind of breakfast I would want every morning because of how filling and greasy it is, but when you're craving a classic breakfast sandwich, this is the spot.

Sheena W.

Yelp
Currently Martha On The Fly is operating out of the Good Company space, but they have been doing so well that they are looking at getting their own brick and mortar spot. They serve up breakfast fare like sandwiches named after their grandmothers, cornmeal fries, cinnamon rolls, and even a slice of pie. I personally really enjoy the Shirley $14 made with baloney. It was just unique and full of flavor. The cornmeal fries $6 with dipping sauce were a winner as well. I suggest placing your order online ahead of time as they do sell out. Also check their social media pages for any specials they may have. (For example they had a chicken salad sandwich; I thought this was a bit too salty for me, but I did get a little inside scoop on their next special and it sounds FREAKING AMAZING!) You take your food to-go but there are picnic tables at Good Company so you can sit and eat your food then stroll on over to Edgewater Park to round out a lovely morning/afternoon if you are so inclined. Also, I'd like to give a shout out to LT the front of the house guy, manager dude, whatever he is. He was so personable and checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our food and talked with us about the menu. I was thrilled to find out that his lady love is also named Sheena! Whoop whoop! I'd like to suggest an egg salad sandwich with bacon on it though. That just sounds amazing. Mmm Give Martha a try!

Yelp
If you're looking for a unique Cleveland experience and want to eat delicious food - Martha on the Fly is the place for you! Wow! The food is delicious!! We had the Doris, Betty, Potato Crispies, the cornmeal fries, and the cinnamon roll (had to try one of everything!) and there wasn't anything we didn't love! The staff is also incredible. One of the employees was standing outside greeting people and told us all about the shop and how it works, how it came to be, what his favorites are and even recommended WHERE to take our food to enjoy it. Once inside, we ordered, paid, and then had the opportunity to chat with another employee - Joe - who told us even more about the shop. He was so welcoming and made us feel like friends within that 5 minute conversation. Bottom line - you have to try it!

Yelp
The food was amazing and so was the owner! This cute little shop is ran very efficiently with great service. My boyfriend and I got the betty and the doris. Both were amazing so we shared. The potato crispies and the sauce are to die for so make sure you get a side of those. The mini cake donuts is the perfect snack to munch on afterwards to help with your sweet tooth! This will be a a biweekly visit.

Yelp
wonderful little breakfast spot in tremont! This place is small, but serves delicious food! More of a grab and go spot although there are a few bar stools at the counter. A simple but flavor packed menu of breakfast sandwiches. I got an egg, cheese, and avocado sandwich. In any of the egg sandwiches they give the option of their egg patty or a fried egg. I opted for the fried egg. The egg was perfectly cooked and the bread was so soft and fluffy. I've also heard great things about the polenta fries so will be back to try them!

Yelp
This has hands down been the best breakfast spot EVER. Fast. Convenient. Fresh ! I will say I wish they had better parking because being a mom I had to juggle getting food :( 10/10 across the board.

Yelp
Great little spot. Perfect for a quick little meal. If you're looking for a full breakfast this might not be for you. If you want a breakfast sandwich and a side this place is for you. Staff was great. If I lived nearby or I had a place like this where I live I would be a regular patron. Only 4 seats at the counter, so if you have a bigger party it could be tough. There are also tables and chairs outside. I especially loved the little TV with the EarthCam on the hummingbird feeder located in Texas.

Yelp
After taking a couple bites of my breakfast, I texted my husband saying that I was eating the best breakfast I've had in a really long time. Holy cow! I would give Martha on-the-fly 100 stars if I could, they seriously know what they're doing in the kitchen. I ordered the Doris breakfast sandwich which was basically like a breakfast smash burger with sausage instead of burger. It was absolutely phenomenally delicious and Ginormous! The sausage tastes of high quality meat that's seasoned perfectly, the egg is big and flavorful with melted American cheese and a soft brioche bun. The cornmeal fries were quite a surprise as I had seen them online but didn't really know what to expect. The outside is super crispy and the inside almost the consistency of mashed potatoes or grits. Topped with dill and other fresh herbs, they are very unique and delicious. They're served with a dipping sauce that tastes lightly of mustard. Because I ended up waiting a while longer than they had quoted me, they treated me to a free cinnamon roll which was really the icing on the cake. The cinnamon roll is different from others I've had, because it has a light lemon flavor and the texture is spot on. I'm already looking forward to bringing all of my friends back here for an amazing breakfast. I only ate half of my sandwich and a couple of the cornmeal fries and one bite of the cinnamon roll and I was full. This meal cost $20 with the tip and will last me an entire day. A+++++++

Yelp
WOW run don't walk to this gem! The little donuts to the cornmeal fries dipped in gravy to the best breakfast sandwich you will ever have!! I took a few pics but ate the fries too fast to get a pic! Great service and very friendly!

Yelp
It was ok. We had wanted to try it for a while and see what the hype was about. Ordered our sandwiches, showed up on time and busted them open, and they were ok. We had a Betty and a Jane. When we opened them up, they were warm. Cheese wasn't melted. Not sure if that's how they are supposed to be or not, but I'd have liked my sandwich hot. It tasted fine. Eggs were fluffy, bacon was good, bun seemed fresh. But honestly, for the price, we will go somewhere else after church next time.

Yelp
Yes, the line is worth it. Staff here works quickly and always have a smile on their face. This is one of the best breakfast sandwiches in a long time. The portions are huge and they come on a fresh brioche bun. It's an expensive sandwich but worth the money in my opinion. The Betty is my favorite and the black pepper gravy on the side is incredible.

Yelp
Wow- what a great quaint little restaurant. Went after a night shift and was very happy I made the trip. Great concept with options for breakfast. Would highly recommend checking it out in warmer months to enjoy the great outdoor seating. Would be very weather dependent though - nothing covered. The inside is tiny with 3-6 seats but it is what makes the atmosphere so unique and memorable. Will definitely go again.

Yelp
Super cute breakfast sandwich place in Tremont. Staff are very friendly. Long line, but it moves fast. Our food did not take long at all. Betty sandwich was massive and delicious, (in my opinion) better than Eggslut. Polenta fries were crispy on the outside and smooth on inside, you can dip them in gravy or tomato jam. Overall, very impressed, would definitely come again.

Yelp
This place is absolutely AMAZING! Let me unpack that and tell you why. First, the food is exceptionally tasty and made from scratch both weekly and daily. The bologna...made from scratch. Buns? Made from scratch. Fries? You guessed it! Made from scratch. Wow! Second, the friendliness of everyone we met. Why are they so friendly you might be asking? Because they are all owners that work there; and they engage the customers. Their business is in their heart! Third, they live their values (you'll have to talk with them about this one. :-)). Fourth and finally, they provide complimentary coffee. Next to the kona coffee I have shipped in from my friend's farm in Hawaii, this is THE best I've ever tasted. Wait...did I mention it's complimentary? Do yourself a favor and give this place a try some weekend. It's a popup so check them out on Instagram.

Yelp
Visited on an afternoon for lunch and was not disappointed. Had the smoked turkey hoagie which was amazing. The turkey was smoked in house and the bun was freshly made from scratch. You could tell the quality and the care that was put into the sandwich. It is the best sandwich I have had in Cleveland. The service was incredibly friendly and all the staff were accommodating. There are not a lot of places in Cleveland doing this kind of food, it is creative, from scratch, and is served along side a brand and ethos that makes you want to come back for more.

Yelp
How does this only have 7 Yelp reviews?!?! Martha on the Fly has been on my list of places to try for awhile and Saturday morning was a perfect opportunity. They have a new micro diner location on Professor in Tremont. Order ahead online or be prepared to wait in line. You can tell how amazing it is because the line quickly formed. I got two sandwiches and the cornmeal fries. Everything was 10/10. This is a must try! I would go back tomorrow to try other items from their menu. Hands down one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had.
