Where To Eat Outside In Williamsburg

"We’re not aware of any official rankings, but if an award were given out for the best people-watching corner in Brooklyn, North 5th and Bedford in Williamsburg would be a strong contender. That’s where you’ll find this all-day cafe, with outdoor seating right on Bedford offered every day from 8:30am-9pm (11pm on weekends)." - matt tervooren

Martha’s Country Bakery - Review - Williamsburg - New York - The Infatuation

"The menu at Martha’s Country Bakery has more than 10 types of cheesecake, as well as different sections for “large cookies” and “large chewy cookies.” In other words, whatever type of snack you’re in the mood for, it’s probably served at this big Williamsburg bakery. It’s open from 6am until midnight or later everyday, so keep it in mind for coffee and a pastry on your way to the L train or late-night dessert. photo credit: Alex Staniloff" - Matt Tervooren

Google
Great dessert place with a lot of options. If you can’t find a dessert you like here, then it doesn’t exist. They have tons to choose from. We were a party of 4 people and went later in the evening. It wasn’t that crowded and we were seated immediately. The service was a little slow. The table wasn’t clean and needed to be wiped down. Once we received our desserts, it was as if they completely forgot about us. I had to flag down a server so we could pay and leave. The desserts were great! We tried the tres leche cake, Black Forest cake, brookie, and apple pie cheesecake. My favorite was the brookie. It was served warm with whipped cream. I would definitely go here again but hope the service is better.

Google
10/10 LOVE THIS PLACE. Shoutout to the manager Nick! He was incredibly friendly and super helpful when I asked for recommendations. With so many options to choose from on the menu, it can be overwhelming but I appreciated how knowledgable he was. This family friendly bakery in the neighborhood is a truly a gem. It literally makes my day just thinking about the aroma of freshly baked goods and coffee from Martha’s. The staff is very meticulous when it comes to detail because everything is perfectly labeled. Must get the Berry Napoleon, Raspberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Chunk Cookie, Nutella Cookie, & their cupcakes. It is very spacious with tons of seating inside - this is definitely a plus. It's become my go-to spot for when I’m craving a treat or need a delicious cake for an upcoming celebration! Will be back soon to try out more desserts.

Google
Tons of choices! I choose flan but it’s texture is more like cheesecake, too dense. It’s not bad but it’s not flan for me. Mango gelato is good, the size of the eclair is big. The chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream is served warmed.

Celebrating my birthday, I searched for the most deliciously delectable treat I could find, and my search led me to Martha's Country Bakery. They red velvet, blue velvet - all the velvets! I had to let the person who was helping me, attend to other patrons because I was standing amazed at all the choices available to me. For a Sat night, the place had a healthy mix of people: groups, couples, young and older. It was a relaxed atmosphere, and while it was pretty packed, there really was no wait time. There were several workers available to take my order. The slice was moist, fresh and worth the price for a bdy treat. One of my top picks to get a black and white cookie, too!

Google
So many beautiful options. I was excitedly overwhelmed. Great place for a coffee date. I went on a Saturday after dinner and noticed there was a DJ. I've been here a few times before (ordered to go) but never noticed it. Nice touch. They don't serve alcoholic beverages but a espresso martini would have been perfect.

Martha’s Country Bakery in Williamsburg, New York is as good as it gets when it comes to desserts 🧁. The place is spacious, clean, and smells delicious 😋. Almond horn, black and white chocolate 🍫 mousse, and berry Napoleon are great 👍 on. Special thanks to Paula and Jawahir for a great service.

Google
This bakery has an incredible selection, and clearly it’s a popular spot that the community loves. I gave both their tres leches and flan a try this past visit, but I would recommend their tarts. I personally prefer my tres leches without a lemony tang but the sponge itself was fluffy and soaked in milk the way it should be!

Google
Called a head and let them know I will arrive at 1201 am they assured me I’m good to go and can still come in and enjoy my treats , they have a fantastic selection of cakes pies and everything in between the service isn’t the fastest but they make up for it with good service , overall a great spot to grab a sweet or go on a date 10/10 bathroom is clean plenty of seating and good vibe / atmosphere very big and parking is easy coming back forsure .

Yelp
I've been to this bakery before. Today, however, I order a dessert called the Salty Caramel Chocolate Walnuts. Needless to say, I really enjoyed sinking my teeth into it. There were so many desserts to choose from, but the Salty Caramel dessert was the one that stands out to me the most!

Yelp
Martha's Country Bakery is hands down the spot for chocolate fudge cake--or really, any kind of cake. Every time I'm in Williamsburg, I make a stop here. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a friendly hostess who asks if you're dining in or taking out. We decided to grab our desserts to go, so we lined up at the takeout counter, where all the cakes are beautifully displayed. I usually go for the chocolate fudge or the layer cake, and they never disappoint. Both are super moist, creamy, and basically heaven in your mouth if you love chocolate as much as I do. You really can't go wrong with any of their cakes, but chocolate is my go-to every time. One of the best things about Martha's? They're open late. If you're in the neighborhood, definitely stop by--you won't regret it!

Yelp
I have fond memories of Martha's Country Bakery. One of my roommates in school would bring a whole caramel cake back from vacation. We all really enjoyed it. This was my first time going in person with a big group of 7 at a table. We were seated quickly but the service was so slow that my brother and his gf went to the take out line to buy a whole cake even before we knew who our server was. Once the server arrived, everything was smoother Everything was very good from cheesecake to tiramisu. The Neapolitan was very fresh! Would recommend take out!

Yelp
whenever I get off the L at Bedford Avenue, I feel drawn inside the bakery. Everything is so beautiful and taste just as good as it looks. They have daily specials during the week (my favorite is cupcake tuesday because that tiramisu cupcake *chefs kiss*). I also really love their chocolate chip banana pudding and can never leave without getting a peanut butter cookie. there are so many options here. You can either sit down to enjoy or get your stuff to go and they always have someone available to help & are quick to offer you service. It is almost always packed so I recommend looking ahead of time to know what you want.

Yelp
Martha's Country Bakery is a nice and cozy bakery, and their vanilla bean gelato is amazing! It's rich, creamy, and served in generous scoops. I ordered the two scoops, and I believe I was given 4 scoops. I'd also like to note that If you want to sit down in the restaurant, you'll need to order your order as a dine-in. It would be nice if they had some seating by the windows, not many but a couple of stools for those who would like to sit a little after getting their takeout orders. The cakes in the display case look delicious too, though I haven't tried them. Overall, it's a great bakery to satisfy any dessert craving. It's a bit similar to Mia's Brooklyn Bakery, and Martha's cakes look so moist and soft. However I stick to ordering my cakes from Mia's and my gelatos from Martha's!

Yelp
They make you feel special here on your birthday! There is something relaxing about a cappuccino and a slice of cake, no matter the time! My boyfriend and I love it here.

Yelp
While I'm not the one with a sweet tooth, occasionally here n there I join the masses in an outing for desserts. The last instance was at Martha's country bakery. This is a very popular establishment and it's always packed. We ordered the pistachio cake and the chocolate cake, along with some chocolate cupcakes. I actually ordered a latte with Nutella. I wasn't too sure how they would incorporate the Nutella in the latte, whether it would be a powdered flavor? So I asked the server and she said that they actually blend the Nutella at the end with the latte. It retains extra flavor. It absolutely loved it, so much so that I ordered a second latte on the spot. The cakes were all very good. I took a small bite of each. Service was top notch and it was comfy n cozy inside.

Yelp
Staff was nice and welcoming. The bakery looks so nice. The desserts look nice too. It's just the cakes in general :( wanted to like them bc of the hype they get but it's not for me. Had the tres leche before it was alright but definitely not a tres leche cake. Then the flan. It was not good at all. Weird texture and it does not taste like flan. not good :(. For the price I thought it would be good or at least mediocre. I don't like cheese cake but it was good‍

Yelp
Amazing pastry place in Williamsburg! So many options and you would definitely be wanting to try as many as possible.. because you'd get so much temptation to eat! Their coffee is great too. They replace some cakes every 6 hours or so. Very fresh and tasty! There are inside table sheets so chill and comfortable with all sweet serving!

Yelp
My friend highly recommended the cakes here so we came for an afternoon tea. I got the NY cheesecake and it was delicious, slightly on the cake side. There's a whole display of cakes but unfortunately my stomach can't have any more. Would come back to try others. The Mississippi mud pie looked great but looked a lot.

Yelp
A PURE DELIGHT. My sister recommended we come here after having dinner in the area and I love cake so much and nowhere does it as good as Martha's. We got the triple chocolate mousse slice, which included such a moist chocolate cake along with three different mousses that went so well together. It was super light which was surprising considering how heavy chocolate can be. I'm a big fan of fruit tarts, so we had to try the one here. This one was definitely the worst of the pastries we got. The crust didn't taste fresh and was on the soggier side rather than the crunchy, brittle texture you get from fresh crusts. The star of the show was the berry napoleon which had the flakiest pastry and the creamiest custard, cut through with the freshness of the berries. Literally so delicious I'm still thinking about her. My cousin also tried their yogurt berry gelato, which was giving pinkberry but fresher. I'd highly recommend it if you like pinkberry's tart froyo.

Yelp
I only like one apple pie, and that's the sour cream apple pie from Little Pie. Today I'm here to write that it shall remain that way. I didn't care for the texture or taste of the sour cream apple pie here. However, their pecan pie is really good. It is hard to mess up pecan pie though so I can't say I've ever had horrible pecan pie. Willing to try out the Freddo cappuccino. Service is good as well.

Yelp
So we pulled up to Martha's after brunch for my home girls bday. Martha's is a pretty well known bakery around the city IYKYK. The place is huge they have a nice outdoor area to eat & a nice size indoor area also, the service was good you come in & go right on the line to look at the cake you want then let the ladies know which one. I went with the strawberry shortcake it was good not great but overall I enjoyed it. The place was clean & workers were friendly. It was nice to get out & hang w/ some homies. Recommend for sure.

Yelp
When you're craving something sweet and indulgent, Martha's Country Bakery never disappoints. Recently, I ordered the Berry Napoleon and the Oreo Mousse Cake Slice through UberEats. The delivery arrived within the anticipated 90 minutes, and the experience was every bit as delightful as my previous visits to this beloved bakery. The Berry Napoleon at Martha's is a symphony of flavors and textures. With its rich and creamy custard, generously folded in with strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries, every bite is a burst of fruity goodness. The portion size is impressively large, easily enough for two servings. The pastry itself is a masterpiece - flaky, crispy, and buttery, adding a delightful crunch to the smooth custard and juicy berries. Priced at around $10, this dessert is worth the price. I first tried the Berry Napoleon because it was highly recommended in a news article, and it has since become my go-to treat every time I visit Martha's. The Oreo Mousse Cake Slice is another gem from Martha's. This moist and rich cake perfectly captures the essence of Oreo, with a creamy mousse that includes delightful Oreo bits folded in. The flavor is intense, satisfying any Oreo lover's cravings, and the portion size is just right for a single indulgent serving. At $10 per slice, it offers great value for a dessert of such high quality. Martha's Country Bakery is a sit-down establishment where you can enjoy your desserts in a cozy and welcoming environment. A server will take your order, and there's usually no wait time. The pastries come out promptly, ensuring you can enjoy them at their freshest. If you're in a hurry or prefer to enjoy your treats at home, you can also order your desserts to go. Martha's Country Bakery consistently delivers exceptional desserts, whether you're dining in or ordering through UberEats. The Berry Napoleon and Oreo Mousse Cake Slice are just two examples of the divine treats that make this bakery a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Next time you're in the mood for something sweet, give Martha's a try - your taste buds will thank you.

Yelp
I came here with my friends for a quick bite of dessert after dinner and it hit the spot! We shared the warm chocolate cake with ice cream and it was divine! We had to wait 10 mins I assume for the chocolate lava cake to bake but the dish came out relatively quickly! One thing to note is that we expected a slice of cake and not a lava cake and that threw us off a little but didn't matter too much. This was big enough for two people to share if you're looking for a quick bite. This place has a counter where you can go up and grab a dessert to go or sit down and order from a menu. It's a nice little spot to hangout with your friends in NYC without having to eat a whole meal or grab drinks. The service is always super friendly and the place is usually pretty full but it's never too loud or annoying! I would recommend everyone check this place out!

Yelp
Super clean establishment and warm staff. Service is amazing from the friendly hostess, knowledgeable waiter and amazing owner/manager Nick. On Fridays, Saturday and Sundays DJ Disciple spins some amazing tunes that want to make you get up and dance. My favorite desserts are the custard Napoleon with the most delicious not overly sweet custard cream. Second favorite 7 layers chocolate cake; the cake is like a sponge and the chocolate mousse filling is just divine. The new mango panacotta and fig cheesecake are nice additions to the wonderful array of sweets at this local bakery that attracts such diverse clientele from all over the city. So do yourself a favor and stop by Martha's Country bakery to indulge your palette to a sweet bliss!

Yelp
Sorry Martha's, not sure if we were ever come back. Staff was great but why happened to your prices, hot chocolate costs over $10 bucks and not so big cake slices aren't even that good costs so much $$$, not coming back here!!

Yelp
For some reason, I kept thinking this bakery had something to do with Martha Stewart, but it doesn't. Jamie W. saw it on Bedford Avenue after our long walk over the Williamsburg Bridge and stroll around Domino Park. We made a beeline because who doesn't like a slice of pie? It was quite a huge dining space and the display case held miles of appetizing baked goods. OK, not miles but definitely yards. The bakery is classic all-American, and everything looked immaculately made and huge. We decided to split a $8.50 slice of their famous Sour Cream Apple Pie which came with a couple of dollops of whipped cream and a caramel butterfly painted on our plate (photo: https://yelp.to/U0r2aqOuFW). Traditional yummy...you expected less here? We needed the $2.75 Coffee just to temper the sweetness (photo: https://yelp.to/HVfg4Esz0A). FOOD - 4 stars...classic pie and quite sweet AMBIANCE - 4 stars...a huge dining area with big tables SERVICE - 3 stars...very serious when you get their attention TOTAL - 4 stars...not THAT Martha RELATED - Exploring Brooklyn? Here's a collection of places I've visited and reviewed: https://bit.ly/2V51pX7

Yelp
We came here to grab dessert after a dinner. I was expecting a cute little bakery but opens up a huge sit down place. If you sit down the baked goods are a little more expensive but I think it's worth it. We got the berry pie with ice cream and the banana pudding (mainly because it was on a weekday special). Both were surprisingly good. I really liked how airy the banana pudding was compared to the Magnolia Bakery one. I also loved the chunks of fruit in the pie but that might not be for everybody. We had a great time and all the servers were so nice to us. I would definitely urge you to check out the weekday deals before you go!

Yelp
Martha's has been officially added to my list of favorite bakeries! My absolute favorite cake from here is their berry napoleon - the crust is always so flaky and not too sweet and complements well with the cream and berries :) I love the ambiance inside the cafe with alot of seating for large groups. Our waitress was very friendly and patient with us and they helped us with our selections as well. Our group of 4 ordered a berry napoleon, red velvet and their chef's selection of sour cream apple pie! They were all delicious; however the sour cream apple pie, although it was delicious , the sour cream flavor was very subtle. I always recommend this place to friends and family when they come to visit or need recs!

Yelp
Never had an issue when coming here. My go to place for dessert whenever I'm back in town. My go to is the banana chocolate chip bread pudding never fails. I usually get the red velvet hot chocolate but I switched it up for the Mexican hot chocolate and it was great. Service was good I don't think I ever had bad service. It was packed as it always is but I sat really quick so no issues there. Definitely recommend ****

Yelp
one of the best chocolate cakes in the game the desserts: i like the cake slices a lot better than cupcakes. the chocolate layer cake and chocolate mousse cake are some of my favorites!!! it's so decadent and amazing the space: both locations in williamsburg have seating service: quick

Yelp
I love heard about Martha's all the way in Florida so during my trip to the city I had to make my out here! Had it been up to me I would've ordered the whole menu, especially after seeing all the pastries and desserts on display. I opted to sit down so I didn't make my way through the line to see everything, but from what I did see my mouth drooled! I ordered the Oreo mousse cake slice, which chilled yet so moist and soft. I literally ate this whole slice with no regrets! I also tried the Nutella cupcake; it didn't tested like Nutella much (could've been from eating the oreo cake before), but it was just as good! I checked in and the lovely staff gifted me another slice of a fruit cake? It was so cute! Literally was so sweet and unexpected, so thank you! Martha's is such a cute place, with tons of seating, and great service! Not sure what I was expecting when venturing here, but I enjoyed it!

Yelp
I came here recently around 5pm on a Sunday. My friend and I ordered pastries to dine in. After we finished, it took a very long time to receive the check. A less than stellar experience, but the food continues to be pretty solid. I had a walnut brownie, which could easily have been split between two people. A few months ago, I also tried the Oreo layer cake, which was probably my favorite cake I've tried from here thus far.

Yelp
This Martha's Country Bakery is located in the heart of Williamsburg and conveniently within walking distance from the Bedford Av subway station. Tonight, I came here with my good friends for dessert. We were seated at the table near the restrooms. Dessert Me: Tres Leches Slice + Red Velvet Hot Chocolate with regular milk and whipped cream The tres leches was one of my favorite cakes. Each bite was creamy and delicious with peach slices. Also, the red velvet hot chocolate was one of my favorites. One word: Scrumptious C: Strawberry Shortcake Slice + Nutella Hot Chocolate with almond milk and whipped cream J: Berry Napoleon + Mango Raspberry Strawberry Smoothie I redeemed 10% off our order via my Yelp check-in!

Yelp
So glad they have multiple locations in Brooklyn so I can get my sugar fix! Love Martha's Bakery, every dessert in there is amazing. I love ordering a bunch of different ones to bring home. My favorites are the idea cheesecake and the classic NY cheesecake. I've never sat inside to eat at the restaurant but it looks very organized and there's decent seating. You can order everything to go pretty quickly, since everyone who works there, moves quick!

Yelp
To end a Saturday evening after having some food and drinks out, we stopped by this bakery to try out a few desserts. There was a little bit of a line when we got here, but it moved quickly. I ordered a cannoli, an oreo cheesecake slice, and a triple chocolate moose cake slice. Everything was very good. I loved the cannoli, and this was my favorite of the three items. The chocolate chips were delicious, and the cannoli cream itself tasted amazing. The chocolate cake slice was average; nothing to brag about. The cheesecake slice was pretty good, though. I could definitely have another slice of that. Overall, it is a great bakery with lots of dessert options to choose from.
google avatar

Sally V.

Yelp
So many desserts to choose from in here! I tried the chocolate chip cookie dine in and they served it warm with whipped cream. It was massive and delicious. Service was a little slow so I probably would just get a pastry to go next time. It was deceptively huge inside and a decent amount of tables and chairs.
google avatar

Joanne T.

Yelp
I've never been to a bakery that also had such a large sit down area like a regular restaurant's seating. It felt very cozy and rustic inside and all the sweets were displayed in these large cases that ran the length of the back wall. We got a peanut butter hot chocolate, Nutella hot chocolate, and a black and white mousse slice. Everything was really good, if you're a peanut butter fan you will definitely taste the flavor in the hot chocolate.

Yelp
This review is strictly for the handful of pasteries that my brother-in-law brought me back from New York. This included a chocolate chunk cookie, raspberry jam cookie (I think this is their linzer tart), and a chocolate dipped palmier. He did briefly facetime me, bu tI don't think me seeing the bakery through a phone screen really allows me to properly judge the location's decor, but from the little I saw it looked nice and homey. Really liked seeing the giant display of baked goods they had as well as the assortment of cookies in each glass container. Also, take this review lightly. I reheated each item once I got them. I'm sure they must taste much better onsite, fresh. The items are HUGE. Appropriate, as my BIL said a cookie was like $4, but that actually doesn't seem too bad for a pastry from a bakery. The chocolate chip cookie was good. I'd say better than average, but a little dry. This didn't stand to me, but I liked it. Personally prefer Levain's cookies, but this is a personal preference. Very possible others may enjoy this more than myself. Okay, so the items here have been established to be huge. The chocolate dipped palmier was MASSIVE. Like huge, huge. Two or three of my hands huge. I also thought this was just ok though. It was sweet and flakey. The chocolate dipping was nice, but it's not something I'd get for myself again. I believe it had some sugar crystals sprinkled on it. I can see the general masses liking this item. As for the raspberry cookie, I'm not a fan of raspberry cookies in the first place, but this was also solid in my book. Cookie was crumbley and buttery. Jam was good. Wouldn't get it again myself, but if you're a fan of raspberry cookies this is worth a try. If I ever get to visit this bakery myself in the future, I'd definitely like to try their cakes! My BIL said they were delicious.

Yelp
This place is awesome! Love its night vibe. I came here with gf and a friend on a Saturday night. Wow it was super crowded and vibrant. The food was amazing, the line was long, the music was chill - there was a DJ on the floor, and the lights were superb. The place is clean, big, airy and with lots of seatings. Pretty impressed of it vs the one in Bayside. I love this place better than Bayside The pastries were great, flavorful, big, and eye pleasing I also had a large hot coffee black. Pretty strong to keep me up at night Pretty enjoyable place to chill and enjoy it with friends and family : )

Yelp
Love Martha's! I love all of their locations. I love the tiramisu cupcakes, the chocolate mousse cheesecake and the Mississippi mud pie cheesecake. My favorite thing to get here is the Mississippi mud pie, but they took it off of the menu. Martha's, please bring it back!
google avatar

Yelp
The BEST cake pops in the whole city! While the line can be very long, it is worth the wait, and taking dessert to go makes the experience as fun as having it onsite.

Yelp
This is my review of Martha's country bakery located in Williamsburg Brooklyn. My cousin took me here for my birthday and I was stunned by all of the different choices of desserts that this restaurant has from macaroons, cupcakes, cake, pie, ice cream, any type of dessert that you'd like this restaurant carries. I love that it's a sit down restaurant so you have a waiter bring you your food. My favorite cake is tiramisu so I had a slice of tiramisu and my cousin had a slice of cheesecake with hot chocolate on the side. I also had a macaroon for the first time and I had some iced tea. I'm not much of a sweets person but everything tasted great. Overall I would rate the experience an 8 out of 10.

Vignesh S.

Yelp
Some of the best cakes I've had in the city! I've never had a bad experience here. The triple chocolate mousse cake was light yet delicious. The Nutella cheesecake was so so tasty, it was right up my alley as a fan of sweets and of cheesecakes. Whether you dine or take away, the service is quick and easy. The restaurant itself is a bit small, so it's a place more suited for smaller parties.

Yelp
Martha's is a staples in NYC. It's a busy dessert spot with some savory breakfast option's. We had a number of desserts lemon tart with meringue, Oreo cupcake , rice pudding, and crème brûle. The cupcake was not great it tasted like the store . The rice pudding tasted pretty good I was pleasantly surprised. My friend enjoyed her lemon tart. It's was pretty buddies inside they had a Dj

Yelp
This is the perfect place to grab a treat. There's every kind of pastry you could want (cake, pudding, macaroons, and more!). You can grab something to go or sit down in a spacious area. My friend and I were trying to kill time between dinner and a show, so we loved going to Martha's, ordering two slices of cake and tea, and listening to music (there was a DJ near the barista station). Service was quick and friendly, and if you check in on Yelp, you get 10% off!

Yelp
Martha's is a great place to stop by for a sweet treat with friends!! Lots of seating and countless items on the menu. You can either be seated or grab and go! Banana pudding was pretty solid - not too sweet. The Pecan Pie came warm which was so yummy! We got the Warm Chocolate Cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for $7.25 and it turned out to be a molten chocolate cake. This was good but not as sweet or moist as we hoped. The ice cream and whipped cream definitely saved it. The hot chocolate and tea were also fine. Would love to try the Napoleon next time!

Yelp
They have great selection of sweets, The service was great, fast and courteous. I with they have breakfast menu with croissants and crepes. We got some cakes and brownie. Super sweet, very heavy. That's why I graded them as 3 stars

Yelp
What a great idea to get a slice of pie late at night! I've never heard of a sour cream apple pie but I saw it was the chef's recommendation so I had to try it. It did not disappoint! I'm not sure where the sour cream was but I felt that this pie brought out the sweet taste of the apples more than the sugary taste of a traditional apple pie. We also got a regular chai and one chai latte. Both were great compliments to the pie. There was a long line of people ordering takeout and also ample space for seating inside the store!

Yelp
Call yourself a country bakery? Get the country seating and the friendly vibes and that makes it alright, right? No. You are not excused. You are not excused for the posturing of a grand cuisine that I got to learn well in my time in the south. You are not excused for trying to put out southern charms when you cannot even produce a good piece of pie. The portion is generous, but it is bland, uninspiring, and belongs in the landfill in the backwoods of a ravine than on your plates. You are not excused for high prices and then say oh take 10% off the bill when all you did was remove the tax. You ruined it for me. You ruined it for the people you are supposed to embrace. But bless your heart by trying!

Yelp
Martha's Country Bakery is a local favorite with multiple locations in nyc. This location has a ton of seating with a ton of pastries, cakes, and sweet goodies. Service was quick on the weekday morning I dropped by - the banana walnut muffin was huge and super tasty. The fruit tarts were good but not the best. The sweet display is huge so there will always be something you will find to satisfy your sugar cravings here.

Yelp
Aside from the excellent desserts, service, and ambience, I have to give a shout out to their manager, Victor. He keeps that restaurant running smoothly and super clean ! The cakes are wonderfully displayed! So appetizing . I want them all! And if you happen to leave one of your personal items behind, be rest assured that the staff will keep for you in their LOST & FOUND . I give this bakery 10 stars.

Yelp
Baked good galore tucked into the heart of Williamsburg -- it's a stone's throw from the L train and they have an amazing selection of desserts to get my sugar fix. I stopped in on a Tuesday night with a friend and they had a plenty of tables open. I got a slice of the Tres Leches cake and it was super authentic and yummy -- it wasn't overly sweet and the perfect amount of cinnamon-y. My one knock is that it was a LOT of frosting, but otherwise really good. I'll definitely be back to get another sweet treat!

Yelp
This is where I always get my cake and eat it too! Lovely staff and a large seating area for when you want to take a break and enjoy that dessert!

Yelp
I went to get a quick latte and croissant before getting a tattoo at Nice. The service improved from when I last came; I didn't have to wait forever for them to take my order or my food. The latte was delicious, and so was the croissant. The presentation was lovely!

Yelp
Martha's is always a hit. Everything they make is such quality but when summer comes around I am having that key lime pie weekly! The service is always solid and if you want to stay and have your treat and coffee it's a nice environment (especially on those hot Summer days and nights). Both locations are A+

Yelp
This bakery is situated in the heart of Williamsburg just steps away from popular vintage shops, parks, and restaurants! There are two locations pretty close to each other in Williamsburg and I stopped by both. This specific bakery is much bigger and has more options than the smaller off-shoot one. From the outside it looks like a typical bakery but when you walk in you're instantly greeted by an incredible selection of baked goods. There is so much to choose from here! I had a hard time picking just one item because everything looked so good but I ended up getting the Mississippi mud pie slice. It's a hybrid between a brownie and a chocolate mousse pie. It was incredibly dense, goey, chocolately and packed with fresh nuts. It had the perfect amount of richness without being too overpowering. The slice was also massive. I nibbled on one slice throughout the whole day. While I enjoyed the pie, I think their cakes and cookies are more popular. I probably wouldn't get the mud pie again because it was a bit pricey for essentially a dressed up brownie but the other items were priced fairly and looked a bit more exciting. I'm looking forward to trying other baked goods here.
