I only discovered Maryam’s Kitchen in Ealing during the winter of last year, and since then, it’s become my regular spot—especially on Thursdays when my lunch break is a bit longer.
The food here is absolutely delicious and truly reminds me of home cooking. It’s the kind of food that makes you pause and appreciate the relatives, who are no longer with you—the ones, who used to treat you to lovingly made meals and shared stories about food.
For me, Maryam’s Kitchen captures that same warmth: food made with care, passion, and soul. The meatballs with raisins and onion, are incredibly filling, and the Red Shakshuka is my go-to favourite. Yet, the standout lunch meal for me is the Ghormeh Sabzi- "a traditional herb stew with kidney beans and tender lamb, served with fragrant saffron rice."
Mind you, it’s not just lunch—it’s a moment of comfort in the middle of the hectic day! Highly recommended😁👍👍
