Such a hidden gem and the food was delicious. Got the waygu and char siu (amazing and flavorful), though as pictured neither came on the pineapple bun, which was a bummer because I feel like both sandwiches would have been taken to the next level. Regardless, as presented, they were still both a 10/10 and incredibly flavorful, especially the char siu. Ordering was simple and I love that the sandwiches can be customized. The coleslaw was probably the best I ever had because the citrus flavor really caught me off guard.
I gave the service three stars only because I wish I wasn't caught off guard by the lack of pineapple bun (was told later on after receiving the food that it wasn't done baking, which is a good sign honestly). It honestly wasn't a big deal because had I known the sandwiches would be served on toast, I probably would have skipped and missed out on an amazing food experience. I still think restaurants should be upfront with that kind of info though, especially if your offerings are presented with a main option that you don't have.
Despite the lack of pineapple bun, I will be back and I highly recommend this place. You get a lot of good food for your money. Idk if Matt is the one that's back there making everything, but he's putting in work.
