Mei Mei the original Owners and the owner after, their food was great back then, Food is to be desired, I ordered last time soup, they no longer put pork strips in it? the Beef chow fun was the dish we ordered Place COLD in winter, tables to eat, the kids used to do their homework of the owners, now the Ebike and cooters in hte room,, Prices were not on the Board, and would have gotten the lunch dish over the main small dish. thank you

I travel all over the city for work and stop by periodically to eat in different cafes. I stopped by this cafe. I didn't like the taste of the dish I ordered, but of course it was fresh, everything was good, but the sauce was disgusting, they weren't the ones that should be there. I was in a hurry, I must have said something wrong, or for some reason she counted two orders instead of one. Since I was in a hurry, I took the order and left. Then I looked at the card and saw that two orders were taken off. I saw that I had two orders in my bag, but that was probably my inattention.

The restaurant is located in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn. They prepare Chinese cuisine. Several tables are available for dining in but there are no servers. Soups 🍲, appetizers, entrees, noodles 🍜, chef's specialities, diet menu, combination plates, lunch specials, sides and beverages ☕️ are on the menu. Customers receive free items when they spend $20, $30, $40 and $60. Tax is included in the listed price. Cash-only establishment. I ordered hot and sour soup, steamed vegetable dumplings, dim sum, shrimp and lobster sauce and seafood pan fried noodles. The was average in taste and flavor.

this chinese was recommend by a friend so i decided to go for it. i order fried plantains & chicken wings fried hard ; it was the good chinese ive had in a long time. chicken was really good & the best part was they listened to directions. I also had an homemade ice T; it SLAPPPPPED! i was extraaaa hype. they delivered i think for a min of $7. anyways , highly recommend. also whoever answered the phone was very friendly! i like that for them bcus most of the time; they not so pleasant.

Best (and only) black pepper chicken (#128-A) I've even had! This is my go-to Chinese food place in Brooklyn. It's not too saucy if a dish, and has just the right amount of spice

They only take cash but they're good. Particularly good is the black pepper chicken, which I haven't seen anywhere else. It's not saucy, but still flavorful. The lack of sauce makes it a non messy food - The same relationship as dry rub ribs vs regular ribs.

I wish I can give them a negative star. I'm a New Yorker I've been eating chinese food all my life sadly. I'm new to the neighborhood not even 2 months. And this is the most disgusting chinese food I have ever had in my life. I will never order from here again. The food looked very old. I also found weird things in my food. It wasn't edible at all. They should be shut down. 🤢🤢🤮🤮💩💩😡😡

Usually not bad,but today I ordered beef with brookoly and house specials fried rice,2 dishes, they put 2 in 1 and instead fry,give me colored regular one,shitlookiing.

I've been going to Mei Mei for 50 years. The owner (back in the day) accepted exotic plants from me for his Mom. The food has always been on the money. Ample portions for the price. Downside, the rice with gravy isn't fifty cents any longer.

Service is good , fast delivery , food I said average , but this day not much restaurant have good service and food

Delicious food! I had forgotten about this place. Used to go there years ago. My go-to place from now on. Everything we ordered was very flavorful & fresh. Wonderful!!

Come on it's american chinese food and when your hungry with little choices gotta make the best. I love mei fun noodles and order with no msg, sugar or any added high blood pressure ingredients. Sometimes they loo at me like what but here they added some oyster sauce. The meal was good because I got it with shrimp and extra onions. The lady at counter was very friendly and kind. She wasn't patronizing just being herself and genuinely kind. Overall experience was good and I will be back because of my job. I have to attend classes in this neighborhood. And the food choices are omg! Nothing but fast fake food.

Above average take out Chinese food. White meat sesame chicken - thinly sliced which was nice.

Great food, delivery is always on time, great customer service, food is well cook how it should be. The only place is kelp well clean.

My favorite Chinese in Sheepshead Bay. I always order the lo mein, vegetable egg rolls, and the hot & sour soup, which I request vegan.

So I ordered from this place because of the 4 star rating, which I don't know how. This is the most bland, oily Chinese food I've ever had. Whenever I order from somewhere new, I always go with a crowd favorite, can't f**k that up right... I ordered chicken/Broccoli with white rice and chicken wings with French fries. The chicken and broccoli was horrible. Bland, no flavor.. just a ton of oil. Rice was wayyyyy overlooked. I asked my wings to be fresh and fries crispy, got the opposite for both. Food was delivered pretty quick but the food was HORRIBLE!

The quickest delivery for pretty good prices and good food, I order from here constantly and the food tastes great and fresh 95% of the time. I have gotten a few orders where the food tastes kind of old but nothing that puts me off and stops from ordering from them.

I love MEI MEI chinese food. The young lady who works the counter is so friendly. The food is delicious. My sister gets the chicken wings or sometimes the spare rib tips in garlic sauce. She loves that. We have had the shrimp with black bean sauce,lobster sauce and it was always good. The egg foo yung is good also. Its basically a take out or delivery place. You can eat in there but its just a small place.

Last of the BEST take outs in this area , been here 40 years , never a disappointment , fast , reliable service. !!

the soups are good; the dumplings are good--they're thin and tasty; main courses are mainly bland; bbq spare ribs and boneless spare ribs are tasteless, under-cooked and extremely disappointing. 4-7-17

Old fashioned really good Chinese food. Finally a place to order in and not be disappointed. Fast delivery good food!

The food here was on the decline for a while. But with the disappearance of decent Chinese fare in this neighborhood, we decided to give another try. We were pleasantly surprised and they've once again have become our Chinese takeout restaurant of choice.
