The 17 Best Breakfast Restaurants In Houston - Houston - The Infatuation
"Crepes are basically the French version of tacos. This means they can be sub-categorized as breakfast tacos—that’s just science. One of the best places to grab a French breakfast-taco-crepe is Melange Creperie in The Heights, where breakfast is served all day, every day. Get the standard ham and cheese with fluffy scrambled eggs or a warm banana nutella crepe if you have a breakfast sweet tooth." - gianni greene, chelsea thomas, julie takahashi

"Real ones will remember when Melange Creperie was just a dude posted up on a street corner flipping, crepes one by one. But now it's a full-fledged counter service restaurant inside a bright pink converted bungalow. Melange Creperie serves a lot of different crepes, from savory egg and ham breakfast combinations, to brie with jam, to crepes stuffed with black beans and salsa. Melange stays fairly busy, especially during peak brunch hours, but now two to three folks are manning the crepe stations, so you won’t have to wait too long." - gianni greene, chelsea thomas, julie takahashi

Melange Creperie - Review - The Heights - Houston - The Infatuation
"Real ones will remember when Melange Creperie was just a dude posted up on a street corner flipping crepes one-by-one from a tiny cart and you had to scour the Internet to figure out where and when to get them. Gone are the days of such hardship now that Melange Creperie is a fully locked and loaded counter service restaurant in The Heights. There’s even a permanent menu and everything. You can get ham and scrambled eggs crepes for breakfast, crepes stuffed with black beans and cheese, sweet crepes slathered in nutella, and even crepes stuffed with a pecan salad. It’s a smorgasbord. Or a crepe-asbord. It’s a lot of crepes. The cafe stays fairly busy, especially on the weekends, so expect to wait a bit.

The Stella Nutella was exquisite and the crepe was crispy. The pumpkin spice latte was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great place to get a crepe.

Hands down the BEST crape you’ll ever have.. I literally think about their crapes when I’m craving anything sweet/savory. They are the perfect texture and you get them handed to you in an easy to hold wrap. The Nutella & banana crape is a must have! The 711 latte is also great if you like sweet coffee drinks (:

Theres not many crepe shops, let alone with quality crepes that are truly artisanal and made with love. The staff is SO friendly I would give 5 stars alone for that but the variety of flavors and deliciousness is above and beyond. I’ve been several times all the way from Katy because there’s nothing like Melange Creperie

Tasteless crepes, unbelievable bad, dry and short in fillings. We had the complete option but quite frankly it was way “incomplete”… staff, on the other hand, was extremely friendly! But we go out to eat good food as priority…

Great customer service. Amazing crepes. The flavor on all of them was just too good. They also offer gluten free crepes which is awesome. Very kid friendly. They were great at recommending options based on what the kids liked. Facility is clean and cozy. Location is also great with all the surrounding shops, trails etc. 10/10 recommend!

I have been going here every week for the last month. I have been very impressed with staff, most notably Stella and Beckett. They both are very kind and very hard workers!
The crepes are fantastic with many sweet and savory options. Most recently I tried the “Oreo Fluffenbutter” which comprised of peanut butter ,marshmallow, and Oreo crumbles and it’s out of this world!
Also they have plenty of coffee and espresso options !

Tried this place out post our trail walk. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the crepe since we have had great crepes before. The crepes here is on the crunchier, chewy side and you can taste the freshness of the ingredients. We also got an iced coffee which was refreshing. Airy casual space with many seats inside and outside.

This is such a cute little shop with some delicious options! There are plenty of options to choose from, and they are willing to make something custom if they have the ingredients available. Everything is made fresh, and you can watch it being made from your table. I was delighted when I saw the staff member grating the cheese for one of my crepes! I also absolutely loved the iced chai I got.
The staff is super friendly and helpful, which I always appreciate. Bonus points for a gender neutral bathroom!
I will definitely be back soon!
