Spent ages trying to decide where to get ramen in Little Tokyo and very pleased with my choice. Fast. Great service and delicious ramen. Highly recommend.

Took the A line from work. Subway drops you off on the other side of Honda Plaza. Great ramen really enjoyed the amount of noodles and two kinds of pork; sliced and belly. The broth was excellent and comforting. I added chili sauce and an order of gyoza and a Sapporo. $17 for a bowl of Tokushima Ramen. Very delicious.

I'm not exactly a ramen expert, but I could say that the noodle quality was fantastic! It wasn't too soft like what other restaurants have, it was a bit firm just how I like it.

This food is so good, and reasonably priced I went here and will definitely be coming back The ramen and karage were phenomenal and though I didn’t have it myself I was told the teriyaki was delicious

Had higher expectations because of the reviews online, but I thought the broth was a little bland. Got the tokushima ramen. Also did not love how the pork was made.

My families favorite ramen spot in LA! We always order their chicken karaage for appetizer and the spicy tonkatsu ramen is my favorite flavor. If you don’t like too much spice you can always get the regular tonkatsu and get the spicy miso ball on the side so you can choose how hot you want it to be! Service is always quick and the waiters are nice. We’ve never had a wait for a table either so that’s a plus. They also validate parking for the lot so you can get a discounted rate for parking in little Tokyo. 5 stars for delicious food and awesome service!

Wow I was blown away by the chicken teriyaki bowl here. The menu isn’t big - it’s focused around ramen, but I’m more of a rice person than noodles so I got the chicken teriyaki rice bowl. They have a mini size which is half the price of the regular. The chicken teriyaki was heavy on the sauce for me (hence the four stars, good to ask for lighter next time) but it was delicious! The price wasn’t bad either. The seating area is on the smaller and tighter side but it’s a clean restaurant and the server was nice. It has a modest and humble storefront but the quality of the food is great. The parking lot it’s located in - Honda plaza - is free on Sundays but can get packed around lunch time. It’s a nice spot for a less crowded place (Japanese village plaza is more crowded). Overall I had a pleasant experience here — glad I tried them!

A friend and I came here after work after seeing this spot on yelp. And boy! Was this ramen tasty! We both ordered the Tokushima ramen, which per the menu, is ramen traditionally served in Japan. The broth was creamy, and didn't need any additives to express the flavor. The server who attended to us was thoughtful, welcoming, and kind. The restaurant has a few tables, and bar style seating, so make sure you come at a time to claim your spot. The food is worth it

Men Oh is a small chain of Ramen shops based out of Tokushima Japan. Over the last 12 years, this little, unassuming place has received high praise from Ramen experts everywhere; so here I am! I ordered the signature dish, the Tokushima Ramen. The broth is rich and savory, but not spicy. They gave me chili flakes and chili oil to bring up the heat. It's served with the regular braised pork chashu, as well as sliced pork belly (stir fried). The soft boiled egg was nice and creamy, and the noodles were perfect. A very good bowl of Ramen indeed! The service was friendly and helpful and the ramen came out incredibly fast. Parking is validated and they do not add any additional 'service charges' to the bill. A satisfying Ramen, and I will be back to try the Spicy Tonkatsu.

Men Oh is my go to spot when craving ramen in LA's little Tokyo! It's the perfect way to end a little Tokyo shopping trip. The restaurant is very small, but seems authentic to a real dining experience in Japan. I love to start with the chicken kaarage, it's perfectly portioned pieces of juicy chicken fried in a light and crispy batter. So tasty. The ramen broth is so rich and the noodles have a perfect bite. I love the black garlic ramen in particular(I get it everytime), but I'm certain the others are just as delicious! I'll always pick Men Oh over some of the other options in the area when I'm in town.

Tried this highly rated ramen place in Little Tokyo in the Honda plaza (parking validated partially). We ordered the signature dish, the Tokushima Ramen and the Black Garlic ramen. Even though they'r eknown for the Tokushima Ramen, I actually liked the black garlic broth more. THe tokushima was really reach and flavorful, but tasted a little sweet to me which threw me off. The black garlic was definitely stronger in taste and i would highly recommend to those who are garlic lovers! The noodles are thin and there's a few pieces of pork and one egg. Service was quick since we came around 2-3.

This ramen spot is a hidden gem, located in the Honda Plaza. They have a simple menu and the food was surprisingly delicious. We started with the takoyaki which is octupus inside of a fried doughy ball. One bite and it was bursting with flavor. The octupus inside was charred which gave it this nice crispy texture. Definitely recommended for anyone who likes takoyaki or octopus. We ordered the tonkotsu ramen and the spicy tonkatsu ramen. Both were flavorful, creamy and slurpin delicious. I enjoyed the perfectly poached egg. The pork was tender, soft and juicy. The servers were so kind, friendly and attentive. Felt like I was at someone's home rather than at a restaurant. Men Oh definitely has a homey and welcoming ambiance. Definitely give this spot a try if you're hungry and all the nearby restaurants have a long wait.

Absolutely delicious. I ordered a bowl spicy tonkatsu ramen here to-go. What I got was almost perfect. The noodles were nice and firm, the spice had a nice kick to it. I do wish that there was a bit more toppings for the price, as my bowl was a little bare compared to close by spots, but I enjoyed it nevertheless.

Waited 20 minutes for a party of 6, which was not bad at all, considering this place is pretty tiny. Ordered the chicken teriyaki don with sauces in the side, as a rec from our waitress. It was solid but there is a reason this is called Men Oh Tokushima Ramen. I ate ramen from others who ordered the Tokushima Ramen and Tonkatsu Ramen. Both were delicious and the ramen was the perfect texture!

Hands down, the BEST ramen bowl I've ever had. The black garlic ramen was so delicious, made with a rich broth that will make your taste buds spin! I loved that they allowed me to sub cha-shu pork with their pork belly slices. I highly recommend this as cha-shu just takes away from that wonderful broth flavor. The noodles were plentiful and our bellies were very full at the end. The teriyaki chicken bowl is awesome too. Lightly fried and tossed with sauce atop a bowl of rice. This is a five star joint tucked away in a non-pretentious strip mall. Love this place!

Men Oh Tokushima serves a solid bowl of thick, tonkotsu ramen with interior that resembles of an authentic Japanese ramen shop in Japan. It is located in the same plaza as some of Little Tokyo's most famous restaurants so parking can be difficult if you come during lunch and/or dinner on the weekends. Service is non-existent but I think thats typical of Japanese ramen restaurants. We only saw our server a total of three times: to take our order, deliver our food, and receive our check. We went during lunch and it was pretty empty but it was difficult to flag down our server as he never looked our direction or was around.

I love the fact that this place closes on a late Saturday night at 11pm and we were hungry from a good workout earlier in the evening. Street parking is available during the holiday time so was able to snag a spot and walk into the restaurant. It's a really small stall in the plaza but once inside you feel like a local. I went for the tonkotsu ramen and karaage as a side appetizers. It was definitely favorable and definitely hit the spot. The waiter was attentive and noticed when we were asking for anything else when we finished. Would definitely come back for a quick fix

Out on some family time with the kids, mine and my sisters + my baby sister. We almost missed this spot when we walked by, thank goodness we didn't. I've never had ramen before. This place was recommended by my daughter and I'm glad we stopped by. The service was great. It's a small intimate place, you can probably fit around 30 people. The table was set up fairly quickly. We were given enough time to look at the menu. We had the gyoza, fried chicken with mayo to start, added a side of sriracha of course. Signature Ramen, Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen oh my goodness my first try I almost died. It wasn't that it was extremely spicy it just went down the wrong way. It was a bit spicy, had almost a smoky flavor. Tonkatsu Ramen it was as my nephew said sensational, he added simmered pork, scallions and extra egg. At first bite it's spicy but then it's smooth mild flavor. Chicken teriyaki with mayo, we had the regular bowl. It had spicy chicken with seaweed and scallions, topped with teriyaki and mayo. The rice was plain, fluffy and sticky but the sauces mixed in were a great addition. Great place to stop by while exploring little Tokyo.

We were going to go to Pasta e Pasta across the lot but the queue was over an hour wait, so we tried this place instead. I've tried a bunch of ramen places before, but this one is one of the better ones. I got the black garlic ramen. The broth wasn't too salty and the noodles were a good texture. Their marinated eggs were alright, but it was a little overcooked. Overall though, a very enjoyable bowl of ramen. My favorite thing there was the karaage. It was so crispy and light and their sesame sauce was great. Our waitress was also amazing. My family has a few different allergies and she went back to the kitchen multiple times to make sure no one was getting anything that would trigger an allergic reaction. She was also so friendly and kind! Made our night 10x better. Def would go back.

There's plenty of ramen spots in little Tokyo but one of the best ones is also men oh Tokushima! I've been here plenty of times and their ramen is always consistent and the broth is just perfect. Not too watery, not too thick, but right in the middle that makes your chest warm on a cold day. Don't get me started on the flavor. UMAMI! Honestly, one of the few places where I finish everything in the bowl! Service is fast and friendly and I'm usually in and out within the hour. The restaurant is clean and the turnover is quick. There's plenty of parking because they have a parking lot and there are a few places to go to for dessert after This place is definitely in my top 5 and definitely worth checking out if you haven't. You won't regret it

We came here pretty late one night after a few bar tenders from Pali Wine recommended it. I was glad I took their recommendation! As a frequent LA traveler, I wanted to try a different ramen spot instead of all the popular ones people know. It was 45 mins before closing and they still served us really good Ramen. For starters I ordered takoyaki. I honestly thought they were ok, I've had it better to be honest. Ultimately, it was all about the ramen. I also ordered chicken Karaage and wow, it was really good. Super tender and crispy. I recommend squeezing lemon and dipping it with their mayo sauce. Amazing.. I would 100 percent order this every time. Not sure where they got the mayo, whether it was house made or imported somewhere. I want it! I can't remember if I ordered tonkatsu ramen or shoyu ramen, I did have a few drinks at Pali Wine haha. I'm pretty sure it was shoyu by the looks of my pictures the broth is very light. Speaking of the broth.. super flavorful. The ramen noodle itself was super soft and paired well with the overall soup. A good combination with bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, green onions, and an egg. I'm wondering why I have not had this spot before? Well look no further, don't sleep on this place. 10/10 would come back. Good experience and delicious tasting ramen.

Very small place but clearly very well liked! There are maybe 4 or 5 tables and then a bar that seats 6 or 7 people. There was never a free seat in the 1.5 hours I was here. The menu is minimalist, but I personally love that. My ramen came with 2 types of pork, and it was delightful. I added corn to my ramen for $2.00 extra. My friend got the spicy ramen, and I tried the broth. It was perfect. It's not too spicy but added great flavor.

Came here on a Tuesday evening around 6:15 PM, which was ahead of the dinner rush. There was only 1 other party present, so we were quickly seated and handed menus. My friend and I both ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen as we were craving some level of spice. We also ordered the karaage with sesame sauce. Our food was brought out about 15 mins or so later and everything looked very warm and freshly prepared. As far as taste, the karaage had a nice crunch on the outside and the chicken was pretty moist. I appreciated the sauce on the side to add in some savory flavor. The spicy tonkotsu ramen had a subtle kick, which was mainly noticeable when sipping the broth. This particular ramen was ok to me as I found the broth to be a bit heavy and the noodles were on the softer side. Not sure if I see this as my go-to ramen joint, but glad I at least gave it a try.

Food was amazing , service is great. I'll definitely return with different guest so they all can try. Broth is really good not too spicy, but if you want a good kick ask for it on the side. I love the rice bowl options.

This place was good! I had the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen which was super yummy and flavorful. We came here an hour-ish before closing and the staff were still very kind and attentive. I recommend!

Super fast service, parking lot in front, and great food! Meat was a bit too thick and dense for my liking but broth and noodles were amazing. Definitely worth the visit!

Ramen was average. The broth was pretty good (could've gave more) but the noodles came clumped together. The chashu was thick but really stiff, so not my favorite. Their Chicken Karaage is quite good tho! Service was nice- there was a mixup with our order and they waived it.

I remembered liking this ramen shop a long time ago, and its still just as as I remembered! It's really nice they have a QR code where you could just order on your phone and pay on your phone when you finish you meal. It's so convenient because you don't have to flag anyone down lol. My friend and I were not that hungry, but we wanted an early dinner around 5:30pm, so there wasn't really a wait or anything on a Sunday night. We were seated immediately and we decided to share their signature Tokushima ramen and an order of kaarage. The ramen was a bit smaller than we have thought? So there's not a lot of ramen noodles, and just a few slices of pork. Though the broth was really nice! I wish it could be "thicker" or heavier like soup, but the flavor was really nice. The kaarage was also perfectly fried. It wasn't over or underdone fried. It is a bit more on the "underdone" side, but that's because they want to keep it juicy still. The mayo complemented it so well. Honestly, sharing between these two items was perfect for the both of us. We got very full afterwards haha.

What a delicious bowl of ramen! Men Oh Tokushima Ramen is located in the same plaza as sushi Gen, and the first time I had them was when I couldn't wait any longer for sushi Gen. I remembered it being delicious, so I stopped by again recently. We were seated quickly on the counter top and ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen with extra ramen. The ramen came out quickly and the extra noodle portion was generous. They give half a seasoned egg and 2 pieces of chashu within the ramen but it was enough. I loved the broth! So flavorful, savory, and not too spicy. It was very well prepared and I didn't feel overly thirsty after drinking all the broth. There's so many ramen places to choose from around Little Tokyo, but I would recommend trying Men Oh if you're in the vicinity!

Parking: Parked in the open lot across the Men Oh plaza and parking was $10. I believe the Men Oh plaza is still $10 either way. Food: Loved the black garlic ramen - I was able to ask them to lessen the salt which was helpful in making it less heavy. The noodles are pretty thin and firm which is my preference! The chasu was cut a little too thick for my liking and it tasted pretty bland. Ambiance/Service: Quick seating and food service. There was only one server for the entire place and it wasn't too busy, but it was still impressive that he was able to serve all the parties dining in.

Still a favorite. So glad it survived the pandemic. My go-to is the signature Tokushima ramen and an order of the karaage. So comforting on a rainy day or when I'm sick.

The Tokushima Ramen was outstanding, with pork slices and pork belly intermingled with perfectly cooked noodles. The broth, however, was the best part--I only wish there was more!

This little spot is located in the Honda Plaza, just a short walk away from the Little Tokyo Village. The service was quick and we were able to view the menu on our phones using the QR code. It's also not as busy because not as many people know about it, but that doesn't mean the food isn't delicious! My friend and I both got the Tokushima ramen. Compared to a typical Tonkatsu ramen, it's a little less creamy and has different, thicker noodles to go with it. I enjoyed my bowl, but found some of the noodles to be almost too chewy. The pork was good, but I thought a just a little bit too salty for my palette. Overall, would recommend!

The food is always good, and never disappoints a ramen craving! Me and my partner always get gyozas and takoyaki to start which the kids love too. My kids get the shoyu ramen, and my partner and I get the spicy ramen. Service is always top tier and fast. Very clean and spacious! Parking is validated!

I've been to many ramen shops in Little Tokyo but this is my favorite. It does take a minute to receive your food, but I'm willing to wait because it is just that good! The waiter is always very friendly and polite. To anyone looking for a great ramen place you have to try this spot.

I've tried so many ramen places, but this is hands down my FAVORITE!!! I get the Tokushima ramen and it is soooo flavorful and rich in taste! Highly highly recommend this place!

Need a spot that serves non pork based broth ramen? This is your spot! It's located in little Tokyo so you already know parking is a headache. They have a private parking lot but there is a charge at the gate. They have great friendly service. Welcome you the moment you come in and seat you. They have both bar and tables to sit at. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen without the pork. They were able to substitute it with chicken but I declined. Love this place! Will come back soon.

Nope...! I've been wanting to try this place out for years and I finally got to have their ramen for the first time but I was so disappointed.. I had a high expectation for this place based on the reviews but omg...! It was the worst ramen that I've ever had. So greasy! The broth had a thick layer of fat/oil on top which was so unappetizing and the pork broth had a really bad pork smell. Yuck!

I'm back. 7 years later. And if I could give 7 stars, I would. They are still as delicious as 7 years ago. Plus, sometimes I forgot how nice it is to have your ramen served at the exact right temperature for instant gratification. If you're used to carefully blow your ramen so it won't singe your tongue, then ever so slowly protrude your lips to test if it's still too hot or not; or if you're the brave one who just go hashafahshafahah and eat scalding hot ramen, then don't come here. Because this place will ruin you for other ramen places. This place gets it. The ramen arrives in front of you ready to eat. You can immediately slurp the soup and enjoy the noodle without the fear of burnt tongue. Such a delight! The flavor is not only the best thing in here. The color of the soup, the aroma, the cozy place, even the smell of the establishment, it's all just right for the maximum enjoyment of a delightful ramen experience.

Miiiiiddddsssssss!!!!!!!! Server doesn't know how to serve water asked 3 times for water an forgot about us. He was too busy playing with his friends in the kitchen. There were 3 customers in there for lunch so they were not busy. Spicy ramen was spicy but it came out room temperature. He forgot it on the counter or something. Noodles soggy overcooked mush. Pork was old tasting from last night probably. Hopefully they can get it together. You need to fire the lunch server he is not good at his job or he needs to quit because he doesn't like his job. Idk my guy you need to figure it out. Do better be better!

Stepped in with a couple new friends I made from Pali Wine. I had already eaten dinner so I didn't order my own meal, but I did get to try their chicken karaage which came with mayo sauce on the side. We ordered a bottle of sake for the table and had some good laughs. We were able to walk in without waiting or an RSVP. The place was small, quiet, and intimate. It felt very homey / like we were regulars there. Apparently there is a location in the Bay Area (Santa Clara) that I wouldn't mind checking out since I didn't get a chance to try their ramen. Out of all of the other ramen spots in Little Tokyo, don't forget about this one if you are hungry and don't want to wait in a long line. The quality here is just as good.

Located in the Honda Plaza, this is a solid spot for some delicious ramen in Little Tokyo. Plenty of available parking in the plaza for a small fee. I got the signature Tokushima Ramen which comes with many toppings including pork belly, chashu, bamboo shoots, and a seasoned boiled egg to name a few. The flavors of the pork bone broth was so satisfying and all the toppings included definitely makes this bowl of ramen worth it. Also would recommend getting the Habanero Paste for a spicy kick, a spicy lover's delight!

Got the Tokushima ramen and it was decent. Portion wise, it was smaller than expected. Make sure to get a copy of your receipt physically or take a picture of the finalized total as they can change the tip amount post pay without you knowing. I got charged an additional amount on top of the original tip amount I gave. Due to this, I will no longer be coming back.

Overall a solid ramen place! I've never been to Japan but friends said the ramen here tasted like ones they've had there. Went in on a Thursday night and it was pretty busy -- we managed to get 2 seats at the bar. The regular Tonkotsu was delicious! The broth was not too heavy and the bean sprouts and egg were nice additions to it. We ordered the spicy add on that you can mix into your broth -- split one order for two bowls and it was more than enough. If you're in Little Tokyo area I think this place is worth a try!

Hmmm What I got the veggie ramen and added the veggie deluxe. Clear broth and it isn't as flavorful as I had imagined... Maybe I am missing an add-in... I still enjoyed the broth. For the noodles it was okay. Ive had better noodles for a ramen. I really likes the spicy bean sprouts that was on the veggie deluxe add on. Environment This is located inside a plaza that has paid parking. I can see the parking lot filling up fast during peak eating hours. The inside is quite small, there is a bar area with about 10 seats and then there are seating area with close to 10 tables I would say. Again, during peak hours I imagine it being very crowded and hard to move around Niceness of the staff The staff was super nice. For my veggie ramen it came with an egg which I didn't want and he was able to replace it no issue. Dollar It is regular ramen price, it was about $13 for the ramen and then 2.50 for the deluxe addition. To me this is expensive... ha.. (comparing to Japan) Yes? I wasn't really a fan. I am not local... so I would try a different ramen place.

This is my favorite ramen anywhere. I go out of my way to make a stop here whenever I'm in town. The staff is always friendly, I've never had to wait, the food comes fast, and it's the best taste anywhere. The only downside the parking situation, which is crowded often. Whether you have to pay is determined by the time of day you go, but going here is worth dealing with LA traffic. Once you try it, you'll never look back.

Swung by Men Oh for lunch time after picking up the kids from school last Wednesday. It was the perfect food for this cold weather we've been having. We had a party of 7 and although they have a small inside dining area, the gentleman was able to set up the tables together to accommodate us. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. I had the tokushima ramen with a side of corn and egg. It was absolutely delicious. Three other people had the spicy tokushima with their extra sides. The kids shared 3 orders of the gyoza and the chicken bowl. As this was only my second time coming here (first time during the pandemic) I had never tried the chicken bowl. That was also delicious. The chicken was so crispy and the sauces were just the perfect topping for enhance the flavor. Will order that next time.

First time here. I got the Tokushima ramen and it was delicious! The broth has a nice pork flavor and is not overly salty. It also comes with thin slices of pork belly in addition to the chasu. If you like pork, you will love this ramen.

My first review for this business was back in 2017. I promoted it since then because it definitely has its signature flavor that made me choose it over other popular ramen places in little tokyo. The purpose of this update is to reach out to its management. I tried sending this privately, but there is no email added to the website. Anyway, I knew right away that there was a change in their original tokushima ramen. It was not hard to distinguish for a loyal customer. When I was paying the bill, I finally had the guts to tell the manager that it tasted different - more bland and creamier, so I asked if the chef got changed. He was speechless for me to notice the change. I just hope that you retain each of your original ingredients because that was the reason men oh achieved its signature flavor and made it a success.

Late (8:00pm) weeknight dinner here. Place was busy but not packed. The Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen was good. We added the habanero sauce, which was very spicy. The ramen bowl was pretty good. The Tokushima Ramen was also very good. Very flavorful broth. The portions were reasonable, not huge. The service could've used a little help. They were busy, but it took a while for our food to come out (with not a lot of people either waiting or waiting for pickup orders). Also took a bit to get drinks/ water refill. Altogether, a pretty good ramen place.

Food this place wondering around little Tokyo. Chicken karage.... Fire, Tokushima ramen.... Fire. We will be back again for sure. Nothing over cooked and clean location.
