The Best Pizza in New Orleans | Eater New Orleans

"Advertiser content from TABASCO® Brand Searching for deep dish in New Orleans? Head to Midway. The casual pizza spot in the Freret neighborhood serves up genuine, rib-sticking deep-dish pies as well as Louisiana-style thin-crust slices. There are more traditional, Italian toppings like prosciutto and sundried tomatoes, as well as locally inspired ingredients like Creole sauce, Louisiana-based Chisesi Brothers ham, and garlic-marinated gulf shrimp. Don’t forget to ditch the red pepper flakes and instead try your slice with a Louisiana classic, TABASCO® Sauce. The sauce’s three simple ingredients — aged red peppers, vinegar, and salt — add just the right kick of heat and bring out the best flavors in any slice." - Eater Staff

The 17 Best Restaurants in New Orleans’s Freret Neighborhood | Eater New Orleans

"Pizza comes deep dish or thin crusted at Midway, with combos like the Kingpin made with house meatballs and caramelized onions, or the King Creole topped with garlic marinated Gulf shrimp and an Alfredo sauce. Or build your own. There are salads too, and starters that include the gold star of pigs in a blanket — fresh pizza dough rolled around Italian sausage, mozzarella, and caramelized onions finished with tomato-basil relish and Creole mustard-jalapeno sauce. The best." - Beth D’Addono

The Best Food at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport | Eater New Orleans

"Midway Pizza is a favorite on Freret Street and with good reason. Known for its deep-dish pizza with a serious crust, the MSY version is dang good. Get a scramboli for breakfast — dough-embraced egg concoctions — and say yes to one of the pies. First pick: the Uptown Meatdown, topped with pepperoni, bacon, ham, Italian sausage, and meatballs." - Beth D’Addono

Have you ever eaten at a restaurant that had amazing service but the food was average? Well, this was my experience today. Our waitress was super attentive, making sure that when our beverage level was low, she would ask if we wanted a refill. She asked if the food was good and if we needed anything. I am sensitive to raw onion, and she made sure the cook didn't prepare my pizza with any ingredients being touched by onion. How attentive is that! I also don't eat beef or pork, so my choices were few, so I ordered the Margherita pizza (no meat or onions). I don't usually eat deep dish pizza, so I did not care too much for that. However, I did enjoy the fresh ingredients as toppings. So, I gave the food a rating of four stars. The booth where I sat was pretty snug. If I were bigger, I probably would have been uncomfortable. All in all, I would return here for the service alone!

Google
Don knots was a hot mess, way too much burned garlic. The pizza looked good until you take a bite and realize the bottom is burnt. I purchased a 10 inch by mistake. I am so happy i decided not to waste my money and purchase a second pizza. Very disappointed the knots and 1/2 the pizza ended up in the trash.

Was in town for work and this was walking distance from my hotel, with great reviews? Why the hell not. It was a slow, uneventful, Nola night so wasn't busy. The restaurant has a nice charisma to it, lots of wood, large glass windows in front. Really liked it. Was flying solo so just me at the bar, and the bar manager who's name is beyond me right now was awesome. Inviting, engaging, and friendly. Got some wings and a pizza. Now the wings took forever to get to me, I won't complain about it because I was watching sports on my phone but manager came by and said "kitchen is slow, these are on me". The wings when they got to me were epic. Perfect crispy texture, great sauce. Was awesome. The pizza was just perfect. Crispy. Ingredients tasted like they were fresh. Overall this was a fantastic experience. I am going to be back in town soon for work, so you know I'll be back.

Has good deep dish pizzas. The meatball in red sauce was a great appetizer.

My grandson and me, we love the place. The service was good. The food was good. the only thing was the wings was fried too hard. The server Diamond, what's excellent, very kind, gentlemen?

First time trying this place and I definitely will be back! They have a ton of pizza options and not only deep dish but thin crust as well. I had the Reggie Dunlop & my boyfriend had the Maselli deep dish style. We each had a 10in which was plenty of food (Were able to take 2 big slices home). All of the ingredients tasted very fresh and they definitely didn’t short you. My only complaint about my pizza was that the red onion was overpowering on the Reggie Dunlop. I would come back and order a different option because this deep dish was still really good! Also, I loved the meatballs that were on the Maselli and they have a meatball appetizer. We spent about $40 between the two of us, but we definitely could’ve shared the larger size deep dish instead of getting two pizzas. I felt like the prices were reasonable for the quality and amount of food we had. Service was great, but know the deep dish takes a little longer to cook (it’s worth the wait)!

Google
Stopped by for a late night pizza and wings. Pizza was pretty good, but for “thin crust” had quite the doughy edges. Otherwise tasty ingredients. Wings were nice, not overly breaded, but ranch sauce tasted a bit off. Nice place overall and service was great.

Google
Was pleasantly surprised by this place. The outside can be deceiving so definitely poke your head in to see what goodness lies behind this books cover. Inside is an open concept space for bar, dining room, and kitchen with high ceilings, all working together to form a very comfortable atmosphere. I went during happy hour (m-th 3-5) and love the deal. Half off on all apps and pizzas, as well as salad and drink specials. I was able to get a double whiskey for $5 and tried the pigs in a blanket which was amazing, then came my pizza from their signature list “Smokey Treat” which is their version of bbq chicken pizza. The pie had an elevated taste that definitely sets it apart from other BBQ chicken pizzas out there. Worth the visit, just don’t be in a hurry when you get here as though the service is attentive, the food does take extra care and time from the kitchen, know that going in.

Yelp
We hadn't been to Midway in several years, but I'm so glad we went back today. The pizza was as delicious as I remember - Uptown Meatdown (pepperoni, sausage, house meatballs, Chisesi ham, applewood bacon) for the meat eater and my favorite, Mr. Hughes (chopped garlic, olive oil, mozzarella, ricotta, bacon, caramelized onions, and tomatoes topped with pesto sauce). They tell you it will take 30 minutes to cook your pizza, which we love. It's nice to kick back with a drink and have a relaxing conversation while waiting. No one makes you feel like you're taking up space or rushes you out of the restaurant, which is so rare these days. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Why are the beers and drinks so $$$? Place needs a deep clean- Pizza isn't like it used to be Idk Used to be amazing now- Forgettable Pizza was 'cold' How???? The sauce was literally cold Cheese was eh No flavor

Yelp
I had a personal pan pizza which I believe was 10" but nice size slices. I barely could finish my last piece. If I'm going to choose any pizza again, Midway would definitely be my selection. I went on a Friday afternoon so it was a couple of customers and we all had beautiful service. Very intimate and spacious at the same time.

Yelp
We ordered two pizzas here, a deep dish and a thin crust and both were amazing. The thin crust was not really as thin as I was expecting but the taste didn't disappoint. We got a thunderbird and Mr Hughes and were very happy with both choices. I did wait a little initially when I came to pick it up (I called it in ahead of time so I wouldn't have to wait) but the servers were also nice so it was fine. Will return!

Yelp
Food was amazing. Staff was great as well. Definitely recommended. This was a great find for us when we wanted pizza while on vacation.

Yelp
We came here one weekend and I did not realize how huge this place was. We walked in and it kept going and going and going like the energizer bunny. It would be a great place for groups. We were welcomed by the kind waiter. He sat us at the table, which are all essentially booths and took our order. I asked if it was ok to do a half and half pizza because sometimes you just can't agree on a full pizza. He said yes, that was fine. So we ordered the half shrimp and half meats. I remember how delicious the crust was. I think that crust was phenomenal. I don't remember the over taste being amazing, but it was pretty good. I also enjoyed how large the pizza was and they placed it up on a platter. They were out of a few appetizers as well. I was disappointed there weren't any fun cocktails or specialty Mardi Gras beers or drinks available being that we went during carnival. But with that being said, I think it was a fun space and really nice customer service. Our waiter was super sweet and made us feel very welcome. Parking is off street. And I believe they do offer separate checks. I may check out some other pizza joints around but it was nice to try this place.

Yelp
Service was poor. We didn't get our drinks until 15 minutes after sitting because our server forgot to bring them after we ordered them. The server who brought our pizza (not our main server) offered a refill of our half-filled coke, only to never return. The servers could be spotted chatting with other guests or rolling silverware. It was not busy at all (only 3 tables and a larger party) with 2 servers. My bf and I only shared one pizza, a coke, and a water. The food was good.

Yelp
I ordered the Don Knotts garlic knots. I really hate to say it, but they absolutely tasted like nothing. Like bread shaped air. Not even worth eating. But I'm frugal so I'll whip up a butter sauce to dip them in but don't waste your time on the knots.

Yelp
Not my kind of pizza. Too much sauce , too sweet ect. Very loud atmosphere, it's a nice lookin place.

Yelp
Went here pretty late at night and all I have to say is that this will become a permanent spot for me. We ordered meatballs, a "Reggie Dunlop" pizza that according to the website has: Chopped garlic, olive oil, mozzarella, gorgonzola, Prosciutto, pickled red onion, chopped pecans topped with arugula and a balsamic reduction and I had a beer they had on tap. The meatballs with marinara sauce and green onions were great. I regret not having a photo to share of it but we tore into it right away. However, they weren't worth the price and they were not perfect, I have had better elsewhere.. The reggie dunlop pizza was great, but there were a few issues with it. It was very oily, much more than I would expect from a deep dish pizza with extra oil. Yeah, that oily. It was still delicious but it was nothing to write home about. I also cannot speak on the authenticity of the "deep dish" claim, but it is not as deep as a dish as I have experienced in Chicago. The crust was also pretty big and really bland. They do not have many drinks available even though they advertise as they do. Seemingly out of every beverage. Overall, I would not recommend this place as a detour or somewhere to plan a day around,. It should be visited if you're in the area and want to go out and have a nice evening. Everything is more expensive than it should be, and you should just go to Blaze if you want the most efficient food. This place IS however better those restaurants so if you're feeling fancy and live in the area, I definitely recommend this place

Yelp
We ate at midway pizza on a rainy Saturday afternoon, after one of the neighboring restaurants turned us away because one of us had a coffee. The pizza and appetizers were fresh and absolutely delicious! Their pizzas have original toppings and are huge. Everyone was friendly and helpful and our food came out relatively fast for our 7 person party. Also, no one gave us any grief for walking in with a coffee and a couple of waters. Street parking. When we visited there was no outside seating.

Yelp
Great pizza always and great service always!!!! Love coming here so much. The smoky treat is the best

Yelp
The woman cooking pizzas just ignored guests. There were two other woman, but the were busy chatting it up and also would not make eye contact with standing guests. Apparently you need to order at the bar, but there is no sign. I got the pleasure of enjoying this lack of courtesy, also watched other potential guests get snubbed as well. The bar waitstaff were overworked, which made things slow. Maybe if they pulled the chattys from the pizza area - more could get done. Not a do-over.

Yelp
Ordered from UberEATS when they had a $20 off a $50+ order so we got a few extra things that we probably wouldn't have ordered otherwise. We got the house salad, Don Knotts, mozzarella sticks, the Maselli deep dish and the Uptown Meatdown deep dish. The Don Knotts were covered in tons of roasted garlic and came with a marinara dipping sauce. The amount of garlic was off putting to my SO but I loved it. The mozzarella sticks were huge and gooey. I stuck to the Maselli deep dish pizza since I'm a sucker for margarita pizzas. The Maselli has garlic, olive oil, mozzarella cheese, plum tomatoes, basil, and meatballs. The deep dish looks deceptively small, but once you grab a slice you realize why it's so small...it's a thick slice covered in toppings. It's definitely the best deep dish pizza I've had in New Orleans!
google avatar

Robin L.

Yelp
This restaurant is huge! Very spacious and comfortable. They also have shields up at each booth. The host and servers were friendly but a bit overwhelmed with guests. It was lunchtime when we came in. We eating mates and I ordered the mozzarella cheese sticks, a large cheese pizza and a small margarita pizza. I'm not sure how to word this but the large cheese pizza(this crust) we ordered was not very tasty. The dough was tasty, the sauce wasn't bad maybe it was the cheese that didn't go well with the actual pizza as a whole. The margarita pizza was much better and pan style. It wasn't that great but not bad.

Yelp
I'm going to call this a temporary review since I didn't really get the full experience. I popped in for a quick drink. I had never been here before. There was a nice selection of draught beer. I had already cooked dinner so I wasn't planning to order any food. I saw on the menu that they had cheese breadsticks. I decided to get some to go with the spaghetti and meatballs that I had cooked for dinner. The breadsticks were good, but I felt the amount for the price to be a little disappointing. The marinara sauce almost had a slight salsa taste to it so I just dipped them in my sauce that I cooked. I did like the amount of cheese on them and the bottom had a nice crisp to it. I'm a little hesitant to try the pizza if it is the same sauce that came with the breadsticks, but I think I may give it a try since I do love to try new pizza places.

Yelp
The service here, amazing! Super friendly, attentive, and quick! I went basic and ordered a pepperoni deep dish pizza, and it was good. It had a standard pizza flavor, don't know how to really word it. I wish mine had more cheese and less sauce, but that's just a preference. The people I went with had ordered the specialty pizzas and they had great feedback on them, like the bbq chicken. Overall, this a great hang out with friends and share a pizza!

Yelp
We finally made the trek (13 minute drive ) to this pizza spot for some of their renowned deep dish pizza. It was so worth it. Ambiance is casual and eclectic-typical if a pizza place. Service was on point-so attentive. Onto the food: we started with the large baby spinach salad and large Zeus' place salad. Holy moly these salads were MASSIVE and had SO many legit goodies!! Baby spinach cake with Gorgonzola crumbles, candied pecans, sliced boiled egg, and a TON of bacon! The Zeus plate was a light and super flavorful Mediterranean salad with lots of fresh goodies-tomatoes, artichokes, olives, feta. Pizza: the deep dish was so hearty, yummy and wholesome. We tried the Kingpen (meatballs), and #18 (kind of like supreme), and they were awesome. Not too doughy or heavy and perfect bread to topping ratio. Also surprisingly not greasy at all-almost get healthy, but not bc it was so damn good. We also tried the thin crust-uptown meatdown (meat lovers-crazy Tom of meat!) and the Thunderbird (chicken, ham, bacon and a red pepper aioli-so interesting, different, and delicious). Also insider tip, you can get half/half on any pizza! Like 2 in 1 flavor bomb-hell yes!!

Bart R.

Yelp
A great place to join friends or take a date. Quality food and drinks, and with a gracious staff.

Yelp
Off the beaten central NOLA path but in the heart of uptown, Midway Pizza offers a welcome alternative to traditional area cuisine, because who doesn't love great piizza? Our group popped in for dinner before the show at nearby Gasa Gasa, and ordered a couple of large deep dish pizzas and two large salads to share. Pizza toppings were generous and salads were crisp and fresh. We decided on the Margherita and Margherita Top Shelf for our deep dish pizzas and the house and arugula salads. Pizzas are offered either from the list of special favorites or you can build your own if you prefer. They also offer various appetizers. Our group enjoyed wine by the glass from their list, beer, and mixed drinks, in addition to our meal. Service was very friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was warm and fun. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in town.

Rosemary M.

Yelp
Best deep dish pizza I've ever had in Louisiana. The salads are really delicious as well. Also, the staff has always been super accommodating and friendly.

Kim D.

Yelp
The management is the worst ever. They are so unprofessional that's why no one goes in the restaurant anymore and the food is disgusting. I got sick to my stomach off of their pizza. I would not go there.

Yelp
This little pizza shop is a fun exciting spot to stop for a beer or two with friends while enjoying a delicious pizza and watch the game. Their casual ambience and extraordinarily friendly staff make this a wonderful spot to check out. On my visit, a group of friends and I got a couple pizzas and wings, and everything was amazing!!! The cheese, toppings, and crust were everything you'd want out of a pizza! I especially enjoyed our server who was very helpful! Her name was Ariana, and she made us laugh, had a great smile, and made sure we were taken care of at all times. It's been getting more rare to find a server that has those qualities and makes it seem effortless to just be friendly. The managers were also modeling that same behavior, so I see where she gets it from. Great job Midway!

Marco S.

Yelp
Great pizza and drinks. Stayed in this neighborhood and were happy to find such a great pizza place within walking distance. We only ordered pizzas and a few apps, but everything was excellent. And service was very good. Highly Recommended. Nice chill spot.

Yelp
The lunch buffet is an easy enough way to get some bread and cheese in (come hungry), but ordering a fresh pizza has its benefits. Notably, they stop charging for toppings after the first three (they recommend you stop at eight), and they have a lot of nice toppings. I order quite a few vegetables on mine. It's a thick white bread-y crust and no one would confuse it with health food, but given how good it tastes and how many vegetables you can pile on it, I'll probably continue to drop in now and then. Also worthy of note is the polenta cake they have as an appetizer. Most pizza places, pretty much everything is all wheat-based (breadsticks, pasta, sandwiches, etc.), but a bit of corn is a nice change of pace and it comes with sauteed spinach and mushrooms and a delicious tomato cream. It's a nice location on Freret with plenty of dessert options around too, a big dining area, and an open kitchen. I also happen to like that that they offer you half price pizza during the dead hours of the afternoon (3-5), though apparently only if you eat in.
google avatar

Yelp
Get the thunderbird!! There were so many delicious-sounding menu options that I chose this pie just for the fun name...but rest assured, this pizza was amazing! I ordered for carry out and my delicious pizza was ready at exactly the time the nice man on the phone said it would be. It was hot and yummy and amazing and also reasonably priced. COVID precautions were in effect and I felt that the staff there took matters seriously which I greatly appreciate. I would visit this local pizza shop again! 10/10 stars. Also: I did not stay to eat, It looked like a great place for a casual-nice date night!
google avatar

Yelp
So glad that someone recommended this place to me. Their deep dish pizza was great! I loved all of the different toppings combinations they had and that they allowed you to build your own as well. You can get any of the flavors half and half which was great for us because we couldn't decide which we wanted to try. Bring a jacket though, it's super chilly inside!
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
Pizza was good! Cheesticks wouldve been good I think but boyyy did they cool them extra good haha. 4 stars simply for the burnt cheesesticks. Would give them another shot.

Yelp
Everyone needs to come patron this uptown gem! They know what they're doing here and they do it well. Outstanding quality and you get what you pay for and then-some. They crank out some serious pizzas here. My personal favorite was the thunderbird. It's sort of their take on a BBQ Chicken Pizza. One thing about this place is their deep dish crust. It takes about 20-25 minutes to wait for your pizza from the time you order to it being delivered at your table, but it is so worth it. The quality of the products that they use is remarkable and their care really shows. While you're waiting for your pizza, I recommend starting off with The Felix. It's their homemade meatballs and they are killer! So much flavor, with a little bit of heat from the crushed red pepper. Really well done. All in all, this is a great place to come by yourself for lunch, or bring your friends and family for dinner. What they do here is some of the best pizza and dishes in New Orleans. And they're eclectic menu has something for everybody from any walk of life with any palate. Come and enjoy! Cheers!

Yelp
Good deep dish pizza, had 1/2 king Leon and 1/2 Joehead. Picked up from store which was 3 blocks away from hotel. Plenty of ingredients, well suited for the pie they have done this before. Meatball was a stand out. Got the 14 inch pie which gave two slices each to our group of 4, total of $24. Good value, good food good experience. Highly recommended.

Yelp
As a lover of thick-crust pizza, I feel a little like a motherless child here in New Orleans where New York style rules the day. Fortunately today I found a home at Midway Pizza. I'm not from Chicago so I can't attest to the authenticity of their pizza; all I know is, I loved it. Two of us split a small half Joehead/half Thunderbird. It was just enough for lunch (leaving room for a Sno-Bliz after) and I couldn't say which one was better. The crust was perfectly baked, with just the right amount of sauce. They have a good selection of wines and beers, including my favorite Gnarley Barley. Our server was very nice and helpful, and I don't think it took the 25 minutes they warn you about for our pizza to arrive. I'll be back, a lot!

Allison R.

Yelp
Pizza was Ok. Mine had a short blonde hair on top, and I definitely did not order that. obviously couldn't continue eating so I quietly paid for my food and left. So sad.

Geoffrey F.

Yelp
Everything about this pizza is amazing. Some of the best crust we've had in New Orleans. Toppings were plentiful and fresh. This place did not disappoint. Definitely recommend getting food from here

Elena Y.

Yelp
They offer a "pizza buffet" which is not really a buffet; they have two types of pizza - meat (pepperoni, sausage) and vegetable (pepper, onion). You have to ask for each slice and the service is slow/not the most friendly. In addition, although the cheese is stringy it does have an off-taste. The bread is tasteless although the marinara sauce is okay. However, the ambiance of the place is nice.
google avatar

Yeashan R.

Yelp
While this pizza was VERY good. I wouldn't describe it as deep dish. I'd called it tall crust. I hate to agree with Chris W BUUUTTT I felt like it lacked in the sauce department. The crust is very tall and for people like my partner who a thick crust is the qualifier for a good pizza this is the place for you. If you're more of a sauce person like myself then ask for a side of marinara to dip your crust in. I feel like when I come back I'll do. I definitely come back for this buffet I've read about. I'd suggest that when you come here come for pizza with quality toppings and tasty sauce. Not the deep dish experience.

bennett d.

Yelp
Food isn't really that great, the service was terrible waited half an hour for my pizza and there was like no one else eating. And when I asked about if I could get half off on my order the waiter just had a total freak out and flipped out on my friends and I

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of the Uptown Meatdown pizza. It's a meat lover's dream pizza. I wasn't sure about having ham on the pizza, but it just works! The porky flavor adds a different note to balance the beefy flavors. The toppings just give a POW of umami flavors that make it sing! Definitely one of the best pizzas in the city that I've tried so far.

Yelp
This was my first time at Midway Pizza, and I ordered my food to-go. It was a chill atmosphere with good music. I ordered the New Orleans 10" deep dish King Leon. The King Leon has house meatballs, pepperoni, onions, Spanish mushrooms, and extra sauce. I also ordered the 6pc jumbo chicken wings. I really enjoyed the wings - they were flavorful and not too spicy. And the pizza was good, but it was a little doughier than I expected. I also wished that the onions on the pizza were cooked more.

Yelp
Decor is kind of urban hipster chic, and admittedly I haven't had anything but the pizza but it's really good. I believe I've had the pan style every time which is their thing - it's not Chicago style and it's not Pizza Hut pan pizza but a really good mashup. The crust is actually similar to Chicago style, but the fillings don't go nearly as high and don't have the sauce on top, etc. The sauce however is REALLY GOOD. The crust is done nicely, and toppings are typically generous leading to a very tasty pizza. New York people may automatically hate it because, well, that's what New York people do when they try anything other than their favorite folding crust pizza (of which there are a LOT of bad versions in NYC). Chicago people may hate it because it's not true Chicago style. But really, Midway is just plain good pizza for what it is - if you give your preconceptions a rest you'll have an enjoyable meal here, or you can now get it delivered via Uber Eats as well. Go pizza.

Yelp
Came here with a group of friends because I heard they had a pretty good happy hour. A server greeted us and asked us if we wanted a table or a seat at the bar. We chose the bar, because you can get more happy hour deals sitting at the bar. Our server was really nice and helped us with any questions we had. After hearing about the happy hour deals, we ordered the Cheesy Break Sticks, Felix Meatballs, Half King Creole and Half Thunderbird Deep Dish Pizza, and Half Don Flamenco and Half Mr. Hughes Louisiana Thin Pizza. While we waited for our food, we took advantage of the Schooner beer deal and had a great time! The Felix and Cheesy Bread Sticks came out and I knew they were delicious when I set my eyes on them. My group really enjoyed them, and we couldn't wait to try out the pizza. The Louisiana thin pizza was baked on a metal plate, while the deep dish was baked in a pan for a crustier pizza. The King Creole Pizza was made with alfredo sauce, shrimp and tomato basil relish, my friends' first impression was it tasted like shrimp alfredo on pizza. Not a bad thing, I love shrimp alfredo! The Thunderbird had roasted chicken, ham, bacon, onions and topped with a special aioli. It had loads of flavor and my group loved the combination of ingredients! The other two, Mr. Hughes and Don Flamenco were both decent choices for my group. We enjoyed our deep-dish choices a lot more. Overall, great pizza place with an awesome happy hour! I would definitely return for happy hour and to try different pizza choices!

Yelp
Excellent deep dish pizza! My faves are the baby spinach salad and the kingpin. The meatballs are amazing! The lunch special can't be beat: all you can eat pizza? Yes, please.

Yelp
Ok, being from Chicago, I'm kind of picky and opinionated about pizza wherever I am. I've tried Maine to Florida, Washington to ....ok, not there or California. Never been. Tried pizza in a lot of places. Most of it below average. Not their fault. They just never had GREAT PIZZA. People will recommend pizza, but...when you're from Oklahoma originally, I don't think you should be recommending pizza. That being said, the last couple of years, I've had Midway recommended and didn't go. My mistake. My experience was excellent!! THE FOOD: Started with the meatball app. "The Felix" "Our famous meatballs, over marinara sauce and topped with shaved parmesan cheese." VERY tasty! Might be perfect if fresh, but awesome! Next was: "The #18" "Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, spanish onions, green peppers." You know...it's a DAMN good pizza. Crust was excellent, and had good flavor. Sauce, excellent. Meats.. kind of ok. Not seasoned enough IMO. Veggies, fresh and tasty. Cheese..really good. I enjoyed it tremendously. The staff was very friendly, and I hope you check it out.
