I enjoyed my breakfast sourdough egg scramble order. It was so delicious and fresh. I ordered their small drip coffee, and it tasted so good. I really like the aesthetic of the place, and the service was phenomenal.

I love their dirty chais here. They’re almost a perfect blend of bitter to sweet and the staff are very sweet and welcoming, so I usually love coming here! Just try to avoid going during the busier hours - especially if you want to order like a bagel or something and chill n’ sit down. I waited 10 minutes for my bagel w/ cream cheese and it was a bit too toasted and quite small to be frank. Granted, they did warn me it could take that long, it can just be a little inconvenient is all, so plan accordingly. And maybe skip the bagels or don’t get them toasted. I wonder if they just have a limited amount of toasters and such but overall I still recommend it to anyone in or near the area.

My new go-to spot for morning coffee in Brooklyn. You are greeted with jazz music and vibes the second you enter. Great quality coffee, friendly and patient staff. This is the ONLY place i have found to have good coffee, beautiful interior and comfortable seating space all together.

This place just gives weird vibes and has always been my last choice in the neighborhood. Their food is okay but worse than the bodega across the street (3x more expensive, too), and their coffee is among the worst. The employees have their favorite customers, which is fine. But it feels weird when they treat these customers like family while acting like a broken kiosk to others. I'm not saying they're rude, just that if you are sensitive to customer service, you are' not going to have a good experience. It's one of those places where you need to TRY to get along with the baristas--as a customer, being nice and polite isn't enough.

Absolutely delicious for brunch! We found a seat quickly. I would recommend the Badu, wow!

Go to the deli a few doors down for a bagel. The price here is 3x the cost and look how much cream cheese they give you.

Had the chance to visit twice, on the last time I dropped my coffee and the owner was kind enough to replace it at no charge (not wanting to induce people to drop their coffees). Great food, coffee and the best service! Hope I can visit again.

The coffee was alright but the bagel and egg sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. Superb. A touch pricey but nothing crazy for NYC. Wish they had more seating in the front as the back fills up quick and the patio didn't appear to be heated. Would come again.

Beautiful, light and airy interior filled with seating nooks and a cute, simple menu behind the cashier which includes mostly breakfast sandwiches, tartines, and an assortment of seasonal pastries (those can be seen from the display case). They also have bagels with a la carte toppings and spreads + a beverage cooler with a wide array of drinks -- I got the Natalies OJ + ordered the Badu (pronounced like Erykah Badu) : egg/swiss/chipotle mayo. It is goood but could be great with way more seasoning on the egg. I would ask for a fried egg next time as it was too softly scrambled (imo) which made it all super messy. I gotten my food to go but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves // working so I loved the vibe. They open earlier and close a little later (7AM-4PM)!

Oh BK you will always have my heart! After a early morning flight and layover in NYC, my beau looked at BK places to eat and explore before heading back on the flight to go out of the country. And this blk owned coffee shop hit the spot. Community vibes are there with the lofi music to boot. I had a great latte with an even better egg sandwich with avocado. There is one community bathroom and my experience with early morning coffee drinkers in corporate did not allow me to brave it after I saw several men head there in unison lol. There is a cute little outdoor area with seats and seats inside that are sparse but a friendly face let us sit indoors after they finished their coffee and paper. I wouldn't suggest this as the place to do your WFH setting or homework etc. though some tried. It is extremely busy and crowded in bursts so you may get a strange look if you have been there since they open lol. Two lattes with oak milk, two breakfast sandwiches ran us $25 dollars which is typical NYC fare and to support the true BK vibe I won't complain.

This has been go to spot for a couple years now! I genuinely enjoy coming here almost every other day, sometimes it's to work sometimes to just kill time and hangout. The interior design and the plants have warm, welcoming feel that makes me comfortable to be there. I've never had a bad coffee, pastry, and if you wanna treat yourself get the Badu with bacon and avocado, I add my own hot sauce, artesian twist the classic BEC. The staff have always been nice and welcoming. My only complaint is it can get quite busy and line gets long, or my usual seat is taken. Other than that, no complaints. If you want a quick coffee or snack, a place to work for a bit, or a spot to hangout or read, this is it.

The vibes are high. The coffee is strong. The people are nice! Honestly, wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this new establishment in Bedstuy, but I'm not mad at it at all. They folx behind the counter are actually top notch hilarious. They keep me calm cool and collected. It can get packed very early in the morning so be mindful of when you're arriving to get your goods.

Sadly I've been one of the long time customers who supported this café when they first open in Bedstuy and we're at the first location on Malcolm X Blvd. and then they moved to a bigger spot as I noticed the baristas are not pleasant. They are rude and they make you feel unwelcome if you ask for more of some thing if you paid extra for it and they don't seem nice and it makes my encounters with them. Feel strange and I really enjoy the café, but the staff is not doing well with how they treat customers, I noticed how regulars ( customers ) come in every day,& are treated way nicer. I cannot do that because I work so I come in at my leisure or when I just want to grab a cup of coffee or Matcha and just enjoy my solitude and it really bothers me that I don't get the same service that I observe being given to others when you should be treating ALL customers WHO PAY with respect and kindness. I took away the two stars that originally gave them years ago because when they first opened, they were so kind and attentive and a good vibe. It's been depreciating and that's something that needs to be worked on. There older barista's have snobby attitudes who've been there longer one in particular.

This establishment serves ALCOHOL. I would not have chosen this spot to meet up with a friend had I known this beforehand. Even their tip jars allude to alcoholic beverages. Vibes were nice and my matcha was decent (and strong!), but won't be returning for this reason.

Beautiful cafe with a great interior design. Surprisingly a decent amount of seating and tables and a gorgeous little outdoor seating arrangement. The food was pretty good and tasted fresh. Really enjoyed the seasonal apple cider chai latte but the prices are a little high, especially for the area. Service was fine, could have been a little more attentive but nothing that bad! Great place overall.

A perfect neighborhood coffee shop. I tried the matcha when I went here a few weeks ago. It a great size for the price. Excited to try the others on the menu.

Yo I love my little neighbor coffee shop, I really do! When you walk in it's a vibe, mad open space, ethically ambiguous Brooklynites, dope service from baristas that appear to really care that it probably wouldn't be cool to add cardamom syrup to a Americano after the fact! I had thee most scrumptious blueberry muffin that tasted like my late grandma made it and a perfectly tempered cup of joe. That's $1.50 bodega cup could never! Only thing missing from my experience is let my pooch in yo. My partner and I had to tag team the greatness that is Milk & Pull because if I were to have tied my pooch up outside we would have been "pooch-less." Go here!!

Solid breakfast spot that is great to work remotely if you can find a seat. A nice location the service is nice and the establishment is clean. I just wish there was more space in the location. The beagle I had was elite. Tasted good and wasn't ridiculously expensive

This place has some of the best food in my neighborhood. They moved across the street and before I knew they did I was so heartbroken (for 30 seconds) when I thought it was closed their new location is beautiful and their cold brew is one of the few good cold brews in the city. the everything on everything bagel!!!! holy shit best bagel sandwich ever. might be best coffee shop in nyc u can't change my mind. 100000/10 #slay

Seemed like a bit of a gem in this area, but could be more! First impression came from the smell which was not as "coffee shop" as I expected, it was odd to put it easy. Cold brew was a solid. Pastry/bagel selection seemed a little sad.

This place was near my airbnb so we'd grab coffee and good on our way to the subway. Drink and food quality were great, I really enjoyed our bagel and latte. A fair amount of space and nice atmosphere.

This has quickly become my favorite neighborhood coffee shop. I've tried everything from the craft drinks, bagged coffee and pastries and it's never a miss. My favorite item from here would have to be the avocado toast. The avocado spread is chunky (which I love), well seasoned and they give you a generous amount. They do a great job of making everyone feel welcome and invited which sets a good tone for the neighborhood. Would definitely recommend

Best Latte in Bed Stuy? The barista was so incredibly kind; without me having to ask, they showed me in the cup how much simple syrup they'd be using in my drink and asked me to advise. As a painfully particular person who is never quite content with the amount of sugar in my drink - the barista taking this extra step made me overjoyed. It's the little things ! Also made spending what felt like a fortune (I think it was nearly $8) on this drink somewhat worth it. Will def come back and utilize the workspace ! Also planning to try the Almond Croissant, it looked amazing in the glass case.

Avocado Toast Avocado Toast - avocado smash, feta cheese, olive oil and red pepper chili flakes. $8.50 I love the added touch of spice. I would have liked a bit more feta (only because I love cheese) but regardless I liked the dish. Very filling. Because I'm extra I did add some of my @traderjoes "everything but the bagel sesame seasoning blend" I was torn between the Avocado Toast and the Roasted bush sandwich. This just means that I have to go back and try some more. Didn't get coffee this time. The cashier was very nice. You don't really think much of this place when you see it from outside because it doesn't have a name sign outside. It's a coffee shop but they have food. We got avocado toast and an everything on everything. Food was delicious. Coffee was delicious as well, will def come back

By my cousin's recommendation, I came here midday for some coffee and a snack. The interior is decorated nicely, and it's a comfortable, chill environment to get some work done. I got the latte and the roasted bush bagel - both were great! If you're looking to get a bagel here, I'd highly recommend this one. It contains turkey, tomato, avocado, and onions sandwiched between a bagel that is fluffy and soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The chipotle mayo sauce ties everything together and hits the perfect amount of spice. Great experience overall and will be back here whenever I'm in the area!

One of my go to spots! Great place to hang out and/or get some work done. They also have an outdoor area in the back in case it's tough to find a seat inside.

Really needed a flat white with an extra shot(place where I was brunching didn't serve coffee). Stepped in to the most welcoming, wonderfully smelling and clean coffee spot. Julia made my drink perfectly. Makes me want to live in Brooklyn, but back to MD I will be heading. Visit this place, they are exceptional.

I love the menu at Milk + Pull. In addition to your typical coffee and espresso options, they have some deliciously creative breakfast sandwiches and bagels. My favorite is the "everything on everything". Doesn't get any better than that. An everything bagel PLUS avocado, red onion, cream cheese and tomato? Yes please! Shout out to Milk + Pull. Shout out to black-owned businesses. A beautiful, open store and clean space. Very nice change of pace from other coffee spots in Bedstuy. Can't wait to go back

I asked for a dirty chi. As the barista said "Three times a charm." But it wasn't. $8.00 coffee and I didn't get what I asked for. I asked for very lite ice. One person took my order and put light ice. The person who made the coffee added more ice forgot the, Shot and the cinnamon. She made it again and poured way too much cinnamon! She just didn't care about what I wanted. When I told her it was to much cinnamon she said that's the way they make them! She eventually gave me a cup not filled to the top‍‍! She rushed from behind the counter to sit with someone. Kicking it was more important than service. On the way out I told her "it still isn't $8.00 dollars worth of coffee. She said, "well don't come back." I replied I won't! Short, very short hair Asian girl. Didn't get her name because she wasn't the friendliest! Now your place of business has a one stars because of you! Great job ! Keep running customers off with your service!

I love this Milk & Pull location specifically. For me personally, all cafes are more or less the same but what really differentiates them is the staff. And I swear they have the kindest staff working here. Every time I've been here (either for pick up or to work), everyone has been super friendly. I usually order a matcha latte, but recently I ordered a chai tea latte. I asked for it to be unsweetened but apparently the chai mix came pre sweetened. I can't have sugar so when I told the barista she was super kind and replaced my latte with a matcha latte. And there have also been times when I'm working there and the owner just gives me free bagels that have been left at the end of the day--so kind Anyway I highly recommend this cafe! Also has reliable wifi and seating if you're looking to work here as well

Cute little find in Bed Stuy :) I was looking for a cafe to work in for a few hours with good food and matcha oat latte. This place hit the spot with their amazing avocado lox toast and matcha oat latte. It's good energy, clean, the music isn't too loud and it helped me focus to get my work done for today. I'll be back :)

Matcha coffee with oatmilk was really good. Had to add a half of raw sugar though which I normally don't do. The Goat was really good. Nice blend of tastes on my palate.

Second-rate croissant. Lots of mist in the air from boiling bagels and presumably baking them, but no bagels inside! We found this perplexing. My wife really wanted a bagel, and fell into something of an argument with the person at the counter, who professed not to understand what it meant to put butter on a bagel. Nice atmosphere in the shop, and the first morning when we went there, the counter person was lovely and friendly. The little outdoor dining area behind the shop was quite pleasant. We just could not understand a place that advertised bagels that didn't show any, and did not seem to want to sell them! Quite a mystery.

I will not tell a lie, I originally came only for a charge, as I perused the streets of Bedstuy and ran out of juice in my phone. Got some coffee as my machines got refilled with Milk & Pull's electricity and I was also able to surf the 'net courtesy. Barista was cool, vibe is hip (I won't add a "ster" lol). I'll definitely be back. The End.

Solid cup of coffee, nice baristas, and a cool vibe. Definitely a good place to stop by if you're in the area.

The avocado toast is amazing! Great service and vibe. A little noisy environment to get work done, but I great place to stop in and get a quick bite and drink.

Be prepared to not have a seat. Laptops are only allowed at about four tables. Other than that most tables are conversation only. You'll be asked to leave the coffee shop if you use your laptop at a conversation-only table.

This is a review of the new location near the Utica station. Drinks and food are the same, but the price hike to compensate for the new location is egregious. The "Roasted Bush" was $9.50, it's now $12. They charge $5 for turkey vs. $2 (and it's the same measly amount), $7 vs. $5 drinks, and so on. The space is nice, but the staff is not. Again, they boast Black-owned business, but there were only white baristas when I went, and the one who helped me was rude. Just a big disappointment.

Relaxing spacious cafe with delicious cappucino & latte! Staff was also very friendly! Sat here for 10 minutes and it was very relaxing. Loved the hip hop r&b music they played here.

So I'm renting in the neighborhood and find a black-owned coffee shop nearby. I'm always excited to keep the dollars circulating in our community, so I walk to milk & pull. Much to my surprise, of the 6 employees present, all were white except for one which might have been Hispanic/possibly white. To be in the heart of Bedstuy where the majority of ppl I see are black, it's ridiculous that the business in that neighborhood didn't reflect that. It's also highly insulting that they are benefiting from these black-owned lists and markers that right now are bringing more business. To understand why the label of being black-owned is so important (fighting marginalization, increasing visibility, creating jobs and not just opportunities to be consumers, circulating the dollar within the community), is to understand the importance of what that means for black ppl being employed in their own neighborhoods. Not sure if this is the only location like this, but if you're looking to support a black-owned coffee shop that practices what comes with being a black-owned anything, this is not the place.

slowest coffee you'll ever have, 30 minutes for an espresso shot. No sense of urgency, anytime I decide to go here instead of make myself a coffee or go to another spot, I'm late for work.

Being completely upfront I love coffee shops, and you have to do a lot wrong for me to dislike your cafe. As long as the pastries are stocked and the caffeine's flowing I'll be having a good time. A banging playlist, patient barista and one froth filled cappuccino later and I'm on cloud nine. Milk & Pull was all the above. The environment was very work friendly which is always a win in my book, major bonus points for the quick wifi. The large glass windows let a flood of light spill into the space which wakes up your mood almost as much as the coffee. There was a plentiful amount of seating and my drink was made to perfection. I highly suggest this spot if you enjoy people watching, coffee shops that don't shame you for nesting in the corner, and hipster dominant crowds.

Milk & Pull has become a staple in my life due to covid. Ordering online is super easy and they have alternative milks for those of us that are sensitive to the cow-sourced stuff. They've recently reopened their food service menu and they also have pastries available. I've yet to order a bagel but the pecan and cinnamon rolls never disappoint. My typical order of a mocha with oat milk is consistently good. When you order online and tell them you have an order for pickup, they make your drink on the spot so it's served fresh, which is a plus for me.

Good coffee and chai latte. Spacious for working on laptop but the only con here is that they dont really have alot of sockets for charging. Only one in the corners as far as I can find in the cafe. Very quiet as people are polite enough. Cafe has newspapers from The New York Times. Clean restroom. Coffee and tea is about $3-4.

The service was just fine and the staff is pleasant, but it was $8 for an acceptable latte with no seating (people come here with laptops and camp out, so good luck finding a spot). This isn't Chelsea: get a grip on the pricing.

Been really excited to try this cafe. I got a different drink than I ordered and when I told the barista, she seemed really annoyed and inconvenienced that I would have even brought it up. I was really nice about it and even offered to keep it. She kept arguing with me so I left with the wrong drink because I felt so uncomfortable. Sadly I won't be returning.

This specific location is primarily white employees, which was already disappointing and off-putting, without even acknowledging specifically their rude and condescending attitudes. The drinks were good, but the vibes were bad. I've been multiple times hoping to have a positive experience, but it seems like a bad attitude is a requirement to work here.

Really nice vibes in the area - good coffee and chai. Egg salad sandwich also very good and filling. Not much of a sign so look out for it. Lots of pastries and clean bathroom. Condoms in bathroom which I thought was unique.

I don't like this coffee shop. I've tried multiple drinks and they're all subpar and overpriced. There are no outlets in the entire place....like that's a pretty important staple of a coffee shop. It feels like they're encouraging people to get a drink and get out. All the baristas are weird too. Don't recommend.

Eh, not great. The coffee I got was really burnt and bitter, same with my friend's cappuccino.... We ended up taking the drinks back to the apartment and adding so much sugar and cream to kinda choke them down. The decor is nice, wifi works, but if I can't drink the coffee from a coffee shop, I won't be back.

Black coffee. No cream, no sugar, just black coffee. They have a good drip black coffee. I think it's single origin. Ethiopian is my favorite, it's very floral, this is Ethiopian because it ain't in season yet...that's after September. Anyway, the drip coffee is good, the iced coffees are good too. I've tried the avocado toast and it's damn good. Go here.

Been here a couple of times to get drip coffee. Quality is inconsistent... often times it's good, but today it tastes burnt and has a rotten smell .. Staff isn't friendly but I don't really blame them
