The place was very busy, but we called ahead and got seated fairly quickly. I recommend doing the same or joining the Yelp waitlist in advance. Service was fast and the servers were SUPER friendly so I really appreciated that, and we got our food quickly, but unfortunately, everything went downhill from there.
I ordered the Matcha Latte, and my boyfriend got the Pistachio Latte. Right off the bat, the Matcha was completely tasteless. It had no creaminess, a grainy texture, and even the color looked off. The Pistachio Latte, which was labeled as a "special," tasted artificial and syrupy. It was too sweet and no flavor of pistachio at all. It was bland, and after just two sips, we gave up. We really tried to power through it, but it was undrinkable.
The food presentation was beautiful. Definitely Instagram-worthy, but it didn't live up to the visual appeal. I got the Eleanor R. Special with steak. While I expected rosemary on the potatoes, it was way too overpowering. The flavor completely masked everything else, and the aftertaste lingered for a long time. The portion size of the potatoes was generous, which I normally appreciate, but I couldn't eat them because of how strong the rosemary was. My boyfriend got the Meat Lover's Omelette and he's the type to eat anything because he paid for the food so he'll eat the food the matter what. This time, he only ate half because again, no flavor. Everything was just lacking.
Overall, we won't be coming back. We spent $65 on food that looked great but tasted bland and disappointing. Not worth the hype. We feel like the place is just trying to push out customers so they can accommodate more instead of focusing on the product they're pushing out. Giving out two stars because of servers presentation.
