Millie's Cafe - Review - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"It only takes a few Zoom Happy Hours with friends to realize that quarantine hangovers are a very real thing. And when that happens, be sure to call Millie’s. Though their Silver Lake location is temporarily closed, the Pasadena location is available for takeout from 8am-3pm and delivery from 11:30am-7pm. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Wow, the Heavenly Hash was game changing. The herbs they used for this, the texture and consistency, the ratio of meat to potatoes - everything in this dish was awesome! Keep up the great flavors, wonderful service, and innovative take on breakfast! This was awesome and will love to try it again soon!

Milie’s Cafe has so many options, from vegan to regular and gluten-free! I ordered the Devil’s Mess and it was packed with bold, delicious flavors. My hubby got The Usual with gluten-free pancakes and they were 🔥. We also loved their fresh, homemade orange juice, and the Blue Majik latte was a refreshing and tasty surprise. Highly recommend for a flavorful and inclusive brunch spot!

One of them local joints with good coffee and brunch Enjoyed my blue magik latte and how quickly we sat at 930am. As soon as it hit 10am it was a line. Too bad they dont serve hash browns on weekends but considering hiw busy they are i understand. Wil be back on a weekday for Sure. Food came out shockingly quick and even our coffee drinks. Wife did think thr food was luke warm when served though so thay was a little disappointing Overall, very good and happy service made the food and drinks taste very good

Stopped by on a Tuesday, around 12:30 p.m. and there was no wait. Service was prompt and friendly. I tried the iced coffee, black, and I really enjoyed it. I had the BLT sandwich with fries and it was delicious (pictured). My friend had the fried chicken strips with fries and she liked them.

Popular neighborhood restaurant with a terrific breakfast menu. There is a HUGE Vegan menu with some many options. I had the 'Vegan Usuals' with Blueberry pancakes and really enjoyed it. The service was attentive. Be prepared for long wait times.

Everything hit the spot. The club sandwich was solid — toasted just right, bacon crispy, and the fries were golden and crunchy. Nothing fancy, just done right. The chilaquiles with carne asada were fire. Chips had a good bite, meat was tender, and the beans and sour cream tied it all together. Super flavorful. The chicken and waffles were on point too — crispy chicken with fluffy waffles, topped with fresh fruit and powdered sugar. Syrup brought it all together — sweet and savory combo nailed. The eggs benedict? Perfectly poached eggs, creamy hollandaise, and thick bacon on a toasted muffin. The potatoes on the side were seasoned well and cooked just right. And those lattes? Super smooth, each with its own vibe — matcha, pistachio, lavender, and a regular one. They looked good and tasted even better. Overall, this place didn’t miss. I would come to San Bernardino just to eat here. I’m from the bay and I miss this place already. Pricey but worth it.

I didn't know this restaurant had been here since 1926 so next year is 100 years in business! 1926-2026 It's nice to have men servers and very attentive too. The food was really good and on Saturday morning it was busy but no one seemed impatient. Parking is minimal but you can try across the street. Eating is indoor or outdoor with umbrella coverage outside. Two bathrooms in the back of the inside dining area, are large and ADA compliant.

Got here when it opened at 8 AM. It's really easy to find  parking & parking is free which is plus! I ordered the country fried steak, which I do not recommend. I arrived here at 8 AM when the establishment opened. It was quite convenient to find a parking spot, and I was pleased to discover that parking is complimentary. I decided to order the country-fried steak, but I regret to say that I can not recommend it. It was hard to cut, and just the smell of it was very unpleasant. It comes if you want hashbrowns or potatoes. I chose the potatoes and it didn't have a bad smell to it, but just the taste of it. The oil itself just tasted like pork oil, and when it comes to pork, I am very picky. I never complained about my food, but this was probably one of the worst country fried steaks I ever tried. Thankfully, the waitress was very kind. She bought her manager and they were able to change my order which I was very happy and I felt really bad but I wasn't going to be eat something that didn't smell good & taste bad. They were very polite and kind to me when I asked them to change my order. I hope that they did not add anything unwanted to the new food that i ordered, as I have heard negative experiences from other places where staff became upset when customers did not like the food. I am keeping my fingers crossed that nothing like that happened in this case. I respectfully changed my order to the B.E.L.T sandwich, which was delicious. And they were just super kind & and respectful. 10/10 to the B.E.L.T sandwich!!!

Yelp
Millie's is one of the best breakfast spots in the Pasadena area. (And their location on Sunset Blvd. is just as good!) I go a little out of my way just to start my day at Millie's every so often. Service is friendly and on point. Their shirts may say "Service with a f**k you!" on them, and I don't particularly get that gimmick, but they don't treat their customers like that. Thank goodness. I usually order the veggie mess: scrambled eggs with cheese and a great mix of veggies (if memory serves, there is squash, bell pepper, spinach and corn in the mix, and I ask them to add some jalapeños to bring a little heat). The whole "mess" is topped with pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. The breakfast comes with rosemary potatoes and toast, but I like to sub fruit instead of the potatoes. Unfortunately, there's an extra charge for subbing in fruit, and also a charge to sub in egg whites. This adds up to a pretty expensive proposition. They make a good cup of coffee and they're happy to refill it as you eat. The only time I got something I didn't like at Millie's is when I tried their Matcha Bowl. Think of something like an açaí bowl, but instead it's matcha blended with bananas, dates, pineapple, avocado and almond milk. Like an açaí bowl, it has fruit and granola toppings. It wasn't bad per se, just not at all to my taste. If it sounds good to you, try it and see what you think. Overall, I recommend Millie's for their great service and quality breakfast food. They have a large menu, including a vegan menu with plenty of great choices for those who don't want meat or dairy. This place is a winner!

Yelp
i was major craving some pancakes and this did the job! the brunch was so filling and worth the price. the sausages were so delicious, the hash brown was made to perfection, and the pancakes were so soft and fluffy. my matcha lavender lemonade was so refreshing! i came with my cousin and friends so we all had such a blast. we sat outside but there was plenty of seating everywhere. i loved the vibes and the food! would definitely come again.

Yelp
I can't believe I didn't hear of Millie's sooner. I grabbed brunch with my friends here and the entire experience couldn't have been better. It was packed with a 20 minute queue to be seated but once seated service was incredibly fast, starting from order through bill. I tried a buckwheat pancake and got the vegan BLT with sweet potato fries. The buckwheat pancake was amazing: light and not sweet at all. I'd never tried bacon tempeh but I'm a fan now. The sandwich spread was the perfect flavor combo to the tempeh/lettuce/tomato. With the fries as the perfect complement, the meal totally hit the spot. Staff were friendly and helpful. I really liked the cafe location and vibe as well. Prices were very fair for the portions served. And, it was amazing to have a separate vegan menu with enough options that it made choosing hard. I'll def be a regular here and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Yelp
I was visiting from out of town and Millie's was within walking distance from where I was staying. I looked up the menu before I went, which I highly recommend because their menu is extensive! The lemon ricotta pancakes caught my eye, and they were the star of my breakfast plate. I ordered the Usual Breakfast, which in itself was good meal, with the chicken apple sausage, scrambled eggs, and hash browns. Very large meal for me, but I ate most of it. The food was good enough that I'd go back... maybe even get those pancakes again! Even midweek, they were busy. Service was nothing spectacular, but it was efficient. It was very noisy indoors, so the outdoor seating on the street was good enough for me. It felt a little like being in a Parisian street café. If you're not big on close company with your neighbors though, I'd sit indoors. In all, not a bad experience from an out-of-towner.

Yelp
Great food! Have had breakfast here a few times. Hearty portions are served. When in the area, this is a to. Enjoyed the two egg breakfast, rosemary potatoes with bacon and homemade biscuit. Husband had the chicken chimichurri sandwich which he said was delicious and flavorful.

Yelp
Senior citizen reporting: I love this place. The food is good. The service is good. Parking is in a lot adjacent to the restaurant or street parking which could be a little difficult at times.

Yelp
Had a great midweek brunch here. The service was super quick and on point. We even loved their shirts haha! Go there to check them out. We ordered the Blue Majik Lattes which were picture perfect AND tasty! Then we ordered an egg dish and the bagel and lox dish. We ate everything: it was fresh filling. My only comment is that I would have liked the cream cheese to be on the side fresh, instead of from a packet. The seating was plain and clean. We were seated outside due to the inside being full, but luckily it was shady. And the restrooms were clean as well. Great little brunch overall.

Yelp
We ordered the breakfast burrito and the "vegan" breakfast combo. Our food was delicious, but I think our server may have mistaken my order. I wasn't sure if my sausage was vegan or not, and I ended up eating a real one accidentally...mind I've been a vegetarian for about 10 years, and I'm still weighing heavy about this situation. We came the next day to reorder it again, and the sausage was completely different than our first time. If you're dining here please reiterate vegan option, and make sure your food is correct. I always hesitate to eat at restaurants that serve regular and vegan food, but the reviews here were quite positive for the most part. There's plenty of seating outside and inside. I would suggest booking a reservation to ensure you are seated right away.

Yelp
There is always wait here on the weekends. But the line does move pretty fast and they have an open waitlist on Yelp. Once you are seated and ordered the food comes very fast. Everyone has a job, everyone is helping each other out. They are fast and efficient. You can tell this is a well-oiled machine. Their food is also very good! My favorite was their biscuits and gravy. It is soooooo delicious and decadent. The gravy is flavorful and the biscuits are light and fluffy. Definitely a must when you eat here!

Yelp
This cafe is usually pretty busy so take that into account. There's options for indoor and outdoor seating. The service has always been great and fast. The atmosphere is quite energetic but you can still have conversations with others. I got the blueberry French toast combo this time. Overall no complaints. The breakfast potatoes are always a delight. The beacon has the right amount of chrispiness and saltiness. The portions are enough to get full or take home leftovers. The only downside is probably the parking being limited. But there's other locations you can still go if the lot is full.

Yelp
I had to write a review so that I would remember exactly what I ordered since it was the perfect combo. We came on a Monday and there was no wait... win! My perfect breakfast here: - date and cardamom latte - Maynard's special with the house potato's and a substitute of the ricotta pancake instead of biscuit/ toast (add $2.50) It was perfect... little bit of healthy and a little bit of sweet. The lemon ricotta pancake was soft and fluffy and you could see the lemon zest in the batter. Delicious! Ambience is casual and friendly. We usually find street parking pretty easily. The hubby likes their breakfast burritos. Love it!

Yelp
The place was very busy, but we called ahead and got seated fairly quickly. I recommend doing the same or joining the Yelp waitlist in advance. Service was fast and the servers were SUPER friendly so I really appreciated that, and we got our food quickly, but unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. I ordered the Matcha Latte, and my boyfriend got the Pistachio Latte. Right off the bat, the Matcha was completely tasteless. It had no creaminess, a grainy texture, and even the color looked off. The Pistachio Latte, which was labeled as a "special," tasted artificial and syrupy. It was too sweet and no flavor of pistachio at all. It was bland, and after just two sips, we gave up. We really tried to power through it, but it was undrinkable. The food presentation was beautiful. Definitely Instagram-worthy, but it didn't live up to the visual appeal. I got the Eleanor R. Special with steak. While I expected rosemary on the potatoes, it was way too overpowering. The flavor completely masked everything else, and the aftertaste lingered for a long time. The portion size of the potatoes was generous, which I normally appreciate, but I couldn't eat them because of how strong the rosemary was. My boyfriend got the Meat Lover's Omelette and he's the type to eat anything because he paid for the food so he'll eat the food the matter what. This time, he only ate half because again, no flavor. Everything was just lacking. Overall, we won't be coming back. We spent $65 on food that looked great but tasted bland and disappointing. Not worth the hype. We feel like the place is just trying to push out customers so they can accommodate more instead of focusing on the product they're pushing out. Giving out two stars because of servers presentation.

Yelp
Was searching for a yummy, pleasant brunch spot in the mid-afternoon on MLK Day and found Millie's. It absolutely delivered!!! We arrived late in the 1pm hour and were sat immediately. The inside was still bustling, the outside tables were starting to be put away. Our waitress was very kind and attentive! We ordered the chilaquiles benedict, which was the main thing that caught my eye when I initially looked this place up--I loooove an eggs benedict, and my partner is gluten free. This gluten free creation was fantastic!! I would come back just for this dish. He added mixed veggies to it, which I initially thought might be weird but was soon corrected. The hollandaise and salsa verde come together in a unique and tasty way. I got the corned beef benedict, add avocado--was hoping for a crab cake benedict but was informed they recently took it off the menu. That very quickly stopped mattering, though, because the corned beef benedict was BOMB. Perfect yolk pop, crispy corned beef, creamy avocado and delicious potatoes. The only thing I would've wanted was a tiny bit more hollandaise, but I could also just be a fiend. We also tried a gluten free chocolate chip pancake, which was good. Nothing special, nothing bad. Pretty decent. Likely wouldn't get it again. For drinks, we got a lavender matcha lemonade (super bomb, delicious matcha and not too floral!) and a decaf cappuccino (a little disappointing, kind of bitter and sour.) All in all, quite a pleasant dining experience. They even have their own parking lot. I'd absolutely come back again for that chilaquiles benedict, but if the line were too long (as I know it can get) I might look elsewhere.

Yelp
Such a great brunch spot in Pasadena! We ordered the chilaquiles and country fried steak both were hearty, flavorful, and hit the spot. The chilaquiles had the perfect kick and texture, and the country fried steak was super crispy and comforting. The place has a cozy, casual vibe with friendly service that made us feel right at home. It does get busy, so expect a bit of a wait, but totally worth it. Can't wait to come back and try more!

Yelp
Had a really positive experience at Millie's this morning. I love that you can join the waitlist on Yelp, which makes it convenient to check in and know how long the wait is. Additionally, there is plenty of seating and the customer service was amazing. Everyone was very attentive to our needs and knowledgeable about the menu. I ended up ordering a pistachio Matcha latte and it was so delicious will be back for the drink alone . I also tried the chilaquiles omelette very unique, but I really loved it too. Chilaquiles were flavorful and crispy. There were so many people, but we were astonished at how quick our food came out and how good it was definitely coming back here to try different menu items . Quick service, fair prices, and extensive menu. Would recommend :)

Yelp
This place has been on my list of places to try and I finally was able to go out for brunch in so long! We went on a Sunday late morning and of course I had to put name down the waitlist. Surprisingly, it was a quick wait and we were seated right away. This little cafe was on a corner and had seating outside along the restaurant which is nice. We ordered the chicken fried steak and that was good too! But I ordered the chilaquiles eggs benedict and that dish was very filling and delicious! I definitely was starving and surprised it finished majority of it! I'd definitely like come back to try other dishes!
google avatar

Yelp
The food is GREAT! I love how they have interesting and different options like pistachio coffee and Irish Benedict. The service is always awesome too. Very friendly staff. The are usually pretty busy on holidays and weekends but that is everywhere that services good brunch. But still comes out pretty quickly after you order
google avatar

Ken L.

Yelp
I love this place mainly because of the rosemary potatoes and the big menu. Unfortunately it's really chaotic so it's hard to come and enjoy your meal. On weekends there's a big queue but the Yelp waitlist is really great. What I hate the most is the aggressive staff. Almost every-time I'm here I almost collide with them because there are frantically running around. I hate that the second you finish eating they instantly grab your plate. They give you your check in the middle of the meal. Today I came after Yoga class. My left hut was hurting so I'm moving slowly. I walked up to check in to be seated. Other aggressive guests stepped in front it me to talk to the hostess so I stood there. I got seated outside after dodging staff and guest. I ordered the Elenor Special and an iced coffee. The food and ice coffee came out quickly. I tried to enjoy but staff kept coming up. One came and grabbed a chair without asking. As I as done eating, I found a long white hair nestled in my rosemary potatoes. I looked around and no staff but I had two bites left so whatever. Oh the potatoes were totally undercooked. I looked around to get a sever but they were nowhere to be seen. I also had to flag someone down to get a refill. The second I finished my last bite, out of nowhere a staff appeared and grabbed my plate. I paid and had to use the bathroom. That's another problem. There's oh 2 single bathrooms. There were 3 people waiting ahead. When it was my turn, the second I got in and sat down someone was knocking. I had to shout "occupied". They kept knocked so I didn't finish and left. On my way out, I got stuff behind a staff pushing a cart of water and a few other staff and guests trying to get seated. So sure I like this place but today it was a fail especially with a painful hip.

Yelp
I was very happy with everything while I was there with my family. We didn't wait long and they did offer us to sit outside but we were inside the restaurant and it was nice and clean. The food was really good, didn't have to wait for our waitress to take our order and didn't have to wait long either.

Yelp
If you're looking for Millie's, it's that corner spot with outdoor seating and every table is occupied. And for good reason. I've passed by this place hundreds of times, but never bothered going in, regretfully. Decided to finally to pull the trigger for some late breakfast and it was absolutely worth it. Millie's closes down after lunch and doesn't open for dinner. But, the menu is huge, the servings are plentiful, and you'll probably have to skip dinner after your meal. It'll take a while to pick something if you're a first timer for sure. The beverage menu is just as large. Some things will sound familiar, but others will make you want to ask the waitstaff for some advice. I was hungry and settled on the following: - Devil's Mess - 8/10: Eggs scrambled in with Cajun turkey sausage and topped with some pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. Comes with your choice of toast and potatoes. I really liked this dish. I'd describe it as a Mexican omelette with a little bit of Cajun flavor. My only complaint is that I wished they had crisped up the hash browns a little more. Tasted a tad undercooked. - Belgian waffle - 8/10: Thick, spongy and delicious, as a good Belgian waffle should be. - Golden Matcha Latte - 8/10: a nice blend of turmeric, ginger and 2 percent. Nice and foamy, with flavors that weren't too overpowering. This is a solidly crafted beverage that goes down quite easily. Bill was pricey as expected, but you're really paying for quality food. And don't let the line fool you; there's a lot of room inside and outside, so you won't be waiting too long. This, along with great food, a large menu, and helpful waitstaff will make me come back again for sure.
google avatar

Hannah L.

Yelp
Bomb food, mid drinks. Service was friendly and fast. No wait in the morning on a weekday. Was easy to find free street parking across the block. - Green Eye $7.50: Espresso, 2% Milk & Matcha. - SO didn't quite like. - Blueberry Oat Matcha Latte $8.50: Blueberry puree, blue spirulina, organic matcha and oat milk. - cool looking drink, but lacked in flavor - Chilaquiles Benedict $19.50 Barbacoa style beef, over a stack of ranchero sauced tortillas and melted cheese. Topped with two poached medium eggs, green chili salsa,... - bomb diggety and large portion. Would get again. - Chicken Chimichurri Sandwich $16.99 Grilled chicken breast with panela cheese, arugula, pickled onions, chimichurri sauce, and mayo; all on ciabatta bread. Sweet Potato Fries were bomb. I would get this again.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to have a diner style weekend breakfast or brunch. All the vegan dishes Ive tried have been delicious, and their vegan chocolate shake is the best in LA hands down. I love the wait staff and the owner is always nice. The wait times can get long so definitely join on yelp before you arrive.
google avatar

Grace G.

Yelp
Though the wait staff is incredibly courteous and provides excellent service, the prices are outrageous. Avocado toast used to be somewhat reasonable and now for a single slice of toast with some avocado, one cherry tomato and some pickled onion, including a tip, the total closes in on $20. God forbid I want to add an egg, then I need to add another four dollars to that.

Yelp
Breakfast in Pasadena, California... Dining with Yelp friends is always fun! The environment, service, and food makes a get together so much more fun! Somehow, we ended up at Millie's Cafe which had a free parking lot around the building! We went early to avoid the crowd and get a table large enough for our group! Service was cheerful and efficient! We didn't feel rushed, even though a bunch of people were waiting to be seated. We hurried through our meal and exchanged gifts amongst ourselves! I had the "Better Than Mom's Oatmeal" because I wanted to eat healthy after having so many meals with different friends! My bowl was colorful, delicious, filling, and perfect! I'd return again! The names of menu items were amusing and clever! Note: We sure appreciated the convenient restroom! Driving in Los Angeles takes a while because of the distance and traffic!

Navid K.

Yelp
I love that it is such an open spot with outdoor seating. For the food, I got the Famous breakfast burrito. It was as good as other breakfast burritos I've had in the past. The strawberry banana with Nutella French toast was a little disappointing. The bread felt like I was chewing on dough and it was not well made. Overall, I would definitely try this place again and would recommend it to my friends. Pros: -Great customer service. They always check up on us and were very quick. -Great Ambiance and location Cons: -Food is not unique and it looked like it was rushed. But I will definitely come back and try again. Maybe I caught them on a bad day.

Yelp
My friend and I came here today, and while the food was good, the service fell a little flat. We put our names on the waitlist from Yelp, and when we got there, we're already being called to seat, which was nice. However, after we did, many servers passed us and didn't acknowledge us. It took a while to be addressed.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best Matcha Latte's I've had. The darker the matcha, the better. Not too sweet which was perfect for me. The lavender gave it a perfect balance. Would come back just for the matcha. Food was great as well. Quick service very busy

Yelp
Millie's is the most perfect post-hike, weekend cafe I've ever been to! I absolutely adored eating here with my girlfriends and highly recommend stopping by for your next brunch date! For starters, their extensive drink menu was just wonderful! There were so many fun and different kinds of teas and lattes, surely to meet any taste you might have! I got a lavender latte which was perfectly balanced between floral and espresso, couldn't have asked for more. I ordered the Devil's Mess, which is a three egg scramble normally featuring cajun-spiced turkey sausage (I subbed with chorizo) and white cheddar cheese. For toppings, the plate comes with fresh salsa, guacamole & sour cream. The flavors were just so on point and complimented each other so well! All of us girlies enjoyed our meals and I will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
My coworkers and I decided to have breakfast last weekend and we decided to come to Millie's café. They've all been there except for me and now I'm kicking myself because it's taking me so long to try this place. It's been on my bookmarks, but never got to try it until last week. I ordered their Devil's Mess, and let me tell you... It was delicious! It's like a scrambled with scrambled eggs, their Cajun spiced turkey, sausage, cheese, and fresh salsa, guacamole, and sour cream served with their rosemary potatoes, and homemade biscuit. The potatoes and biscuit were so good. I'm usually a sourdough bread type of person with breakfast... But this biscuit and potatoes, I was still thinking about them. I also got their pistachio latte, it was so good. Definitely full of pistachio flavor. So this week, when my friend asked me where I wanted to go for breakfast, I came back to Millie's. This time I ordered a meat lovers omelette so I could share some with my dog Peanut. It definitely had a lot of meat. This time I had their house coffee, and it was also really good. Both times we came, there was a long waits. To avoid the lines... you should definitely check in on Yelp to get on their waitlist because it will definitely cut down on the time. Both times we sat outside and enjoyed the mountain views with our breakfast. I also love that that they are dog friendly (one of the servers offered peanut a little bit of bacon and brought her water) and their service is great. Can't wait to go back... Never know, maybe we'll go back again for the third week in a row!
google avatar

Jasmin P.

Yelp
Arrived and the place was super busy, glad they had a waitlist on Yelp. That definitely helped! Ordered the chilaquiles which were the perfect spice for my taste. I didn't end up getting a drink but the coffee choices looked delicious, will have to come back and try it. There' is plenty of seating with some outside but it was very crowded. The waiters were quick and our food came fast so that was a plus!

Yelp
What's better than a Sunday morning hike? Of course, a post-hike brunch! Apparently, all of Pasadena agrees because the line to just about every brunch spot in town was 45-60 minutes long at 10am on a Sunday, including at Millie's Cafe. I really appreciated that they use Yelp's check-in system, since it makes it easy to check our ETA and walk around other shops while waiting for our turn. The service is friendly even when they're extremely busy. Do note that they don't serve hash browns on weekends, which I found to be an interesting choice - maybe it's just because I'm a hash brown lover, but I found their house potatoes to be pretty underwhelming in comparison. The chocolate chip pancakes, however, really hit the spot, and the portion was more than fair even ordering just a "short" stack rather than a full order. My friend ordered the Chicken and Waffle benedict, and said that while the Chicken and Waffles were delicious, the flavor combo with the hollandaise sauce was a little too overwhelming. They'd rather just order Chicken and Waffles...or a benedict, rather than the two combined. All in all, would definitely come back - but maybe on a weekday!

Yelp
Decided to try Millie's today and was satisfied. I much preferred the Irish Benedict to the pork belly Benedict and the monkey banana pancakes were good. It's a good brunch spot in the area and I'd come back to try more! The service was fast on a Monday afternoon and plenty of seating.

Yelp
Millie's is ! Trust me it's worth the wait. If you plan it right, get in line on Yelp, go there close to the time you are expected to be called, chat with friends or family while you wait for Your table its lovely. The food is fresh, they get your order and bring it out fresh and hot! I have had just about everything on the menu and have no complaints! The biscuits are my favorite with any scramble!

Yelp
Millie's is hands down the best breakfast spot around. Everything on the menu is amazing, but we're especially hooked on the Slutty Bun, Greek omelette, and vegan biscuits and gravy (seriously, just try them!). They are also very dog friendly, so it's a great spot to bring our pooches and enjoy the large outdoor seating area. We've also always had great service here, but today's experience went above and beyond. I wasn't super hungry, so I only ate a little of my breakfast and was excited to take the rest home. Unfortunately, the guests at the next table bumped into ours as they were sliding into their seats, and my go-box ended up crashing to the floor. They weren't exactly apologetic, so I decided to let it go and not make a big deal. I did mention it to the hostess on my way out, and she immediately brought over the manager. Without hesitation, he offered to remake my meal to-go. I was really impressed by how kindly and professionally they handled the whole situation. It's just another reason Millie's has a customer for life. Thanks so much!

Yelp
Millie's has more vegan breakfast options than most fully vegan restaurants have! This place is the best! There's something for everyone. And the service is so fast it's mind boggling. Just make sure you join the online waitlist before you go, if you don't want to have to wait for an hour-plus for a table.

Yelp
I order the vegan breakfast plate with 2 vegan pancakes, vegan eggs, potatoes and vegan sausage. To say the least, I ended up getting food poisoning after eating this breakfast... I have been vegan for 7 years and I believe my meal was not vegan as I asked for it to be. I will not be eating here again!

Yelp
Front of the house gets a 5 star, but the kitchen gets a 3.5 The food was alright but the servers and staff were really nice and took care of us. I will say however, the vegan pancakes had an odd texture...Almost powdery in a way. The hashbrowns could have been fresher and the rosemary potatoes were missing that umami flavor. The just egg, tofu scramble and vegan sausages/chorizo were made well. Overall I appreciated the full range vegan menu and enjoyed eating breakfast here.

Yelp
It's Sunday morning Millie's is packed. People lined up on the sidewalk. My daughter tells me this plate is great but we're number 11 on the list. Yikes! It's not large but not small. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating. So we wait. About 30 minutes later we get seated inside. It crazy noisy so it's nearly impossible to hold a conversation. I end up ordering "The Usual". Which consists of banana walnut pancakes, 2 over easy eggs, a side of bacon and roasted rosemary potatoes. It was all worth the wait! Super delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked. My wife had the blueberry pancakes and a side of bacon. She also was very pleased. Even though it was very busy the service was good. I can definitely say Millie's is worth the wait.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped by Millie's Cafe for the first time a few weeks ago and had a nice brunch. We came in on a Sunday, so of course they were super busy. However, they did a nice job of moving through the waitlist as efficiently as possible. The establishment offers both indoor and outdoor seating which assisted in seating and serving more customers during their busyness. Staff were friendly and also efficient. The food was generally good as well. Overall, a solid first impression. Millie's Cafe in Pasadena has an array of items for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. They even have a wide selection of vegan options to offer. Our order consisted of: - Blueberry Waffle Usual - Crab Benedict - French Toast Usual The Blueberry Usual was all to be expected: a waffle with blueberry compote, eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Nothing fancy or unusual (ha!). The Crab Benedict was a complete miss and not very good. The original waitress who took our order told my husband the crab was fresh everyday, however, the benedict didn't taste as so. It was watery (like it came from a can) and extremely fishy. We ended up sending it back and replaced the entree with the French Toast Usual, which my husband loved. He said the French Toast was one of the best, if not the best, he's ever had. The second waitress who helped us rectify the order was amazing. Very patient and gracious through the mishap. She and the French Toast salvaged the experience for my husband. We do not frequent Pasadena often, but would consider visiting Millie's Cafe again if we were in town.

Yelp
This is definitely one of my top places to get country fried steak for breakfast. Their country fried steak is SO good, it's the reason I keep coming back. I usually get their matcha as well but the last time I went I tried their chai instead. A+ on the chai, also so good. It's the perfect level of sweetness. They get really busy on the weekends so make sure to join the waitlist. You can show up but it'll probably be a long wait. They have indoor and outdoor seating (I prefer indoor).

Yelp
My favorite breakfast/brunch spot! Flavors are portions are on point. Only downside is parking and wait times.

Yelp
So glad they have a waitlist here, because it got crowded for lunch on a Saturday. I luckily got called up right when I arrived and was asked if I wanted to sit inside or outside. Personally inside seemed like a lot better especially since it was hot in the summer so we waited a few extra minutes to get a table inside. Service was fast, and our order was taken quickly, here is what I tried. Chai Lavender Latte - This was tasty, super milky almost like a horchata. I enjoyed it, and you could taste the lavender. (4.5/5) Crab Cake Benedict - The eggs were perfectly cooked and the crab cakes were good. Potato's were basic but was tasty with Ketchup. Solid dish. (4/5) Chilaquiles Benedict - Was a pretty basic dish. Chips were tasty and the eggs were also perfectly cooked. Can't go wrong. (4/5) Overall the food was good but I wasn't exactly wow'd since there are so many great brunch places. I definitely wouldn't wait more than 15 minutes for this but since they have a waitlist it's not too bad if you plan ahead. The restaurant is very loud too so not the ideal place if you want to talk with your friends. Default minimum tip is 18% so would recommend you get ready with tip numbers if you want to tip lower than that. Parking - Easy, you can park on the street. If anything you can just park farther down the road and walk.

Yelp
My first time here and it won't be my last. The service was wonderful and the menu had a great selection for every type of diet. Met a group of my foodie friends for breakie, a little too early for this girl, but definitely worth it for the company & the food. Let's just start off by saying that their home made biscuits were the best I have ever experienced. Baked in a muffin tin, it was moist with just a tad of sweetness & served warm with butter and jam:). It came with my scrambled eggs & hash browns. Several others ordered the biscuits as well. Everything looked delicious and the service was spot on. By the time our group left there was a line out the front door. It's spacious inside with a few tables outside. Street parking only but it's free. *Read signs for street cleaning etc. *Located on the corner Hill and Washington

Yelp
The service was very prompt and and the food was very good , first time having charcoal iced latte and omg it was soooo good . The food is great portion (but too much actually) but rather have more than not enough... worth my visit every time I'm in the area. I got there early as the table fill fast and keeps on moving from the short time I was there.

Yelp
Lil Brekkie with the fam. Millie's is a go to for family outings. The service is always on point! Once you're seated you're seen no more than 10 minutes in and once you order the food comes out in less than 10 minutes I sh*t you not and it's like that EVERY THYME! Consistency is Key! The ambiance is very diner- esque hustle n' bustle very loud but also very quaint. 10/10

Yelp
Found this Gem on yelp for the raving reviews. This place was amazing from start to finish! The prices for 3 people to eat and have quality lattes, less than 100.00 each dish was tasty. The breakfast croissant, the heavenly hash, and the cheeseburger- BOMBDOTCOM! Thank you to everyone on the crew. Teamwork is in full order and smiles all around. If you're in the neighborhood, stop here! THANK YOU to our server Tarek!

Yelp
It's been quite a hot minute since I stopped by Millie's cafe but I visited for a quick stop of coffee on a Saturday morning and boy was it crowded! Lines out the door and Yelp waitlist 30+ parties deep - would definitely recommend checking in in advance as you're driving over (or even before then). This review is ONLY FOR THE COFFEE I GOT that was so delightfully bland (sarcasm on the delightful). If you're coming considering the blue majik latte please look elsewhere because I felt like I was drinking an $8 glass of skim milk. Don't let the pretty blue color fool you because there was absolutely no coffee taste or ... really anything. Hoping the food still holds up ... and the other drinks....

Yelp
A perfect brunch with impeccable service, food and ambiance. A full carafe of chilled ice water and glasses on each table. Weather you want a full vegan or meat forward menus that accommodate everyone's dietary needs. Shared eggs Benedict ( perfect yolks) accompanied by oven roasted potatoes and lox and bagel (green salad) . We also shared one blueberry pancake with real maple syrup. If your in the neighborhood you need to stop by .
