Came here yesterday with some girl friends and my kiddo around 11am. Almost didn’t come due to (some of) the Google reviews but very GLAD we did. The tables outside were all occupied so it looked busy and one of my friends who doesn’t like to wait kept checking Yelp for the wait time and it said 5min but when we got to the door we were immediately seated at a table inside. The menu had a lot of tasty choices and I ended up getting the corn beef benedict while the others got the chicken and waffles, machaca, and the chicken strips. I loved my benedict not only because it was delicious but because the poached eggs were actually done correctly! Props to the cooks for that because I’ve been ordering benedicts and the eggs are not oozing yolk. Although the machaca was a little under seasoned, it was still tasty as well as the other entrees. I got the pistachio matcha latte and that was tasty (I don’t advise getting it with coconut milk, however). Prices are high but that’s unfortunately the way it is anywhere but the portions are pretty generous contrary to another review and delicious so it’s at least a good value. Looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu. Service was also friendly and prompt. If you’re on the fence, give Millie’s a try.

Place is alright. I had been here a couple years back and it satisfied my pancake craving without being anything extraordinary. I returned last week for a heavier cheat meal. Millie’s is very popular in the neighborhood. I got pancakes with sausage, hash browns and eggs. I liked my hash browns. I have had better pancakes although the sides here were really good. I wouldn’t come back here unless I were in the area and craving hash browns.

Millie’s in Pasadena was a good experience overall. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was enjoyable. I especially loved the pistachio latte—it was delicious and definitely a highlight. I had the chicken and waffles; while the chicken wasn’t very flavorful, the dish was still enjoyable. Overall, a pleasant visit and worth checking out.

I'm sorry but I'm not the kind of person that waits hours in line to eat breakfast, this place has a huge line every weekend. If you don't want to wait you need to come during the week. Staff were really really nice and the place looks cool and cozy inside. I had corned beef eggs benedict and they were pretty good. I feel that it was a little bit expensive but I'm okay because it's a once in a while treat. I will definitely be back to try other items on their menu.

This place was incredible! Some of the best vegan breakfast we’ve had. In such a cute part of Pasadena too. Went here on two different occasions and the menus were expansive, for both vegan and non vegan options. the service was impeccable, everyone was so friendly and helpful, the coffee never got too low before a top off, and sitting outside was so comfortable. I will never miss up an opportunity to eat here anytime I’m back in Los Angeles or Pasadena.

Check in online before you head out. The wait is real. They were prompt with service and kept the food and drinking coming. I got the usual combo and my gluten free waffles were doughy even tho they were brown. The food was good so I'd be back again to try something else. I also had the spirulina latte hot and it was tasty

This is hands down the best breakfast spot I’ve been to. If you have any dietary restrictions this place is a great option, as they have an extensive vegan menu as well as many gluten free options and more. 10/10 recommend great food, service and atmosphere.

One of the best restaurants ever. My family has been Millie's fan since 1960s and the youbger generations keep going!!! Perfect for a Breakfast/Lunch date. Food looks amazing, tastes great and the atmosphere is genuinely calming. You basically enjoy everything!

Some of the best pancakes I've had, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, not to sweet and overwhelming. Sadly there's always a wait so the staff seem overwhelmed but, they try their best!

Yummy food and drinks! One of my favorite drinks is the green eye which is a matcha espresso and it gives me soo much energy. I also love the chicken and waffles and the cheese burger with purple onions. The other thing is the amazing customer service, no other place compares!

The food here is really good, I come because they have a really good vegan menu as well as non vegan food. Their vegan breakfast is soo good! This past time I got the vegan "Elanor", I think it was called. It had vegan egg over potatoes with vegan cheese. It was delicious! The cheese melted, it was so gooey. I have had their vegan Chiliquiles as well and they are good. I also appreciate that they offer vegan lattes with soy milk. My friends got non vegan food and loved their dishes. I would give 5 stars, but the seating is not always the best and the service is rushed because they're always on a wait. Sometimes you get sat outside and their umbrellas don't always save you from the sun. But they are super popular so it comes with the territory. I have been coming for years and will continue to go. I appreciate the vegan menu! Small parking lot, so come early to find parking.

Everything you'd hope for in a breakfast spot, sans the mimosas. Quick and attentive service. Bottomless hot coffee. A huge range of dishes and even a whole Vegan menu. Prices are what you'd expect for this area. Around $15-20 a plate. Great portions! The ambiance is tight seating and hustle and bustle. You don't really have the eye space to see what's around all the people.

Overall nice local spot. It gets super busy but the tables flip quickly, and if you're not picky about seating, plenty of outdoor options usually available. They allowed us to seat early in line since we were ok with outside seating. The service was quick too. The parking situation is tough in the lot but you should be able to get some spots in the nearby streets. The coffee is solid here. I ordered a Blue Magik, which is blue spirulina with a nice hint of cinnamon. I was able to get it with oat milk. I was less of a fan of the avocado toast. The avocado was good but I prefer mine mashed. I did take a star off due to it lacking in seasoning. My fiance felt the same and added salsa to the toast I shared with him because it didn't have too much flavoring.

We've come here at least a couple of times now. I love how they have many vegan items (a separate vegan menu, actually). The most recent time I've gone, we ordered the V-Famous Breakfast Burrito (with the tater tots on the side instead of in the burrito, per my request) and V-Huevos a la Mexicana. I also got a fresh coconut water and I was able to scoop out the coconut meat afterwards too. Everything tasted great and even though the place was busy, like they usually are, the food came out at a good time. The service in general was great-very attentive, friendly, and efficient. We sat outside, which was nice, but another time we've gone, we sat inside. This place isn't the cheapest, but the prices aren't anything outrageous, especially considering how expensive everything is in general. Overall, this is a great brunch spot for vegan (and non-vegans) and I will definitely be returning.

This small spot looks unassuming, but it is a gem! Despite them being busy, my husband and I were able to get a seat right away. They have indoor and outdoor dining. We went for brunch Saturday and it was hopping. The menu is truly large with something for everyone including a great selection of vegan and non vegan options. Multiple non dairy and dairy milk was available as well as veggie patty "sausage" and sourdough. I had a pistachio iced latte with oat milk and half order of Nutella strawberry and banana French toast. My husband got California eggs Benedict. The food came out fast and fresh & portions were generous. I highly recommend.

Millie's is a great place for breakfast or brunch. We went to breakfast today as a family and really enjoyed it. Sit down diner style. We sat inside and the service was awesome and non stop but I will mention it's also loud. I might try sitting outside next time. Other than that the food is very high quality and delicious. We tried the chocolate chip pancakes, famous breakfast burrito, 2 eggs with bacon playe, and the usual combo with eggs, chicken apple sausage, rosemary home fries and waffles. One thing was even more delightful than the next. Adding pics for reference. They also have a super helpful waiting listing thru Yelp so we got seated as soon as we arrived it was awesome. Thanks for having a clean and fun diner environment that's working like a well oiled machine.

It was a perfect weather to go get some brunch and to be seated outside. The food was very flavorful. I normally get the gravy on the side for my chicken fried chicken, but it was not overwhelming. The amount of gravy was just right. My wife ordered the chilaquiles Benedict. It is one of there popular dishes. I can see why. Service was great. Oncr the good was ordered, it went straight to the kitchen so it was efficient.

We came here for brunch on a Saturday and it was very busy! The place gets packed and a little rowdy. Even though they were very busy, service was really quick and helpful! Food came in quickly as well! We got the Eleanore r. Special and the blue berry French toast! I'm biased but the French toast was amazingly good! Would totally come here again just for that! Best to find street parking! It's not too hard to find!

This is a very busy brunch spot. You can join the waitlist on Yelp. We sat outside. The food was pretty good, I got the Devil's Mess egg scramble with roasted potatoes and sourdough bread. Great place to spend with friends if you don't mind a little wait!

Millie's Café is always busy, so we joined the Yelp waitlist around 11am while driving over and were seated by about 11:45am. One of the highlights is that they offer a full vegan menu, which makes it easy if you are dining with different dietary preferences. My partner got the breakfast burrito with tater tots, eggs, avocado, and a sausage link. I ordered the Vegan Usual which comes with blueberry pancakes, vegan eggs, potatoes, and one vegan sausage link. The food came out very quickly and everything tasted great. We sat outside and the area is nice, but the street is on a hill so the tables are slightly slanted. One utensil set had some leftover sauce on it, but the staff replaced it right away. The service can feel a little pushy since there is always a wait, but they keep things moving. Street parking was not too hard to find and overall we had a great meal with plenty of choices. Would definitely come back.

Had to show my wonderful husband this spot since he's a big fan of brunch, and this one is one of the best brunch spots out there. I did warn him about the long lines, but we timed it perfectly for our visit. We got on the waitist before arriving to the restaurant and once we got there, we were accommodated as soon as we arrived - absolutely no wait at all. We visited on a Saturday morning and saw that the line was extremely long. I am very happy that we got on the waitlist early as we were on the way to the restaurant. We were tended to the indoor seating arrangement, and our orders were taken fairly quickly despite a super busy morning. Food came out quick as well, which is always a plus. Service was very quick and professional. At the end of our meal, the check was handed to us before we even had to ask. A sense of urgency is always nice since the restaurant has plenty of customers waiting outside. We had our fair share of interests in plenty of the large variety menu, pretty cool that they have a separate menu for vegan diners. It's awesome that the breakfast menu is served all day. Ultimately, we decided on three dishes to share between two people: Eggs Benedict, Shrimp Scramble, and the Strawberry, Banana, Nutella Waffle. Eggs Benedict: cooked to perfection. I loved the side of rosemary potatoes that come along with the dish - definitely a solid side to the delicious benedict. Eggs were very savory and not too salty. I highly recommend ordering this breakfast dish, as it's one of their signatures, from the looks of it. Shrimp Scramble: surprisngly, this had a hint of spice to it which was not stated in the menu. It was still very delicious nonetheless. This was also served with a side of rosemary potatoes, but also comes with toast and butter on the side. Very delicious and savory. Not too salty and definitely would order again on the next visit. Strawberry, Banana, Nutella Waffle: love that the strawberries and bananas had an even spread along the presentation of the dish. What made it delicious was that you didn't realy need the maple syrup, although I would still recomended if you want more flavoring, but the fruits were more than enough sugar for me. The waffle was super soft, chewy, and easy to eat. Super yummy sweet dish and definitely a nice side to balance out the savory dishes. Very glad that I was able to introduce my husband to this brunch spot. We will definitely come back over and over again because of how great the food is here. Everything was perfect, from no wait time at all to the great service and top quality food. Perfect start to the weekend with a lovely brunch date.

Had this restaurant in my try list for awhile, one thing I noticed is that there's a Yelp waitlist, and very much needed as this spot is VERY VERY busy. Of course, highly recommended to get on the waitlist as you're on the way to the restaurant to avoid any longer wait times. DISCLAIMER though is that if you're not there when your table is ready, they will move you off the waitlist, do plan accordingly. Parking is free in a moderate size lot next to Millies, shared with some other businesses. Would advise to wait around as plenty of people are going in and out of the lot at times. Luckily, my amazing wife joined the Yelp waitlist about mid way through our car trip to the restaurant. Total minutes was about 30 minutes driven so about 15 minutes to the destination is pretty preferred to join the waitlist is what it seems. Because of my wife, we had exactly a 5 second wait time when we arrived. There were tons and I mean TONS of people lining up on the street all waiting for a table, while we got seated immediately. First impressions is that the restaurant is very much like a modern tavern style cafe. There are plenty of tables inside and outside with numerous staffs around. Service here is decent even with how insanely busy the restaurant is. Very well maintained, standardized, and structured extremely well to provide great service for all customers. Our orders were taken in a timely manner and food came out in about 15 minutes, fairly quickly. There's also a huge vegan menu, very pleasant for variety in choices of food. 1. Eggs Benedict Had my fair share of eggs benedicts around but this one at Millies is very well made. My favorite dish of the three dishes ordered. Portions are big and very much a shareable dish if wanted. The side of potatoes is a nice touch which adds to the savory taste of the eggs. One of their most popular items around and for good reason. Love the presentation as well. 2. Shrimp Omelet HUGE DISH, i was pretty wow'd by this dish. Menu doesn't really state it but it has a tad bit of spice to it. Regardless, very tasty, loaded with flavor & is pretty fulfilling. I would say this was a great compliment dish to the eggs benedict. 3. Strawberry & Banana Nutella Waffle Top notch presentation, drizzled with Nutella, filled with strawberries and banana slices up top, very well made as the waffle pieces are soft and very savory. A very nice dish to share to cleanse the palete after the meal. Would highly recommend this dessert waffle dish, one of the best waffles I've ever eaten. Overall, amazing brunch restaurant, from decent prices, not too high nor too low, decent service, free parking, clean interior, and high quality food. Would love to revisit when we get the chance.

Consider Millie's Cafe a classic, somewhat retro-inspired breakfast and brunch place for anyone in Pasadena! They offer all-American dishes like stacks of pancakes, egg scrambles, sandwiches, waffles, shakes, Benedicts, salads, various lattes, and burgers. Service moves around quickly to get to the (usually) crowded restaurant, but I still suggest putting your name on the waitlist ahead of time. My friend and I got the Devil's Mess and the shrimp scramble with egg whites as well as some fun coffee drinks like the Blue Majik latte! We really enjoyed our visit for a heartier, protein-rich meal.

It is extremely busy. Even with checking in with Yelp you'll probably still have to wait. Our estimated wait time was 10 minutes but was easily 25 minutes. Everyone working was very friendly and helpful. They are quick to bring your orders as well as pick up any dirty or finished plates. The food was tasty. My party tried breakfast from the regular menu and the vegan menu (per their lifestyle). Everyone loved it. There is no kids menu so if you're taking children I recommend having them share. They were accommodating into splitting a milk shake into two separate cups. As for the food, they just brought an extra plate, serving and sauces.

Our first time here, so I didn't know what to order. I ordered the slutty bun with rosemary potatoes, which sounded interesting to me. It was definitely delicious that had a touch of chipotle sauce. My daughter ordered strawberries pancake and thought it was okay. My husband ordered the monkey banana usual. He enjoyed his food. Everything was perfectly seasoned.

Millie's cafe is a great spot for a hearty breakfast/brunch with lots of options! the menu is jam-packed with your classic brunch choices like omelette, burritos, and benedicts, but there's also a separate menu for vegan/vegetarian options so there's options for everyone! the staff are all extremely friendly and helpful and it feels super welcoming and homey as soon as you walk in. the food itself is great! both the slutty sandwich and the breakfast burrito we got were packed with ingredients and left us feeling full and satisfied. I will definitely be returning for another great brunch and I recommend to anyone in the area!

I was craving a country fried chicken breakfast and a rainy day seem like the perfect day for it. The staff was very friendly and attentive and quick to take care of us. The menu said that the country fried chicken was "Texas sized". I'm not so sure about that claim, however, it doesn't take away from the fact that it was delicious. The homemade biscuit was actually the star of the show. And their jelly is very good. All in all we were very happy with our visit and would definitely come back again.

I had the eggs Benedict that came out more than poached egg wi the a lukewarm to cold hollandaise sauce... the potatoes were mildly flavored. Quick prompt service, bustling ambiance... this place was mid at best. Pro tip: join the help list to avoid the long lines....

Millie's Cafe is a local breakfast spot with locations in Pasadena and Silverlake. This location in Pasadena has parking in the rear. We stopped by on a Monday morning with a party of six and were seated immediately. There were already a good amount of people eating right after opening. I ordered the famous breakfast burrito ($18) which had everything that I liked and none of the filler stuff I didn't like. It had eggs, avocado, tater tots, cheese, and my choice of meat. The tater tots were crispy and there were good portions of the meat. I liked drenching the salsa on top of the burrito; it was really satisfying and hit the spot after a good workout. I also ordered the iced coffee which was standard. I was also told that their chilaquiles were really good so I'll have to try those next time. They also have a huge vegetarian and vegan menu which rivals their other menu in the number of offerings.

This is the cutest little café! The best part is they have so many gluten-free options! I got a gluten-free waffle and fresh coconut water for breakfast! The waiters are very sweet and helpful! The café is really cute and I can't wait to go back

I especially enjoyed the rosemary and the fresh blueberry compote on the pancakes. Bacon cooked to perfection! Crispy and thick The overall vibe of the place is very comforting and feels good to see people out eating and enjoying Pasadena and Altadena!

As far breakfast burritos go...Millies wins the prize, they have the Heavyweight championship belt, the big 1st place trophy (not the participation trophy) , the gold medal. DELICIOUS!! What your seeing is a cross-section of Millie's "Famous Breakfast Burrito" eggs, turkey sausage, (crispy) hashbrown tots, scrambled eggs and (real) cheddar cheese. *Request extra verde salsa....its fresh, its Incredible. Why is it that I have this feeling that Im the late guy finding out about Pasadena's "secret spot" (established in 1926) Excellent FAST service, clean restrooms and decent parking. The Chilaquiles looked incredible, so a 2nd or 3rd trip is scheduled and this investigation is current "on-going"

A hip diner in Pasadena. Vibes and service are great. Only tried one item so no clue on how good everything else is. One of my favorite breakfast items is country fried steak. I'm not sure what it was but it just wasn't it.

Love love the location. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They have many options on their menu include a vegan friendly selection. I got their breakfast burrito and it was a decent size with good ingredients! It was quite pricey but I enjoyed my meal. Sad they did not have strawberry lemonade but I did hear their orange juice was a great option! They are quite busy serving two areas so we had limited contact with the staff (only when our order was taken and when we paid). Aside from that, a cute place to try out :)

Millie's has always been my family and I goto brunch spot! It's run by the sweetest family who are extremely accommodating and welcoming to their guests. The service is quick and the staff are always friendly and attentive. My favorite part about this restaurant is the very variety of their menu. There are so many options and different combinations to choose from, they even have a vegan menu. Every time I visit I try something new and it never disappoints. The restaurant gets busy fast on the weekend so I recommend joining their yelp waitlist so you can get a notified when your table is ready. If you're in the area and craving a satisfying breakfast you have to stop by Millie's!

Cute neighborhood brunch spot that's become a solid go-to. I got the classic lox Benedict and the Spanish omelet -- both were satisfying and hit that weekend comfort-food vibe. What really stands out to me are their homemade scones: buttery and soft on the inside with a nicely crisp exterior, perfect with coffee or tea. Overall, a pretty solid brunch option when you're in the mood for something cozy and reliable.

This restaurant was alright. The service was probably the highlight of the entire trip. The food was good, but I felt it was just pretty basic breakfast/brunch food. The atmosphere of the restaurant was super busy, but they took care of us quickly. Overall, I'd try this place again, but it wasn't a stand out for me.

I was craving a Belgian waffle and this awesome spot had all the options. The service was quick and awesome. Quality of the food was delicious. We were seated right away which was great. I ordered the "usual combo" with waffle, eggs and bacon. Great combo with the rosemary potatoes. It was raining so we sat inside but the outdoor seats look cool.

They close at 3 but they stop taking people in early. Got there at 1 and weren't allowed to join the waitlist. Been here a few times around the same time and there were a lot more people waiting outside. In this instance there were only two other people waiting outside. We were only a party of 2.

New favorite brunch spot!! We came in on a Tuesday morning and got seated right away. We ordered the Famous Breakfast Burrito, Chicken & Waffles Egg Benedict, Lemon Ricotta Pancake, and Strawberry Banana Nutella French Toast. The star of the show was the Chicken & Waffles Egg Benedict, which we give a 5/5. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the chicken was crispy and not too dry, and the waffle was soft and fluffy. The side of rosemary potatoes paired perfectly with the egg benedict. I added a drizzle of maple syrup on top of the chicken and waffles and that was the cherry on top. My second favorite item was the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. They were light, fluffy, and moist, with just the perfect amount of lemon flavor. I didn't feel it needed any additional glaze as the maple syrup was just enough. I loved how unique the flavor of these pancakes were and would definitely order again. The breakfast burrito was really satisfying. I felt it tasted a little plain, so I wish they had more sauce choices. I was least impressed with the French Toast -- the bread was kind of doughy and it lacked the vanilla and cinnamon flavors of a French toast that I like. Not the worst French toast, I just wouldn't order it again. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would recommend this spot to others. I'm usually picky with brunch spots as I feel a lot of brunch foods can taste the same, but Millie's was very memorable! The service was great, friendly, and very attentive. I'm looking forward to returning and trying other items on the menu.

My friends and I came here on a Saturday morning and the wait was like 10 mins and the food came out super fast! This spot has really great portion sizes and great accommodations for any food allergies :D

I stopped by Millie's Cafe in Pasadena just an hour before closing and was surprised that I was seated right away. Usually there would be a long wait on Saturday but I got lucky that day. I tried the California Eggs Benedict and the Chicken Chimichurri sandwich. Both were really good! The eggs benedict had perfectly cooked eggs with a tasty hollandaise sauce and a nice avocado touch. The Chicken Chimichurri sandwich was juicy with a flavorful, a little bit of spicy sauce that made it stand out. The service was great too -- the staff was friendly and quick without being pushy. Overall, it was a solid experience, and I'd definitely go back!

We come here often, it's perhaps our favorite brunch place. The waitlist on Yelp is amazing since we can walk our dog while we wait for a table - it's a great neighborhood for that. Pro tip: the items on the vegan menu are great to explore and we found a couple that we probably like more than their meat-based counterparts. Having said that, my go-to is the filthy chai and slutty bun.

Never under 5 stars from us at Millie's. Well worth the drive, wait of there is one and believe me they treat you like family. Love Millie's! Super clean and delicious food. Come check them out. You won't be disappointed.

I can't believe I didn't hear of Millie's sooner. I grabbed brunch with my friends here and the entire experience couldn't have been better. It was packed with a 20 minute queue to be seated but once seated service was incredibly fast, starting from order through bill. I tried a buckwheat pancake and got the vegan BLT with sweet potato fries. The buckwheat pancake was amazing: light and not sweet at all. I'd never tried bacon tempeh but I'm a fan now. The sandwich spread was the perfect flavor combo to the tempeh/lettuce/tomato. With the fries as the perfect complement, the meal totally hit the spot. Staff were friendly and helpful. I really liked the cafe location and vibe as well. Prices were very fair for the portions served. And, it was amazing to have a separate vegan menu with enough options that it made choosing hard. I'll def be a regular here and wholeheartedly recommend it.

I was visiting from out of town and Millie's was within walking distance from where I was staying. I looked up the menu before I went, which I highly recommend because their menu is extensive! The lemon ricotta pancakes caught my eye, and they were the star of my breakfast plate. I ordered the Usual Breakfast, which in itself was good meal, with the chicken apple sausage, scrambled eggs, and hash browns. Very large meal for me, but I ate most of it. The food was good enough that I'd go back... maybe even get those pancakes again! Even midweek, they were busy. Service was nothing spectacular, but it was efficient. It was very noisy indoors, so the outdoor seating on the street was good enough for me. It felt a little like being in a Parisian street café. If you're not big on close company with your neighbors though, I'd sit indoors. In all, not a bad experience from an out-of-towner.

Had a great midweek brunch here. The service was super quick and on point. We even loved their shirts haha! Go there to check them out. We ordered the Blue Majik Lattes which were picture perfect AND tasty! Then we ordered an egg dish and the bagel and lox dish. We ate everything: it was fresh filling. My only comment is that I would have liked the cream cheese to be on the side fresh, instead of from a packet. The seating was plain and clean. We were seated outside due to the inside being full, but luckily it was shady. And the restrooms were clean as well. Great little brunch overall.

had the chilaquiles Benedict and it was really good--not too spicy and a nice portion. The restaurant has a great vibe inside, even though it was crowded. The staff moved quickly and handled everything smoothly, so there were no delays. I really appreciated that the check came at just the right time, exactly when I was about to ask for it. Paying was super easy too, since they take care of card payments right at the table. Overall, delicious food with excellent, professional service!

Driving back from Palm Springs and was looking for a solid breakfast spot, stumbled upon Millie's and it did not disappoint! Joined the wait list while driving there and waited no more than 5 minutes before sitting down. Ordered a three stack of pancakes, the plate of chilaquiles, and the croissant sandwich! Everything was phenomenal but the best plate was the chilaquiles! They have a great system and make sure everything is clean quickly and thoroughly, we didn't wait long for our food. Amazing experience and will definitely be coming back for more!

The iced date cardamom latte was recommended by our waiter and it was such an interesting flavor with the sugar free date syrup, i loved it!! Using the yelp waitlist cut our actual wait time here at Millie's down to only 5 minutes for such a busy place, and we had efficient and helpful service! We loved the california benedict; the denver omelet scramble and the breakfast burrito were both tasty; the burrito was very healthy with veggies and black beans, so less of a "hangover burrito" we were hoping for, but very large portion which was nice. I wished they had hash browns on the weekends, the bfast potatoes were good but red potatoes aren't my preference so hash browns would have been nice as an option. The biscuit with gravy didn't have a ton of flavor. Super kind staff and a good place for fast boujie brunch with fun flavors!!

This place is busy but they know how to be busy, they have a lot of staff on hand. They have a fast moving system, you will be served fast and your table will be cleared for the next customer even faster, regardless if you are still seated and finishing your food. The prices are pretty high but at least the food wasn't bad. Don't expect "authentic" nothing or a signature dish. Theres no loud music here but the decibels of all the people trying to be heard by their table gets very loud. If you want to have an important conversation this is not your place unless you don't mind being very loud and repeating yourself like at a concert. When we signed up for the waitlists there were like 30 in line ahead of us. That line actually moves pretty fast but depending on your plans you may or may not like it. Your plates will be taken away from your table very quickly when you are done. There is always a line out the door so they will want you to eat fast and get out of there fast. This is how they run things here. Not mad at them. You won't see one person with a laptop hogging a table for four, hours at a time. At least not during their brunch rush. Brunch is rushed here. Believe me. Pasadena is severely lacking in brunch, it makes sense they're always packed here. Their Silverlake location is surrounded by great neighboring locations for brunch, but they are always busy at that location as well. So they're doing something right apparently.

This cafe is usually pretty busy so take that into account. There's options for indoor and outdoor seating. The service has always been great and fast. The atmosphere is quite energetic but you can still have conversations with others. I got the blueberry French toast combo this time. Overall no complaints. The breakfast potatoes are always a delight. The beacon has the right amount of chrispiness and saltiness. The portions are enough to get full or take home leftovers. The only downside is probably the parking being limited. But there's other locations you can still go if the lot is full.

I had to write a review so that I would remember exactly what I ordered since it was the perfect combo. We came on a Monday and there was no wait... win! My perfect breakfast here: - date and cardamom latte - Maynard's special with the house potato's and a substitute of the ricotta pancake instead of biscuit/ toast (add $2.50) It was perfect... little bit of healthy and a little bit of sweet. The lemon ricotta pancake was soft and fluffy and you could see the lemon zest in the batter. Delicious! Ambience is casual and friendly. We usually find street parking pretty easily. The hubby likes their breakfast burritos. Love it!

Got there early enough to get seated right away and food came out quick. I confused the server when I ordered el cucui and then said ok I'll have el chamusco instead. After a pause, I had to say okay okay the devils... anyhow it was good matcha latte was great. Didn't know what to expect but overall good vibes.

service is always amazing here and thank u millie's for always staying open during holidays :') i love that millie's has a separate vegan menu - i tried the vegan chicken sandwich for the first time today and loved it. my dad got the california benedict, which he really liked. the inside is always quite busy/noisy so it's great for families.

Loved that there was a vegan menu. Got the V- SPANISH OMELET with fruit and potatoes as sides. Normally it's choose fruit OR potatoes, and comes with toast, but I modified and asked for no toast. Meal was yummy. Also ordered a blueberry matcha latte and it was pretty bad and cost $10. They wouldn't give a refund on the drink but they added more blueberry syrup and it still tasted weird but also too sweet.
