"At Millie’s you’re in for a lot of butter and a lot of kitsch. Modeled after supper clubs in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, the dining room is filled with vintage beer signs and taxidermy. Most entrees are just fine, but the Genuine Broaster Chicken is delicious - if you can catch the kitchen on a good night. Come here if you really miss Wisconsin but don’t feel like driving an hour to the border." - Josh Barnett

Average. Was expecting a true Wisconsin supper club, and although the decor was right, the food was poor. The broasted chicken and the fish fry was overdone and almost inedible. The relish tray was relatively good and the dessert was excellent. Service and atmosphere was good. Didn't have enough help

Warm and cozy, Wisconsin supper club inspired with hunting lodge decor. Classy bar with friendly staff. We both ordered the beef stew, and bacon brussel sprouts. Both were delicious. Great for a cold day. They have some nice beers on draft, avg $6.5. Cocktails are very expensive avg $12.

Nestled quietly off a busy road, a little slice of the Wisconsin woods greeted us inside Millie's Supper Club. Red naugahyde booths and barstools added to the essence of days long gone. But the real treat was the Prime Rib (apparently only available on Fridays and Saturdays). Thankfully, we were the first in the door this Friday night. I grew up with a stepfather who was a chef and he and my mother owned a lake resort restaurant when I was growing up. Up until now, his prime rib was the best I'd ever eaten. Millie's was pricy, but I'd pay double for it. Tender, juicy, flavorful. I mean, use a fork to break it apart. I ordered the Roland, 18oz, and it had the right amount of fat and rubbed spices. I took my son and he said to me "it's like the flavor just explodes in my mouth!" I couldn't have said it better. The lazy Susan was so-so, not going to lie I would have liked it better if it were like they used to be and included in the experience (it was $14.99 by itself) though I must say the smoked trout cheese spread was delicious. Everything else was sort of average on the lazy Susan. But please don't allow that to skew what you get from my review; if nothing else, Millie's has the best prime rib in Chicago hands down (at a much lower price than some competitors) and for my opinion and money, the best prime rib anywhere. Thank you, Millie's, for reviving supper clubs outside of Wisconsin. (I should note, we came to Chicago area from Columbus, Ohio for an event this weekend but specifically drove over an hour into the city to go to Millie's, simply on research & a hunch.) -Nick Yaekle August 31, 2019.

Delicious cozy dinner spot! Based off of the Wisconsin supper club theme, this spot has seriously full service with a bread basket and veggie tray included in your meal while you wait for it to be served and $6 pretty much any craft Wisconsin beers. The stew was just okay, but the brussel sprouts were really nice little buggers of bacon. Delicious and a perfect accompaniment. Staff is really friendly and get along great with reach other too, which adds to the great family like atmosphere. The music is old school jazz. Very appropriate for this classy type of spot. :)

Wisconsin supper club for sure!!! It's super cozy and brings back all the feelings of a great meal in a small town. The curds were delish and the veer was cold. What else is there in life?!

Just like in Wisconsin! Prices a little higher, but on par with Lincoln Park/Chicago. Portions are huge, and delicious! Cheese curds are spot on. Prime rib was maybe the best I've ever had...4 instead of 5 because felt a little like we were rushed, service wise, but there were 10 of us so I get it. We were celebrating my friend's birthday and the complementary piece of cake was the biggest free dessert ever, with ice cream!

The food is just OK, not awful, but not great. I had prime rib, hubby had fried chicken. Prime rib was tender, nicely seasoned, but I ordered it either an end cut or medium well. It was rare. The chicken was underseasoned. Relish tray is nothing to write home about. Cheese curds were good, but could have used a minute more in the deep fryer. Service was good enough, there was only one server for the whole restaurant and she did the best she could. The carpet desperately needs cleaning and/or replacement. The handicap washroom was grungy, the floor needs repair and there were no hand towels. We've been here twice: I think tonight was the last time.

As someone who spends a lot of time in Wisconsin, this is as close to an authentic supper club as you can get. Is it Chicago high cuisine? No! Is an extremely friendly atmosphere on a Saturday night in the city? Yes! Prime rib was yummy and what you’d expect from a solid supper club, as were the curds and fish fry. Will be back and recommend to anyone who likes Wisconsin supper clubs.
