I was in the city just passing by this cute little shop and decided to stop in and try it and I’m so glad I did! The employee, Favio, was absolutely amazing. He had great customer service, explained everything clearly, and made the whole experience so welcoming. The Minuto was honestly one of the best things I’ve ever tasted perfectly sweet, and the bread was so fluffy and fresh. You can really tell they care about quality. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Had the most amazing time. Staff was so nice, the desserts were so amazing I nearly lost my mind. Probably one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. And the inside is gorgeous and so warm. It caught my attention because the colors were much brighter and prettier than all the other restaurants. It’s so beautiful inside, and the food looks and tastes amazing. 10/10 experience, will definitely go back

this place was sooo good. they have some great hot drinks; i really loved the hot chocolate. it was rich and creamy and made your stomach just feel good. they make their own in house hazelnut spread and it tastes a million times better than Nutella. they have this sweet bread that you can put the spreads in, since they had a couple i did half custard half hazelnut spread. it was so delicious, i loved it so much. must go back and if youre in the area its a must stop. super affordable too, nothing too outrageous considering the area.

I was walking around today after a meeting I had at work and I so happened to notice this store! The atmosphere was so welcoming and the inside of the store was so inviting so I decided to step in! The choice in decorating is so cute and I love the way everything is staged. Best choice ive made! I ended up getting an oatmilk matcha latte and a sweet treat filled with pistachio and pastry cream with white chocolate pearls on top. The bread was so soft and sweet that I ended up eating it so quickly. It was just THAT good. And the matcha oatmilk latte was the perfect temperature, and it makes you feel so cozy. The warm drinks are perfect for this upcoming winter season PLUS it’s affordable! I would highly recommend coming here, especially with so many items to chose from, everyone could get a taste of what they love the moment they step through the doors. The staff were extremely friendly and made everything feel even more inviting! Best believe I am telling everyone at my job and my staff to stop by to get a sweet treat and a cozy drink. I got the brioche with berry jelly and an Americano both of which were very tasty. The actual brioche isn’t sweet, just the jelly what I thought made for a nice combo. This place has a very nice interior that is colorful but clean. The tables are very small which could be an issue if you are planning to work/study at this cafe. I also was surprised that they brought the brioche and Americano to me, a level of service I had yet to encounter at a cafe in NYC!

I normally would not leave a review unless I get a good service but I guess people have to know about customer service experience here. I used to visit this place often and was one of my favorite place however when I visited Jan 11th 5:30pm ish I truly had one of the worst experience living in NY. The lady was rude to us from the start with having that sarcastic attitude. Never said hello to us nor responded to our questions but was very kind to other “races” of customers. I would normally go over these type of behavior treating certain race differently. And I was fine with that people could be racially biased. But when I had the first bite, it barely had a filling inside, Which we asked for more filling to a male worker, he admitted and asked to the other two ladys to make a new one. They did but they played around with attitude. Continuously shouting “MORE” and “MORE” for me to hear even though the filling was already more than enough and spilling all over the napkin. And when they finally handed us the food. She continued to sarcastically asking if the filling was enough. I don’t know what is wrong with the people in the store but these type of abhorrent behavior should not be allowed. Anyways I am sad that I lost one of my favorite dessert place in New York and hope their service gets better.

First time at Minuto Bauli NY, I was curious to try the Minutos which are a sort of sweet bread pastry with fillings, I’ve got to say! The taste of the bread is unbelievable!! I tried the Tiramisu filling recommended by Valentina and it didn’t not disappoint!! What a great choice! I would highly recommend it!! I loved the customer service, the decoration! The staff! And the history of the company that you can read in the walls of the place! Lovely!!!

We stumbled across Minuto Bauli during our walk visiting New York. The shop was super cute and there are several Instagram shots to be taken. We tried one of the sandwiches and it was very tasty! The bread flavor was good and the filling was unique! This is a great spot to check out! The service was stellar!

Cute presentable dessert/bakery but very pricey for what it is! I ordered the small bun with pistachio filling and it cost around $8. It was delicious and quite messy. Good to try or for a sweet treat but I feel like the pricing is unreasonable. Service was ok but underwhelming when the staff made my order. The space seems bright and clean and has some other options including other sugary drinks. Open decently late. Accepts cash, card and Applepay.

Pastry Cream: This delicious pastry is filled with Bavarian cream and topped with crushed nuts. It was soft, doughy and very pleasing. Hazelnut: This time I decided to vary the dessert by exploring a Nutella filling along with crushed toffee and a sprinkle of powdered sugar. The appearance of this bread was kind of lopsided, but it still tasted excellent. This bakery has a stylish atmosphere with comfortable seating. It definitely gives off a lounge style vibe There is also a small gift shop where you can purchase merchandise ranging from canvas bags to jars of cream filling. Cuisine: 7 Service: 7 Decor: 9 Value: 7 Overall: 7 Walking by this relatively new sweets shop, we were lured in by the cute Vespa by the door and the unique looking dessert that this store offers. Once we entered, there was a wonderful aroma in the air and we went from lurkers to customers. The decor is very cute, with pastel colors like lavender and Tiffany blue adorning the back seating area, while a glass window reveals the heavy duty oven along with pans of their treats. Speaking with the owner, they use a 100+ years recipe passed down through the family to achieve this brioche-like bread that he called a form of panettone. I am not familiar with Bauli, but they apparently are a major Italian provider of the traditional holiday classic. Now, they are giving their product a facelift to attract a younger generation. Essentially, it is bread stuffed with delicious options of spreads, such as pistachio and dark chocolate, which we chose. Then topped with things like chopped pistachios to give it even more character. Though a bit sweet, it was still quite enjoyable. This is an interesting concept that I have not seen anywhere else before. The space was quite large and I worry if they can handle the rent just selling a single item. Would this idea possibly work better if they had a smaller shop without such high overhead? Only time will tell, but I wish them the best.

Must try: Brioche Buns Pastries! Why: I randomly stumble upon this cute Italian pastry shop while looking for coffee - so glad I did! They opened 3ish months ago and it's their first US location. I got the 4 Minuto To Go box: Hazelnut, Dark Chocolate, Pistachio, and Tiramisu (special). Honestly, they were all delicious! The Hazelnut, Dark Chocolate, and Pistachio were spreads so thicker, creamy, and rich in flavor. The Tiramisu was more of a whipped cream so light and fluffy. That bun surprised me - It reminded me of a soft Hawaiian Sweet Rolls! I took the box to work to share with colleagues and we were in sweet heaven! Note: The store is new so everything is clean and spotless. Fun decor and even a shop in back. They even sell some spreads too, which I may just go back and get pistachio and hazelnut. Looks like there's space in back to host small group events. The workers were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They walked me through the flavors and gave great recommendations. Overall spontaneous gem, wonderful experience, and delicious pastries! Definitely coming back for more and I would get these for gifts, birthdays, events!

These Italian donuts are real deal. The donuts are so unique and perfectly baked. You select your cream and toppings. They also serve espresso drinks and the cafe is very whimsical. It's worth a visit if you find yourself near union square.

Adorable pastry shop with a super friendly staff. Bright store and decor. Walking in just puts you in a good mood. Their minuto bauli is a customizable treat: soft brioche-like bread with your choice of fillings and toppings. I went with hazelnut and pastry cream topped with white chocolate pearls. The concept is fun, but the flavors missed the mark for me--the hazelnut filling was thick and pasty, and the cream was a bit thin. Not quite my taste, but if you've got a serious sweet tooth, it's worth a try.

3.5 Learned about Minuto Bauli from social media so wanted to try. Liked that we can customize donuts. Located by Union Square which we frequent; very accessible by public transportation. The place is a beautifully decorated cafe- with pinks and purples in the decor, a lot of seating (tables towards the back and counter seating), merchandise section. By the entrance is the donut station so a group of people actually came in and commented on the sweet aroma from outside. There are 2 sizes for donuts. We got the regular brioche (smaller size) -$5.75 with 1 filling and 2 topping (they have lists of options). We opted for double filling so $6.25 each. For the 2 we ordered, we tasted pistachio spread (sticky consistency), pastry cream and chocolate cream, pistachios (could use more) and cocoa and caramel crumble toppings. Sweet as a whole so need to share with someone. Check out their menu for adding ice cream, beverages etc. Service is great. They accommodated our requests and very friendly. Restroom available.

This place is SO CUTE. My friend and I were in the neighborhood, hankering for a sweet bite and were drawn in by the pops of purple and neon lights. I'd recognized this shop from social media and was excited to have a chance to try. The counter at the front boasts the different flavors of these Italian bread like pastries, generously filled with the different flavored creams and adorned with a variety of toppings. There is also a selection of what looks like ice cream coffees here as well as some merch, and jars of their filling to take home as spreads. L We decided to split a small minuto with pistachio filling and pistachios on top. It was pumped full and ready immediately. We ate it at one of the little booth + chair tables and noted how rich yet light it felt. My friend thought the cream was a little too sweet but for me it was just right. I'd definitely recommend this shop to anyone in the area looking for a unique sweet treat!

This is a snack brand I learned about many years ago from my colleagues (from Italy) when I worked at two different Italian luxury brands' satellite offices in Manhattan. I was expecting a lot from my visit to this particular store being the first location in a very foodie inclined city such as NYC. The place is spacious, bright and aesthetically pleasing. Great for photos. So if you don't order your drink to go, don't stand around to wait for it, the cashier will tell you to sit down and that someone will bring your order to you. The drinks were kind of disappointing and didn't bring through the Italian (strong coffee taste and smell) identity that any coffee drinker knows and expect. I'm not a coffee snob but I have drank enough strong single origin coffees with many of my coffee snob friends to know what's a bad, passable/decent or really good cup of coffee. This place would not be it. The caramel latte was too sweet, even though I'm someone who has a really bad sweet tooth. The Moccaccino was better. Maybe this is what an Italian chain store coffee quality tastes like? Now I'm curious about the drinks at their locations in Italy. Lastly, their bathroom is unisex requires a code to enter but there is no latch/lock on the inside to prevent anyone from walking in on you. Hope the shop will fix that soon. In the meantime, have someone guard the door if you have to go to the restroom. Otherwise be wary when using the restroom.

This pastry shop is known for their cream-filled creations, using a special yeast that makes their buns super fluffy and light. Fillings include: Hazelnut Spread, Pastry Cream, Pistachio Spread, Dark Chocolate Spread, Apricot Jam, and Mixed Berry Jam. Toppings include: Chopped Hazelnuts, Chopped Pistachios, Caramel Crumble, Red Fruit Crumble, White Chocolate Chips, Rainbow Chocolate Gems, Catalan Crunch Grains, and Crumbole Cocoa. We went for the Hazelnut Spread, the Pistachoi Spread, the Apricot Jam, and the Mixed Berry fillings with the Chopped Hazelnuts, Caramel Crumble, the Rainbow Chocolate Gems, and the Crumbole Cocoa. Staff were super friendly and were able to make some recommendations; there were seating available, and the decor is colorful and fun, with the neon lights and framed pictures. Have been dying for this to open and it finally is! The inside is very spacious and bright. I tried the Nutella cream and caramel topping. They make it right in front of you add you order real time. It was unique and an interesting sweet treat. I am not a massive donut person but if you are then this is probably the spot for you. They should do very well in Union Square.

Yesterday was opening day, I stopped by to check them out. First off the inviting bakery scent is so inviting, it wafts through the door reeling you in. Decor is beautiful, I forsee this being being all over Instagram . Now the pastry - it's pretty amazing. The dough is lighter than a doughnut and definitely top quality ingredients were used. I could eat that part by itself and still be satisfied. It's shaped a bit like a mini loaf cake . Any.. there are various filling /creams,jams to choose from ( hazelnut, chocolate, etc ) and then toppings- crushed nuts,flavored crunchies ,the works. You customize to your pleasure. Then sprinkle powdered sugar or whipped cream if you like. It's quite delicious and satisfying. They have these specialty coffees too. I didn't try one but it looks like cofee at the bottom with piped cream /mousse on top. I was going to lunch afterwards and the drink looked to be more in the dessert category. I will return to figure out exactly what it is. I saw jars with the pastry fillings for purchase. The baking area is visible and you can look in at the delicious nuggets being baked. These pastries would make a wonderful gift for any occasion. *lots of seating towards the back of store and a gender neutral bathroom as well . Store is spacious.

The place is beautiful and the service was good. The bread pastry was dry, it was not warm and did not have any flavor or sweetness. It just tasted like ice cream on top of unsweetened bread. I went late in the evening so it's possible the bread had been sitting for awhile. The place is very cute though.

A few weeks ago I stopped in to see Minuto Bauli. It is on Broadway opposite Venchi. The interior is large, bright with a modern motif. I saw two sizes of the sweet buns. I chose a small with hazelnut cream drizzled with a hazelnut topping. Powdered sugar was sprinkled on top. This cost $6+change. In five small bites it was finished. It reminded me of a Maritozzo con panna and a brioche with cream. I then asked if I could buy a bun without the fillings but I couldn't. Everyone working here was smiling and pleasant. The next time I come here I plan to change up the filling and topping. Ideally I would like to sit on the Vespa which is in the front and speed off magically with my treat imagining I am in Verona where Minuto Bauli was born.

DECADENCE !!! Just ridiculously tasty . The buns just at the right fluffiness And the flavors incredible. Excellent desert option or just on the run Sweet treat. Highly recommended!!!! Definitely a destination!!!!

This is a secret treasure in NYC. My kiddos and I are so happy that it hasn't gone viral yet. This is an Italian pastry shop that sells minutos, little muffins that are slit down the middle and filled with ice cream or other fillings. It is a little taste of heaven.

I stopped by after work on my way home and it's definitely a cute interior! The staff were really friendly and I tried the pistachio spread filled minuto which was a good mix of airiness from the dough and a rich density from the spread. It wasn't overwhelmingly sweet which was appreciated!

This is a very cute pastry shop! I like the "make your own" options, and it was tasty. Even the small is a good size. I also really liked how you could see the ovens where they are cooking the pastries fresh.

i never had a dessert like this before its interesting. good and bad. the bread is nice and fluffy and i got nutella inside. but its too much spread! very sweet and spills out alot. its a bit messy. its just not my kind of dessert. the service was great and i love the decor.
