"Mister 01 might have locations all over South Florida (as well as Texas and Georgia), but it feels anything but chain-y. Its thin, Neapolitan-style crust is distinctly light, made with yeast imported from a small farm in Italy and formed into a dough that ferments for at least 72 hours. While the classic pizzas are magnets for a return visit, the true standouts at Mister 01 are the star-shaped pies, with crusts pinched into five-point arrangements and prodded with generous dollops of ricotta cheese. If it’s your first time here, go with the Star Luca, which is like a margherita dotted with juicy Calabrian salami.
