"Modern Bread and Bagel, a New York transplant that landed in Los Angeles in 2022, is quietly filling the void that Breadblok’s closure left for many in Los Angeles’s gluten-free community. Its breads robustly cover the bases — from gleaming gluten-free bagels covered in a nutty “superseed” mix to challahs, rosemary focaccias, and Parmesan buns — but the bakery and cafe menu truly set it apart for its size and variety.
