Moe's Cantina - Wrigleyville

I recently visited Moe's Cantina in Wrigleyville, and I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it a great spot to unwind after a long day. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that my experience was top-notch from start to finish.The menu offered a fantastic variety of options, and the food was absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoyed the tacos—they were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The drinks were also excellent, with a great selection of cocktails that complemented the meal perfectly.Overall, Moe's Cantina exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable dining experience in Wrigleyville. I ate here with some friends after a cubs game and they had the best deals! They were serving $5 nachos which were definitely enough to share and had pretty cheap drinks as well (love a $10 sangria). It’s a very loud atmosphere with football games on and a DJ but it’s super fun with a good group (just not the easiest to talk). The service was really attentive even with all the chaos so I definitely recommend!

Super cool vibe on the night out. They were playing Latin music which seems to be the theme. Everything was well decorated and colorful. Then the food was pretty good. I had the salsa and chips as an appetizer and followed up with a burrito. Both were excellent and I would come back. The location is pretty good too. There’s a lot of stuff happening on the strip so don’t hesitate to check some other things out. The service staff was very helpful y the kitchen staff muchas Gracias.

I’ve been around the area before, I visited Old Crow last time and it was awesome. For the Luke Bryan concert I decided to try out Moe’s and I was not disappointed. The service and drinks were phenomenal. Shout out to Brian the security guard for being so welcoming and giving me a zyn!

Experience was great and Ari, the bartender, was amazing. Her customer service was personable and professional and definitely worth the 5 stars alone. The guacamole and chips were delicious, highly recommend! Drinks were strong and perfect! Definitely check it out and give Ari a visit at the bar.

The minute you walk into Moe's Wrigley the atmosphere and the music changes your mood, always a vibe. This is a great place to be with your friends & family. The roof top is beautiful and the views are amazing! I ask for Jazzy as my server and bottle girl each time as she is easy to talk to and has great recommendation.She's very attentive and always making sure our table has everything we need! I'd easily come back again, be sure to ask for Jazzy!

Omg I had the best time ever! S/o to the bartender girlies Ari & Alexx. They were so welcoming and were super friendly ❤️ & the drinks were AMAZING! will definitely be back for another night of good vibes !

Great food and beverages,music, sport screens, great servers bartenders, managers Nice. We were very satisfied with our visit weekends are very busy thumbs up 👍. Good experience to me I don't use to go often outside, now I want to dabble more to know the city of Chicago and make more friends to know and have good time again.

We had some appetizers and drinks. Priscilla was amazing! She was always making sure we had everything. She talked with us too. Food was fast to come out and food.was excellent . We sat on the rooftop and the day was perfect to enjoy before going to the Cubs game

Stopped in here immediately after a Cubs game. I watched them pour a bunch of liquor in my drink, but it might have been the worst Long Island I've had in my life. I have no idea how anyone would have possibly gotten food with all the people milling around. The vibe on the rooftop was somewhat more chill and relaxed, but I don't feel they do a great job handling the postgame action. At least they weren't collecting a cover charge.

A super fun spot! Located in the heart of the bar scene in Wrigleyville, Moe's Cantina is an upbeat Latin bar with a large rooftop patio. They have another location in River North, as well, which I've been to before a little while ago. My friends and I came here after a Cubs game and the space filled up pretty fast. Their downstairs is hugeeeee and goes so far back. The upstairs patio is really pretty, decked out in white, and definitely the show stopper; everyone was up there, there were barely any people downstairs during a popping time after the Cubs game. But who can blame them when it was sunny Chicago weather? Our server was super sweet and personable! I wish I can remember her name but she was great and recommended an amazing cocktail that I ordered twice (the pina azul). Their white sangria was sweet and refreshing, too. While we didn't get food this time, I've had their food in the past and I liked it! Will definitely be coming here again for some rooftop drinks and snacks!

We were looking for a place to kill some time before the Cubs game started. This place had open seating both on the main level and up on the roof. They had a happy hour deal with $5 nachos so we got that and a few cocktails to share. The nachos were perfect for 3 people to split and were absolutely delicious! The amount of toppings to chip ratio is outstanding and maybe the best nachos I've ever had. The drinks were delicious as well! I got a pinkalicious cocktail (not part of happy hour, but I liked the ingredients) and it was the perfect way to pregame. Great little find in the Wrigleyville area!

It's the holiday season!! If you're looking for a cute Christmas themed pop up, I recommend checking out moe's cantina in wrigley for some festive fun. They have an incredible boozy hot cocoa that is decadent and will warm you up from the cold. The bar is also decked out and great for those instagram moments you're dying for with your friends.

The food was actually good and flavorful. Our favorite was the elotes so good. Our server was great she was friendly and attentive, always checking on our needs. She even gave us a birthday shot on the house which was very nice of her. We sat out on the rooftop and it was a really nice vibe and view. The night was a bit chilly for my liking but i asked our server if she could turn on the fire and she did which was really nice. After 10 we were told we had to move to their downstairs and we did and the vibes got even better with music dancing and lots of alcohol. It's a fun place and my friends and i will be back. Specially during the Summer months. The only bad thing is the parking situation at Wrigley but i would just Uber it.

Came here for the first time after the Cubs game and was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't too packed considering it was after the game so we stopped in. $5 domestic beers and $5 nachos that were enough for 3 or 4. Great place, great prices, quality service and food.

I came here on 7/13/24 for my birthday I just wanted to chill and have a few drinks. I told the witness it was birthday she was like"well unfortunately it's nothing we have to offer for birthdays" real nonchalant like didn't even say happy birthday or nothing. After that I was ready to go. I left shortly after I was gonna order food but nope I didn't like that. Like really you guys don't have a shot at least for bday customers. The roof top is nice, the security guards were nice at the entrance. I have been here before a few times and I liked it but after that experience on my bday I won't be back.

One of our favorite spots for our Christmas bar crawl. We've been here a few times before, and enjoyed the food. Great tacos! Their drinks are pretty awesome too!!

I visited Moe's Cantina for the Grinch Pop Up and I had a ball! My friend and I went early in the evening on a Saturday, so we were expecting a large crowd, and were right. The drinks were a bit pricey, but that's not uncommon at a Christmas pop up, and they were very boozy, so I guess it balanced out. We had a few bar bites with our drinks, including house made tortilla chips, they were to die for!

They did a really nice job for the family and kids for Christmas. They closed down specifically for the event and although there were a lot of people it wasn't overly crowded and they were attentive to each group. Their tacos were amazing! I will definitely be back to try them during a non event

Came here after seeing a foodie post a reel about this place, really hyping it up. Service was good and staff was kind. The food was a let down tho. We started off with chips and guacamole. The guacamole looked appealing but was lacking in flavor; citrus, salt, etc it just tasted like a mashed up bland avocado. For entrees we ordered the quesoburria tacos and the al pastor and tinga tacos. The birria tacos were bland and the consume tasted watered down and that it was seasoned with a Costco generic spice blend like southwest. The single tacos were better in taste but everything overall lacked flavor. Very disappointing to say the least. It's a decent place for bar food ambiance wise, but if you're looking for actual good food, or a foodie spot this is NOT it.

This establishment is a joke there was no women's bathrooms. There were multiple women waiting for an out of service bathroom and they told us to use the men's bathroom. A joke

This is a fun spot with a fun atmosphere. The drinks were good but the service was very slow. We only tried the patio and it was very fun to sit and be in the sun. Great spot for groups they have large couch areas on the patio.

We came here before a baseball game and were greeted by the owner! The food was great, our waitress was attentive, and enjoyed the ambiance! I recommend this place if you are looking for good food!

I visited last Saturday night February 25th with a friend. Leon took care of me from the moment I entered the club and treated me great with great service. I ran into a minor issue but he resolved it very fast, and was very professional and I left happy. I enjoyed the vibes and drinks. 10/10 and I will definitely be coming back with more friends! Great spot to visit on a night out in wrigleyville or chicago in general!

BAD SERVICE! Was looking for a spot to eat and drink after a Cubs game, Had 2 drinks and chips with salsa & wanted more but there was 1 waitress for the entire section asked for water and she never came back. Horrible service would not come back. The drinks were also not very tasty they tasted like juice and no alcohol, disappointed to spend money here, nice location and atmosphere but worst food & drinks and service.

So this bartender called Dulce M. I ordered nachos with chicken waited 20 minutes and she come backs and said the kitchen is closed. She said she couldn't bring it the table so I stayed. Then I'm like can I at least get one drink since I wasted my time. Then she tells me to wait gives me a voided ticket for the food. I tipped her cash and she said she would've given me a drink if I tipped. Which I did!!! I tipped her 20% and told her to give me my cash back which she finally did. The unprofessionalism is unrealistic. A manager should've came since I asked for it.

Server Dule was extremely rude and the worst experience I've ever had. We placed a food order and was paid for (we signed the receipt ) she never placed the order in!! Waiter an hour for our food and when we asked about it she got attitude and said we never even gave tip so she didn't care. Dulce was the worst

I had a decent meal here. Given the reviews I thought the food was going to be inedible but it was actually pretty good. We started out with chips and guac. The chips were warm and tasted homemade. Very tasty and the portion was solid. Often times they give you the tiniest portion of guac for $10 but it was completely fair. I had 2 types of tacos: the pescado and the Cecina. The Cecina was EXCELLENT: flavorful, the meat was not chewy, and just overall very tasty. The pescado was very good but NEEDED salsa. The only reason why it's not 5 stars was that the prices are a bit crazy for the size of the tacos. I've had $2 tacos that are the same size.

Bathroom attendant blocked the door and refused to let us leave unless we left a tip. Will not be coming back

Moe's in Wrigley has been my favorite bar in Chicago for the past few years. Tremendous servers, particularly Maya who is extremely friendly and hard working. Additionally, the rooftop is absolutely gorgeous.

This was one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. Service was horrible, I don't even know how describe how bad it was, if that says anything. As Don't get the pitchers of margs, you get 2 full drinks from the pitchers max. We ordered salsa and queso, didn't get the queso. I know that's a very complicated order but to be fair we ordered drinks at the same time, waitress probably got overwhelmed. Also they don't have draft beer? What the fuck? What world are they living in. Horrible service, I'm so mad I can't even go into detail

Please please please get rid of the people in the bathroom. They are extremely rude and i feel so weird using the bathroom because they follow me in EVERY TIME. It's annoying. I'm just trying to do my business and they will literally wait outside your stall until you're done and get all up in your business. They were also super rude about leaving tips and will block the door until you do so. I also didn't know initially that they were not part of the store, so I tried to take an antacid that was on the sink thinking the bar offered it and they got super mad that I didn't leave a tip. I didn't know ????? I apologized and offered to go grab my money from outside, but she acted like she wanted to kill me. I understand this is how they make a living, but surely there's a nicer way to go about that. Like hell i'm gonna leave a tip now. Super uninviting and ruined my whole experience at this place. Really wanted to leave a better review because the drinks, food, and service outside the bathroom was top notch. But after that experience it made me scared and I literally avoided going into the bathroom the rest of the night because of her! Please do something about this. It makes me not want to come back.

This place is probably one of the cleanest places in Wrigley I would recommend it just because of that. I wouldn't recommend it for the next following reasons, this place just stemmed like it was out to get every single person. At the door, the lady charging cover was beyond rude and was demanding payment right away. She was yelling at people and telling people to wait outside if they needed to find their payment method. My group and I had just gotten a table and a bottle. We ordered the bottle for 200 dollars, the bottle came out and within 20 minutes the bottle was gone. At that point we were asked if we needed a second bottle. We said yes. We got a second bottle and eventually finished it. Once the staff saw that we finished the bottle they came to the table and cleaned it. The staff the pushed us off the table and said they needed the table for another person. All our jackets, phones, wallets, bags, and other belongings that were around our table were pushed to the floor by the lady in the image. This lady had a tattoo on her left upper breast that said, "Lover" or something Ali GS the line of that. This lady that pushed everyone's stuff to the floor was beyond rude. She was yelling at one of the people in my party. I explained to her to that we had just ordered two bottles and were wanting a third one. She refused and started cussing at me. The party that was going to use the table told the lady that she needed to come down and that they would sit somewhere else. She refused and then pushed the chair. At this point all our belongings that were left on one chair fell to the ground. We decided to leave the place as soon as this happened. What turned out to be an incredible birthday night was ruined by a worker at the bar that we spent over 500 bucks at.

Me and my friends wanted to have fun here today. First time at this bar. He said to the bar woman: "we appreciate you". (We asked for water after a couple of drinks). She said "well, this will not pay my rent". Really? Never coming back. For sure.

Nice establishment, very good bar food, great bar staff. Close to Wrigley which means it gets crowded and the prices are on the high side. Had 2 beers, 3 appetizers (2 people) came out to about $70 before tip.

I went to the bathroom and was confused by the supposed bathroom attendant that hasn't been there for hours trying to sell me a mint from a styrofoam bowl. They want a tip for a mint they offered?

Terrible service, the workers harass customers for no reason and the food is absolutely terrible. Do not come here it's a waste of money

Come here to party and for the drinks. The decor is very pretty as well. The food though is pricey and Americanized. Parking sucks which is understandable because of the location. Overall, come here for a good time and good meal but don't expect authentic or cheap.

Bring cash if you wanna have a good time trust! The main bouncer there almost let my friend in to the bar without an ID if we slipped him a $20! That easy! But we didn't have cash and he got mad and kicked us out once we said we felt uncomfortable. But you won't need cash at Bodega or Barrio!! Definitely A1 place for bouncers to work which is why I give it a 2 star :)

Their staff harasses and batters customers for no reason. This is the most unprofessional establishment I've been to in years. I can't believe they're associated in any way with Old Crow...utterly pathetic.

We went to the bar last night. Our server was great services, but the worst thing that makes me so disappointed is the bartender. I just asked for a napkin politely, but she told me that's don't have a napkin here! You should ask your server!!!! OMG! And the way that she acts was rude. I won't be back at that place again.

This place is corrupt! Worst customer service! The owner handed his business to promoters and they run it like MAFIA. Came here with 3 friends for food and drink. We waited in line paid entry fee got a table ordered food and drinks. I stepped outside to smoke my vape for 5 mins when I tried to go back I was told with a very bad attitude to go back in a LONG LINE and pay renter fee AGAIN when I asked why? the security laughed at me and told me to back in line . Security personnel are extremely unfriendly and rude. By the time I got back in after waiting in line and paying reentry fee my food was cold and security had taken my drink away. If you are a decent person, professional and want to be treated with respect and dignity AVOID this place. Try HAPPY CAMPERS, SLUGGERS, OLD CROW they have free entry, great music, good food and best customer service you go in and out anytime you want they won't take advantage of you like Moe's cantina. This place does not deserve a Dim! Would never step back here! They are standing there to rob you legally.

Staff is rude and dumb for no reason. I get being rude to drunk customers but if I'm being nice to you and trying to work with you be nice back, everybody was getting pissy bc they all whisper "let me see your ID" "let me pat you down" and then get mad if you don't hear them and listen, like no why don't you do your job and open up your hand for IDs or say something. Definitely not worth the $10 cover. So many better places with no covers in Wrigley.

We asked if we could sit on the patio if there was openings. The nice waitress said of course. When we were moved upstairs after ordering multiple food items and drinks we were told if you don't have a wrist band you can't sit up here. One of our girls went to check what's up. The lady giving wristbands was mean and dress ratchet as hell. Said that she told us earlier that we had to pay when this was the first time I saw her ugly ass. Ate the deep fried "tacos" they gave us and basically juice of a sangria. Due to Covid we knew we can't get up and dance but tables were dancing even on top of tables. Nothing was done when we pointed it out. We were charged full price and then some. Clearly you gotta be someone's friend to enjoy your time here. Ratchet. Not boujee. Very nasty.

I went into the bathroom and took a mint from the bowl by the sink and the attendant demanded a tip and I only had twenty's. after asking if he had change he said no and so I threw a twenty in and after I left my friend said he said "imma have my son beat his ass." apart from the bathroom attendant everything was fine but the bathroom attendant working the men's room Feb. 19th at 12:30a.m. was an asshole

This restaurant is about as BASIC as it gets. I would throw them under the same category as a commercial/franchise restaurant similar to Taco Bell. A upgraded Taco Bell because they serve alcohol.

Not impressed. Tried several of their tacos and they totally lacked any sort of flavor or proper seasoning. Also pretty expensive (even for the area). Service was ok but a bit slow. With so many good options in the area, this one is a pass. I wouldn't go back.

It about 80 degrees in here. Bartender just told me the ac is not working. I asked if they will open garage door window style and she said "they won't listen ". I then asked security and he said no they will not open them. I said what if someone passes out of heat exhaustion. He said "If you feel like you will pass out you can leave now". Seriously? Really professional place of business here.

My boyfriend and I were in Wrigley for the Crosstown cup this year and decided to find a bar to hope and watch the game at, although we were a little early for it. We chose this place because it said $1 tacos and $5 margaritas. I immediately regretted our choice of lunch and wished we would had waited for here!! (In all honesty I just wanted a drink for cheap). They were doing cover charges but my boyfriend explained we were just getting me a drink before we had to make the train home. The man said okay, and told us we could just go sit at the bar. Covid alert- very good at taking temperatures! Rooftop was socially distanced well. Me and my boyfriend actually got a nice rooftop spot away from people near the bathrooms. Although when I went to the bar to order all the waitresses/bartender (cus I couldn't distinguish) were glaring at me and giving me dirty looks. Finally one (who was our waitress) informed me I was not to be at the bar. Okay, then you guys need better communication because that's what the guy told me to do downstairs, especially since I was just getting a drink. But whatever. I didn't give her a big tip especially because of her poor attitude. I came for a drink, not an attitude. Overall, beautiful view of Wrigley. The drink did satisfy me, but I'm glad I was just expecting a drink- this wasn't an average sized margarita. But for the price, I get it. A little watery but prob cus the bartenders were already annoyed with me. I would come back again though- I would like to try their tacos, as long as I'm not going to get glared at.

Don't bother there are much better places to go overpriced and not good why would you be rude to a paying customer? Because you don't want their business bye.

I saw the waitress sharing my credit card info with 2 customers in the bottle service booth. I can only speculate why that was happening but a customers credit card is private information and should not be shared with other customers. This is common sense.

No stars given. So disappointed in this place. I reserved a table with bottle service (2 bottles starting at $240 each) for a birthday party. My guest were charged men $20 and women $10 when clearly the confirmation said ladies free all night and men $10. Never again will I support this establishment. Oh and the lady at the door was terrible. When asked a question she kept putting her hand to our face. How unprofessional.
