"Unless you’re allergic to lime or mint or parties, it’s impossible not to have fun at Mojito. This bright Venezuelan spot in Maple Leaf is a great escape from the soggy outdoors mainly because of the delicious arepas, pastelitos, and braised meats. The mango dressing on the salads is great if you want something lighter, too. We once had our entire table ambushed with free tequila shots on arrival, so just be prepared." - aimee rizzo
"Eating at Mojito is like one big party that you will certainly want an e-vite for. The music’s loud, the owner will probably chat with you before comping your group a round of tequila shots, and everything from their pressed Cubano to tangy braised beef with maduros is really good. "Our favorite thing to do at Mojito is drink. But no lime- and rum-splashed evening would be complete without fried snacks, which is where their Colombian-style empanadas come into play. Much like the options at other great spots in the city, their selection includes shredded beef, shredded chicken, and cheese. All of them are worth their weight in gold.
