This bright Venezuelan spot in Maple Leaf is a great escape from the soggy outdoors mainly because of the delicious arepas, pastelitos, and braised meats. You’ll find a dependable cubano, with roasted pork so tender and tangy we’d spear a fork through all of the cheese and mustard to cop an exclusive bite. Vaca frita tastes excellent in the same mouthful as maduros. And guiso de pollo is more comforting than chicken noodle soup. The music’s loud, the owner will probably chat with you before comping your group a round of tequila shots, and everything from their pressed Cubano to tangy braised beef with maduros is really good.
