13 Restaurants For When The Rain Makes You Sad - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Unless you’re allergic to lime or mint or parties, it’s impossible not to have fun at Mojito. This bright Venezuelan spot in Maple Leaf is a great escape from the soggy outdoors mainly because of the delicious arepas, pastelitos, and braised meats. The mango dressing on the salads is great if you want something lighter, too. We once had our entire table ambushed with free tequila shots on arrival, so just be prepared." - aimee rizzo

Mojito - Review - Maple Leaf - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Eating at Mojito is like one big party that you will certainly want an e-vite for. The music’s loud, the owner will probably chat with you before comping your group a round of tequila shots, and everything from their pressed Cubano to tangy braised beef with maduros is really good. Start with a plate full of arepas and crunchy corn-battered empanadas, and it’s pretty impossible to have a bad attitude here. Unless you’re allergic to lime, mint, or fun." - Aimee Rizzo

The Best Empanadas & Pastelitos In Seattle

"Our favorite thing to do at Mojito is drink. But no lime- and rum-splashed evening would be complete without fried snacks, which is where their Colombian-style empanadas come into play. Much like the options at other great spots in the city, their selection includes shredded beef, shredded chicken, and cheese. All of them are worth their weight in gold. Well, gold and cornmeal." - aimee rizzo, gabe guarente, carlo mantuano

The Best Restaurants Near Your Ballot Drop Box

"Mojito is just a quick drive from the Green Lake Community Center, and should be your takeout stop post-voting. From pabellón with rice and beans to platters of fried yucca and tostones, it’s all delicious and travels well. Don’t miss their tasty mango salad dressing, either." - aimee rizzo

The Seattle Restaurant Week Menus We Actually Think Are Worth It

"The Deal: $35 Dinner, $20 Lunch (Daily) Any extended period of time at this Maple Leaf Latin American spot is a party—with or without discounts. Their dinner includes a crispy Colombian empanada, hearty entrees like a half chicken in white wine sauce or lechon asado, tres leches cake, and their namesake drink. After crunching the numbers, you save around $10. " - kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo
