The Best Ice Cream in Seattle | Eater Seattle

"From the PCC freezer aisle to the hallowed space between two Hello Robin cookies, then 10 locations across Seattle and the Eastside (the newest in an idyllic historic building in Waterfront Park), the sun never sets on Molly Moon’s empire. Let’s be honest: Molly Moon’s is more about the wholesome, all-American-date-night atmosphere than the ice cream itself, and the flavors stay pretty classic. Mainstays include strawberry, honey lavender, vegan coconut chunk, and Yeti: that’s vanilla caramel, K’UL chocolate bits, and housemade “yeti granola.”" - Sophie Grossman

The Best Ice Cream In Seattle - Seattle - The Infatuation

"We all know how your relationship with Molly Moon’s goes. You stroll past and catch the scent of hot waffle cones wafting across the block, something inside of you snaps, and you immediately hang a sharp turn inside and order a triple scoop. Whether or not it was originally your intention to eat some ice cream, we think you made a good decision, because a trip to Molly Moon’s is a Seattle rite of passage. Their flavors focus on local products, like organic Washington peppermint, lavender harvested from the Olympic peninsula, and chocolate spun with melted K'UL bars. Look out for seasonal options that usually taste way better than the mainstays." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

I am a pretty regular at their Eastside location, this year haven’t made to the shops yet. However I was at this small store neighbor so I decided to stop by. They don’t have typical the popular lavender flavor by scoop. So I got a salty caramel. WOW~ ~ I really don’t know the inflation really make this scoop of ice cream cost $7.67. I am not sure if there is an automatic tip add to it or not, but I don’t give me a choice to select, but the end cost is $7.67… still taste good, it just became a pretty costly ice cream and the scoop also feel smaller. I like the small neighborhood shop with service window vide.

Limited flavors..."melted chocolate" not particularly tasty.. ice crystals ...$20 for a small cup and one topping each for two of us, but that wasn't the real issue... unfortunately, I can think of a number of store-bought brands and flavors that I was wishing I had purchased instead. Sorry, but Not worth the calories

Pretty good. Average ice cream, I got the melted chocolate flavor and it was pretty good.

Ice cream was poorly made had ice crystals in it. It felt like eating sand. I'm not sure who the lady was but she had a bad attitude lacked professionalism. Shes the type of person that lacks accountability. I had heard good things about this place. With the ice cream having that frostbite to it and the attitude from the staff( Lady) i won't be going back anytime soon.

Had the melted chocolate and salted Carmel. Well I shared it. Little tiny place. Only about 5 flavors. Fresh hand made cones. Pros and cons- ice cream was so rich we couldn't finish. $3 a scoop.

Got German chocolate cake and Yeti. Both were amazing and scoops were huge.
