"A celebrity chef opening a restaurant in Wynwood—there are a lot of red flags in that sentence. But Momosan isn't awful, especially if you're in the mood for ramen. There are lots of other things on the menu here too—sushi, bao, rice bowls, and more. We've found the rest of the menu a bit inconsistent though (although the stick ribs are very good). So ramen is what you should stick to, especially the gyukotsu, which comes with a huge braised beef rib." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo
"Iron Chef Morimoto’s Momosan Wynwood now boasts a new unlimited brunch menu available Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Priced at $50 per adult ($65 with drink package) and $25 for children, the all-you-can-eat menu features a wide array of sushi rolls and ramen, alongside specialty dishes such as Buri Bap with yellowtail and rice and Hamachi Tacos. Order as much as you’d like, just two dishes at a time." - Alona Martinez, Olee Fowler
"Gyukotsu Ramen It dipped below 70 degrees this week, so it felt like the perfect time to check out the new Wynwood ramen spot, Momosan. The restaurant has things other than ramen, but ramen is the main attraction here and we only get, like, six “cold” days a year. So I opted for the gyukotsu, which, according to the menu, they only make 25 orders of per day. Luckily I got one before it sold out, and it was pretty darn good. It came with a massive braised beef rib, a magical broth, and kale namul. I recommend seeking it out the next time it’s under 75 degrees." - ryan pfeffer, carlos c olaechea
"The ramen spot has around a dozen covered outdoor tables where the street parking used to be. If you want to guarantee you get one of those tables, make a reservation online." - ryan pfeffer
"If there are any food enthusiasts who still disparage the variety and quality of Miami’s food scene, these three words should change that: Ramen. By. Morimoto. For those who love ramen food, a steaming bowl served at a Masaharu Morimoto joint is irresistible. You can typically leave happy and full for under $20 when it’s not happy hour, but the real trick is showing up during the 5-7 p.m. stretch, Monday-Thursday, for discounts on delicious noods and izakaya (Japanese pub appetizers) that pair perfectly with the bar’s cocktail menu." - Vox Creative
