Monsieur Bistro Restaurant

The food was delicious and the staff was knowledgeable and very attentive. My favorite dishes were the burger, Brussels sprouts salad, lentil salad, beef tartare, the cookie, and the French toast for brunch. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu.

Monsieur Bistro brings the timeless charm of a Parisian bistro to the Upper East Side. The space also features a small terrace, making it an inviting spot for any occasion. With French management and incredibly kind staff, the hospitality is as exceptional as the food. It also looks like a great spot for brunch, offering many delicious egg dishes! Must-try: the velvety soupe à l’oignon, indulgent lamb parmentier, and the XL chocolate hazelnut cookie, a dessert so decadent it’s worth every bite.

I’ve tried almost every dish and loved it. The lamb Parmentier is perfect in this weather, the steak is great loved the sauces, the carpaccio was delicious. The club sandwiches are good quick and yummy choices for lunch. For dessert I’ve had the chocolate mousse which was to die for and I’m not the biggest dessert person. Such a great addition to the neighborhood, ive been coming with all of my friends all the way from downtown!

Amazing French bistrot ! Food is amazing and reminds me my hometown ( Paris ). Service was nice and smooth . The Lamb Parmentier is just the best I ever had . Salmon tartare and cookie were very nice too. Will come back very soon .

As you might all know, Monsieur Bistro is situated in the heart of a semi-urban area from only 15mn away from the Theatre District, where I can see myself to go before or after any Broadway Show!!! My friends and I, went there for dinner, it was so pack that we were happy about we had made a previous reservation! Now, it is a must to say that, the menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering starters. And the main courses have a variety of dish that can appeal any youngsters and adults alike. In fact, as main course, I had Tuna Steak, perfectly cook, just tender as it should be, flavored, accompanied by a melting delicious Mango Puree, so, SO tasty!!!! But now, I won’t tell you about my mouthwatering dessert choice, except that, I’m a “CHOCOLATE LOVER “and pleasure was served generously!!.... surrounded by a Grand Marnier digestive and a French classic music background to close this new upper East side French venture!!!! JUST CAME ADDICT TO IT!!!!!.... A real French culinary come back for this neighborhood!!! KUDOS to the owners and their entire team!!! See you soon Monsieur Bistro!!!!

Wow - what a lovely French bistro right in our neighborhood. I dropped in for a quick solo dining experience and tried the steak au poivre and a glass of Bordeaux. Perfection! Like being in Paris. I cannot wait to go back!

Loved it! Terrific food, wonderful ambiance and though it was our waiter’s first day, impeccable service and hospitality. The lamb was a highlight and the Salmon Tartare. Can’t wait to return. Merci!
