Moonrise was honestly such a standout experience. The food was incredible — beautifully done with a Middle Eastern twist and local Dubai ingredients that really come through. The sauces deserve a special shout-out too; they’re golden, rich, and almost steal the show in every dish. The premium wine pairing suits every dishes. Great selections of wine too. The 12-seat setup gives the whole place a cozy, exclusive feel, and it makes the experience so much more personal. Ashley,was amazing — super warm, attentive, and made us feel completely taken care of. And having the chef come out to explain and serve each course added such a special touch. Appreciate all the people behind the line, sommelier, the servers. Overall, Moonrise feels like a thoughtful, creative, and truly enjoyable dining experience. Definitely one of the must-try spots in Dubai.

Moonrise was genuinely one of the best Michelin-starred meals I’ve had. The space feels intimate and relaxed, and the tasting menu is creative, confident, and beautifully balanced—every dish lands. The wine pairing was spot on and really elevated the meal. Add the open kitchen and warm, polished service, and it’s a restaurant that truly stands out in Dubai and is well worth the visit.

Chef Solemann invites us on a magnificent culinary journey where the flavors are exquisite and the presentation delightful. All this on a charming rooftop terrace with breathtaking views. I would have preferred a more traditional seating arrangement rather than a counter-style concept. Thank you for this unique experience.

To the one-Michelin-starred Moonrise. There were 14 seats in total, all of which were fully booked. Cute cards on the table explain the dishes. All the food was beautifully presented and very tasty. Many guests seemed to be there to celebrate birthdays and other special occasions. The wine seemed a little expensive, but the service from the staff was good. There are plenty of desserts available, so prepare your stomach.

An absolutely wonderful experience at Moonrise. Great flow of service, intimate setting and good music. Outstanding attention to detail. The grilled cheese was the highlight on the menu for me. The non alcoholic pairing was a stunner as well. Ashley made the experience even better with her energy on the table. Highly recommended and would definitely be back.

There are a total of 14 seats, with two seatings per evening at 6:00 PM and 9:30 PM. The tasting menu is approximately AED 995 per person.

I visited Moonrise on the recommendation of the guys at Birch, and it was a great experience. The service felt very personal, with thoughtful substitutions and special attention from the chef. The non-alcoholic pairing was creative and delicious, and the menu cards were a lovely touch. Will definitely come back!

It was a special night celebrating my husband’s birthday, and everything from the food to the atmosphere made it truly unforgettable. With only 12 seats, the experience feels incredibly intimate – like being part of something secret and extraordinary. Every course that came out was not only beautifully presented but bursting with flavour and intention. Nothing felt random – each dish told a story, and tasted exactly as it was described to us. You could feel the thought, precision, and passion behind every bite. What truly elevated the evening was the service. Solemann and the incredible team treated us with such warmth, and explained every course with such clarity and respect for the chef’s vision. It felt like watching a well-rehearsed concert unfold – choreographed perfectly, yet filled with heart. We left happy, full, and with a memory that will stay with us for a long time. Thank you, Moonrise, for making this birthday dinner so magical.
