"This high-end Chinese restaurant at the Venetian is great for a nicer sit-down dinner in a swanky dining room, decorated with a feather boa chandelier and terrazzo floors. The hot and sour Iberico pork Shanghainese dumplings are a must, as are cocktails like the Hong Kong Iced Tea with tequila and lillet blanc. Mott 32 also accommodates big groups, which turns spinning a platter of food toward you into a meal-time Wheel of Fortune. If you’re wanting a luxe Vegas moment, go for the apple wood-roasted duck that’s aged in a custom air-drying fridge for 42 days—just make sure to reserve it at least three days in advance." - emmy kasten, andrew ryce
"There are two quick ways to spend $40 before an early show at The Venetian. You can ride in a gondola while you wonder what it would look like if they turned the whole thing into a lazy river. Or you can head to Mott 32’s Happy Hour (from 5-7pm in the bar and lounge areas) and get a cocktail and a few dim sum plates. It’s a small-ish menu but you can get a sampling of some of their signature dishes - like BBQ Iberico pork buns and sesame prawn toast. And depending on how long the show is, come back after for their second Happy Hour from 9-11pm for a few more plates, or just for our favorite dessert, a rice roll with fresh mango and coconut." - milena difiore
"In a strikingly gorgeous, cinematic dining room featuring eclectic design, Hong Kong-based Mott 32’s guests enjoy extraordinary, one-of-a-kind dishes that complement the environs. Can’t-miss Signature dishes include Iberico pork siu mai delicately filled with a soft quail egg yolk; hot and sour Iberico pork Shanghainese soup dumplings that leave a fiery kick; applewood-roasted 42-day Beijing duck; and the crispy sugar-coated BBQ pork buns — a guilty pleasure that takes classic char siu bao to new heights. Of the mains, the crispy triple-cooked Wagyu beef short rib is a fall-off-the-bone tender, gustatory delight that pairs perfectly with wok-fried snow pea tips with minced garlic. Meanwhile, the specialty cocktail program enhances the menu, with the forbidden rose, an interesting, tropical riff on the classic Pisco sour, leading the way. Service here is crisp, efficient, and extremely professional, as would be expected from an eatery with a distinguished Hong Kong pedigree." - Janna Karel
"Mott 32 is a pretty typical party brunch on the Strip, except there’s some excellent dim sum. Start the meal with a double order of pork soup dumplings, one traditional with salty broth that’s more electrolyte-replenishing than Gatorade and another with the hot and sour filling that’s perfectly tangy. The brunch drinks go beyond the Hong Kong Iced Tea and their other usual cocktails—we like the Kowloon Coffee, which is pretty much an espresso martini with cream and an added umami kick of soy sauce. There’s a DJ in true Vegas fashion, so it’s too loud for intimate conversations but great for daytime partying." - emmy kasten, melinda sheckells, ryan slattery
"Brunch is offered Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It has brunch-only dim sum dishes and an applewood-roasted 42-day Beijing duck. You’ll also find brunch-only cocktails like Kowloon Coffee with vodka, coffee, cream, and soy sauce and the Tang-Tang margarita with mandarin and Szechuan coconut crunch." - Janna Karel
