"Mott 32’s roasted Beijing duck (called Peking duck on the menu) takes more than 48 hours to prepare and is smoked with applewood to give it a deep flavor. The server slices it tableside with surgical precision, ensuring every piece is as juicy as it looks. You get the whole parade: paper-thin pancakes, hoisin, cucumbers, scallions, and a little dish of sugar for dunking the shatteringly crisp skin. Plan ahead: the duck is limited to preorders only." - Emmy Kasten

"Over‑the‑top even by Vegas standards, this first U.S. outpost riffs on its Hong Kong and Vancouver siblings with a roulette‑wheel table, a vampy red private room under a massive feather chandelier, and a menu by Alan Ji that swings through Cantonese, Szechuan, and Beijing styles. The main event is the applewood‑smoked Peking duck—air‑dried for 48 hours in a special fridge, then roasted—so order it well in advance." - Andrea Bennett

"Located within The Venetian, Mott 32 delivers excellent Chinese food and is one of the notable dining options in the complex." - CNT Editors
"This high-end Chinese restaurant at the Venetian is great for a nicer sit-down dinner in a swanky dining room, decorated with a feather boa chandelier and terrazzo floors. The hot and sour Iberico pork Shanghainese dumplings are a must, as are cocktails like the Hong Kong Iced Tea with tequila and lillet blanc. Mott 32 also accommodates big groups, which turns spinning a platter of food toward you into a meal-time Wheel of Fortune. If you’re wanting a luxe Vegas moment, go for the apple wood-roasted duck that’s aged in a custom air-drying fridge for 42 days—just make sure to reserve it at least three days in advance." - emmy kasten, andrew ryce
"There are two quick ways to spend $40 before an early show at The Venetian. You can ride in a gondola while you wonder what it would look like if they turned the whole thing into a lazy river. Or you can head to Mott 32’s Happy Hour (from 5-7pm in the bar and lounge areas) and get a cocktail and a few dim sum plates. It’s a small-ish menu but you can get a sampling of some of their signature dishes - like BBQ Iberico pork buns and sesame prawn toast. And depending on how long the show is, come back after for their second Happy Hour from 9-11pm for a few more plates, or just for our favorite dessert, a rice roll with fresh mango and coconut." - milena difiore
