Google
i have had this place on my list to visit for a while now! this place exceeded expectations! the food is amazing, the inside is just so pretty with the huge windows. HAS GF (gluten free) OPTIONS they serve personal mini pizzas, classics and specialty ones. they are delicious pizzas on sourdough bread. yummy!

Google
Absolutely amazing pizza. The florentine pizza was one of the best I've ever had. Visually the place is beautiful. You smell woodsmoke as soon as you get out of your car. 100% recommended.

Google
This place has been in my list for a while and I kept hearing good things about it, do finally tried it. It’s close to an Italian style pizza but with a bit crispier crust. And all the pizza I tried was excellent. The cheese was great and the pepperoni and onion pizza was cooked perfectly. The ambiance is super cool with big ceilings and big everything…from the chair to the pizza board to the knife (you’ll know what I mean when you go). The service was fast and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Google
A good thing crust pizza. The atmosphere is rustic & enjoyable unless you happen to eat in during a hot day in Kentucky. Either their oven is heating up their restaurant or their HVAC is terrible? Perfect if you enjoy dining in 80° F temperature.

Google
This place has an ambiance that can’t be beat, especially with live music playing at a decent volume that you can still have a conversation. The ordering and seating process feels a little chaotic - there aren’t menus available until you’re at the register to order, and determining what seats are and aren’t available isn’t great. They were probably short staffed the day we went because one staff member was handling order taking, food delivery, bussing tables, and more. The Thai Pizza was good, though not something really special in my book. I enjoyed our visit, and will try to come back soon!

Google
My favorite type of Pizza, and unlike most pizza places I go to they actually get your pizza out fast. Like all I did was wash my hands and it was ready, but it was 3p.m and not crowded like I heard it can get around lunch time. The interior is super cool and just gorgeous. The exterior can be off putting since it looks like a brick barn. They would be smart to put a giant wooden or brick pizza by the road so everyone who passes by knows what it is. The only downside is the small personal pizzas make it more expensive / less family affordable, but it's worth every penny.

Google
If I could rate this higher, I would! You can tell the ingredients are fresh and their gluten free crush option was very good. The atmosphere is very unique and open with incredible air flow, even in 90 degree weather. I will definitely be returning!

Google
Wow. My family came in with 21 people, and the staff was BEYOND helpful and fast with making sure we had silverware, napkins, all our drinks, extra water. Our order came out so quickly as well, which shows how well they handled the volume. The pizza was so delicious. I tried everything on the menu, and nothing disappointed me. I love the wood fired crunchiness of the crust. My favorite is the Florenza. I was so surprised at how much I loved the Thai Pizza, and I appreciate how different it is. You cannot go wrong with anything on this menu. Go eat here. Also, the wine from South Africa from their wine list is one of the best wines I have had in a while. If you're unsure about portion of a pizza, I feel their pizza feeds 1-2 people. I have easily eaten an entire one when full. And can share one when not too hungry. This place is an order first, and then seat yourself and food is brought out kind of place. There is a second floor seating area.

Yelp
MozzaPi is one of my favorite pizza spots in Louisville! It's located in this massive barn that is spacious and very cute inside. You order and then get a number to take to your seat. It was a Saturday night, but they brought out all our food very quickly. I split the kale salad with my dad and he really liked it which says a lot because he doesn't normally like kale. Also, I could've just had a couple slices of their focaccia and been set! It was extremely light, fluffy, and salty. For pizza, we got the spinach and ricotta and the florenza. I loved the sourdough crust on both of them, and the ingredients on both paired well together. Awesome pizza spot to try if you're in the area!

Yelp
MozzaPi intrigued me with their building photos and I'm a sucker for wood oven pizza. Overall, very happy that my family visited and we each loved our individual pizzas. I opted for the Sweet Onion Marmalade but removed the caramelized onions. Its other topping included blue cheese, bourbon cherries, sausage and rosemary. The crust was so soft and perfectly crisped. My only wish for it was a tad bit more blue cheese. The space is versatile. They offer coffees and pastries, beers, rent their venue and do catering. The upstairs loft looks like a nice spot to host a semi-private gathering. I also appreciated the ample parking in their private lot. Some tips: I passed up the restaurant twice because of the lack of signage. I only got there because my son found it first and told me which building to watch for. The website is really outdated - not only for its offerings but also the open times and menu prices. For example, my pizza was $2 more than the website noted. I'd like to visit for coffee but will be dialing them first because I can't trust the online information. The ambiance is really cool and we loved the oversized decor. We visited during the winter season and it was a bit chilly (bring a jacket) and a friend that visited during warmer months told me the ovens made the space uncomfortably warm (don't bring a jacket). Recommend the visit and I'm interested to return with friends for coffee or a beer.

Yelp
Very tasty pizza. Open airy seating. Each pie is good for one person with a bit left so 2 pies = 3 people. Pepperoni was very nice

Yelp
This place had very cozy and spacious vibes. My family and I were seeking out a new pizza spot and this satisfied our pizza crave. I personally ordered the Spinach & Ricotta pizza and everyone agreed that it was the best out of the 3 we ordered. We will definitely be eating here again!

Cindy P.

Yelp
The pizza is amazing and it was very quick. However, we were the only dine in customers when we went and all the tables were dirty and there were a ton of cobwebs on every window sill and the floor needed swept. The building is really cool and all the BIG accents!

Yelp
What a hidden gem ! Located in a large " barn" style structure with amazing quality and style tucked inside!! Pizza is amazingly fresh and pippin hot!. Service is fast and friendly. Great for a party of 2 or 22. Lots of parking. Dining in and to-go options. Great find!!

Yelp
My husband and I recently visited Mozza Pi. The restaurant was bustling with activity, which added to the lively atmosphere. The table settings were unique, giving the place a distinct charm. While they don't offer soda on tap, the canned options were refreshing. The pizza was good, and we appreciated the effort put into its preparation. Overall, it was a bit pricey, but we enjoyed the experience. You do have to order your pizza at the counter, not from a waitress.

Yelp
The service is always quick, it has a quirky and unique interior, and not only is their pizza good, their breakfast and coffees are amazing!

Yelp
We noticed the unique building over a year ago and kept meaning to come check it out. We finally got to do so today and boy am I glad we did! Not only is the building beautiful on the outside but it is beautiful on the inside too. We got the an order of the focaccia bread, the chorizo pizza and the Florenza pizza. It was all absolutely delicious. The staff were very quick to serve and help us figure everything out since we'd never been in before. My only complaint was that someone beat me to the extra bread if the day (I wanted to take home a couple loafs). I plan on returning.
google avatar

Yelp
Simply said, great place, great pizza, great people. Looks like an old church with a deck out back. We tried focaccia bread, and 3 different kinds of pizza, all were fantastic. The crust is what makes the pizza great ask for it well done. Casual setting and vibe, walk up and order both food and drink. Beer and wine by the can, glass or bottle. Thanks to Kevin and his team for a great night.
google avatar

Yelp
Everything we ordered was very good. Loved the building. Service : you order at the counter and they bring the food to you.

Yelp
There isn't really a Louisville or Kentucky style of pizza per se, but the ambiance, the vibe, and the pizza are about as Kentucky as you can get here. With a splendid renovated barn surrounded by green, one can sit outside and listen to the birds, watch the lizards come out to sun, and enjoy a pizza. The inside has two levels and will likely be full at any peak hour. It's a counter-ordering, self-service kind of operation. I went for a spinach and ricotta pizza; which comes loaded with both of those items and with a bit of spice. It's a thin crust, not my favorite in general, but here the quality of flour shines through and the crust crisps just enough. My kale salad was a robust side with a day's worth of walnuts to make a complete meal. Of note, they had a vegan pizza and given how good the crust is, I suspect the dairy-free crowd won't be disappointed. I may never come back, if only because my time in Kentucky grows short, but I stretched out my pizza into as many little bites as possible because I didn't want to be done eating it.

Yelp
Amazing pizza. Great food, nice atmosphere! Service was excellent as well. Should give it a try.

Yelp
I have been wanting to visit this location for a while!! it looks like it was a church that was refurbished into this pizza place. When you walk inside it's huge and the ceilings are so tall and spacious! A few people were just working on computers and it seems like a nice place to hang out with friends or work on things independently. My dog and I did Anchorage Trail and I was able to order takeout on the website quickly when we got back to the car -which I love. It was really easy, didn't take too long, and the pizza was totally delicious!! You can tell it's wood-fired pizza! it was a nice mixture between thick and thin crust and the size was maybe too small for 2 people unless you have sides. I did order ranch on the side (additional charge) but they were out of it, so they didn't charge me for it. I would definitely want to come back again and eat inside and try one of their salads.

Yelp
I would have never thought that the best pizza I had ever eaten would be in Kentucky, yet here we are. A group of six of us placed an online order with ease and came to pick up our pizzas. Walking in you will notice how strangely large all of the decor is and the establishment is quite large and spacious. We picked up our order and decided we wanted to eat there and the worker was kind to allow us to even though we ordered to-go. I opened my pizza box up to a gooey, warm pizza with a rich aroma of rosemary and blue cheese. I was pleasantly surprised that the pizza crust was on the thinner side (my favorite kind). One bite and I was done for. The salty and savory combination of the cheese and sausage meshed in with the sweet caramelized onions in marmalade all topped off with those deliciously tangy bourbon cherries was crazy good. I am devastated that I do not know when I will next have this delicious pizza again (as I am not from the area). I highly recommend coming here for insanely good pizza and I will 100% make sure that I taste this pizza again someday.

Yelp
I'm not sure who is rating this pizza highly. I mean maybe if all you have had is frozen pizzas, maybe you'd think this was great??? But, the best way I could describe is it is reminiscent of a 1975 Chef Boyardee Pizza Kit. The menu is alarmingly limited. The building is awesome and the place is clean. Good luck getting a napkin. If you are lucky, someone will go to the back and give you a square of paper towel. This is no pizzeria!

Yelp
I am absolutely in love with their pizzas! The Thai one, the spinach and ricotta one, the pesto one... ALL GOOD! Wonderful ambience. Great place to hang out.

Yelp
LOVED MozzaPi !!! I took two friends from out-of-town there and we ate outside. Fantastic ambiance, great pizza, and it came out fast and fresh. Staff was super friendly and helpful when coming to recommendations. Will be back to try their coffee and famous corn cookie! Wish the hours were better for the coffee shop part of their business though so I could work on my laptop there :( highly recommend this place!

Yelp
This visit was my 2nd time visiting and both times have been great. Both times, I got the same pizza though... The Florenza. The first time, it was just too good that I needed it again. They serve it with a lemon slice and I wondered why so the 2nd time I got it, I told them to hold the lemon but then someone else said that squeezing some lemon on it really brings out the flavors. Next time, I'll try that. :) Everyone that works here, that I've encountered, have been very friendly. Cool little spot, lots of open space (they have a loft upstairs for private events), and ample parking. Their website: I wish you could view the menu without acting as if you're placing an order though.

Yelp
We stopped in here for lunch and were happy to see open tables on a Saturday. We got numerous pizzas and enjoyed them all! The onion marmalade is so unique and so good - the cherry on top adds a zing of flavor! My favorite was the meatball sub, delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
This is the neatest place to eat delicious pizza. Open seating, up stairs option cute decor bar...what more could you want? Friendly staff? Check! Really good option to the regular. Highly recommend the spinach and ricotta!

Yelp
Can I give it 10 stars?... I have been looking for the best pizza and at this moment MozzaPi is it. Finally a pizza with some flavor. Located in the beautiful town of Anchorage, MozzaPi is eye catching; but, you would honestly go right past it if you weren't specifically looking for it. It's a beautiful establishment. I don't know what it was prior to being the pizza spot (firehouse maybe?) it's so unique and I loved the atmosphere. FYI: When you walk in you can either go to the counter and order, get your number and find a table OR secure a table, grab a menu then go up and order. The only table we could find had me blinded by the light and the heat coming in was too much at times. So pick wisely! The menu is straight and to the point. I like that. They have specialty pizzas and your standard 9" pizzas that are anything but "standard". Pepperoni, Sausage, Cheese are their standard flavors. Gluten free crust is also an option. We ordered the Spinach & Ricotta, Pepperoni and the Chorizo. The spinach & ricotta was cooked to perfection. I could've bathed in the ricotta. It was so divine. The pepperoni is what I actually ordered and it is by far the best pepperoni pizza I've ever had. Now I will say I ordered the Cup of Ranch for $2. Dude it was phenomenal ranch BUT $2!!!!! It was a small tiny cup that wasn't big as a minute. It was great tho! There are big containers of water that I saw most people were using instead of buying the bottle pop or cans. Just like most places the drinks were $2.50 a pop and beer was $5 a can. That's a little steep; but, to each his own. The star of my meal was the corn cookie. I almost didn't order one; but, I am so glad I did. It was sweet but not too sweet with a soft interior and just a little crispy on the outside. Mmmm mmmm good. I will Dream of this cookie. We didn't go look at the outside koi pond cause it was sweltering outside but it looked cool online. Overall, I love MozzaPi. When I want pizza this will be where I want to go. It's worth the drive I promise you.
google avatar

Yelp
Not only is the space gorgeous but the pizza is incredible, so much flavor and incredible dough. Perfect place to grab a glass of wine and read a book in the evening!
google avatar

Tony S.

Yelp
All I can say is WOW!!! I had a small pepperoni and it was incredible. The thin crust so tasty and it was so hot I could nearly eat it. I will be back soon.
google avatar

Sara L.

Yelp
So delicious. From the road, it's the "wait, are they open?" Yes they're open and you won't be disappointed. There are a handful of pizzas to choose from. Each pizza serves about 1-2 people. The Ingredients are homemade, the cookies are homemade and the staff are super nice.

Josh P.

Yelp
Great pizza with a cool cool atmosphere. Highly recommend. When I'm looking for a good pizza, this is top on my list.
google avatar

TJ B.

Yelp
If you drove by this place and didn't know it was already there, you'd miss it as there isn't really any noticeable sign out front. The design and interior of this place is really interesting! Beautifully designed! As far as pizzas, they only offer 9" pies. Create your own, or one of their own! Salads, and a few appetizers available as well! Service was great for our occasion
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
I called ahead because they close at 8pm and I didn't want to show up late to keep the staff after closing but they said not to worry and that they usually stay to clean up and close until 9pm. I placed the order online just to ensure our pizza order would be in before they shut down the kitchen and when we arrived we got beverages and ate the pizza there. They had a small selection of wine, beer and sodas. We got the SWEET ONION MARMALADE wood oven pizza: $13 caramelized onions, mozzarella, blue cheese, andouille sausage, bourbon cherries, rosemary *I felt like this was almost a dessert pizza, both of the savory toppings blue cheese and andouille sausage were lost under the pile of sweet toppings. I did enjoy the crispy crust but overall I didn't love our pizza. The atmosphere is of a refurbished carriage house with eclectic wood furnishings and was worth the one visit.

Yelp
So happy to find this pizza place in Louisville! The oversized grandfather clock, chairs, and fork create an Alice-in-Wonderland ambiance. I loved the gluten free crusted Florenza pizza with chicken and spinach. My coworker enjoyed the Spicy Giardiniera, except that it was a little too spicy for her taste. Coworkers really enjoyed the corn cookies!
google avatar

Asheley H.

Yelp
The pizza was very good. Very cute quite place. I've been to try it for years. Glad I finally made it.

Yelp
I want to come back and just order the crust. I have known for a long time that a bad crust can ruin a pizza, but never knew that an excellent crust would make a pizza. Mozza Pi has figured it out. This pizza is simply amazing. Nothing to complain about coming from a guy who likes to complain. The parking lot is a bit small - only because the restaurant is always packed because of the phenomenal staff and food options!! It's an open, spacious interior where you order at the counter and then seat yourself. The food is brought to you by a caring and friendly staff. They also have a coffee shop and little bakery. The scones are amazing. They have figured out the secret to baking because all the breads are delicious! Highly recommend! It is quickly becoming a monthly pizza option for me. By the end of 2020, I'll get through the entire menu.

Wendy A.

Yelp
Food is excellent! Truly fresh and handmade. Flour ground on sight! I've never had a bad pizza and the focaccia is beyond delicious!

Yelp
Unable to rate as they were closed so until they reopen in a few weeks??? Cannot review. Website has no indication that it is closed on 15 October 2021 for several weeks. Hopefully not COVID related closure.

Yelp
I mean, WOW. MozzaPi DELIVERS! From thoughtfully milled flours to the unique design. The owners remain driven and specific about honoring the Planet, their vision and providing delicious eats. Our favorite pizza is the onion marmalade!!! There is no better in all of Kentuckiana. A must visit for any food and especially all pizza lovers!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot in Anchorage for brick oven style pizza. Pizzas are $12. Order at the counter and they will bring your pizza out in roughly 15 minutes.
google avatar

Beccy K.

Yelp
I kept hearing about this delicious pizza place and I'm so glad I finally tried it! It's located on the outskirts of Anchorage in a unique building. There is outside seating but don't miss the fabulous inside either! Of our three pizzas, we were most satisfied with the spinach ricotta. There were fresh toppings, yummy sauce, and a great crust. The vegan pizza also featured fresh ingredients and the same great crust. The sausage pizza lacked some pizzazz and the crust was slightly overdone. All in all, it's worth another visit in the future!
google avatar

Brooke C.

Yelp
Excellent pizzas & really friendly staff! The pizza crust is the real star of the show here (as well as their bread products), but their pizza toppings are also high quality as well. Staff will also make any pizza alterations you ask. I highly recommend the chorizo pepperonis, they are full of flavor! Mozzapi has multiple outdoor picnic tables & a handful of tables inside.
google avatar

Karley M.

Yelp
Made it here on Saturday afternoon for some lunch. The building is really cool but I didn't see a sign so a little hard to find. The pizza was very good. Could've had a little less cheese just so the topping didn't fall off as much and the bottom was super crispy. My fiancé's pizza wasn't as crispy which I would've preferred. All in all the sauce is delicious and they use quality pizza toppings! We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
MozzaPi has been on my radar for a while. The problem was that it only stays open until 2 PM every day and it's a trip out to La Grange road. I finally got to try it out and it's good. There's so much to love about this place. While it's not my favorite pizza in Louisville, it's certainly worth the trip out to the east end every now and then. To start, the customer service is top-notch. Every single employee is perfect and it's noticeable. For a second I thought I was in some fairytale world where humanity had a heart. It does make a difference when people are kind. I believe that shows that they love being there. I even remember getting up to refill my water and catching one of the employees out the corner of my eye. Before he realized I was getting water, he was ready to jump if I needed anything. The other thing that should be noticeable is all of the furniture! I didn't notice at first but I think it's just because it's so large that it blends in with everything. They have two larger than life chairs that look like they were designed for giants. They have a huge grandfather clock on one of the walls. It towers above the restaurant. They also have giant electric outlets... with giant WORKING lights plugged in. I want those outlets in my house. I didn't get a good look at the pizza oven but it's very copper still-ish. The place hits the price point just right. Most pizza places that offer any type of specialty pizzas jack up the price. This place keeps things affordable. The main pizza I went for was the Sweet Onion Marmalade pizza. It has caramelized onions, blue cheese, mozzarella, andouille sausage, bourbon cherries, and rosemary. This pizza works on all fronts. I'm not sure if it needs the bourbon cherries or not but it does add a bit of tart to the rest of the pizza. I was afraid it would be too sweet as most pizzas like this are but it wasn't at all. It was just right. It was delicious and it's going to be a tough pizza to pass up when I go back to try the Thai, Iberico Chorizo, and spinach/ricotta pizzas. Javier ordered the same pizza. Since that was the case I went ahead and ordered a pepperoni pizza to go. The pepperoni pizza was good but it wasn't my favorite. I wanted to try one of their basic pizzas to see how it was. I think this place shines with their specialty pizzas for sure. When comparing the Sweet Onion Marmalade to the pepperoni, the pepperoni couldn't even stand up to the specialty pizza. One other thing I loved about the pizzas I ordered was the cheese. A lot of places are stingy with the cheese nowadays. Not here. A few bites had me pulling the cheese right off the slice. That annoys some people but when I'm in the mood for that... IT'S AMAZING! MozzaPi also has salads, sandwiches, and a breakfast menu. I'm excited to make it back for their other specialty pizzas. I mentioned them before but I have that Thai pizza in my sights especially. Side notes: -- They forgot to give Javier his cookie. When he asked for it, later on, they gave him two. He gave me one. The one I had was a peanut butter cookie. It was good but I'm not sure if I'd order one on my own. -- They also serve breakfast. Various coffee and tea drinks. They also have a few sourdough English muffin sandwiches. I'm excited to make it back there for breakfast sometime. -- They also had a small retail cabinet on one of the walls. It had various things on it. One of the things was a company called Louismill Grains. It was cornmeal. I'm not sure of the origins of that company but it seems to be local. -- They have plenty of parking. -- The food comes out faster than you'd think. This is one place that you should make it a point to visit at some point. I think it's well worth your time. I mentioned this not being my favorite pizza in Louisville. That along with it being a little further out from the city is the only reason I took one star off. Once I make it back and try their other pizzas, I see this easily being a five star must visit.

Great food and friendly staff. The place has such a cool vibe The focaccia bread was fantastic and the pizza was wonderful.

Yelp
I literally feel like I was teleported to Italy....and Germany....and a fairytale house......this place is SO COOL!! After workin' our butts off in pilates, we decided it was 'treat yo'self' time. We were starving, and really just wanted to try out a new place that was nearby. Pizza sounded good, MozzaPi was the first to pop up in our Yelp search, so there we went. It was such a pleasant surprise! Everything about this place is just so charming and fascinating. The outside of the building looks like a German beerhaus, The inside being so interesting to gander at... It almost makes you feel like Alice in Wonderland, seeing two gigantic chairs, cuttrey and grandfather clock on the walls. MozzaPi is counter service, and is basically a pizza/bakery/coffee shop. Interesting mix, right? Everyone we encountered who worked here was very friendly and explained a few things on the menu to us. We started with a house salad, because for $3 why not? Plus, it was a pretty good sized salad for the price. Our pizzas came out shortly after, which come as a 9 inch personal sized pizza. I don't find a lot of places in Louisville that feel authentic-Italian, but their pizza took me back to when I had a pie in Pisa. I also liked how it was already sliced, making it easier to eat (I went with the chizero pizza, btw.) MozzaPi, you have easily made it into my Top 5 for best pizza in the Ville.

Yelp
I am giving this restaurant a 5 star review for one specific reason: their Iberico Chorizo Pizza. Just WOW! I felt like I was back in Spain; it was simply delicious! The restaurant itself used to be a brick barn and they have managed to keep the decor along those lines so it feels very "homey". Part of this decor includes larger-than-life chairs and a clock that are definitely Instagram-worthy! Their menu has something for everyone; whether you want to go healthy with a salad or break your diet with a pizza, you will not be disappointed! Service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and kept checking in on us to see if we needed anything else. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return in the near future!

Yelp
Beautiful surroundings, local ingredients, and delicious food. Wow! The barn-like structure is gorgeous and filled with loads of beautiful woodwork. It's almost like a retreat in the woods. I ordered an egg & cheese on a housemade, English muffin and Mom went with a bacon, egg, & cheese version. Both were delectable, blowing away any McSomething you might find. The English muffin was dense yet filled with crannies. I could have eaten a dozen! MozzaPi uses their own milled flour and grits. The smokey grits, served as a side to the breakfast sandwiches, were sublime. They had to be the best grits I've eaten in a restaurant in recent memory. I also brought home an everything bagel scone for later. All the toppings found on my favorite bagel were incorporated into a savory scone and it was also dotted with cream cheese bites. Anchorage is a little far for breakfast or lunch (they do pizzas too) on a regular basis, but I'll keep this in my back pocket for special occasions or when I find myself in the area.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem and should not be missed if you're in the Louisville area. I stopped here before heading out to hike with my dog. Early in the morning they were serving organic coffee with flavored syrup made in house. I had a vanilla latte with almond milk, and it was awesome. They also had oatmillk available as a non dairy option. The service was super friendly. I'm assuming the lady who took my order was an owner, and she threw in a free corn cookie. She said they milled their own flour/corn meal (can't remember which), and it was delicious and so unique. The blueberry muffin I ordered had really tasty fresh blueberries. Absolutely no complaints on the coffee and pastry front. The outdoor space was adorable as well. Charming woodsy places have always captured my heart, and even more so, now, with the pandemic and safety concerns. The front has multiple large tables, cute lights strung up, and across the street, perfect fall foliage. The back has a comfy couch set with wooden table under a shelter, a pond full of excited koi fish, and more tables and fall leaves. It was such a beautiful way to start the morning, I will definitely return when I'm in town. I also sent my cousin and her boyfriend on a mission to scope out the pizza menu.

Yelp
Stopped by for breakfast on a Sunday around 1030. We headed toward the register to order but could not find a menu. The gal came up and asked what we'd like- I asked to see a menu. She apologized and handed us a menu. I asked if thy served coffee, she apologized again and gave us the coffee menu. A latte and a cappuccino to start us off. My date ordered the sausage egg and cheese biscuit. It comes with grits. I saw the everything bagel scone and wanted that. Then my date asked if I wanted to share the pancakes- absolutely yes! So we opted for the blueberry pancakes. They both looked at me like that's all you're going to have? So I asked for two fried eggs a la cart. The menu says egg $1. It didn't say you had to have them poached, but that's all they have. So I agreed. Our coffees were perfectly delivered to our table. Not one spill. Our food was brought out by another worker. My scone was not included. I thought maybe they were warming it up. After awhile, I realized they forgot. I went up to the counter to inquire, the gal apologized yet again and said she forgot. So she had it warmed up and brought it to the table. It was delicious. All the spices and the dollops of cream cheese inside. Wow! The pancakes were good too. I loved the crispy edges. They were served w a side of syrup and salty butter. My latte came in a funny mug. They appeared to be selling the mugs, as well as grits and cornbread mix. They also have some Colombian roast coffee beans for sale. Overall, the place is really cute but they're kinda lost when it comes to service. The owner was there and he waved to us, which was nice. We enjoyed our breakfast together and I can see why people come here, but I was just disappointed with the whole ordering process and them forgetting my scone.

Yelp
I got carryout from MozzaPi for the first time and it was a fantastic experience. They were doing curbside orders due to the pandemic and the parking lot was full. I ordered two danishes and two pizzas online. When I pulled up into the parking lot, I called to let them know I was there, and my order came out just a few minutes later. Let me tell you about the cheese danishes. I moved to Louisville from Lexington five years ago. In Lexington, I loved cheese danishes from Sunrise Bakery and I have been searching for a comparable danish in Louisville ever since and I think I have finally found it. The danish was hot, buttery, and flaky, with a large dollop of cheese in the center. I have tried to order them for two weeks straight and they have been sold out, so you have to preorder fast! Though the danish was definitely the highlight, the pizzas were great, too. The sweet onion marmalade is so unique and delicious and the classic pepperoni was just what I expected. I will definitely continue to order from MozzaPi. Next I want to try the cookies and the focaccia and hopefully soon I will be able to dine in and have a cup of coffee. This place is such a gem in the East End

Yelp
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CONCEPT! Open since June. Hours 7-2. Expanding to dinner hours soon. Check back. GPS took us thru a few turns and wiggles, but got us there, no problem. Busy!! Pizza, breads, pastries, cookies, muffins. More than on menu. Coffees, teas, juices, colas, beer. No fountain. Pecans on salads have a definite kick, but wonderful flavor. Also, blue cheese, grapes and dressing. Yes, they do have butter and olive oil for bread. Just ask. What a gorgeous, relaxing atmosphere. Order at counter. Line moves fast. They deliver to table. Everything from scratch. Word is getting out. Adjoining table from Chicago. I loved seeing the ladies preparing the dough...a group of about 8, kneading, mixing, etc. A real operation, amazing. And those stoves. Seating inside, outside, and when they open their gigantic doors, a perfect breakfast, lunch and soon....dinner escape!!

Yelp
If you can support this business right now, do! They are the sweetest people and are so thankful they made our quarantine date night so special. Cutest place and the nicest staff. Can't thank them enough for their special attention!
